With your host, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright. Hey, everybody. Howdy? Hi. Hello. Greetings. Saluting. Welcome to thy podcast. Hold on Googling ways to say hello. Bonjour. Yep, that's the one. Welcome into the show, Andy, Mike, and Jason.

2:41 ↗

We're here. It's week eight. We've got a matchups episode. We have some boom boom on the show. And, you know, nothing better than some boom boom. All the news, you need to know about fantasy football. Judge Giamati is here. Man in the ship. Oh, you have a verdict for us or is this just, is that how you say hello? That's how I say hello. That's how the judge says hello. This is how judge says hello. Yes. It reminded me of Indiana Jones. This is how we say goodbye.

3:12 ↗

In Germany? No. All right. Come on, man. Was that the kiss? Yeah. Oh, yeah. We said this is how we say goodbye. And then the German smacks them in the face. Look, we're with you, Mike. We're just not as quick on the, like, recall. My entire memory banks are just. You have total recall. Pop culture references. That's all it is. Hey, you, what was it, the Philly, the Philadelphia phenomenon? That's right. Tony Danza. I watched a clip from that movie.

3:39 ↗

And Tony Danza is so small. He's so little. I mean, he's a teeny weeny man. Who do you got in a fight? Tony Danzer or Tom Cruise. Oh, give me Cruz. Yeah. He had to have, Cruz had to have picked up something from those Mission Impossible movies. There's one thing I'm always taking in a fight. It's crazy. Oh, maybe Tony Danza, old man strange. Oh, that's a good point. Maybe. From working in the garage. From kicking in the dump. Oh, welcome to the podcast.

4:08 ↗

uh mike you've been you've been really doing a great job on the show lately oh thanks so as a reward for our quick question today i'm going to give you the drop that you love so much all right all right we're going to play a game today these guys don't know what's going on but i uh this is very similar to jigsaw you're playing a game and you have no idea what's happening exactly so we are i hope the stakes are not playing a game and it's called the uh it's called andy's happy sad game okay oh

4:44 ↗

That sounds emotional. Do you want to play along with me? Yes. It's called Andy's Happy Sad Game. I thought, look, we're week eight. We're halfway through the year. I wanted to look at the ADP. And I want you to tell me, are you happy or sad with the player you got at the position you got him? All right. It is Andy's Happy Sad game. Number one was David Johnson. Oh, yeah. So you're happy or sad? You're sad. I think you're past the morning phase at this point. Yeah, you've moved on. But definitely sad. Okay.

5:14 ↗

Lev Bell at number two. Oh, you're very happy. Thrilled. Antonio Brown? Very, very happy. Super happy. Happy. Julio Jones was number four. You're sad right now. I think you are. You're sad, okay. I don't think you should be going forward. You think he's going to turn that frown upside down. That's exactly right. He's going to turn that frown upside down. A little melancholy, but okay. No infinite sadness. LaShawn McCoy, number five. Jason likes what I did there. I sure do. I think you're happy.

5:40 ↗

Oh, you got to be. Shady's been great, even without touchdowns. And then he finally came through with a dose. Well, he's getting a home stretch, too. So more on the way. Yeah. Devanta Freeman at number six. Oh, you got to be loving. Happy. Are you? Yeah. Yeah. Am I, Brooks, am I wrong? I have like a different, I feel like maybe you're okay with Freeman. Oh, I'd be very happy with Freeman on my team. Melvin Gordon at number seven. You're mostly happy. You're thrilled. You're mostly happy. You've, yes.

6:11 ↗

Also, if you're happy with Freeman, you have to be, I say, I agree with those. I mean, I, that's what it's more to Andy. Like, if you're happy with Gordon, you have to be happy with Freeman. Right. Freeman has only had one game where he has not been in the top 24 running backs. Twice has that happened for Melvin Gordon. However, Gordon's also had two weeks where he's the number one running back so far this year. Okay. Mike Evans, that number eight? It's going well. It's going to well. Happy.

6:40 ↗

Swimmingly. AJ Green at number nine. Hmm. Hmm. Yes. I think AJ Green owners. Did you just say, hmm? I said, hmm, yeah. So far on the year. How would you not be thrilled with AJ Green? I'm trying to remember. AJ Green is the fifth rank wide receiver right now. There you go. Well, he started the year. You know, the first two weeks were. Still had 10 points. And then week seven.

7:03 ↗

was bad. But yeah, he he had that stretch in the middle where he was on fire. You're going to be very happy. Top 10 three weeks in a row. How can you possibly be happy with Mike Evans? And not happy with AJ Green. You have made a strong point. Evans has been been much. He's worse than Green. Yeah, they're six and seven and points per game. All right. So they're both. All right. He's been one position worse.

7:27 ↗

Perception is reality. The reason I pull, I even wanted to play this game. You know what it is. You know what it is for AJ Green? It's just, it's the Andy Dalton disappointment seeping in. Okay. While James is over here throwing for 300 a game. It's funny, though, because I have AJ Green. I'm so happy with AJ Green. You guys don't have them on your team. Therefore, you have a less biased view, and you see the AJ Green. You see the offensive struggles. And that's why you pulled back a little bit, even though he's ahead of Evans.

