Mike turns the sponsor read into a double-champion victory lap
Mike opens alone on camera, reminds ordinary champions and double champions 'like me' to celebrate, tells the room's losers that they stink, and points them toward FantasyChamps loser merchandise. He does not display a belt, ring, or loser item; the hardware remains spoken product copy.
moment
A fully staffed Deucers Alley welcomes Al back to Packers vacation
The hosts announce a fully staffed Deucers Alley and immediately roast Al: he returned from vacation just as Green Bay began its own. Video really cuts to three human producers under the neon sign. Al says he knew what awaited him and the hosts did not disappoint; because only Al is named, the other two visible seats remain anonymous.
moment
Arthur Smith offers Cardinals misery and better podcast content
The Cardinals' Arthur Smith interview makes the room accuse the Foot Clan of rooting for 'unlimited diarrhea.' An unidentified Cardinals host plants a flag, declares himself completely out if Smith is hired, and predicts another coaching search in three years. The others concede that if the team must be bad, Smith would at least make a more entertaining podcast, while still calling him a fantasy-football terror. Video adds no poll, coach card, diarrhea graphic, or target-distribution tableau.
moment
The Truth wig finally fits after eleven years
The recurring courtroom dialogue reaches 'You can't handle the truth,' and the hosts celebrate a redesigned graphic whose wig finally fits after eleven years. The real bumper shows a prerecorded host in a white powdered judicial wig and robe beside a suited host and gavel. The live desk never wears the wig. Discussion then sends old fashion through JNCO pants large enough for a family, syphilis baldness, lice odor, baseball caps, and barristers/bearsters.
moment
The office screams 'Oh crap!' at every Caleb shotgun snap
After calling Caleb Williams an odd cat who loves odd quarters, an unidentified host remembers an office game played with Mike: whenever Caleb took a shotgun snap, they screamed 'Oh crap!' at the television because that appeared to be Caleb's thought before even reading the defense. The host says recent pocket play looks calmer. Published video shows only the present desk and Caleb's real Truth statistics lower third, not the office-watch game.
moment
Mike arrives early and belligerent at the Pat Bryant superstar party
Mike calls Pat Bryant a superstar and Denver's wide receiver two now. The room warns him to preserve stronger language for Bryant's future, but Mike says superstar will still work, promises to be belligerent when everyone joins his party, and insists Bryant is the future number two despite 31 catches, 378 yards, and one touchdown against Troy Franklin's 709 and six. Video keeps Bo Nix's Truth graphic on screen and never crowns Bryant.
moment
Tyler Shough costs Jason a Listener League championship
While arguing that late-round quarterbacks can be streamed on heaters, Jason says he lost a Listener League championship to Tyler Shough. The generated transcript spells the name Shuck, while the football context identifies Shough. A targeted solo camera on Jason supports the first-person attribution; no league score or opponent appears.
moment
The Wheel turns Jason into the SSSSMOKIN' librarian
Jason loses Fantasy Faceoff and the visible Wheel lands on its blue `SSSSMOKIN'` wedge. An unidentified hand brings in a bright lime full-head fabric mask printed with an angry brow and oversized grin. Jason removes his gray cap and glasses, stretches the difficult mask on, briefly wears his glasses over it, is demoted from superhero to librarian, removes the glasses, says he cannot see, and continues the lineup as a green alien/goblin. He remains masked through the spoken close. The hosts predict scissors, but the video shows only Jason beginning to pull it off during the outro.
