Fantasy Football Podcast for Week 13/14

Right. Like we give, because you and I both know, when you lose your fantasy week. Oh, my goodness. I mean, it's devastating. It touches every part of your life. No. But, yeah, here's some answers to some questions we got. Let's open that mailbag. We should mention the caveat that we prioritize people with funny or clever type names. This is correct. If it's funny or clever, we will read it first.

Memo. Memo. The first question comes from... Mimo. Mimow. Comes from Lionel Richie Rich. A weekend? Lionel Richie Rich. He has a wide receiver ad question. You guys are on his waiver wire? Yeah, I was actually going to start the... Can I join your league? My first answer is you need to get into a big boy league. Seriously.

But apparently on his waiver. This is a 16 league. It's a 10-teamer. I would imagine. But Jordan Matthews, Kenny Stills, Brandon LaFelle are all on the Waver Wire. Who would you add? This is, I would go LaFelle, Stills, and then Matthews. In that order. And that's based purely on matchups this week. I would say I would go Stills, Lafell, Matthews, and for matchups of, I think Stills.

has the best matchup this week, and the Saints have a good schedule moving forward through the rest of the fantasy playoffs. So obviously you've got to win this week if you want to keep going. Cool. Is that it? Yeah, the next, let me pull one up here. The next one is from Who Will Suck Less. It's a good name. It's his name Will. Who Will suck less? Who will suck less? Once to start.

Tana hell versus the Ravens or Kaepernick versus the Raiders. This is a great question. The Raiders have terrible defense, as we just saw, but the Ravens have a terrible secondary. I'm going to go with anybody versus the Raiders. When Sean Hill makes our fantasy stud muffin list from last week, I'm going to go with Colin Kaepernick, even though they're in Oakland. I'm going to keep going strong, despite last week's...

debacle, but I'm going headstrong on that Ryan Tannenhill train. All steam ahead. He looks good, yeah. He looks... What's going on, Yanni? Oh, I'm going to fall asleep. It's starting to get rainy outside. Had a big submarine sandwich. Come on now. Nice. Our third joke, I started reading the email. Our third email... Oh, that's the one you're reading. Greg Olson, Jordan Reeder, Antonio Gates. For me, this is read is number one for me. And it's a toss-up between Olson and Gates. Another piece of news that we forgot to say, Greg Olson did not practice today. So that may factor into this decision. Yeah, I doubt it, though. He'll probably play. I would go read. Oh, man. define the course of history for you. It will. In our dynasty league. It's very possible. Well, Crowell is out. And so we just talked about this. I, for some reason, I don't know why. And, oh, I'm wondering if I'm willing to waterbet this. Gio Jeremy Hill? Yeah, I'm just deciding. I just think, Gio's going to have a surprisingly good week. So I'm going to go Gio Hill, Crowell. Yeah. When I wrote this yesterday.

because I was very on the fence with all of them with. I was actually leaning Crowell, especially with the Terrence West tirade that came out of the Cleveland camp, where he just destroyed him. And they were talking about West might not get snaps this week, blah, blah, blah, blah. So I was leaning towards the crow, but now I think I've got to take him out. I can't trust him. And...

Between Jeremy Hill and Geo, just as of today, I'm leaning Jeremy Hill. All right, what's our last question here? Our last question comes from clearly someone who listens to the show, because their name is, I should have stashed the Lions, because the Lions defense has a fantastic playoff schedule. So it's a defensive question. Minnesota versus the Jets at home, or San Francisco versus the Raiders on the road. Do, do, do, do, that is a tough question.

I'll tell you, I'm going to go with Minnesota's D, and I'm going to give you two words as to why. Latavius Murray. Guess what the record is for the Raiders when he has 90-yard touchdowns? I imagine that's one. Undefeated. Undefeated. No, I am going to lean on. Here's, this is a game of, there's two things. One, Minnesota's at home. Two, even though Oakland looked a...

Memic last week, getting Latavius Murray back, being at home where they won, they beat the Chiefs two weeks ago. And we've also seen in the beginning of the year, Derek Carr can sling it a little bit if he gets on a roll. I'm not expecting the 49ers as a bad play. They're a good play. I just think your ceiling for the Jets scoring is like 20 points. I will actually lean San Francisco because Derek Carr will sling it.

I'm not concerned at all about Latavius Murray. We have a very drastic differing opinion on Latavius Murray this week. But I think as we saw, the jets, they're not even going to throw the ball. We assume that they have to do, that they would do something similar move against Minnesota. So the chance for turnovers is higher for the Raiders. Chance for Sacks is higher for the Raiders. So I would go San Francisco.

Don't blame you. Don't blame you. Two good starts. If you got those starts going into your playoffs, you're in good shape. And so that concludes our mailbag section. And we're almost done here, man. I know. That's sad. The season's almost over. But fantasy will continue. We'll move on. Fantasy will continue.
