I am glossing over you. It is one of my joys in life. I'm going to ask him about Fred Jackson, see if he really is the death chart assassin. Spoiler alert, yes. Yeah, well, we'll see. So you guys ready to go? You want to answer some listener questions? I got a quick question for you today. All right. Shoot. Who would you start at these three guys? Devante Adams, Stevie Johnson, or T.Y. Hilton? Week one? Devante Adams or T.Y. Hilton.

And I heard of Stevie Johnson in there. He'd get cut out of the equation? Yeah, he did. I was going to go stevie. This is a question that I just got. So I'm going to make it our quick question of the day. T.Y. Hilton or Devante Adams? It's a really legitimate question because Hilton is, I think, too esteemed in the fantasy community. I'm going to go Hilton. Okay. Yeah, no, I like Hilton. I think that he's matchup proof for now. And we don't know yet what we've got in Devante Adams. So I go T. Yilton.

I think that's fine. I probably would go Hilton, too. I just think he has, he's had some big games. He's got a Deshawn Jackson aspect to him, but people think of him as a guaranteed bona fide tier one, do they not? Yeah, I think that's the common throw. I think his floor is a lot higher than Deshaun Jackson, and I'm going to go with the unknown Devante Adams, who is playing the Chicago Bears, whose defense was highly suspect, highly suspectable for fantasy points. Wow, you are jacked up.

You're very excited. What did you call Chris Harris? PFF. Podcast for us forever. Podcast for us forever. All right, so we're going to skip the news section today and just go into listener questions. We want to get through as many as we can today. And so we'll catch you up on all the news a little bit tomorrow. So, first question for you guys. This one comes in from Garrett. Wait, whoa. What? Where's the drop? I was warming up. Oh, you're right, dude. I'm not used to it at the beginning. Me, me, me.

Hey, I hear Joyc coming. These guys were tormenting me all pre-show, which is just crazy. I can't wait to watch Joyc Bell.

Week one. I am salivating to see because one of us is essentially going to punch the other one metaphorically in the mouth. It's great because you just already kind of punched yourself in the mouth because you just openly admitted something you had argued against for a while that he would play week one. I have never once argued that he's going to play week one. I've argued that he's going to play well week one. He is not. You know what I haven't heard in a while? You know what sound I haven't heard in a while? I haven't heard any Abdullah Express coming into the station in a while.

Where's the Blue Express bin? It's here. It's already arrived. We don't need to hear it pull up into the station. ADP's already too high. We don't need to start the show so contentious. Let's go and talk to Garrett here. Garrett in Temecula, California. Two questions. Should he drop Delaney Walker for Zach Ertz? We'll answer that one real quick. Nope. Sorry, I answered it.

For me, it depends. And he's out. Well, right. But it depends on your bench. If you've got another tight end and he's your second guy on your bench, then yeah, I would rather have Ertz. If he's your second guy, you should drop Delaney Walker and not signed up. That's an option. I'm not going to carry two tight ends. And until I know for sure that Zach Ertz is going to suit up, you just can't hold on to him. All right. So then who does he start at wide receiver? Mike Evans, DeAndre Hopkins, or Brandon Marshall? Evans Hopkins Marshall? Yep.

uh let's the evans is still dealing with the the injury that we haven't really heard an update on that we don't know 100% of his health so i would start it with hopkins i would as well all right let's talk to let's answer this one here josh in san francisco i can keep two of the following players at these prices okay jeremy hill for seven bucks it's good uh jordan matthews for four

Des Bryant for 47, T.Y. Hilton for 17, and Travis Kelsey for $1. It is a PPRly. So Kelsey is the wild card here because it was already, it was Jeremy Hill and Jordan Matthews automatically for me because the upside is there for them to finish as ones in their respective positions. How are you feeling about Jeremy Hill right now? Feel great. Still feel just fine with it? Feel great. Man, those third downs really boosted my hope for him.

I would have liked to see the booth reviewer people be accurate in the Cincinnati game and give him that touchdown. But I still feel the work share splitting up there in Cincinnati seems to be going heavily Jeremy Hill. That's the question, right? No one's questioning Jeremy Hill's talent. It's will he be on the field? I think the answer is yes. So.