summary
Episode notes
Complete-video review shows Mike, Jason, and Andy present throughout in ordinary clothing; no host is missing and no Jay Griz cutout, bear image, fourth host, graphic, or drop appears. The single 'Jay' addresses visible Jason Moore, 'bearsters' is a barristers stumble, and the dark set figure is Batman. Mike opens by boasting of his double championship, telling losers they stink, and offering loser merchandise; no belt, ring, or item is shown. The show calls Deucers Alley fully staffed and cuts to three human producers under the neon sign while Al, back from vacation, is roasted because the Packers began theirs. Al audibly says he expected it; the two unnamed seats remain unassigned. The Cardinals' Arthur Smith interview becomes Foot Clan 'unlimited diarrhea,' a threatened fandom exit, another predicted three-year coaching cycle, and the admission that a bad hire would improve podcast content; video adds no related graphic. The recurring Truth courtroom audio leads to a redesigned prerecorded bumper with a powdered judge wig, robe, suit, and gavel. Targeted frames prove no live host wears the wig. Its dialogue tangent covers returning JNCOs, family-size pants, syphilis baldness, lice odor, caps, and barristers. An unidentified host recalls an office game with Mike: they screamed 'Oh crap!' at every Caleb Williams shotgun snap. Video shows only the desk and Caleb's stats lower third. Mike then calls Pat Bryant a current superstar and Denver WR2 despite 31-378-1 versus Troy Franklin's 709 yards and six scores, promising to be belligerent when everyone joins his party; only Bo Nix's lower third is visible. Jason says Tyler Shough beat him for a Listener League championship, supported by his solo camera. Finally, the visible Wheel lands on blue `SSSSMOKIN'`. An unidentified off-frame hand supplies a lime fabric full-head Mask face; Jason removes his cap and glasses, stretches it on, briefly places his glasses over it, removes them, says he cannot see, and continues Faceoff as the green alien/goblin. He remains masked through the spoken close and starts removing it during the outro. Scissors are mentioned but never shown. Routine analysis is omitted.
A quick reminder for all the champs out there, like me and double champs. Like me, it's time to celebrate fantasy champs. Are you reminding yourself? I'm reminding everyone in this room of my double championship. You got to celebrate. You let them fools know that they stink at fantasy football and you're the best. Fantasy champs, belts, rings, like they have all sorts of customizable stuff as well. And look, hey. For you guys, there is stuff for losers on fantasychamps.com. You might want to check that out. I'll send you some links. But fantasychamps.com. Use that code ballers and save some cash. To the fantasy footballers podcast with your host, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright. Oh, welcome in Thursday, January 15th, the fantasy footballers podcast. Jason Moore, Mike Wright, Andy Holloway.
Deucers Allie, fully staffed today. It's ironic because... Still deusin after all these years. Well, Al got back from vacation right when the Packers went on their vacation. Oh, did you high five? Solidarity. Like at the airport? Where you're like, yeah. You're not ready yet? Let's go to Cabo. I don't want to be here. Still? Still? Man, you really... I knew what was in store for me when I got here today. And you guys didn't disappoint. No, that was immediate. Yeah. It's just surprising you didn't know it was in store for you before the weekend, though. That's, that's what, uh, we're all real surprised that that game, you know, it wasn't in store for him until like the final, I know two minutes of the game. It shouldn't have been in store for him at all, whatever happened in that game. It's just we have very passionate Packers and Bears fans in the office and Jason and I.
in that channel that whole night it was just like we just want this game to be dramatic that's all i don't care no horse in the race but i love to watch someone melt you had a horse in that race well um welcome back welcome back out dark horse of pain watch the world burn uh this is how us cardinal fans yeah we deal with things we just we're unbiased we don't care about imagine caring i was gonna say i'm jealous that he gets to be upset well when's the last time you were like we get to be upset We do? Yeah. But all the time. No, but right now, we had, have the, by we, I mean, the Arizona Cardinals, the third overall pick. If you have not heard breaking right before the recording was Oregon quarterback, Dante Moore, is going back to school, which he would have been the odds on favorite for the second pick, maybe the first. But either way, a top two pick nonetheless, where the Arizona Cardinals then don't have to worry about that.
