Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright. Things are getting spooky. It's almost Halloween. We have to do something. Halloween. I like it. That was all I got. Was that the official voice of the Reaper? Could you do that for me? Yes, that is the...

2:03 ↗

Ian Foster, you coming with me. He turned into a really old man. Well, you know, he's been around a long time, Mike. It's a very fine line between old man and Grim Reaper. They're very narrow. Like Jason said, he's been around a while. Your voice box. Forever. All right, welcome to the fantasy footballers podcast. We're back again. We've got a great show for you today. We have Christopher Harris.

This is where you can go and submit a fantasy football question to us for the mailbag show, as well as anything you got going on during the week, including your urgent trade questions. We can help you out. Let me ask you guys this before we get into the mailbag. Quick question for the day.

3:28 ↗

And this is a good one because we need to talk about it. Having only passed for more than 300 yards once this season, is Matt Ryan still a quarterback one? How confident are you in starting Matt Ryan? Because this is the Devante Freeman show. You know, I believe right now Matt Ryan is number 12. If you're in a six point per passing league, he is number 12. Six points per pass?

3:53 ↗

See, six points for every pass. You don't even have to complete it. You just take the pass. All right. Which in our league is slightly, by slightly, I mean, point three points ahead of Alex Smith. So here's what I see Matt Ryan as. Matt Ryan is a very, very capable streaming.

4:18 ↗

option. He is not a guy that week-in, week-out is going to be someone you want to start. However, you drafted him to be a starter week-in, week-out. Most people who have him play him week-in, week-out as a starter, and they're afraid to stream someone like a Ryan-Tanahill ahead of Matt Ryan based on matchups. But I say, come-wash! I've got a wild theory on Matt Ryan. Normally, with streamers, you say things like this. I believe that he's start-worthy in the right matchup, right?

4:47 ↗

Mm-hmm. Okay. I do not have that philosophy with Matt Ryan. I think it is almost the opposite with Matt Ryan. When they have a matchup like this past week with Tennessee or upcoming here with Tampa Bay that Devante Freeman can have success in, I think you're going to see a different Matt Ryan. I almost think Matt Ryan is a better streaming play in a game that's going to be...

5:08 ↗

what we perceive to be hyper-competitive and they're going to have to lean on him, not in necessarily garbage time, but just in a situation, okay, we need a score. Let's go down the field. Let's get Julio Jones the ball. We would have expected the moon against Tennessee, and we got, you know, Pluto or something. What I will say is he's been very consistent with his, especially with his yardage. He's essentially throwing for, he's over 250 a game.

5:38 ↗

which is, that's good. That's good enough for me as far as quarterback production. He's not getting the multi-touchdowns the game against Washington. He had no touchdowns and two picks. The interceptions are kind of concerning at this point. Some goal line interceptions as well. And I know Ryan's been, he's been one to, he throws them on occasion, but he already has six on the year and two fumbles. It's just.

6:04 ↗

The turnovers are what is really killing Matt Ryan. Let me ask you guys this before we move on to our mailbag section. Put this in perspective for us. This week, Matt Ryan against Tampa or Ryan Tannahill against New England? That's a good question. I think I would take Matt Ryan against Tampa. Okay. Yeah, I would, Matt Ryan is at home. Where is the Patriot game? I've got another one for you. The Patriot games in Miami, by the way.

6:33 ↗

Okay, at home. I'm still going to go with me. Oh, am I wrong about that? No, it's in Foxborough. I am wrong about that. Yeah, it's in Foxborough. That makes it a little bit easier. Matt Ryan. Matt Ryan against Tampa Bay or Matthew Stafford against the Chiefs. Ooh, I like that one. In London. In London. Oh, is that a London game? It is. A kid? Yeah.

6:54 ↗

Come on. We're over in London every week, baby. You know, you've got some coaching changes, which normally gives you a little bit of a shot of adrenaline. You've got a terrible secondary. I would take Matthew Stafford in that game. I'd still take Matt Ryan. Give me Stafford. You guys want to water about that one? Really? Me and you? Oh, a two-fer? Yeah. Well, because me and you were together on Stafford? You want to get nuts? Let's get nuts. Let's get nuts. Yes. Now that's...

7:22 ↗

Waterbed. That's not quite the Bermuda Triangle because we would need three players to have done that. Yeah. I'm just throwing that out there. Nobody even knows what I'm talking about. All right.

7:32 ↗

9:50 ↗

recommend his show very highly. And so today we're going to have Chris on and we're going to go through some mailbag questions from the Foot Clan. We're going to bring Chris in and get his opinion on some of these. So let's go ahead and kick it off. You guys ready? Yes. Do it. All right. All right. This is a good one. Zach from Minnesota wants to know. He said he picked up Big Ben off the waiver wire.

10:13 ↗

Well, that's nice. And someone dropped him during a bye week. Now, if he's ready to go in week eight, now we know he's ready to go in week eight, do you start him against Cincinnati or do you start Tanna Hill against New England? This is for me? Sure, we'll pick it to you first and then we'll jump in. You're lobbing me a softball. There you go. I know. We'll start that way. That is not a problem. Big Ben should be back on the field. I don't care if he's got one knee. As long as he's active, he's your guy. You know, you're not going to know.

10:42 ↗

perfect information before Tanna Hill on Thursday. I have enough faith that Big Ben will play. It was close enough to playing this past week. And even if he can't go, I have a suspicion that you'll be able to get the Tanna Hill versus the Patriots equivalent off the waiver wire. Fair enough. Do you guys agree? You completely agree. We've been dying for Big Ben to get back out there. What was nice to see was we actually got some sweet Antonio fantasy action this weekend.

11:11 ↗

from Landry Jones so that the excitement for me is building for Big Ben in that coming off of just seeing how the team is playing getting Big Ben in there that the Steelers are going to be just

11:23 ↗

Back to nastiness. And they are at home against Cincinnati. Now, a follow-up, Ryan wanted to know Drew Breeze or Big Ben. We're sticking Big Ben, right? Personally, I think this question is easier. Yeah. So really, Chris, what do you think if you had to play Drew Breeze or Ryan Tannahill this week? I think that's a better question to me. Yeah, you know, it is a good question, and I haven't fully formulated my ranks. They're still percolating in my lower intestine, I suppose.

11:53 ↗

And, you know, I think I'm still going to say Breeze, but I also acknowledge that I might change my mind. It's not, I'm not trying to say that I think the Patriots defense is all that good. In fact, we saw jet receivers really running free in that game. But, you know, there's a little Belichick trust there that, you know, Belichick against a West Coast offense, I know exactly what he's going to do. It's play everybody tight.
