Okay, so on the Texans side of the ball, you've got the permanent question mark of the Andre Hopkins of whether or not you start him. I see him as a low-end wide receiver two, high-end wide receiver three, which means you might have better options and you're okay to...

play him in a game that could be high scoring with the Chargers and Phillip Rivers. They've been able to score all year. Lamar Miller has, I think, established himself as, I mean, he already has, he already has been, you know, pretty much a must start all year long. But he's been very good. And a lot of owners of Lamar Miller feel like they were disappointed for their expectations. Just missed a two touchdown game last week.

Don't bring it up. This last week was brutal. These last two weeks have been brutal for me. This matchup is very... You went inward real quick right there. You, like, completely abandon your love for Lamar Miller because he didn't score a second touchdown. But he had 20 plus points. Really great week. What do you make of the situation? He's RB 11 on the year. Will Fuller did not start. It was Braxton Miller last week. And Braxton Miller scored his first career touchdown as well. So...

And Fuller had some dropsies. Yeah, which he does, right? So if he doesn't, at this point, Fuller is looking a lot more like a Taylor Gabriel than he has any wide receiver too. He's looking like a big play guy who isn't making big plays because Osweiler can't find him. Yeah, I'm personally, I'm not starting Will Fuller. I'm not starting Braxton Miller. Right. I would start C.J. Fedorowitz.

I love him. I love him. I would be willing to start DeAndre Hopkins, definitely not a must start. And Lamar Miller. Those are the only three pieces from the Texan side of the ball. And my expectations are a little bit higher just because of the matchup against the Chargers, where I believe points can fly a lot easier than, say, this last week where they were playing, you know, Minnesota. And you knew it was just going to be a defensive, low-scoring game the whole time. You want those points to jump right out of the nest and fly.

Just flying. Tyrell Williams has averaged 16.7 yards per reception. That is the second highest mark in the league this season. We know the Texas defense is very good. And so what push comes to shove here? What's the story with Rivers and his wide receiver core? I would still start him. But this is, it's, this game's decision making grunts.

You know it's a tough decision when you get to... When you listen to Mike, you don't... You can't read the transcript because then you have no idea what he's saying. You have to listen to know like, okay, so he says, yeah, the transcript would say, yes, I would start Tyrell Williams. But you go, sometimes it's, oh, yes, I would start Tyrell Williams. And sometimes it's, yes, I would start Tyrell Williams. That's why I usually speak in gifts and emojis. That's true. That's true. You do. And that's why you're not there, but.

Gifts and emojis are very effective on podcasting, too. This is very interesting because you have the run defense for the Chargers, fifth in the league, they're strong. They're going against Lamar Miller and the Texans running backs are averaging over 100 yards per game. The Chargers passing defense is weak, but the Texans can't pass the ball. So you have this weird diagonal.

uh strength versus strength situation going on here in the charges versus the texans so i'm okay to answer the question i'm okay starting rivers here tybro williams is to me a more of a flex guy i you can wide receiver to him if you need to because you know the big players big play is possible every single week and then of course melvin gordon locked and loaded running back one would you trade uh didn't we have this question on the show the ajai melvin gordon trade

Did we bring that up on here? Was that on the footcast? I don't recall. I don't know. Who would you rather have rest of the season? Melvin Gordon. Okay. Just making sure. How about the tight ends? Okay. You talked about Fedorowitz being good. Now you have Gates and Henry together. Would you rather start Eric Ebron over all of the tight ends in this match? Yes. Okay. How about Gary Barninger, Antonio Gates this week? Ooh. I'll take Gates. That's close. I'll go. I'm going to trust Philip Rivers more than McCown. Yeah, that's a.

I bet when the rankings come out, they're going to be very close for me. One thing to note here, because when it comes to the wide receiver group for the Chargers, Tyrell Williams has been the guy that has excited me because it seems to be clearing up as Travis Benjamin got out of the way, was injured, wasn't sure if he was even going to be able to make it back this year, and Tyrol Williams bumped up mentally more and more for me. However, they had their bye week.

And Benjamin has gotten healthy apparently through that by week. He was back at practice. So I expect Travis Benjamin to play. And if Travis Benjamin is playing against this Houston Texans defense that is really, really good against wide receivers, I assume because points are going to go up, someone's going to have a good game.

But I don't. You don't feel confident. I don't feel confident. And so because of that, what we see is that usually two-thirds of this group, if you're talking about Benjamin, Williams, and Inman, two-thirds of the group have really poor games. You know who they are? They're in the same boat this week with the somebody's going to score, but I don't know who, as the Cardinals are. Because we did not get into, like, Floyd and Brown and Nelson.

in Arizona and the back, because we kind of moved on from that. Yeah, but, but I know Fitzgerald is going to score. Well, that's the thing is they've, you got that one wide receiver that you can, you don't have it here. But there'll be one guy here at least that has a good game, and there'll be one guy in the Brown, Floyd Nelson that has a good game. For me, if Benjamin is back, I am probably avoiding all the options. And that's not to say that someone isn't going to have a good game. It's to say that you just can't possibly know that in advance the way that, you know, this year has gone.