They just take the best non-quarterback player that they want, their pick. And now that is destroyed. Makes sense. Oh, by the way, we're interviewing Arthur Smith. And the entire community, the Foot Clan, I know what you're rooting for. You want to talk about me and Jason rooting for drama in that game. I know what you're rooting for. Everyone wants to see it happen. Unlimited diarrhea. You are rooting for. I mean, I don't even know. I know. I have planted my flag. I will have wanted Jonathan. Your peace out? Yeah. Yeah. Oh, I'm out. I am O U.T. And I will not be tricked. If Arthur comes, oh, a little bit of success, it's next year. If Arthur Smith is hired to the Arizona Cardinals, in three years' time, the Arizona Cardinals will be interviewing new head coaches. I don't care who we hire.
In three years' time, we're going to be hiring someone new because that's what we do every three years. I think someone could build something here, but not him. That guy sucks. Arthur Smith is not that bad. Hold on. If we're going to suck. How does offense look in the playoff game? It looked like it lacked personnel. Big time. No, it looked like it lacked any sort of idea of what anyone is doing. If we're going to suck, we might as well have a more entertaining podcast. Sure. And that's what Arthur Smith would provide. We have... Do you want Trey McBride to see the third most targets on the Arizona Cardinals? No, I don't. That's what will happen. Don't hear what I'm not saying. Arthur Smith sucks for fantasy football. He is a terror taking Bejohn and Drake London and saying, hey guys, why don't you calm down? Let's get more people involved that aren't as good as you. That's, it's infuriating. It would be terrible for fantasy football. But as an actual
Coach, I don't think he is bad. I don't think he's unintelligent. There are some coaches. I go, that guy is terrible. Emotionless truth is that he is being interviewed by lots of teams for a reason. Yeah. I mean, that's the truth. That's how he's viewed. Run by cowards. I mean, there's, yeah, we're not going to talk about him anymore. The truth episode, the first one today, top 10 quarterbacks from 2025 looking at the truth at the quarterback position. What happened this year as a whole? in terms of scoring trends at the quarterback position and then walking through the top 10 finishers. We look at their fantasy points, but we also look at their consistency scores. How much did they deliver on a week-to-week basis? How much could you count on them? Just because they finished at number two or three or five on the quarterback rankings doesn't mean that they were dependable, doesn't mean that they were the linchpin of fantasy championships. So we're going to take a look at that in detail. And Jason every year puts together these docs.
with the help of the team in terms of taking a granular approach to how much did they really help you? What is the truth about Drake May? What is the truth about Caleb Williams and others? So we're looking at that today. We do have the fantasy face off as well and the Jason Moore Wheel of Shame will also be on today's show called Playoff Shame. Playoff Shame. And yeah, there's a lot going on. A reminder that DFS Pass completely free right now during the NFL playoffs, DFSPass.com. and the community is over at Jointhefoot.com. I didn't know. I thought you were going to say something. Nothing to say. I would say, I believe Nico would have hit his over if he didn't get injured. No, you don't. But I am going to say that. I know, yes, you are going to do that. I mean, you got kind of hit by the injury. That was unfortunate. Yeah, there you go. Into the news we go. News and notes from around the league. Well, it was, it didn't really matter what the kick, what happened with Tyler Loop.
Because a week later, Mike Tomlin lost his job as well or stepped down from his job after 19 years. So the Steelers now join the ranks of the Cardinals, Falcons, Ravens, Browns, Raiders, Dolphins, Steelers, Giants, and Titans. I said Steelers twice. But lots of teams that need a new head coach. Yeah. And there's one team that needs a new OC. Yeah. Yep. It's, um... Zero. Look, there's a lot of teams. This is how you end up with Arthur Smith that many teams needing coaches. Yeah, there's not just the same way that there's not enough great quarterbacks who can truly separate. This is correct. The truth is there's not that many great head coaches, which is why a lot of franchises, including the Cardinals, you try to take those shots on the guys you have never heard of. When Sean McVeigh was hired, it was almost a joke. It was like this guy is younger than like a third of his team has no experience. And then it turned out, Sean McVeigh was a savant who was worthy of that.
job and now it looks foolish to even question that. But for every Sean McVeigh that you hire, there are plenty of others that you try, you know, you hope, you hire, you know, the next LaFleur, maybe he'll be great. Maybe he'll be like, oh yeah, you're the little brother for a reason. But this is my, my argument is don't hire the Arthur Smith's. Sure. Arthur Smith might act, he might be okay. But there are so many of the retreads that they just keep getting jobs over and over. And it's like everyone, mostly everyone's going to fail. Why not hit on a guy like a Sean McVeigh or LaFleur where it's like, oh, we found our coach for the next 10 years instead of like, we're going to find our coach for the next three years. It's like, stop doing that. It is pretty funny how many of the currently just fired coaches are clearly going to be head coaches this coming year.
