Visit snhu.edu slash footballers. This episode is brought to you by State Farm. Every football fan is different. Some won't wash their lucky mustard-stained jersey until the season's over. Some insist they can't sit down on third downs and some pick their favorite team because, I don't know, just like football fandom, nobody's life is exactly the same. And that's why State Farm

gets to know you not as a policy number, but as an actual person. So they can help personalize a coverage plan that's just for you. Whether it's game day or just another Tuesday, State Farm has you covered. This is Al-Lezard, aka the Lizard King, wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers, and you're listening to Fantasy Footballers Podcast. The Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your host, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.

Welcome in. Welcome in indeed. Welcome back. Welcome. The Fantasy Footballers podcast Thursday, May 21st. Back in studio today. What? I can see both of you. And it's quite the picture. I'll be honest with you. Smell both ears. Mike's got the hat on.

2:11 ↗

Well, like I still haven't gotten a haircut. I don't know what I'm going to get to the barber. I don't know what you're allowed to do right now. Can you get a haircut? I think you can legally get a haircut in Arizona now. You are, the salons are open. I ain't going. Yeah. No, I'm fine with a hat for a little bit. Yeah. No, I, it's fine. It's fine. It's good. I'm excited to be back in the studio with you guys. We came in to film some videos for.

2:39 ↗

The Ultimate Draft Kit. Got the 100 plus player profile videos. By the way, 11 days away until the Ultimate Draft Kit is released. So if you want the lowest price before June 1st, now is the time to get at Ultimate DraftKit.com. You'll get instant access to dynasty rookie rankings. But we were in here filming some videos, some wide receiver profile videos. We said, hey, let's do a show in the studio. Now, no promises that we're back permanently, but all of our families, I know we've been.

3:09 ↗

We've been staying safe. So we're, we came in today. We're doing the show and it feels great. It is, it is a real treat to be here under the bright lights of the studio. This is a lot brighter than my room. You're, you're both at a much higher resolution than I remember you. Also, far less sweaty over on my side of the desk. I've been dealing with unbelievable sweat problems.

3:35 ↗

in my office. I don't know what it is. But it's more of a, it's really all right, it's all right side. Yeah, the right side of my right armpit. By the end of the show, I could ring it out. The left side, you know, it's a little damp, but I don't know what's going on up in that room. I need to have it tested for ghosts. I mean, it's been a couple of months. You really haven't been able to engineer yourself a right pit solution? I do. I have a fan. Okay.

3:59 ↗

You don't have enough. Wait, you have a fan on your right side. There is a desktop fan that is pointed precise with precision right at the armpit. Are you going to have to hold the right arm up during the whole show? That might be the solution. Mike, you might have to go hands up. All right. Well, next show. I'll just put a roller coaster on my green screen. There you go. That's right.

4:25 ↗

But I'm very excited to be here with you. We have Bicel on the show today. Some interesting news to talk about, some mailbag. It's going to be a fun episode of the show. You can follow us on YouTube. You can see us back in studio, YouTube.com slash the fantasy footballers. Subscribe, click the bell. You can kick it too. You can check out Mike's totally non-sweedy pits on the YouTube. So they're still dry, man. Oh, man. Spectacular. Yeah, we're all right.

4:51 ↗

Twitter at the FF Ballers. Appreciate everybody subscribing, reviewing, listening on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, ad-free on Citger Premium. Wherever you're listening, excited to be with you. Jason, your pits are in good shape. Yeah, no, I'm doing real well. Okay, let's do some buy-sell. Buy or sell, presented by pristine auction. We were going to do some buy-sell, but I'm going to detour real quick. Uh-oh. Just because it is wonderful to also see both of our producers here in studio. Al Borland, Judge Giamati,

5:29 ↗

tucked away across the room. But thank you both for all of the legwork that you've done over the last two months as we've been, you know, juggling quarantine and at home and different internets, router restarts and low-resolution mic, robot voices. And you have made it all spectacular. And I can tell you, speaking on behalf of the Foot Clan this time, that they are so thankful for that because as far as they know, the podcast listeners,

5:57 ↗

I don't know that they can tell that there's been a difference. And that's all on you guys. So thank you very much. It's amazing because I know some, you know, there are major, major companies that, you know, make podcasts in studio all around the world that because of this time, you go and you listen to those and they sound like they're all at home. It doesn't sound the same because it's not the same. And you guys have made us sound great. No, I have an email in my inbox right now that's like, can you help me? Help us. Help us.

6:27 ↗

Get to the sound quality that you got. They're our producers. They're ours. If you buy or sell, I'm buying both of them. That's all I'm saying. What could we fetch on the open market? That's... For one of them? You like sell one? Yeah. We got two? Go to eBay.com slash fantasy footballers. If you put them both up for bid and we just take whoever sells for most, that's kind of the better thing for our economy here. All right. My wheels are turning. This went from thank you to we're selling you on the open market really quickly.

6:55 ↗

Well, I refuse to work for anyone else. Oh, a little Jordan situation. Dang, lowering the salary. Lowering the salary. All right. Buy sell. We're looking at, uh, looks like Brooks said in over under a five and a half. We're looking at number of players to catch double digit touchdowns in 2020. Because last year we only had three players in the NFL with, uh, double digit receiving touchdowns. It was Mark Andrews Cooper Cup, Kenny Galladay.

7:25 ↗

But back in 2018, we had nine of them. Antonio Brown, Devante Adams, Ebron, Tyreek, Hopkins, Kelsey, Ridley, Lockett, Mike Williams. Oh, Mike Williams, remember that? Yeah, I do. It's two years ago. So over under five and a half. You guys remember this thing two years ago? I guess I'll just sell it. I think I'll take the under. I don't know if I even can apply like.

