They've been pretty stout against the run. They have the last few games. But I look for Ryan Tanehill to have a big game. Who do you got? I'm going to bring it to Carson Palmer. He's taking on Philadelphia at home, big game, two five and one teams. Every game Carson Palmer started this year. Obviously he's coming off the nerve injury, but he's been back two games, and well, he's thrown two touchdown passes in both of those games. And every game he started this year, and Philadelphia is

152 passagespretty bad against the past. They are 28th in the league against the past in terms of fantasy points given up to quarterbacks. And so I like Carson Palmer this week. I like the chance of that game being a little bit more high scoring than what you might expect from a normal game from Arizona. So Carson Palmer is getting my start of the week. Running back, I'm going to Jerricks. You're going to Jerich? He went to Jerich. Jerich McKinnon. He's got the job.
I don't think the Vikings are going to look back. There's no need to. Tampa Bay is giving up 128 yards a week on the ground. It might be time. You think he can score? Absolutely, he has a chance to score. So it's the last two weeks. Jerich 19 runs for 103. Yeah, that was against Buffalo. Buffalo is they have a good run defense. Absolutely. And against the Lions, 11 for 40 plus six catches for 42 yards.
They do look to him out of the back. I love this pick for you. I think he's a great start of the week. I read something about Derek McKinnon this week, too, that Zimmer had challenged his running backs to get three yards after contact. Yeah, I saw that. Did you tell me that? Yeah. And the league high is like 2.58 yards after contact. And McKinnon actually pulled it off this past week against a really good run defense. So he's the guy. I think they know that they need him to win in Minnesota. Well, there was no reason.
Now that he is getting assimilated into the offense, we knew it made sense to go to ASEAT earlier because McKinnon wasn't ready. But now that the Vikings are moving on from Peterson, why would you not play the guy who's now you're going to be a running back? Yep. Sounds good to me. My start of the week at the running back position, and I like yours. That's very nice. Mine is Joick Bell, taking on the Atlanta Falcons. Going back to this. Back to what? Joick.
Joick? It worked out pretty well when you did him last time. Oh, yeah. Joick is looking good again. He got 18 carries despite the return of Reggie Bush. Atlanta is the worst team against the run in terms of fantasy points given up. I got all green lights on starting Joick Bell this week. He might win some people, some fantasy leagues, I think, this year. He might. He very well could. You don't sound as confident, but yeah. No, that was actually, that was the bitterness.
I really likes Joach Bell, but he was kind of one of those guys that never lined up for my slot. Oh, in the drafts and stuff, yeah. So you're just sad that what you knew about him didn't get to break up and then he would get taken right before me. Who's your wide receiver? Wide receiver, I got Samuel Watkins who busted out with, with moustachio-less Orton. He looked good. He scored the game-winning touchdown last week.
I was going to say, Kyle Orden looked not as good without his mustache. Yeah, Sammy Watkins looked great. The Jets are giving up 26 points a game. And last week, Sammy went for 9, 122 and 2. I'd call that a breakout. That's a good stat line. Yeah, he's their go-to guy. I mean, you have to, and, you know, like you said, less dependence on the running game. And they might have to lean on it. I'm going with Doug Baldwin. I'm going to hope he repeats his performance from last week.
He's taking on Carolina. We kind of saw the shakeout of how the depth chart would look from the wide receiver position for Seattle. I think Wilson is going to be responsible for a little bit more of the offense, which means throwing the ball a little bit more. Wait, a little bit more than 300 yards? In the air and 100 yards on the ground? No, yeah, I'm saying he carried them this past week, and he's going to keep doing it. But, yeah, Carolina has been pretty bad against the past, 28th versus the past, and so Doug Baldwin seems like a pretty safe start this week to me.
So I'd call him my start of the week. So for Tide End, I will thoroughly admit this is completely a gut call. I don't have fanciness for this one, but I'm going with... Did I write Jeremy Whitten? Who's Jeremy Witten? I want to know who. Is that his brother? I'm going with Jason. What's really funny is I'm like, I'm trying to write this in.
The only name in my head was Dallas Clark. I could not get Dallas Cup cut in my head. Now, that would have been bold. Dallas Clark would have been real bold. Yeah, he will get signed. He will get signed and play with him. Jason Whitten, they're playing against Washington. Washington is not good. And it's just one of those things where we saw Escobar had a two-touchdown big fantasy game last week. We did. Jason Whitten has been a great teammate.
uh he does he's not outspoken it's his turn he doesn't go diva you know i just i think it's the uh the balance just of life that jason he has a do game the do is the basically the stupidest thing you can say but you're just expecting the numbers to balance out a little bit so you must be expecting whitn to get into the end zone this week so this when you're expecting due you usually get do do do
But I'm still going with Jason. What about Jeremy Whitton? No. Jeremy Wood. You're starting both? He's my backup. Start of the week. I'm going back to the Baltimore while here. I'm taking Owen Daniels versus Cincinnati for nothing more than the fact that Daniels had a good week last week. And Cincinnati is the dead last against tight ends. They have...
They have lost it on defense. They sure have. And they're not going to get better with Burficked out, and they're still missing Ray Maliauga. And so Owen Daniels seems like a good start this week, so I'm going to go with him. He likes to, when he's my start of the week, he likes to wait a week to have his huge game. Hey, that's how he wasn't due then. No, we got the do-do. Defense, let's see, defense I'm going with.
The Texans against the Titans. The Titans are giving up two and a half sacks. I think there's talk that Locker might play again. Locker is a turnover machine. And Clowny did not play, but I expect him this week. And we will finally get to see Watt and Clowny. It is just going to be devastating. I like it. Especially the way that Watt is playing right now. He is just a monster. Good. Yeah, I like it.