You know, it's like Harbaugh will absolutely be a coach. Stafansky will absolutely be a head coach. It looks like McDaniel will be a head coach. So it's a little bit retread. But then there's also the argument that these guys shouldn't have been fired. You know, you get with Harbaugh, with Tomlin, who Tomlin stepped away, wasn't fired. But I think you get just sick of it. and you're just too used to it, they're not bad coaches. So like for the Cardinals, would you take Hardball? Would you take, would you take Tomlin? That's the question. If Tomlin wanted to come and coach the Cardinals, we'd have to trade something for him or whatever. Would you be happy with that? The hard part for Tomlin is, was he a, like, what was his impact on not figuring things out post-Ben Rothersberger? Like, is that just someone else's gaff?
I mean, there was plenty of years where you're watching Big Ben try to finish his career. And you're like, what? Guys, you got to start taking some shots. You've got to start getting some backup quarterbacks in here who might be the future of the team. You know the retirement is coming. Well, he's not making personnel moves. So a lot of that doesn't lay at his feet. That's what I mean. Like how much is at his feet? I don't have access to that information. But I know that a team without Ben Rothesberger. Even though they lose in the playoffs, they continue to overproduce for what that team. Look at all the other teams that don't have quarterbacks. They don't make the playoffs. Harbaugh and Tomlin, you know, certain coaches like McVeigh, Mike McDaniel, they have superpowers that we know in terms of play calling. I think Mike McDaniel should not have been fired. And I would take it. The superpower for Tomlin and for Harbaugh is accountability. They are leaders.
Everybody that's everybody on staff. A real Jeff Saturday. Every player. He wishes. They keep them accountable and they outperform what you expect. I think that's what Stefansky did. I thought in Cleveland they always outperform the personnel they had. I didn't agree that they did that. Would I take him? Of course. Yeah. Of course I would. Just for the imbued respect for a couple of years. That's what Bruce Ariens brought. Right. The league respected him too. So did we talk about Greg Roman going away? Yeah, I mentioned that he, that G. Roe had to get fired. But like the Domlin and Andy Reid are not the same type of coach because Andy Reid brought his offense. But it's like the Philly people or they, well, we can't get over the hump. Andy Reid can't do. They boot him. After being one of, you know, the most successful coaches in Philadelphia history, he gets a job immediately. And he's like, hey, Alex Smith.
You want to go make the playoffs? Yeah, unfortunately, coaching in the NFL is if it works out, it's a great hire. And if it doesn't work out, it's an idiotic hire. Yeah. It's moronic and stupid, and you should have seen the failure coming. You know, Gero, let's talk about Greg Roman. Yeah. The separation of Harbaugh and Greg Roman. It's happened. They fired Greg Roman because someone had to get fired. He had to just be sobbing through that whole call. Probably. You're talking about Harbaugh. Yes. Yes. Yeah. Not Gero getting fired. This is Harbaugh being like, that makes sense. Do you know how long I've waited for this? Hold on. You're firing me for what? But again, we lay there. For having a bad offense? He had no offensive line. Yeah, he did not. And then you didn't have a Marienhampton for most of the year. And Najee. They lost Najee earlier. And then it's like, ah, you should have made it work. And sure. But this the NFL, it's hard. But this is the only.
