And Jason Moore, not known for his grammar. Not known for my grammar, but you want to know what I am known for? Keeping a clock on that NFL season, 62 days to go. 62 days? Until the regular season kickoff, which really means we're like... The Thursday night? Yeah, the Thursday night. Oh, my goodness. Which just means we're weeks away from like the prime fantasy football drafting season. My son keeps a clock on his birthday, and he asks me every day how many days until his birthday.

But you're talking in the like 40s and 50s, and every single day, he has to know the exact amount of days until his birthday. It's a hard labor as a father. Do you do days? Because for my kids, it's always, how many sleeps? How many sleeps? How many times do I have to sleep before something great happens? Is that what fantasy owners are doing right now? That's what I'm doing. How many sleeps before the Hall of Fame game? My little one is always minutes.

Always everything. Oh, you've got it. How many minutes until my birthday? I'm like, I don't know, 10 million. Yeah, that one, you'll have to figure that one out for the next show, Jason. Right. You'll have to figure how many minutes until kickoff. But welcome in to another episode of the podcast. It is July, it is July 7th. So hopefully you had a good holiday earlier this week. And safe. That we go with the two-quarterback. The system is growing in popularity, so we want to make sure that we can get our thoughts out about that as well. And people always want to know, like, well, how does that change? We're always talking about draft quarterbacks late. Do you have to do it? Are you supposed to do it in a two-quarterback? Well, you're about to find out. Yeah. It'll be very, very educational for everybody involved and entertaining, I'm sure, because we'll have some disagreements on who to take and where to take them. It's a 12 team.

He says he's been a listener since last year.

He said there have been several shows in which we've talked about the best league format and setup in our opinion. Ah, yes. However, he wants to know if we can create some sort of document that includes all the facets of our ideal league. So this could be keeper spots, bench spots, and then he says, in parentheses, everything.

So everything, all the details. He said it would be really helpful and would not require sifting through multiple episodes to pull out the relevant data. You know what, listener whose name I have already forgotten? I agree with you. Well, I didn't mention it, so you're in good shape. His name was Ryan. Ryan, you are such a beautiful, smart man.

Actually, we do have this content up. One of the things that we do here is, you know, the fantasy footballers, we want to bring people together. Our Foot Clan community over at Join the Foot Clan League. They have access to the Foot Clan Leagues.com. And with access to that, they can, like, join in these leagues. I'm going to take the, we have our, what we refer to as the ballers preferred, and we've got every detail of it posted there. But that is restricted. I'm going to.

put an article on the site with just that content, because everyone should be able to have that. I agree with you, Ryan. And so we will post an article soon on the website, but here it is really quickly. Twelve teams would be our preferred. Half point PPR is the scoring format that we like. We feel like that levels the playing field very well. Usually one quarterback. Six-point passing for quarterback touchdowns.

levels of the field again. I would get rid of the kicker, but I believe our ballers preferred has a kicker spot. Two running backs, two out receivers, a flex. Anything I'm missing? Major stuff. Yeah, we very much like keepers. Like keepers. I know some people feel like that lowers the quality of the draft, but I can tell you the way that we do at our draft is still the pinnacle of the year.

and keepers just keep the offseason going. So there's a lot of great things. And there are more details and a few surprise, like kind of little, if you look at the small details, there's a few scoring things in there, like a 0.1 points per carry for the running backs. That's a little bit different than what you might have out there. So go to the fancy footballers.com probably tomorrow, and I will post all that information on there.

Yeah, that's really good information. And again, this is more of the curiosity of the listener wanting to know our ideal format or wanting to kind of set up a league without doing all of the thought process behind every micro setting. Maybe you're new, maybe you're new to the game. But yeah, we want some guidance. Yeah, we play in a lot of different leagues with different scoring formats, hence the two-quarterback mock draft we're doing today. And so it's kind of whatever your flavor is. All right, let's go ahead and get, let's get into it.

The fantasy footballers mock draft. All right. Let me set the table again. We're going to kick it off right away. We're drafting from the nine spot in a 12 team, two quarterback PPR mock draft. We're doing it right now. I'm going to start the mock. And Antonio Brown comes off the board at number one. Cam Newton goes two. Aaron Rogers goes three. Julio four, Russell Wilson, five, Lev Bell, six, O'Dell Beckham, Jr. seven, and Andrew Luck.

Eight, I will keep this mock draft so people can reference it on the website. You can go and look at all the picks because as we get into the draft, we're not going to be reading every name from every single round that would make that impossible and not entertaining whatsoever. So here we are. You can already see the huge difference. When you have two quarterbacks in a league, you have four that have gone off the board now.

in the first eight picks. This is not something you would normally see. No, not in a normal draft. And so that's why a lot of times people are like, I wait until the 10th round, like you say, in a two-quarterback draft and all the quarterbacks were gone. It's not just a matter of where you draft them. It's also dependent upon what the other people in the draft are doing. So right here, it's not what's the value of costing you a first-round pick. But, okay, we're taking, if we took a quarterback here, it'd be the fifth quarterback off the board.

We have to get value there in order to take the fifth quarterback off the board. So I would say we've got to have like our number two or three quarterback at least if we were to take the fifth quarterback off the board in the first round, which I guess is there's kind of a guy that is in the running at least. Drew Breeze to me is my number three. Yeah, you got Drew Breeze still there. And then I think some people might consider Tom Brady if he's not suspended, of course. But.

Otherwise, I don't think there's anybody that I would jump at in the first round. I like the fact we're doing this because we are such big proponents of late round quarterback drafting. And so our standard methodology is waiting on quarterbacks until you can get value. And generally for quarterbacks and one quarterback leave, value comes later. In this type of league, now it's really different. We really have to look at the quarterback position and put off the bias that we have, or maybe the...

kind of the habit that we have of just waiting and waiting and waiting. Now, Mike, I know generally wants to wait here too. Yeah, I still, even in a two-quarterback league, I wait a little bit. I'm not saying I wait until the eighth or ninth round, but usually around that three, four is where I will start looking. So for me here in this first round with all the big guys are gone.

I'm looking at taking either a David Johnson or an AJ Green. Those are my top two choices right here. So David Johnson, Todd Gurley, both on the board. DeAndre Hopkins, Des Bryant, AJ Green on the board at the wide receiver position. And like Mike said, David Johnson, an option here for sure and a full PPR. So it just depends on how do we want to play this. Do we want to go with the route of taking the quarterback right here?

Or do we want to wait a couple rounds? And I'm fine going either way. I believe the two of you generally prefer a quarterback a little bit earlier. I would not take a quarterback in the first round. If it were up to me right here, I would take AJ Green. AJ Green would be my pick as well. Looking at, you know, Drew Breeze is a little tempting. But, you know, to me, I do plenty of these mocks with two quarterbacks where I go both of them later and I'm still happy with it. I think I would be disappointed if I missed out on AJ Green here.

A consideration is this is a snake draft, so we are drafting 9th out of 12, so we'll come around to our pick very soon. Let's go ahead and select A.J. Green as our first pick off the board in this mock. Drew Brees, drafted immediately after A.J. Green, followed by David Johnson, Devanta Freeman, Demarius Thomas, Tom Brady, and DeAndre Hopkins. I should remind people, we are doing this mock draft live.

Yeah, you must if you want to prepare yourself for your draft because it gives you such a gauge. Very ominous. And obviously Jason will enforce that. You must draft. The truth is, I think it's the best. It's like Liam Neeson from a couple episodes ago. I believe that this is the

most important tool you can do. If you want to take your fantasy football up a notch, be more prepared in the draft. The number one tool is mock drafting.