Let's work through these guys. Are you going, I'm keeping Hill for $7. Then it's Jordan Matthews versus Kelsey. I keep Matthews for four. I do. Absolutely. I do too. And here's why. In an auction draft, the market changes as you draft. And I've seen a couple auction mocks recently where you can get either Olson or Kelsey.

for like 10 bucks. And most of the time they're going for like 20. So it really does depend on how the market fleshes out. But you're never going to get Jordan Matthews for that. I agree. I'm going Matthews. And the reason is Olson, where I still want Kelsey. I still want Zeus as my tied end. But Olson has taken a bump up as we saw with the 5,000 targets in limited time on that.

All right. Let's go ahead and answer this one here. It comes in from James in Houston. And this question fits what's going on in the ADP boards right now, because we've been talking about this. This is who do you start, Doug Martin or Jonathan Stewart, okay? But let me give you some context here. This is...

We're talking week one or just... We are talking week one, so I'll give you their matchups. But right now, we said Doug Martin has passed Jonathan Stewart in ADP. Correct. Which... For all of us, we think, is kind of crazy, right? Yeah. But here's why, okay? Here's why he said he's leaning Martin because of how well he's done in this preseason, even though he's burned him before. Okay. He said, Stuart seems a little safer. So this is what's going through people's minds right now. So the Buccaneers... I'm glad this question is being asked because we need to...

speak to this. So the Buccaneers in week one are playing the Titans, okay? And Carolina. Yeah, but you've got the Jaguars for Carolina. That's what I was going to say. Carolina is playing the Jaguars. So who do you start in that situation? I know we're a little ways out, but this is about when you're thinking. I think the defensive matchups for both of those guys, it leans to the Titans for me, but because they're so close together.

I'm going to take the guy who I think is the better running back, and that's Jonathan Stewart. You spoke the words out of my head. Thank you. So Jonathan Stewart is definitely, I think Jonathan Stewart is being a little undervalued recently. Recently, I've seen him dropping to where you can get him, and what is the potential upside of Jonathan Stewart? The upside of Jonathan Stewart to me is an RB1. Health?

Upside. Health is an upside, right? That would be the upside of it. He's healthy. And the questions I've, when I get them of, why are you so high on Jonathan Stewart? And I'm like, look at the last four games. And then they say, well, that's a small sample size. Yeah. But that's when DeAngel Williams was gone. Yeah, that's when Jonathan Stewart became the main running back, kind of like this year where he's the main running back. He's all of a sudden becoming one of the better values in the draft. So.

If you haven't drafted yet, keep your eye on them. Okay, so speaking of DeAngelo Williams, this question ties into it. There are a lot of people out there right now who are going to be without Leveon Bell in weeks one and two. And if you are without him, you're lucky because then you have Levy on Bell. So Tim in Austin wants to know he's in a 10-team standard. He has DeAngelo Williams. So he has the handcuff for Bell. His other running backs are also Frank Gore, Andre Ellington, and Justin Forsett.

So week one, who does he roll out there? I think that one kind of jumps off the page to me. It's not Diangelo Williams. So, okay, so he's saying a pick two guys? He also has Deshaun Jackson in his flex right now. Take Deshaun Jackson out of your flex. Well, you can consider, basically he has Gore, Ellington, Forset, are those his three players? So the question is really what it comes down to, because I think we're in complete agreement that Forset and Gore.

are in your lineup. So it's a question of... Ellington or D. Jackson in a flex position? Ellington versus D. Jackson in the flex. I prefer... I think both of these guys are boom. Both of these guys are bust. I prefer a guy that I know is going to get the ball in the running back position. So I would go Ellington. I completely agree. And you want to talk about a guy who was saying, oh, Doug Martin looks very good in preseason. Allington has looked great in preseason. Yeah.

And he catches passes, so he gives you a PPR value. We don't know what the workload split is going to be still to this point. David Johnson didn't close the gap. Who? David Johnson? I apologize. Thank you. He didn't close the gap against the Raiders, although he had a spectacular performance through the air. And the reports are now that Chris Johnson is going to play this week. Week 4.

So if Chris Johnson's playing week four, Chris Johnson's playing for his Job. And he's going to look good because he's playing against a bunch of people that are about to get cut because it's week four in the preseason. But my point in saying that is Chris Johnson could easily get cut and that'll clear up this system. We know that it's Ellington and David Johnson. But at least to start the year, Ellington is going to get his probably close to 20 touches a game. All right. Let's go ahead and this is a question I wanted to ask.
