I would feel really bad for my Washington friends. Oh, I know, I know. So a couple weeks for RG3 probably. You know, they're talking about this week, but I think you just have to be insane to bring them back on the road against Dallas on Monday night. I've got a panic alert. I need you hit the button. All right. Franklin Gore. Do you speak to me about Franklin Gore. This is his name. I hope it's Franklin. It's probably not Franklin. Frank the tank. Nine for 20.

152 passagesagainst the... That's not good numbers. Superstar Broncos. They are very good. I think Tyking finally running out on him, don't you think? And it was... Was it before this week or before last week? He was born Franklin, by the way. Yeah, fantastic. Franklin Delano Gore. Oh, that is a name. He's a president. That is a very official name. Yes, Franklin Delano. But the news leaked out that they were saying that Frank Gore had to earn his spot this year.
where he was at the beginning of the year. Yeah, at the beginning of the year, he was on the chopping block. Yep. The 49ers, they're still fine, or they're four and three. They're still in the hunt, but it would, they're in the by week, correct? Yeah, I think they're in by this week. I believe so. And coming off of that loss, it would not surprise me. Changing to the guard? To see Carlos. Mr. Hyde? Yes.
Uh, probably something for fantasy owners to pay attention to here. Now I'm not. Hides available in a lot of leagues still. I am not by any means proclaiming. I think this is factual going to happen, but it... Keep your eye on it? It is, it makes sense. The timeline lines up. And Frank Gore has been not producing the last couple weeks. Not that I think Hyde has been doing world burning events, but...
Right, no, he hasn't. But if you're going to, if they were already talking about moving on, then why not start getting the kids some real reps that matter? Yeah, I think what you said about what happened earlier in the season before this season matters a lot now. Because if you don't hear that news, my inclination is that they're just going to stick with Gore. Because they did win a couple games in a row by being run dependent with Gore. And so you don't, you know.
They were down so much in this last game. I wouldn't overreact. And if you were counting on Gora as an RV1 or two, you're probably in trouble anyway. Yes. But, yeah, keep your eye on it, heading into the next part of the season. Put me in, coach. Oh. Oh. Oh, put me in, waiver wire. Yes, let's talk waiver wire. There's a lot of guys.
There is. I think it's a bigger... Let's help some fantasy owners out. It's a bigger waiver wire week. So we have gone to fantasy pros.com, which is a fantastic tool. If you haven't checked out fantasy pros, you really need to do it. They have really all the information you could ever want. Expert consensus picks on who you should play. You know what I like about fantasypros.com? Everything? Well, it's what you said. It's a tool. It's not...
one guy telling you what to do with your team. It's a resource site where you can compare and contrast opinions of tons of experts. And so you use it as a tool to make your own decisions. And it's a lot better than going to a site and subscribing to Joe Bob fancy fantasy pants. And because have you ever been there? It's a really nice thing. Yeah. Dot com. But no, it's a lot better than one guy just giving you his opinion. So we went there. We grabbed a list, right? Yeah, we grabbed their.
They're waiver priorities. Yeah, consensus ranks. Yeah, so let's hit it. Clearly the top two, I think this will be universal across the board, are going to be Trey Mason from the Rams and Bryce Brown of the bills. Yes, the default running back for the Buffalo Bills now, most likely. So are you a Mason? Are you a Brown guy?
For me, and we talked a little bit about this earlier, for me, I'm a Trey Mason guy, and I'll give you a couple of reasons for that. Obviously, St. Louis invested a pick on Trey Mason. We saw what happened with fantasy relevance for Zach Stacey last year. Yeah, towards the end of the year where they're willing to move a new guy into a role if he's producing. And the other part of the equation right now this minute for me is,
the longevity of the relevance. You know, there's a chance Trey Mason is going to be a fantasy relevant running back the rest of the year, whereas if Bryce Brown or Anthony Dixon steps into that role and performs in Buffalo, their role's going away when Fred Jackson returns if he returns. And so we don't know and have enough clarity to that future in Buffalo. So for me, it's Trey Mason. I think he's the guy you've got to get. I am a Bryce Brown man. I have to preface this with...
Before the season started, I was very high. Bryce Brown was one of my ultimate sleepers for the year. The bills also used a draft pick to acquire Bryce Brown. They gave a fourth-run pick. They did. Which, unless you're getting a first-run pick for Trent Richardson, a fourth-round pick for a running back, that's a pretty high price to pay.
We saw what Bryce Brown could do. He said he burned bright for a little while. He had a couple of stinkers and a couple huge games for the Eagles. And making him inactive is the wrinkle. The question mark. The fact he hasn't been active recently? It's very strange to me that they would do that. But...
So you're looking at Bryce Brown as your top waiver claim of the week? Yes, I'm taking him with the... Okay. And why I do that is just the... Just gambling, the gambler tendencies of me. I think Bryce Brown has the much higher ceiling. Trey Mason's upcoming schedule is brutal. Although he did. He ran well against Seattle. And I'm still not...
convinced that Zach Stacey, this is a lot of double negatives, so let me say, I think Zach Stacey might be hurt, and they're just not really talking about it. One carry, one carry last week for Zach Stacey. To me, it's not necessarily that Zach Stacey is terrible now. I think he might be hurt, and that's why he's not getting the work, and Trey Mason has not yet, at least, proven that he's going to catch the ball.
So Cunningham's going to come in on third down. I think Bryce Brown can kind of do it all. What do you think about the Anthony Dixon? Because he's another guy on this list. How does Anthony Dixon work into the Bryce Brown equation? Because Mason obviously has Cunningham and Stacey, so it's not like there's not competition there too. But is there any chance Dixon runs away with this? There is a chance of that. Literally? Yes. And I do think it'll be a timeshare, but I think the timeshare favors.
