Yeah, it is. Which changes things a lot, as we know. And they're coming off of, hey, at least Manning. He's a robot, so he's probably going to be fine. But that had to have been the emotionally where you don't see Manning get excited about anything. He was visibly excited when he broke the record. So I'm looking for a bit of a letdown for the Broncos on Thursday.

152 passagesUm, this is an interesting one. I guess this is, uh, start, sit of a, you know, if you got a flex, right? Uh, Ronnie Hillman, who had a big week last week or Golden Tate. Nice. Both of these guys have been on fire. Yeah, this is a no-brainer for me. I'm taking Ronnie Hillman. Uh, who are the, I forgot to write it in, but who are the lions playing this? The Lions take on the Falcon. Oh, I'm taking Golden Tate. You got Golden Tate? I'm taking Golden Tate. All right. Well, let's go to the experts here. And the experts. Wow.
Once again, they say I'm correct. Ronnie Hillman, 63%. Golden Tate, 38%. We'll see. Yeah, we will. And I don't think I've finished that sentence. I'm like, what, three and one now? But the lions, the lions are taking on the Falcons. I didn't finish that sentence. That impacted severely. Ronnie Hillman or Golden Tate, take your pick. We just did. So Andre Ellington or Joach Bell.
Andre Ellington or Joach Bell, the Cardinals are playing the Philadelphia Eagles at home. And the... Joyc Bell is taken on the Falcons. So I'm going to stick with my hometown boy, Andre Ellington, on this one. Over your start of the week. Well, you know, I think everybody's starting Andre Ellington. I just caught you in a trap, my friend. A fancy way.
Demarko Murray or Joig Bell, will you? I have to go with my start of the week? No. Okay. I'm just saying. Yeah, I'm going to take Ellington over Joyick, even though I think Joyce can have a big week. There you go. And you've failed us miserably on the percentages here, just so you know. Yeah, well, actually, now looking at it, it's got to be heavy Ellington. I don't know. In my brief, just going through the list. Oh, that looks like a...
It would be even, but I'm going to go with Ellington. Yeah, and it's 78% of experts agree, and Andre Ellington. He's just playing too well. I mean, that's the only reason I wouldn't pick my start of the week is Ellington's playing at a top 10 fantasy level. So there's our fantasy footballers versus the world segment. If you have any questions about who to start, feel free to go to Fantasypros.com. Put in both of those player names and...
You will see. It's as easy as that. Position does not matter. No, it doesn't. And you can get standard, half PPR, full PPR. They got it all at Fantasy Bros. They do. All right, let's move it on. Mailbag. Yeah. I like it. You got to drop that now. Yeah, let's go to the mailbag. This is where you can mail in your questions to us. At the Fantasy Footballers at gmail.com. That's right. And we will answer them on the podcast.
for you. It's an incredible free service that we do. And when you ask the questions and we answer them, you'll win your league. And you'll be everybody's favorite person and you'll be able to lord it over them the entire year. And it's pretty much win-win. And this week, I will admit, I was heavily influenced by...
listeners who used funny names. Yes. So you picked out five questions now. They're good questions, but... Good questions, funny names. If you had a good name, I moved you up the list. So keep that in mind if you're mailing... Because you know what? It's our show and we can do what we want to do. Yeah, that's right. So the first question coming in... Mailbag! It's coming in from Jojo Jenkins. Joe. Wow. Thank you, Jojo. He has a pickup question, which is interesting considering the waivers, but...
Would you pick up Chris Ivory or Trey Mason? The up-and-coming Trey Mason or Ivory, who seems to be great, even though, but he did have those two very down weeks in a row before exploding again. Yeah, this is a tough one. I'm going to give you some straight advice on it. Stick with Chris Ivory. Yeah, I would agree. I would go with the known commodity. Ivory is, despite those two bad games, he's...
still been producing at a... I liked what I saw this past week. He's not kicking the door down by any means, but he's been steady. I guess you'd say if this is purely a flyer. If this is your fifth running back on your bench, I'm about Trey Mason. But if you want to start this guy, and I think it's Chris Ivory. Ivory's a safer start. Now, the next question apparently is for Mordor. I don't know, because Bilbo Baggins has written in. Oh, good. I didn't know he played fantasy.
Everybody plays fantasy football. And everybody listens to our podcast. Now, is it a different kind of fantasy football? Oh, it is. It's a different fantasy. He's in a different kind of realm. So what does Bilbo Baggins have to say? I was shocked and a little bit sad that this question contained no dragons. But he was a start question. But he could go to Fantasypros.com, but he wanted these experts. Well, he's going to get a little bit more from our mouths.
Kelvin Benjamin. Oh, this is a pretty good question. Mike Wallace has been, to me, he's waiting for the shoe to drop. He's had a touchdown in every game but won this year. But no monster games, and he's just been double digits every single week. Touchdowns are so unreliable. So for me, I think the targets and attention for Kelvin Benjamin, I lean the Kelvin Benjamin side. Does it affect you, just to remind you, the Panthers are playing the Seahawks?
Does that change anything for you? That grimace on your face tells me that you forgot that fact. Yeah, I did forget that fact. And the dolphins are playing the Jaguars. Yeah, Mike Wallace, it is. Yeah, it's tough. I mean, Seattle's defense has obviously been more porous this year than in the past, but Kelvin's kind of their only outside weapon, and they're probably going to be focusing on him. So I will go, Mike Wallace. Thank you, Mike, for pointing out my stupidity.
