Alvin Camara remains sidelined at Thursday's practice. I've heard conflicting reports, but most of them pessimistic about his availability for this week. Is that what you guys are hearing? That's what I'm hearing as well. I would be planning to be without him. Chris Godwin looks like a game time decision for head coach Bruce Ariens and the Buccaneers will practice Friday, or at least that's what Bruce Ariens is hoping for. Brooks, I'm guessing we'll have some information on that by the end of the show based on the...

150 passagesfact that they're in Tampa. So let me know if you hear. You know, they could be without Godwin, Antonio Brown, Scotty Miller, Rob Gruncowski. I have pivoted back to Josh Allen in my Alan Brady decision making here. So, you know, you want all the weapons available for the highest ceiling, but Brady should be able to get enough done against a bad Washington secondary. I agree.
But you're going to have to go to the wire with Chris Godwin. You better have a pivot option ready. James Robinson returned to a limited practice on Thursday, running back for the Jags. Julio added to the injury report again. Yeah, and the way it was reported, there was a video of him running a route in the open part of practice for the media. And by he doesn't catch the ball, he visibly looks like, oh, I tweak something because he's like upset. And then they didn't see Julio.
For the remainder of the time of practice. He won't be there this week. And at this point, tell me if I'm being too overreactive, but I feel like you can cut Julio and move on. Because when you keep reaggravating the same injury, you either need a ton of time to heal, in which case you're not playing football, or when you're out there, you're untrustworthy.
from a physical standpoint, and you could start him. Julio was my start of the week this week. I loved. He looked good last week. He came out of the game uninjured, ready to go. Here's Julio Jones. Let's go. And he re-agravated it again at his age. I just feel like you cannot put your trust. So obviously, not my start of the week anymore. And I was sad because he was in my DFS lineup as well.
I believe this is the game that I picked the upset, and it's feeling even stronger now. Like, you're going to have to move this entire offense with Adrian Peterson and A.J. Brown. Yep. I mean, they may find a way. Maybe they make two defensive touchdowns again. But, like, we didn't really see the offense have a lot of success in the last game. We saw the defense give them a short field, a pick six, and then they just wasted the clock and held on. So it's going to be a very trying week for them, and we'll see if Tana Hill can figure it out with the other options.
Kyler didn't practice. Hopkins didn't practice. Ron Dale Moore didn't practice with a concussion. But AJ Green returned to practice. You know, Kyler early in the week, a lot of optimism, I don't think he's going to play in this game. I don't think that the cost benefit for the Cardinals is there. They're at home. PJ Walker, Colt McCoy got it done. I heard some interviews this morning. You know, it was very maybe, maybe not that he'll be back out there. I think you're going to have Colt McCoy.
AJ Green, Christian Kirk, James Connor. But we'll let you know. I mean, if Kyler's active, you're just putting him back in, right? I would, yes. Clyde Edwards Aller looked good. Sorry, let me rephrase. Quote, looked great at practice on Wednesday. And that was from there, the OC. So maybe Edwards Aller is back this week. I would imagine he is, yeah. Zach Moss participated on Thursday in a non-contact jersey. That means he should.
He could. He should be, what I would say, he should be in pads and has to get through a contact practice first before he can be cleared. Gotcha. So you've got to do one non-contact and one contact. Speaking of concussions, Ramandre Stevenson expected to practice today. This was kind of the final straw for him being available in this game. So practicing today means that there is a chance Remandre gets out there. It also means that Damien Harris probably won't.
Yeah, hopefully you still have your flow chart so you can make your Patriots running back decision. It's really hard because I don't know if the flow chart, it gets a little blurry for me. I thought the flow chart said if Damien's out, you just play Ramandre. But I'm not sure that that's the better decision than Brandon Bolden, who had 10 touches last week in a game where they both played. And because there's been a game where we thought Romandri would be out there and then he's inactive and the practice and the trust.
Are you confident 100% that Remandre is a better play than Bolden? The flow chart is in pencil. Yeah, I mean, I'm not... I'm not... I'm not confident that Remandre Stevenson is the better play than Bolden because I'm not confident that if he clears concussion protocol, he'll be active. Bill Belichick does what he won't. But even if he's active. I am confident that Ramandre Stevenson is the better player than Bolden. I am very confident that if...