Bryce Brown. He's the more complete back. It's really... More shifty, more high-end. It's very interesting how similar these teams are in balance of how those teams are created. They're both run teams. Yeah, they don't have high-powered offenses. Both of these guys, we don't know what the timeshare is going to be, so it's very interesting. This is a... I was going to say it.
a twilight reference but i don't even know the names of the characters you were going to say a twilight reference because they because they have the team uh team wolf guy and team that's uh listen to me here listen hold on i don't think we need to listen anymore buddy okay well it's i think it's a proven fact that our demographic oh you were gonna say like team tray mason and team rice brown yeah so jump on my bandwagon if this is what we're doing we're bringing you pop culture
uh into your life that's all i'm trying that's all you're trying to do yeah and i think the demo of who listens to our show they're big twilight fans right right most of our listeners are obviously it's they're 13 year old girls flip a coin between twilight and turning on the nifl uh 13 year old girl uh that's right so uh but i'm so is which name sounds cooler no i'm a brice brown guy so the next shoelace made the list on rod robinson yeah let's just go through i would say let's go through these pretty quick and just kind of give
Quick hitters on him. So we said Mason, we said Bryce Brown. DeNard Robinson. DeNard, I would add. Give him another go. He would not be my first waiver through. I wouldn't put a lot of fab on him. But if I got a spot, sure, I'll throw him on there just in case. We mentioned Anthony Dixon. Yeah, the highest big boy. Highest wide receiver this way is Doug Baldwin. Dougie. I think this is just, obviously, Percy's gone, so.
And he's good. Yeah, Doug Baldwin's, but he's been, he's burned bright in the past too. I mean, he had like a little, I remember back half of a year he looked pretty good. I think he's, I mean, he's their number one. Yeah. Oh, yeah, I would say so. Yeah, Golden Tate's obviously gone and Percy's gone now and the days of Sidney Rice are long gone. So now you have to throw in Doug Baldwin, who is there with all of them. And is now by default number one. You got Curse as well, Jermaine Curse. So I think you're going to see.
I mean, on this list, you see Baldwin above Germain Curse. But I think you're going to see a lot of alternating weeks of who's more productive in that kind of offense. I would agree, but I would still gamble on Baldwin. Okay. Yeah, probably the more consistent. A couple other wide receivers on the list. Andrew Hawkins of Cleveland had a better week. Alan Robinson. I like Alan Robinson. I still like his targets. He finally scored.
Jacksonville won. Maybe they get some confidence. Who knows? Yeah, I think those are really the only headline names worth mentioning. Do you have anybody else who want to isolate and talk about for our listeners? Devante Adams is still on this list. He, the wide receiver for Green Bay. He's been involved. I don't know what his ownership is. He seems to have one catch every week, but that catch is always a touchdown. And I think it really speaks to if Jordy...
or Cobb go down. He's the guy. There will be a scramble to get Adams. He's had only a handful of catches this year, but they've been for scores a couple times. He had six catches the week before. I would say another guy. This might be pretty specialized for the touchdown heavy leagues. Stefan Taylor, what are your thoughts on him? Did you read about that? So if you don't know who Stefan Taylor is, he's the vulture of the Arizona Cardinals. He got two touchdowns this week in the Red Zone.
called the backup. Right, right. He's also the backup now that Jonathan Dwyer is in handcuffs. But Andre Ellington had a monster game, ran it up and down the field, and then took himself out. Did you know that? Did you see that? Yeah, he said he took himself out to reward Stefan Taylor for his hard work and practice. And I think it... Which is literally something that probably made some losing fantasy owners that needed a few more points out of Ellington.
pull their hair out of their head. Yeah, I'm sure it did. But touchdown only leagues, I can see that maybe. And I really, I like that for Ellington's longevity and just throughout the year. If he doesn't have to worry about that short yardage cram it in and you just let Taylor handle it, I think he's going to have higher returns. We want touchdowns, Mike. Fantasy owners want touchdowns.
Yeah, I just, he's not that guy. Fantasy owners hate the Lindale Whites of the world that steal from Chris Johnson. And, uh, no, we, we, we, I'm, I'm curious. I don't, I don't know if that's going to happen every week because we've seen Ellington get a couple goal line carries. Um, and we, I don't know, I, I'm, I'm not thinking that Stefan Taylor's going to be super involved here on out. He may or me know, keep an eye on it. Sounds good. Starts of the week. Oh.
That's right. We're bringing you our very favorite gourmet starts of the week. It's a gourmet. It's a gourmet. It's a gourmet start of the week this week. We're going to bring you. Mike and I both have picked out a player at every position that we think has the potential to win you your fantasy week. And we've done pretty good on these in the last couple weeks. So who you got at quarterback, Mr. Mike? We've talked about him earlier in the show, my man.
Ryan Tannenhill, the quarterback. Looking good this week. Of the Miami Dolphins. Lay it down for me. So a stat. The last two weeks have been the highest QBR ratings of Tannenhill's career. Now, just in case people don't know a QBR, that's the newfangled ESPN. That's a modified quarterback ranking. Quarterback metric. It's supposed to be a little bit more true. Yeah, maybe. That's what they tell us. I don't know. But.
It's not bad to be at the top of that list, no matter what it is. That's never bad. So he's had the two highest, and now he gets to play Jacksonville, who I believe are giving up the most passing yards of all defenses. Interesting. They look pretty good against Brian Hoyer this past week. Well, because Brian Hoyer sucks. Oh. And that was kind of harsh. I didn't know that. I didn't know that. And the Jags are actually...
