Alan Robinson has actually been okay for fantasy football this year. The view on him because of what a terrible start he got off to was just like he is, he's already busted beyond the ability to come back. But in reality, dumpy, dumpy. Can't put him back together. All the Kingsmen. It's just not happening. But he's actually been pretty productive. He's, you know, in the top 10 for targets, which is probably the most important, you know.

284 passagesstat that you look at when you, when you're talking about a pass catchers, how, how involved is he in the offense? He's wide receiver 20 in half point PPR leagues. Exactly. Exactly. But the last four weeks, three touchdowns, playing better, higher target percentage than he had been receiving. So you could do worse. And I think they'll be down in this game. So you always have guard. When, uh, when was Greg Olson fired? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's a good point.
And that was one of the hopes. So the Titans take on the Chicago Bears. Matt Berkeley. Yeah, this is, you know, it's interesting because I was looking at the Bears defense. And while they are 12th ranked for like, I think yardage given up, they're like 32nd in fantasy points given up now to wide receivers. Hmm. And so, hint, hint, Richard Matthews, right? Right. In this matchup, I feel very confident starting Richard Matthews.
I think nobody is questioning, starting Murray, staying in the flames with Marioita in this game? Oh, yes. Oh, yes. And Delaney Walker is the start as well. So suddenly we're starting all the tights. Hey, the exotic smash mouth is not so exotic or smashing mouthy. Well, they're just putting up points. They're putting up points. So is there any hope? Do we just ignore the Bears' offense for fantasy football the rest of the year? Yep. I think you can.
You can keep an eye on Jordan Howard. Their defense keeps games low scoring for long enough before they tire out after having been on the field the whole game, where the first three quarters, Jordan Howard or whoever the starter is, right now it's Jordan Howard, is able to be involved. And I would still be willing to start Jordan Howard outside of him. I'm abandoning the Bears. The Bears, Dee, man. It's incredible what they've given out to wide receivers over the last.
six weeks it is not yet uh i don't think it's been announced that j cutler does have the torn labrum it's just in rapaport says that's what they think is going on second for second opinion so john fox i believe is said j cutler is day to day if you have to uh is that serious no that's just the john foxism he'll be on he'll be on i r and he'll say he's day to day i missed it completely too i was like moving on to the next question john fox jokes just go over my head anymore they're just
That's just life. You have permanently positioned yourself to ignore all things that start with John Fox set. So you don't even hear it anymore. You're like one of the Westworld people looking at a photograph of the current. You don't see anything. That's exactly right. Stuck in my loop. Right. All right. If you had to pick one wide receiver to take a dart throw on for Chicago, it would be... I'll go with Cameron Meredith still. But not without...
Saying it in a sad tone. That is for sure. That is exactly right. I'll go Cameron, Meredith. I wanted to check something real quick. Are you verified, Mike? Yep. No, you're not. No, no, he's not. I'm thankful for that, this Thanksgiving. The Giants take on the Browns, the Cleveland Browns.
The woe is me, Browns, the seven-point underdogs at home Browns. So start your engines and start your giants. I was going to do this as many times as I can in the show. Oh, I thought you were going to start an engine like a normal car. Like blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Manning, Jennings, Beckham.
Can you start Shepard? Can you start tie on the giant side of the ball? The Browns are 31st against the run. They're 22nd against the pass. They're 32nd in fantasy points against tight end.
I realized that Will Tye has not had a double-digit fantasy game yet this season. But he was almost my start of the week. And if you're needing a tight-in, I think Will Tye is a fine play because he has only been really the starter over Larry Dinell for the past three or four weeks. It started with a poor schedule. I think it started against Philadelphia, who's the second best team against tight-in, so he didn't do anything special. He's been involved. He caught a touchdown. I think this could be a week where he goes Hog Wild against the worst team in the NFL against...
against the tight end. Now McCown, I know, has thrown, I think, seven touchdowns to Barnage in his career. That's the connection that Mike is a fan of. Yes. Yes, very much. She is, in fact, will spoil that, that he's going to be my start of the week because I want to give people that the confidence that I'm okay playing Barnage here. Now, Mike pumped the brakes on Terrell prior. I think you can still start him if you have to start him. In my circumstance, in our league, I'd start Steve Smith over him.
I think I'd start Devante Adams on Monday night over him. That's exactly what I meant, where people, if you have prior, you likely have these other guys. Now, let me put you in a flex position here, because I'm just going to keep my team up here. Drell Pryor or Mark Ingram in the flex. Man, I think I still would go with Ingram. Okay. All right. That makes sense. So we're going to go ahead and move on and talk about some steaming hot trade tips before we get into the rest of the forecast.
Steaming Hot Fantasy Tip. We actually have three of these. Three today. Yeah, with the trade deadline coming down to the wire in mini league, some you might be past them, but we wanted to give you some ideas of exactly how to approach trades at this time of the year, or more so just how we approach them. And then if you believe in that, you want to implement that, go and do it. Jason, let's kick it off with you. What is your steaming hot trade tip for this point of year? Sure.
trade tip is streaming hot steaming hot is to uh don't look for what players you want to target people always think i need a wide receiver who should i target and and we we answer is always ntonio brown sure the the answer is always the same so you don't need to ask anymore who should i target it's it's almost not a not a which player should i target it's which team
That's who you need to target. Instead of going to your wide receivers and sorting by who's got the most points and looking at guys you like or don't like, that's nonsense. Because let's say what you've got to give up is you've got two great tight ends. You had Tyler Eifert come back and you had Jordan Reed and you need wide receiver help. This is just one example. And so you're saying, hey, I'm going to trade Jordan Reed or Tyler Eiffert. Well, and so you want, I want Mike Evans. I want to get him. I want a package. And you go to Mike Evans team and he's got grunk.