Offensive coordinator Harbaugh has had in the NFL. That's crazy to think about. Back in San Francisco, the charges. Go a whole time? Yeah, so now it's like, what are we going to see with Harbaugh and a new OC? I'm very hopeful that they can grab one. Like if McDaniel doesn't get a head coach, a head coaching gig, I would love to see him. We brought in our new OC. It's Greg Romaine. Yeah, I was going to say it's just in a terrible wig. In a disguise. The Eagles have fired head, uh, offense of coordinator. Kevin Petula. Yeah. What? For what? Yeah. Man, this was the... On what grounds? Yeah. I'm genuinely... I guess I'm not shocked, but I am surprised he made it all the way until after the season. Well, yeah, they, um, what this will be Shane Steichen, the only one that Jalen Hertz has had back to back years. Offensive coordinator wise. Going all the way back to Alabama. Lane Kiffin, Dable, Loxley, Sarkesian.
i mean it goes on and on i'm with you mike yeah i'm with you it's a robin hood thing yeah just keep going um roxley there it is there it is goodness gracious the question is like i've seen a lot of debate as to whether the office of coordinators they've brought in have been bad or if they have to dumb it down because jalen hurts is bad right and it's It's something that we're not in the room. We don't know for sure whether they are dumbing it down or not. But we have seen Jalen Hertz with outstanding offenses as a good enough pass. We've seen him win a Super Bowl. We've seen him lose in a Super Bowl where he looked outstanding offensively. So I'm not personally on the side that, like I think that the offensive coordinator was a real problem this year for the Eagles. If you had to break the offensive problems down into a pie chart.
How big of a piece is Petulow eating? How big of a piece is A.J. Brown eating. How much do you lay at the feet of Jalen Hertz? I'll lay 15% at Jalen Hertz, the vast majority of Petulow. And then I'll give like 10% to A.J. Brown. And that's just the 10% of routes he quits on. Okay. Yeah, I think the Jalen Hertz debate is going to be one forever. And it's wild that it can be? when you win a Super Bowl. But we've also had like... Gone to two Super Bowls, won one. Not just the win one. He's not good. When you've been at two... What was Joe Flacco? Joe Flacco, he's called a heater. And it happens. He got in the playoffs and he... You're talking about a Super Bowl. That year for Joe Flacko was... That dude was at the tables. And he was just point, point... The Ravens were perennial playoff teams like the Eagles are. The Ravens were defensively led.
Like the Eagles are. And that particular year, Joe Flackle is just on. Is that the Anquan Bolden year? I want to say Derek Mason. Yeah, I don't know. I mean, I just don't know. Like, let me put it this way, and just for the sake of debate, because this is the offseason, we get to do this. Yeah. You're an NFL franchise. And you have a fantasy style draft for your quarterback. You got the number one pick in the league and go from there. Where does Hertz fall in? If you were truthfully... drafting quarterbacks. I think that question, I mean, are you taking Justin Herbert for your franchise today, or are you taking Jalen Hurts? I think would be top 10. I believe I would take Herbert above him. Okay, so you're taking Burrow. You want to do the list? Yeah, let's do the list for fun. You're taking Mahomes. You're taking Josh Allen. Alan. Yes. You're taking Lamar for sure. Yeah. You're taking, you said Herbert. You're taking Burroughs.
Yes, for sure. You're taking Herbert. You're taking Stafford. I would not take Stafford. Because of the age. Is he done? I'm talking about you got to start a Super Bowl day. This is just one year? This is just one year? Yeah, I mean, I'm just, I'm not looking at the age factor. I'm just saying from a talent standpoint at quarterback is what I'm trying to accomplish. I'm not trying to bring us into too tight of a box, but just like in terms of best quarterbacks in football today. Then Stafford is probably like. The third pick. Yeah, and I think that's fair. I think in the playoffs right now, there's two quarterbacks that are like that, Alan and Stafford. But that's one, two, three, four, five, six. Jaden Daniels? That's hard. That's debatable. Man, I think I would take Jaden Daniels. Okay. Would you take Dak? I think so. I think I would take that. I think I would take Dak. Okay. Here's a real question mark. Again, this is for one year, not age is irrelevant. Drake May.