7:56 ↗

The reason I even pulled these up, I just was curious how many busts were in this first 20 through the year. Maybe we got one now. Number 10 was DeMarco Murray. Happy sad. You're not happy. You're not happy. You're not happy about it. You were. I love Michael Keaton. Whoa, man. Oh, by the way. We are in sync. My son yesterday stayed home sick. We talked about this on the show. He asked to rent Spider-Man Homecoming. Ooh.

8:22 ↗

A surprising amount of casual profanity in that movie. You realize it's a PG-13. I didn't. And you realize all the Marvel movies are PG-13. But my kids, well, Nathan specifically, my youngest, the sick one, saw Michael Keaton for the first time. Oh, yes. I still haven't seen it. It's a good movie. I've been waiting for the rental, the digital rental, but I think it's available. Congratulations for him. Also, a point of clarification on something we said.

8:51 ↗

Nathan is not your youngest child. No, the youngest son. Oh, is that what you said? Youngest son. I really was hoping to get him on not knowing the age of his children. That would have felt real good. That would have felt real good for the youngest. Yeah. I'm sorry, we said, Jordi, you're sad. J. Ajai at 12. You're sad. Yes, for sure. Ezekiel Elliott at 13. You're happy. You've got to be more than thrilled. You got him at 13. Jordan Howard? 14. Oh, it's great. Happy times? Happy.

9:21 ↗

What about Michael Thomas at 15? Wide receiver six off the board. He has got to be kind of in the middle. Yeah. Yeah. You're neutral. Okay. You're just kind of there existing. Your highs are low. Your lows are high. What? What does that mean? Meaning like, you know, when you're, you know, your highs. You know, you know, it's not the best explanation for something. I don't think there needs this like crazy explanation. Your highs are lower than like.

9:52 ↗

When you're peaking and you're crazy excited, your lows are higher than infinite sadness. Your highs are low. Are we, we're just going to go circle back to that movie over and over again? I guess. We got it, Jason. We totally know what you're talking about. Yeah. Moving on. The people are with me. Todd Gurley at 16. Ecstatic. Oh, yeah. Does Ryan at 17? Happy. I would say, yeah. You got players behind him that went. Brandon Cook. Yeah, you're happy. Yeah, you're happy. Yeah, you're happy if you got that. Gronk at 18. You're happy. Happy.

10:22 ↗

Brady at 19. Happy. Brandon Cooks at 20. Happy. Sounds like the first 20 players have been relatively. Not too bad. Much better than in most years where you've got, you know, half of the first round being definite busts. Okay. Well, that's the end of Andy's happy, sad game. Hope you enjoyed it.

10:42 ↗

What a ride. What a ride that was. My highs were low and my lows were high. You can find us over on YouTube. Don't miss out on the highs and the lows over on YouTube. Got the Halloween show coming up. We have something special planned. On Twitter, we're available. At the FF Ballers. I'm at Andy Holloway. Jason, you can follow him at Jason FFL. Mike is at FF Hitman. The website's the Fantasy Footballers.com. And we always appreciate your iTunes reviews.

11:11 ↗

um what i i'll i'll go ahead and do one of these this is a little improv but uh oh well i won't make it an official because jason i don't know if jason knows where it is but i wanted to read a very concise review from a listener oh he said triple threat and he said these guys create a perfect balance of tattoos grammatically challenged dialogue and responsible grown-up behavior who was that this was uh crazy your face from canada

11:39 ↗

Bonjour, crazy, your face. Well done. Yeah, I thought that was funny. So we always appreciate the reviews to help the show out on iTunes. Let's get into the news. News and notes from around the league. The bears. Oh, the bears have acquired Dantrell Inman from the Chargers. Oh, Jay Gros is very happy. In exchange for a conditional 2018 seventh round pick. And.

12:11 ↗

This makes sense. Mike Williams, you're back, Dantrell-Inman, you're too low on the depth chart for your talent level. Let's go to a team where you can rise up that depth chart. You are immediately the best wide receiver there. I mean, maybe Kendall Wright. No, no, no. Inman's better than right, for sure. So then you're the best. You're the best. Congratulations.

12:35 ↗

Martavis Bryant said Mike Tomlin told him he'll be inactive for Sunday's game against the Lions. Does this make Juju streamable option? Certainly a streamable option, not a, I don't love. Not an exciting option. Yeah, I don't love it. But the reason was social media. Yeah. If you've been following the news, Martavis Bryant got a little, he unleashed on social media, which is not the wisest move as a public figure. And it has cost him.

13:05 ↗

greatly he'll miss this week there was news of he was demoted to the scout team to the practice team who who knows what the future has for martavis a lot of people wondering you know should i keep him trade him cut him we've talked about it but if you haven't heard i he is 100% a cut yeah you're wasting your time not cutting him um j cutler

13:31 ↗

Adam Schefter said he is expected to be available in week nine against the Raiders. It's a very careful choice of words here. Expected to be available? Yeah. That doesn't say expected to start. Oh. No, he will. That's a good point. He's expected to be available to play. Well, they have the game tonight and then they have the long, the long wait to week nine. So we'll see. We talked yesterday. We kind of expect Matt Moore to play. I think it depends on what Matt Moore does tonight. If he's.