You're not getting Mike Evans. It's just, it's silly to target players. What you do, every league out there, there is a page where you can look at the league rosters total at a glance. On Yahoo, on ESPN, on, you know, MFL, all of those, they have those league roster pages. And what I do is I look at what I'm going to give up. I go, I got a lot of running back depth. I need to find a team that needs a running back. So I just go to that page and I control F.
and I type RB, and I make sure the highlight all is on. And I scroll down through the page, and I can just so quickly and easily look at every team's running backs and say, oh, they're stacked, they're stacked. Oh, my goodness, they're awful. Let's see if they've got wide receivers. Oh, they've got three solid wide receivers. That's the team. That's how you find a trade. Don't trade for players, trade for teams, and then within that team. Right. And I was going to add that, I said maybe if you did identify three or four players.
that you really wanted based on playoff schedules and what your team needs, that's the tiebreaker of which team to approach and who to approach. Yeah. Would you agree with that? Yeah, absolutely. I mean, at some point, you're going to need to know which player. I'm just saying the path should start, in my opinion, with what teams are good partners for me that I could get a trade done with and then see if there is that perfect match of a player you really like to target because of fantasy playoffs and things like that. I'm going to go with.
quality over quantity at this point in the year. Look, the value of depth goes down the longer the season proceeds, right? I don't need to, I want to win my league. I do not want to finish with the most bench points. Now, I understand, look, something can happen in the playoffs. And having a good roster is important. But what do I want? I want those Mike Evans, the Odell Beckham Jr.'s. I want the league winning type of players. And I've seen people send me in these trays, and they go,
Well, I just sent Latavius Murray and then, I don't know, Richard Matthews and a quarterback for Odell Beckham Jr. And I know I feel like it kind of overpaid, but I just really wanted him. That's cool. I'm cool with that. Go get these big guys because you're at the point now where you've got to win three weeks. You've got to win three weeks in a row. And so quality over quantity at this point, you've built up that depth by being smart on the waiver wire, by being smart in your trades and your draft.
Now is the time when cashing in on some of that. We've talked so much about two for one deals, three for one deals. This is the time to cash in on that. There are teams hurting. Look at all the injuries this past week. That's when you take advantage of two for one and three for ones is hurting teams, the Sproles owner, the geo owner, the A.J. Green owner, whatever it might be, they need quantity. And they're going to look at those trades. And that's how you overwhelm people.
and get a better player at the end. So that's my trade strategy for this time of year. Yeah, mine kind of piggybacks on that. It's just a, as you look to improve your team, don't be stingy. I know it's the time, it's the holidays. It's the time forgiving. Understand that maybe on paper, if you looked at this trade in week two, you lost. You've lost this trade badly. But this is, it's different. The strategy has shifted. So do not be afraid to lose a trade.
when you're looking at overall points, if you're getting a key cog for the playoff run. Would an example of that be trading somebody like Aaron Rogers or Jordy Nelson with what they have as a playoff schedule coming up? Sure. That can factor in. And on top of that, maybe this isn't a trade strategy, but just a strategy for moving forward. Get your handcuffs, man. And that's involved with the don't be stingy. You're thinking, wow, I'm...
I've really just overpaid for Mike Gillisley. So what? If you got LaShawn McCoy and you're going into the playoffs and you know that you have the bill's backfield locked up because Gillisley, when he's the starter, he's going to produce points. So what? You paid, you overpaid for the backup. You need him on your team right now. And the nice thing is both of what you're saying applies because if you need to go and trade for that handcuff that matters.
then you can. But on Andy's side, sometimes the handcuffs are out on the waivers. And so you go, I'm going to overpay. I'm going to give up, you know, this guy, that guy, and this guy for the superstar stud. Clear a bench spot. And I cleared a bench spot. I'm going to grab that handcuff. You're set up better for that three-week stretch to dominate. I will also say with the don't be stingy part, you're playing to win. Jason inadvertently modeled this today. Yeah. Because he just let a depth piece of James White.
Whatever. You pumped the brakes on James White. He scored 15 points last week. He's a great depth running back to have, if you need one. He just released him into the waiver pool. To pick up a third quarterback in Tyrod Taylor. Just because he's in the playoff fight and wants to stop. I have to win this week. See, that's the answer to the quick question. Nice job. That's how you get in the playoff. Yeah. You play with all the strategy you can within the rules. I agree. All right. Back into.
the fantasy forecast. And just in case you need a reminder, this is the Megalodon episode. And we've got a lot more. We've got the rest of the forecast. We have our starts of the week as well coming up very soon. 12 delicious Thanksgiving names for you this week. So we want you in the playoffs. We want you winning your league. Get that Foot Clan title.
We're all about it. We still got eight games to cover. 12 starts of the week. Yeah. We ain't near done. You're an eight-course meal type of guy. You should be fine. We're reaching that point where I'm an eight-course meal guy on Thanksgiving. Maybe the top button of the jeans. Maybe you've got to make some room. Dude. You got to do what you got to do. You got to drill a new hole into that belt. That's the ultimate concession point. I've done that two times in my life.
Twice? Yeah. Well, I mean, not like a week later, but I've gone into the garage, I've pulled out the drill bit, and I've drilled a new hole, because I don't want to go buy a new belt. Because that seems even, I don't know what's worse, right? Clearly the drilling is far worse. If you go get a new belt, you just, hey, I need a new, shiny new belts. Yeah, but that takes some time. What happens right when you're feeling it? And you got the belt on, you got to go down and make a quick adjustment. But have you gone? But I've run out of room. Have you gone just.