Both Ramandre Stevenson and Bolden get 15 touches. If either one got them, Ramandre Stevenson would be the better fantasy option. He's looked outstanding on his touches. It's just a matter of whether he'll get the work, and that's where my confidence wanes. You also have Donovan People's Jones, not practicing, non-injury related, though. T.Y. Hilton logged a full practice. He will be back. I mean, T.Y. is going to be back out on the field, and Jim Michael Hastie did not practice.
On Thursday. So Jeff Wilson could get an opportunity in this game, and we'll get an opportunity to see if he looks recovered and has the same juice that he's had in previous years. what to tilt about, what decisions to make, what the rest of the flow chart looks like for the Patriots backfield. I feel like the Patriots backfield flow chart is a flow chart that doesn't have the final level. Like it gets you like two levels in and then you're like, wait, what's the next step? And then it just says, it's up to you. Yeah, it's fully the meme of Charlie from It's Always Sunny where he's looking like he's been up all night and he's crazed and he's got the, uh,
He's like he's trying to find a serial killer with the wires going everywhere. That's how you decided to play for the Patriots. That was today's news notes brought to you by our friends at Sleeper. And it's funny because this is a new water brand that is out there. And I actually discovered them at a Fourth of July party when I watched Al Borland walking around with a tall boy looking can of liquid death. And I'm like, oh, what's that new beer you got? And he's like, this is sparkling water. And I was like,
That is the coolest can of sparkling water I have ever seen. And you could find them in stores. Maybe you've noticed these strange tallboys and said, oh, these are beers. And they're not. They're bottled water. And canned water. That's right. Sorry, in the bottled water section, you'll see canned water, which is refreshing. I love it.
And I may or may not have sent my son to school with one of these to see what would happen because I thought he's the coolest kid in the entire world. He came home covered in tattoos. Murder your thirst. Murder your thirst. Murder your thirst. And what's cool is they also donate 10% of their profits to kill plastic pollution to just murder it. Man, they're very aggressive. that are two and six. The Drafking Sportsbook line, Buccaneers, mine is nine and a half points. The overrunner is 51. Perfect transition here into the situation we just talked about. Chris Godwin seems questionable. This is a team that, you know, they've come out and said they're looking to, they're like the Cardinals. You know, they're going to consider the future of the season, not just this present week when maintaining players like Rob Gunkowski, Chris Godwin, Antonio Brown. So.
This could be a game that, you know, they lean on more Leonard Fournett than usual, right? We know they use him in the passing game. Jason just brought him up as maybe a end-of-season league winner type of player that doesn't, you know, that you need to trade for. He is a smash play this week against the 25th ranked Washington Rundee. Yeah, he is incredibly interesting at the running back position. Mike Evans set up for another one of those, you know, huge spike Mike Evans weeks.
And then the interesting, like, player who you might be just chilling out on your waiver wire right now, Tyler Johnson, who they drafted, I believe, last year in the fifth or so, but he came in. He's always looked solid. Yeah, he's made a couple splash plays, including a really big one on prime time last year. And he would be the next man up. And Tom Brady's great. Tom Brady makes the other players on the field better. So if Tyler Johnson is.
the wide receiver 2, because Chris Godwin is inactive, then I'm willing to play him as a flex. I think he's a very good play if he's the wide receiver 2. The matchup is outstanding. Yeah. Marvin Jones or Tyler Johnson? Tyler Johnson in the situation where Chris Godwin is not active. You look at the last two weeks. He's already been on the field 65% of the time, got six targets last week. I should say the last game. He's the AB replacement. They're coming off of by.
So I think that he is a good start because at the end of the day, Tom Brady is going to get it done, right? I mean, do any of us think Tom Brady because he doesn't have his perfect weapons is going to have a bad game? It's really hard for me to believe that. And it's just a matter of, well, who is going to get it? Is it Cameron Bray, is it O.J. Howard? Is it, you know, Mike Evans is going to feast? I think the answer is Tyler Johnson. And Jalen Darden could get involved as well. Could.
Other side of the football. Woof. Yeah, I mean, this is kind of a lost year for a team that we thought would be a lot better. They're two and six. Taylor Heineke has been having trouble. Antonio Gibson three weeks inside the top 24 through the first nine. And he's still limited with the shin. You saw it in practice this week. I think Roto World talked about.
a competition between him and DeAndre Swift on who would keep their injury on the, you know, practice reports all year long. But there's plenty of reasons to have been concerned with Gibson before the buy, the involvement of Jared Patterson on an almost equal level. And then McKissick is obviously getting all the third down work. He's also getting the come from behind work, which is likely in this game. He's getting the two-minute work. It's not a...