I'm going to go with... This is bold. This is bold. This is bold. I'm going to take... Be bold. Yeah, this is right. This is the Jacksonville defense. What? The Jacksonville defense? Jacksonville anything? The Jacksonville defense versus the Miami Dolphins.
which flies in the face of your quarterback start of the week. It sure does. So we'll have to bring this back up next week and see who's right. Here's the reason why. The Jaguars had a big week on defense this past week. Like you said, Hoyer sucked, but they also shut down the run. I think Cleveland's one of the top running offenses in football. The Miami Dolphins have given up four or more sacks in three of their games. They commit turnovers, and right now they're giving up...
I think the ninth most points to fantasy defenses. And so this game's in Jacksonville. That also impacts my decision here because they were at home this past week and they got their first win against Cleveland. Their defense is coming alive. Now, they did lose Puzzlotsky, their linebacker, which is not good. But I still like the Jacksonville Jaguars. And you know what? If I know anything about the Miami Dolphins.
They let you down as soon as you believe. Yeah, you know, they give you a good week, they give you a bad week. So I would not be surprised, multiple turnovers, multiple sacks. I would be very surprised. Ryan Tannenhill is going to torch the Jaguars. Oh, you're team Tanna Hill. I'm team Jaguars. Hey, let's take on the world. Let's do it. The fantasy footballers versus the world. Yeah, I know.
You feel like you got to finish it after you. Wow! Okay, we'll look to add that next week. Fantasy footballers. I think we need to put those in, though. That gets our fantasy blood pumping. All right. Fantasy footballers versus the world we take. I grab some start-s. Close calls. From Fantasy pros. What I estimate are close calls from Fantasypros.com. We talk about who, which player, which team are we?
Which player do we like? And then we check fantasy pros, and we see what the expert consensus is to see how we align. Are we the dark side or are we the light side? That's right. So the first one we have here, it's a good one. Muhammad Sanoo this week or Eric Decker. Who you got? Isn't this totally dependent on whether AJ Green plays? That will have a large... Are we presuming he doesn't play? I am presuming he does not play.
I don't know what the experts are saying, but I just... I'm going to Sanoo. You're going with Sanoon? I'm going to Sanoo. I'm going to Sanoo. Just a quick A.J. Green note, the things I'm reading from injury experts on Twitter, these are not the mainstream people. They're saying that there's no way. Right. Like, even if he plays, how effective is he going to be? Which is so funny about Toes is...
That sounds like... You need your toe. It sounds like the smallest, most insignificant injury, but anybody who's broken a toe... Knows you can do nothing on it. You can't walk on your foot. Yeah, yeah. So Eric Decker with the Jets, he has had, I think, a pretty good season considering what his scenario is. And he's taken on Buffalo, Sunuz taken on Baltimore. Who you got?
Got to make the call, brother. And they added Percy Harvin. I don't know how much he can do this week, but I'm going to lean Eric Decker. All right. Let's go to Fantasypros.com, get the expert consensus rankings, and Mohamed Sanu takes it at 59% of experts agree. Mohamed Sanu over Eric Decker. All right, so Derek Decker was at 41. 41. I try and keep it within 70. I know. You pick good.
You pick good. If it's over 70, I feel like a failure. Right. What's the next one you got? Number two, we have the sensational rookie sensation. Is that what we're calling him after a game and a half? It's been more than a game and a half. It's been at least... Two and a half? Three. Brandon Oliver? We talked about this. All it takes is one week in fantasy football. All right. All right.
Yeah, this is a tough one. And the Broncos are playing the Chargers on Thursday nights, and who are the Pats playing Bat? Did you say the Bronx? You mean the Chargers are playing the Broncos? Yeah. Does that not what I said? Maybe you did. I said Broncos are playing Chargers, which is confusing because all the results. That confused me a little bit. All right. So the Patriots are playing the Bears. Ooh, this is a tough one. Patriots are at home. Chargers on Red. It's funny because this is.
This goes with whether or not I would want to start them or whether or not I think the experts are picking them. But for me, I pick Brandon Oliver. Because they're a run-dependent team, and I think that they're just going to keep giving them the rocks. They are, and they're coming off a loss. I think I'm going to roll with Shane Vereen. I think he's just going to get the snaps. Brandon Bolden was usurped by...
A guy who was... Jonas Gray. A guy who was added from the practice school. That's got to feel good on your psyche. You got to be really sad about that. You want the number? I do. Give it to me. All right. Brandon Oliver, 67%. This game is stupid. And Shane Vereen at 32. Well, it makes sense that the experts would agree with me because I'm an expert.
Let's move it on. Brandon Oliver wins again. Emmanuel Sanders versus the Chargers or Sammy Watkins. I strategically did it this time at my start of the week. Oh, you did it on purpose? Yeah, well, because I keep messing it up. I bet you're going with Sammy Watkins here. I'm taking Sammy Watkins to the bank. Boy, this is tough for me because I'm not so sure I agree with your start of the week on Sammy Watkins.
So for the sake of probably agreeing with the experts again, I'm going to go ahead and go with Emmanuel Sanders. It would not surprise me. However, Sammy Watkins. If I was correct, is what I was going to say. Sammy Watkins wins on Fantasypros.com. 56% of experts agree with you, Mike. Unbelievable. You have to factor in the Broncos. It's a short week. It is. That doesn't impact them. What, they're going to score 50 instead of 55? But it's also a division game.
