But I want everyone to realize these things are going to change maybe drastically as the season approaches and we get into camp and we see these battles. You know, it's very easy to take DeAndre Washington and like Mike just said, yeah, in the later part of drafts. Well, it might be in the middle of drafts pretty soon if things change. And those are going to drastically change. That's one of the things that's nice about.

the rankings on the website or the UDK is that they are always changing, but we are not afraid to make the changes of the point. We're not necessarily going to, you know, die on a hill for a guy that we've put high in our rankings in the middle of May just because that's where they're at. We want to react and be smart. Win? Oh, gosh. It's going to be my. Shouldn't have picked that much. All right. So what quarterbacks are left here? There are no quarterbacks. They're all gone. Oh, okay. Well, then let's go with a running back.

At this point. They're practically gone. I thought you are like madly in love with Matthew Stafford. I see his name and he's by far my favorite guy on the board. Now to me, because like I said, so I'm drafting. I'm probably going, I'm going to go QBQB here. Right. And this is our short wait. So the, I would say that the two preferred guys I would want here would be Cousins is one of them, Kirk Cousins. I still believe in Kurt Cousins. And then a.

Stafford or Ryan would be my two. But I don't know who to go. I don't know who to pick first on who's more likely to make it back. I will say this, even though I'm sad that we didn't get Tony Romo in the round before. Having Gurley, McCoy, AJ Green, and Mike Evans, and then if you told me Stafford and Ryan, see, I'm okay with that. If you told me I had to have Winston and Ryan or Winston and Fitzpatrick, then I'm really, I'm, I'm, I'm,

dancing on this risk line on both guys that I wouldn't feel comfortable about. It's not like I'm going to be able to go to the waiver wire and snag somebody viable. These guys are all going to be gone at the end of a two quarterback. I feel like, well, Stafford has a track record. Ryan, those guys are probably going to start 16 games. Right. And so if we ended up with Stafford and Ryan, I think I'd be happy that you guys push me to wait. Stafford and Ryan are the two guys that I prefer out of this list. Kirk Cousins would be next. So I would say we draft Matthew Stafford first.

All right, so let's do it. We drafted Stafford and Tanna Hill and Marietta went off the board. But Matt Ryan and Kirk Cousins are still there. Just to give you the other names, Golden Tate, Kelvin, Thomas Rawls in the sixth round of this draft. Who! Jeremy Macklin. That's good value. That's good value right there. On Rawls? Yeah, on him and Macon. I got offered a Thomas Rawls trade in our Keeper League the other day. Oh, why don't you tell the listeners what it was?

Please. They want to know. I was offered the 21st and 49th pick for Thomas Rawls. And that's a quick turn down. I said no. Yeah, that's a pretty easy turn down for me as well. Turn down from what? All right. Okay, so our second quarterback. I like how revealing things to the listener has become like, like there's no need. There's no, I guess it helps. I guess it helps. Yeah, let's just go with that. All right. Greg Olson's on the board. So, oh, you thinking about.

sad to be drafting Joe Flacco or Jay Cutler. I completely agree with that, which is why we have to take one of these guys. Now, you play the draft and you look at your position. You know, we were just a couple picks away from our next pick, but now we're, you know, we're 18 guys away from our next pick or however many it is. And so we've got to draft one of those guys. The question is Kirk Cousins or Matt Ryan. They're back to back in our rankings. They're in the same tier. I'm okay with either guy. I'm trying not to think of cousins like,

a risk because I don't think he's as much of an actual risk as he seems in my head. The way I look at a two-quarterback draft where you wait is these quarterbacks need to at least get you a... They can't get you these zero weeks. They can't get you these dead weeks. They need to get you a baseline with upside so that the rest of your lineup that you've capitalized on all those early picks can...

make up the points for you. The Gurley, McCoy, Green, and Evans. If you on a baseline, I believe that Kirk Cousins was the only quarterback to throw at least one touchdown in every single game last year. Yeah, but he was super hot and cold. He had terrible. He might have thrown... Just saying, you want a baseline. Well, the baseline is what Jason said, not what you're saying. A baseline is you don't get hot and cold games. It's not throwing one... A baseline is not one touchdown. That is more like the Teddy Bridgewater universe.