Because what we've seen has been awesome, but... The schedule. I know. If you answer that question, Drake May, we've answered the entire question. I don't think I do. I think I go Jalen Hertz. If I'm getting one year, I think I go Jalen Hertz. Obviously, if I was building a franchise right now, the age gap and the youthfulness of Drake May, I would certainly go that way. Okay. Bo Nix? I would go Jalen Hertz. I would too. Trevor Lawrence, he looked great. I would go Hertz. Probably. So where does that, where does that put him in? Top 12-ish. At nine. Okay. So that's, yeah, that's about where I thought. Are there some big names or forgetting anybody over there? Brock Purdy? Baker. How about Brock Purdy and Baker Mayfield? I like, I like Purdy. Dude, I think Purdy is. Shut up San Francisco. Yeah, that you don't, you, you, you're like, Purdy's not getting out of the top two guys. He just beat him. Purdy is great. Purdy is a very, very, very. No, I'm just kidding. I believe that Brock Purdy is way better than.
he gets credit for it. Oh, I thought you were going to say Jalen Hertz. I think he's better than Jalen Hertz. So you take him over? I would take him over Jalen Hertz. Yeah. I mean, I'm sure this will be the comment maker for today's show. I just think it's a little bit weird that situation because I do feel like when your offense is bad, you're not always going to have a great offensive coordinator, right? Sometimes things are going to go a different direction. There have been quarterbacks, Baker, another one that's had a ton of different ones. something falls at your feet. You got to figure something out. You got to learn to work in a system you don't love. Yeah. And the, the, the, a question of how do you go from 165, 157, 150 rushing attempts to 105 this year? Like, where, where did that happen? Was that Jalen Hurst is just like, I'm old, I'm tired of getting hit? Caleb Williams. Oh, Jalen Hertz.
If there's a one-year thing. Yeah, but just this year? I think if you put... I think it still hurts, but Caleb is probably... Yeah, it's close. It's close, but I would go Hertz. I mean... Jordan Love. Just Jordan Love. I think Jordan Love's really good. I'm gonna go Hertz. Sam Darnel? Can't. Can't. That's funny. Epstein. I don't want to take anything away from Hertz. He deserves all the praise of being a Super Bowl winning two-time appearing. quarterback doing what he needs to do. But I would not, I don't feel like he's ever carried them. Yeah, I mean, it's that's the, yeah, and this is hard. Yeah, it is. Subjective. You know, it's like when you've seen a player throw for 3,700 yards multiple times, always rushing for, I mean, other than this year, 10 touchdowns, 13 touchdowns, 15 touchdowns, 14 touchdowns, throwing for in the 20s, that is a star.
Like, there's just not, there's not many people that can produce that many touchdowns. Who won the Super Bowl for them last year? Who won the Super Bowl? Do you, I mean, last year was, yeah, they didn't have Lane Johnson back for this game, right? Correct. So that was one of the big absences in Saquan wasn't the same Saquan. Not at all. It's an infinite discussion. What else do we have? We have Bryce Young's fifth year option getting picked up by the Panthers. He probably didn't have a choice there. Made the playoffs. I think they've got Adam Thielen retiring from the national footballie. And now I rest to rest. Oh boy. And eat early buffets. 89.9 million in career earnings for Adam. Good for you, man. Just the most ever for an undrafted free agent. Congratulations. Great career. One of the best, literally one of the best Minnesota Viking wide receivers of all time. Jordan Addison arrested.