I just wanted to make sure that you took all factors into account. I would lean Mike Wallace against the Jaguars as well. There you go. Because I like Ryan Tanehill. Nice. This week. Question number three from Sleazy E. He has a trade question. Would you trade Ryan Matthews for Sammy Watkins? Why don't you answer this one? Now, this on the surface seems like a no-brainer.
for you to get Watkins on your team. But if you are low on running backs for your team makeup, I think you have to hold on to Ryan Matthews. We don't know when he's going to be back. Brandon Oliver has played well. They want to run the ball there so badly. But Ryan Matthews, when he comes back, he has a role. And it's still a good size role. To me, when you put Ryan Matthews,
was a big part of their playoff push last year. And I don't think you're just going to throw all that away. No, I agree. I happen to get hurt. Yeah, I'm with you on that. So this is really team need dependence. Yeah, it is. But let's say you're in a vacuum. Oh, man. What would you do if you're... I don't think... I think you stick with Ryan Williams.
Even in a vacuum. Ryan Matthews? Yeah, sorry. Ryan Williams? That would be very bold to go through Ryan Williams. Oh, man. Old Cardinal running backs. Ryan Matthews, yeah, I stick with him. Sammy Watkins has had a good week, but he's been up and down. I would stick with Ryan Matthews, too. Running backs, sorry. Very valuable. Got a couple more before we close down the podcast? Email number four from handsome William. He is a chap. He is a debonair.
And he has a mustache. Sounds like a sophisticated fantasy player. I like those. What if he had written in his handsome bill? What do you think of him? A little bit less. A little bit less of him. A handsome Williams about, that's a little bit better for me. Another wide receiver running back trade. Would you trade Emmanuel Sanders for Ahmad Bradshaw? This is a great question because I was killing myself of this whole week about...
making a play on a mod Bradshaw. I was on the cusp of making trade offers for him, and he's so high on the running back list right now. And he's so touchdown dependent, yet he's never had more than 13 carries in a game. He's not getting the ball a bunch. And Sanders is getting the ball, but he's not scoring. Yes is the answer to me, is that I would trade Emmanuel Sanders for a mod Bradshaw. I am going to.
say that I'm all in on Amad Bradshaw being relevant the rest of the year. Yeah, even the hamstring for Trent Richardson is probably nothing. But as we know, hamstring injuries. He looks like he's been running with a bad hamstring for about two years. And if anything were to happen to Trent Richardson, Amad Bradshaw is high RB1.
He already is high RB-1. Yeah, he goes to the top of the list. Pass catching, running, high-octane offense. He's got everything you want, other than the fact he's probably going to break a leg in the next two weeks. Yeah, he is injury history. Do you do this trade yes or no? Once again, I will bow to the team dependency, but if I am in a vacuum, yeah, I want branch. I want the higher-ranked running back. Do we have any more questions? We do. We have a defensive streaming.
Question. Oh, oh, what? Defenses? Dude, I'm just kidding. Defense of win championship. They also win fantasy championships. What is it? See, well, he's aptly named Mick Streamy. See what he did there? It's kind of a frightening, weird name. Yeah, Mick Streamy. Because he likes to stream defenses. Yeah, and he also wants us to believe he's very attractive, like Mick Steamy.
Oh, okay. I think that was Desperate Housewives. Because I'm, dude, I'm killing it. Yeah, between Twilight and Desperate Housewives? With the references. Pop culture. Bring in the demographic. That's right. We moved up to 19-year-old girls. I've got it here. It says Philly versus Arizona or Baltimore versus Cincinnati. Well, this is, neither. Neither. No, that's my play. I said neither. I don't think either are very good plays this week. Oh, I like Baltimore.
Yeah, if I had to pick, it'd be Baltimore as well. Cincinnati has been inept. Arizona's at home. They don't turn the ball over. And Philly has just, they've been doing it weekly, which makes me annoyed. Yeah, but Arizona won one interception on the year? Well, I'm saying Philadelphia keeps scoring off of blocked punts and their special teams are scoring at a, at a.
really, really high clip. I don't know if it's historic, but I can't remember this day. It's like 30% of their touchdowns are special teams. Yeah, it's crazy. It's crazy. They had a game with three of them this year, too, this year. But you're taking Baltimore. Absolutely. So am I. Yeah. So that concludes our mailbag section. If you'd like to ask a question of the fantasy footballers, email us at the fantasy footballers.com. You can also hit us up on Facebook.
and ask us questions on Facebook. We will answer them, and it doesn't even have to be on the podcast. We'll just answer your questions on the Facebook feed so you can make quick decisions if we can, if there's not too many of them, I guess. Yeah. And you can visit us there at www. facebook.com slash the fantasy footballers. I got that right, right? It sounded right in my head. Yeah, there you go. So any concluding thoughts for this week, or are you ready to hit the road?
I'm ready to hit the road. I just would like to again apologize to Colt McCoy. He will really appreciate that. Because when he's back on the bench this week, he'll need something to listen to. I heard that what I said fueled that Garsohn touchdown. That play was about 1% Colt McCoy and about 99% Bear Carson. But right when it was done, it was a really, really short clip.
But there is, the camera captured it. He turned to the camera. He pointed. And he said, he mouthed the words, eat it, Mike. There you go. Well, Colt McCoy is fantasy gold at this point. He is an avid fantasy footballer listener, and he did not like what I had to say. All right, everybody, have a good week. Be sure to check us out on the web, and we'll see you in Week A. Goodbye.