Like, I don't want the Teddy Bridgewater universe. Yeah, I think the baseline here would be Matt Ryan. I vote Matt Ryan as well. You know that he's going to play 16 games barring injury, whereas Kirk Cousins, I mean, I expect he will, but they still haven't signed him to a contract, and there's no movement in that negotiation. So you want to take the guy that's a little bit more sure in the way that we've drafted here. All right. So we took Matt Ryan by way of majority rules. And Mike.

I'm sorry. Kirk Cossons went two picks later. That's fine. I'm more sad of... Geo Bernard going off at the... Oh, that would have been. Ninth pick of the seventh round. I love Geo this year. With Fantasy Draft Wizard, you know, because we're going real quick, I would have loved to, at that spot, break down every single person's roster, see what the chances of a quarterback's falling through or not, because only two quarterbacks went in that huge run.

So if we were able to wait there, that would have been great. And then grabbed, if we had grabbed Fitzpatrick now and been able to take one of those other players, you know, in hindsight, I agree with you. Yeah, yeah, that's a very good point. And, you know, DeMarco Murray was on the board. I think he would have been very valuable at that point. And the last, the last couple guys that would have taken it were. Could have taken, too. Were Gio Bernard, Moncrief, and Ryan Matthews, all three guys who I would have loved to have taken there. But still on the board, we're looking at Duke Johnson.

PPR machine. Duke Johnson is still there, as well as a John Brown and Tyler Lockett. Those are guys who I'm considering. Let's review our lineup here just so that we know. So we've got the two quarterbacks filled with Matt Stafford and Matt Ryan. And then our two running backs, Todd Gurley, LaShawn McCoy, are two wide receivers, AJ Green, Mike Evans. That's a really solid team. I love it. And it's built in a way that we really take best available here.

You know, we don't need a wide receiver. We don't need a running back. Quarterback, if with the type of quarterbacks we have, we're going to want to draft at least a third quarterback so that we can, you know, play the matchups. So really, who's the best guy on the board? Well, let me tell the listeners who's on the board at running back other than Duke Johnson. There's Jonathan Stewart, Matt Jones, Jeremy Langford, Frank Gore, Melvin Gordon, T.J. Yeldin, Amir Abdullah. So you have a number of...

starters there that all have scars, I think, and I'll have some upside. Johnson is obviously the PPR option, but I'm still, you know, you have the Cleveland offensive change. Josh McCown, probably not the quarterback like he was during parts of last year. I'm not sure where I lean on this one. I really am not. And at wide receiver, Devante Parker, John Brown, Michael Crabtree, Tyler Lockett.

Kevin White is there. And you know what I do? When I'm in a draft, and these lulls, these happen, where you're looking at the board, like, I just don't know. I find the guy who I love, and I think has monster upside. And that, to me, would be Tyler Lockett. Interesting. It would not be Tyler Lockett for me. I know we just disagree a little bit on this. I think he is talented. I like the offense, but I don't think that he's going to produce the level that.

But I'm saying what do you think of that strategy? I agree with that strategy. I'm going for high upside here. I'm going for a guy. We're deep enough in the draft. We've got a solid enough roster. I'm going for a guy who could finish as a monster top end guy. I just don't believe that's lock. I think there's two guys on the board that could finish as a really, really top end guy at their position. And that would be the question marks of Matt Jones and Jeremy Langford. It's funny because I would say Melvin Gordon's in that category.