Now, I know it's Thanksgiving, but Christmas has come early for J. Ajai. The 49ers traveled to Miami to take on the Dolphins who are seven and a half point favorites. The run defense for the 49ers, I believe they're playing a man down. I am not sure, but I'm not sure. I think that the counting is wrong. One of those symbolic. We're going to play with 10. I, Jai is just a great start this week.

Now, what I'd rather, you know, I think at this point, those that have them have been starting, right? Oh, yes. So on the other side of the ball, though, Carlos Hyde has been injured and now returned, and then Kelly comes out this week and talks about Hyde being the center of the offense. So where do you stand with Hyde? What is he this week? Is he a RB1, a two, a three? A two. He's a two for me. I mean, the volume is there for Carlos Hyde. The team we talked about this, the 49ers have actually been.

better the last couple weeks. They're staying in games. The defense is holding up enough. I mean, running backs are still doing some serious work here. But Kaepernick, he's still keeping them to a point where the game is not just completely out of hand where they have to abandon Hyde completely. So I just, I think he's fine. He's going to get the volume. The Dolphins run defense is not as terrifying as it should be. Carlos Hyde or Latavius Murray this week.

Look at possibly, possibly picking him up if you've got a burnable bench spot. I would just cuff Martin. I think that's all he is for me the rest of the season. But yeah, that's interesting. We don't know whether or not he's been activated. This is super early news. So he might not be activated still for a couple of weeks. That's the process. But he is back at practice, which is good news means he will almost certainly be activated this year. And for those, that juicy fantasy playoff matchup that everyone's gone and got Doug Martin for that matters.

I was going to say on Carlos Hyde getting back to the Niners game, I see Carlos Hyde as a running back one. I think what he's done this year when healthy, you know, over those first five weeks, he had a bad week two, right? I mean, look at his fantasy points, 24, then the week two, which was six, 27, 15, 22. He got injured, went out, and now he got back this last game, got 19 carries and three receptions.

against New England, if he is the centerpiece of that offense that runs so many plays, I think he's an RB1, and I would certainly start him. Just to clarify for Sims, because he was on IR, he's not even eligible to play until week 14. Right. Yeah, that's what I mean. He's not going to be active. You get back to practice first, and then you have three weeks to activate him. He has been designated as the return guy. Oh, good. So they're expecting him.

There is a big question mark in this game about who will be the, you know, we had the streamer, right? Tannahill and Kaepernick were streamers this week. Mike likes Tannahill. We know somebody's going to be the beneficiary at the wide receiver position. Everybody wants to jump onto Parker because he's making strides. He's very high draft pick, good pedigree. Landry's still outperforming him. And we talked yesterday. Parker and Stills have the exact same per game average. So what in the world do you do? You've got to start one, Mike. Gun to your head this week.

It's a half point league. I'll start, Parker. Okay. I'll go that way. I mean, he's trending up for sure. And, I mean, it's that narrative of he's the future for the franchise, a first round pick, a very high wide receiver draft pick. So I'll follow that and I'll start him. All right. laying a complete egg is higher for Tannenhill than it is for Kaepernick. I mean, because Kaepernick's going to have to run for his life. Now, do we know, I wanted to get a progress on that. Is Tori Smith out? Do we know if Tori Smith is out in this game? I will bet. Because I knew that there was a chance that he would be inactive in this game. I know he's questionable right now. Oh, he did practice on Tuesday. Okay, that is good news for Kaepernick. That is very good news because the Jeremy Curley and Clinton Patton show, it's, uh,

It's not a good one. All right, let's talk about the Rams and the Saints. Strength versus strength here. You know, the Rams, aside from about a three-minute period, were a great defense last week. They've been a good defense. The Saints obviously are at home. They're seven-point favorites. They're in the dome. I don't think, I guess I've talked myself into the realization that there is no hesitation starting a Saints player in this game. Sure. I thought you were going to go with its weakness versus weakness.

of Jared Goff versus the Saints past defense. Oh, well, there is that. What's going to happen? Well, they're going to have to pass the ball in this game because unlike most of the Rams games this year where the Rams have just been, you know, they've been holding opposing offenses to very few points. They're not going to do that in the dome against Drew Breeze. So I think you're going to have to see Goff open it up a little bit more. I am fine.

Because of that, starting Kenny Britt this week, I think if you look at, you know, Kenny Britt or some of those players we named earlier, they're going to have to throw the ball more than usual. And Kenny Britt's been okay as usual. Kenny Britt's been great. He's the 25th ranked wide receiver. Yeah. So what we saw last week with golf was Kenny Britt was okay.