7:52 ↗

strong logic to my answer here. I feel like I'm just guessing, but I would say about, I think five players. We'll do it. So here's what's interesting. Obviously, we stat out everybody for the ultimate draft kit. And when we're studying these out, we are trying. I guess I could look at that. Yeah, you could look at that. Let's see if I'm a by yourself. You know, the reality is we stat out things that are probable, not, you know, predicting.

8:14 ↗

All the outliers that could happen are not in your ranking. I don't have anybody out there with 15 receiving touchdowns because that happens and that could very well happen this year, but that's not what I'm going to project. Yeah, but just think of the glory if you made that call. I have, if you picked the guy with 15. I have two players who are double-digit touchdowns according to my rankings. Only two. But I have six players who are at nine. So I am very, very close, but I'm going to stick with my rankings.

8:44 ↗

I will take the under. My two are Tyreek Hill and Devante Adams. I have two as well. It's Amari Cooper and Tyreek Hill. Oh. But I have Adams, Cup, Ghaladay, and Andrews all at nine. And I've got Michael Thomas Cup, Gawaday, Mark Heath Brown, Jared Cook, and Travis Kelsey at nine.

9:02 ↗

All right. You and Hollywood this year. You may have to, you know, step up your game there. That's going to be my guy that Hollywood. It's going to get out of control. This over under, it tried to catch me slipping. Try it. Yeah. But I have five. I have projected out five players who I believe will hit the double-digit targets. And it's actually a, I'm calling for a repeat of the same three guys from last year, but I will add in Devante Adams and Adam Thielen. Oh, wow.

9:30 ↗

I got Adam Thielen down for 10 touchdowns. So I'm selling because I had five. If you're curious, in 2017, it was three. So back down to three, five in 2016, but 13 players in 2015. It was a good year. Ted Ginn was one of them. Yeah. Hey, Jay, you remember that? Yes, I do. It's a little further back, but.

9:57 ↗

That was buy or sell brought to you by pristine auction. Pristine auction.com. Use the code ballers. Ballers. And get a $10 credit. Dollars. Don't use ballers. And don't get a $10 credit. That's true. That is an option. But it's a dumb one. I don't know why you would do that. It's a dumb option. Stupid. Let's get into some news. News and notes from around the league. All right. We've talked about the Seahawks backfield. Talked about Chris Carson recently. A lot of risk.

10:32 ↗

It seems. My guy last year, Chris Carson, really strong start, double some fumbles, still helped a lot of people. I'm not as confident that he'll be the guy this year. There had been Marshawn Lynch rumors, and now the Seahawks have made an offer to Devont to Freeman. Now, he turned it down. But according to Adam Kaplan, they extended the offer because they don't think Rashad Penny will be ready for week one. Freeman is 28, but I think we all agree.

11:04 ↗

has lost the step at least. It looks like that way for the past year and a half. How does Freeman have the gall the turndown offers right now? Carlos Hyde did that. I mean, Carlos Hyde, you know, you believe that you are what you are and you only got a small window and sometimes. What he's betting on is the situation where someone gets hurt in training camp. Because it's honestly, that's a good bet. It happens every single year. But will a.

11:31 ↗

Will a running back position of note open up that they're willing to pay him? That would surprise me. If I were Freeman, I mean, I guess I have no idea what the contract is, so I won't even comment on it. But this news coming out, Seattle trying to go get Devonza Freeman. That's the important thing for fantasy. This is why right now Chris Carson is so high in my rankings. This is why I have him for 300 rushing attention. Because they're trying to find another backup. Because there aren't other people there.

11:59 ↗

That's the question is, if they signed Freeman. If Freeman relents in a month and goes, oh, wow, my market is what everybody's been telling me. Chris Carson. That's called the Davian Clowny problem. But what happened? Does he hurt your view of Chris Carson very much? Because it's not a majorly. Majorly. It would not affect me very much at all. Here's why it's a major change to me. Because the reason that I have Chris Carson with 300 carries is.

12:27 ↗

almost solely because the backfield is an injured Richard Richard, Richard, Chris Carson. Dallas. Well, Chris Carson should be back in plenty of time before the first week. His timeline was fine. I heard the word should. Well, I mean, I don't know the future if he gets injured. But the question is, it's a variable word. It's not a Chris Carson is ready for week one. It's,

12:53 ↗

He's supposed to be ready. It's like Seattle needs to get people in the room. Seattle has said that he'll be back and there's no signs that he won't be. But he had 278 carries last year. Penny had 65. Homer had 18. This was all Carson last year. Yes. So I don't know what Freeman represents depth-wise. I don't know if that is a bridge to Penny as the backup. If that impacts you very much, if Penny's supposed to play this very small role.

13:21 ↗

then Freeman plays a small role for a few weeks, and it shouldn't affect Carson. If they are actually trying to get Marshaun Lynch back on the team, even though I think Freeman has lost a step. At this point, Freeman would be better for the team than Marshawn would be. Okay. The 49ers, Rahim Moster, a little bit of a hype train here, quote, put on some more muscle in order to shoulder a 200-carry workload this season. I am...

13:49 ↗

very and have been very excited about Rahim Moster's potential this upcoming season. They're such a good running team. I realize that we don't know how that carry breakdown. We don't know whether McKinnon will be okay for some role. And we don't know whether it'll be a Coleman week or a Mosterd week. But I'm trusting the film. And the film tells me Rehiel Moster is their best running back. He was 5.6 yards per carry.