Oh my gosh. For trespassing. From Adam Thieland to this. At 3.46 in the morning on Tuesday morning. One of the not best Vikings wide receivers of all time. What was he doing? We don't know. He was trying to race Rashi Rice for offseason headlines. The fact that Jordan Addison already has the super speeding situation. And then this weird mystery arrest is just, it's not, it's not good, man. It's three to four in the morning. Just be asleep. That's what I do. I always try to fall asleep during that time period because then nothing can happen. Yeah. We don't have any details. No, we don't know exactly what happened other than you said it might involve a casino. Yes. That's where he was, I believe. 3.46 in the morning at a casino, Jason. I know you've been there before. Sounds like a good time. Just be careful. Nico Collins not seen a practice on Wednesday. Ricky Pierce saw optimistic to return this week.
believe comments about Ricky Pearsall as far as I can throw them. I can't throw a comment very far. The Nico Collins... If you fold it into a paper airplane. A little bit further. The Nico Collins information is really important to track because this offense really needs them. I mean, I know that they... That guy Christian Kirk, man. It's okay. It's okay. Yeah, they put up, what, 40 points by the end of that game or 30? The defense did. Yes, but the defense, the defense did. The offense was... Into the fourth quarter was not good. This next week they need Nico and it's, I mean, it's too early to know for sure, but it's trending that he's potentially going to miss that game. Had the short week, four games. Let's go through them. Real quick. We're picking winners and losers. Fresh, fresh chance for you guys to make the right choices. The fact that they had to play Monday night because of football and Monday or football and money.
and your player gets concussed on a Monday as a put like the other teams could have a Sunday concussion really easily can clear concussion protocol be back but on Monday is like that I it's the money machine you can't stop it but it's not it works in reverse though because if you had a player that was hurt that might not have made it back for Sunday that you get them back for Monday we'd be saying it in the opposite direction sure for the Monday night care sure I just I lean on the other side Broncos Buffalo Pick your winner. The game is in Denver, but they are home underdogs as a one seat. You know who I'm picking. I'm going to pick alongside you. I'm going to take the bills to make it to the Super Bowl. We basically said that earlier, which was even though we picked Jacksonville over the bills, it was kind of that Super Bowl would come from that group. That path, yeah. Yeah, I, it's hard to bet against. Oh, Denver's favored now? It's been on the other side enough. The.
Like the Buffalo Bills last game, that literally was, it came down to the better quarterback won because the teams, it was very even the whole time. And then there were two huge opportunities at the end. One quarterback got it done. The other one did not. But I just don't think the bills are a good enough team. And they'll run into one of these Sundays. But I'll do it. I'll take the Broncos. The Seahawks at home? against the 49ers. The Seahawks will win. Yeah, I'm going to take the Seahawks as well. Me too. No George Kittle, no pass rush. A pass rush will do Darnold in. They don't have one. The Patriots at home against Houston. The Patriots in Houston is going to be, I think, a very close game. I think this will be a difficult one. I pick New England to go to the conference finals. That's where I'll stay. The conference championship game. But.
Boy, that defense. It's going to be something that I feel like New England hasn't really experienced at all this year. The NICO being gone is massive. Yeah. It's like this is massive. Not every single team if you take off their top wide receiver, I'm as worried for that team. And Christian Gonzalez, for what it's worth, should be back. Right. Look at what the Patriots did against Justin Herbert and the Chargers. Like the Patriots have a very good defense as well. I know the Texans have. Probably the best defense in the playoffs right now. So they could certainly win it for them, but I'm going to take the Patriots there. I'm going to take the Pats. And the Rams away in Chicago, I've got the Bears. I don't think the Stafford Rams are going to travel to the windy city and get it done. I don't, I don't blame you on that one. You're going to have.
frigid temperatures. I've seen a lot made of like Matthew Stafford is one and nine in these very cold games. I don't have the data. I have to presume that a lot of those cold games came when he was playing for the Detroit Lions who never won a lot of games because they were very, very bad at that point. And he's playing up in, you know, probably in Chicago in some of those. So I'm going to still take the Rams. I think they are the better team, but that's going to be a fun game. I'll take the Rams too. All right, we'll be back with the truth at the quarterback position. You want answers. I think I'm entitled. You want answers. I want the truth. You can't handle the truth. The wig fits finally. Yeah. 11 years and we finally got. The graphic got redone and it looks good. It is. It looks good. Honestly, Andy, I think maybe you should think about just every day in that thing. Do we know why the powdered wig was the thing? We looked this up once, I think.