No, absolutely he is. He caught some passes last year. He should be the guy. It's a matter of basically we're picking our guy for upside here. It could be Lockett for upside. It could be Gordon. It could be Jones or Langford. I think that Jones is safe. Okay. Tell us what the consensus is. Our consensus rankings and it's not.

very close. I guess technically Langford is in the same tier, but Matt Jones is our 18th running back. He's a better pick here than. The only worry I have with Matt Jones at all, to be quite honest, at this point, if I'm drafting today, is Arian Foster. If Aaron Foster doesn't come, Matt Jones is almost a guaranteed lock for 250 carries by necessity. And catching passes. Before you click the draft button real quick, what are the tight ends that are available? That's a very good point.

Travis Kelsey, Delaney Walker, Kobe Fleener, Tyler Eifert. And Barnage. And Barnage. Okay. So are you willing to push that and take Matt Jones? I am just because I liked a lot of the guys you just named. I assume then Eric B. We are going to circle back very quickly. So I think we could get Matt Jones and I think we can end up with Kobe Fleener. I think we could do both of those. Beautiful for me. So let's go ahead and let's take Matt Jones for Mike. And then let's circle back around here and take Kobe Fleener.

We did it, America. He is still available. We got Kobe Fleener and Matt Jones with those two picks. Now you have a number. The tight-in run has begun. All the tight-ins just flew off the board after we took Kobe Fleener. You had Tyler Eifert, Ladarius Green, Gary Barnage, Antonio Gates.

Julius Thomas. Now, in that giant run of picks there, there was only one quarterback taken. So I think it's worth at least looking. But a lot of the guys that we wanted last round, so you know, you won a Tyler Lockett, Mike. Tyler Lockett's still on the board here. And at this point, two picks later, I think this is where he could be a value. Every team has a quarterback one and quarterback two at this point. Right. In the league. So there's nobody else that is searching for that quarterback two yet.

But the question, and when you're on the board at this point, the question is how many legitimate starting options are left? I missed what you were saying. Were you saying to take Ryan Fitzpatrick? I was saying to look at quarterbacks and see how many are left, just to know, okay, people aren't searching for that quarterback, but if there's only three or four starting quarterback options left, then we need to be aware of that. But I was saying that Tyler Lockett is still on the board here, which Mike wanted two picks ago.

Yeah, and so there's Lockett, there's Ryan Fitzpatrick, Alex Smith, Teddy Bridgewater, and RG3. So there's almost nobody. The way I play it is, I actually disagree. The way I play it is like a locket and I see if I can get Smith on the way back. I think Alex Smith is a great quarterback for your team. He is a guy that. Well, he qualified in the almost nobody. Alex Smith is a great pick. In the right matchups, Alex Smith produces. And I would say this. I would take Alex Smith.

over Locket here because there's very, very few options at quarterback. But if I look at the other wide receivers on the board, sure, I might like Lockett best, but which I don't actually out of these guys. Marvin Jones, Deshawn Jackson, Kevin White, Willie Sneed. So you guys would take Lockett goes there. You would take Alex Smith over Ryan Fitzpatrick, though. I would not. No, no, no. I would take Fitzpatrick. I think we'd take Fitzpatrick here and then.

take the best available wide receiver option. If this was a real life draft that I was doing today, I wouldn't take Fitzpatrick genuinely because he's a free agent. And it could be a waste of a pick. If we're going to play the game where it is a mock, I'm going to assume he's on the team. But the truth is...

The only reason he's here is because of that. Exactly right. So this, I think we have to take out. That leads me towards Lockett. No, but did you hear of the point? Yeah, yeah, yeah. If we lose Tyler Lockett, there's so many good options there. All right. So Alex Smith has been drafted. And for the listener, the reason. We did not lose Tyler Lockett. And so. Goodness. Now we get to draft him because Mike and I will.

majority rules you on Tyler Lockett. Yeah, you can make. So Alex Smith and Tyler Lockett off the board. So we have Matthew Stafford and Matt Ryan at quarterback, Todd Gurley, LaShawn McCoy, and Matt Jones at running back, AJ Green, Mike Evans, and Tyler Lockett, a wide receiver. Alex Smith is a backup quarterback and Kobe Fleener at tight end. You have to like what we have here. I love this roster. And I was going to speak to the Alex Smith.
