I did. I spent some time with the family, did some swimming. Jason hasn't taken off his swimming trunks since Memorial Day. Not since Memorial Day. This is a memorial of Memorial Day. Non-stop. Yeah. Non-stop swimming or jacuzian. I had plenty of hot dogs. Did some birthday celebrations for the cousin. Filled my belly. Good stuff. Let's talk some news notes. News and notes from around the league.

Surprise, surprise. Adrian Peterson is still not happy. Yeah. Still wants a trade. Won't report for... Reportedly won't report. Reportedly won't report to volunteer workouts. What is he sacrificed $250,000? What I was hearing was... Could I report for him and collect that check? Is there was no doubt he was going to skip the voluntary portion of the off season.

But his bonus was tied to when it was mandatory, and they're saying he's going to start skipping those. That's what the new scandalous reports are. But then I had heard something else that he has to actually just be involved with a certain threshold, like 90% or something of the off-season workouts. And then today his agent came out and said he wanted a trade as well, or basically actually he came out and said he was...

strong like Dorel Rivas in the sense that he's not going to give in to his demands, feels disrespected by the organization, and I guess the way that he believes he can be respected again would be to be traded financially or trade it. Or get some of that guaranteed because none of his salary is guaranteed. It's a lot of money, but after this year or even before this year, they can just cut him. I thought this year was guaranteed. No. Oh, no. Interesting. In other news,

Out of Atlanta in that new offense, reports are saying Devante Freeman and Tevin Coleman will likely get equal reps in that backfield. I think we all kind of expected that. No one thought Tevin Coleman would walk in and take every carry. Any surprise there for you guys? No, but as we get closer to the season, that we'll slowly start to say, and Coleman's going to get more than Freeman.

Yeah, and as the season plays on, I never thought Devante Freeman was a, you know, a caliber of back to be the leader of an offense. Yeah, and I, and I'm the one that definitely disagrees with both of you and believe that Devante Freeman will get more carries than Kevin Coleman this year. So we'll have to see how that carries out. Cairies out? You sounded like Captain Kirk right there. I'd do an impression, but I already did. Start eight. 21, one. Five.

Matt Jones more talk about Matt Jones yeah is he becoming your boy Andy no no no just because he's in the news doesn't make him no no but you talk about him a lot lately off the air to me and oh third round pick no I just think you draft a guy that high and with the contract situation in place for Morris and I mean Morris is very solid but he has not I don't know he's not sexy so I think people that's his problem I know he's not just solid

Morris is amazing. But he had his worst year of his career last year. Yeah, and it was still a great year. Yeah, that's true. Like, oh, it wasn't as good as amazing. It was just really, really good. That's a ridiculous argument. And I did some more... So you have no worries about. No, and I did some more looking on Matt Jones and going through his game log of individual. I am not worried about Matt Jones. When you look him up for last year, the guy only had 11 receptions and everyone's talking up

that he's going to take the receiving the third down roll of a guy who had 11 receptions last year? That was what was so weird to me is that I felt like they were drafting a replacement, not a compliment, because he's got the same type of tool set. And that's where I thought they were just going to... Well, they keep saying three down, three down guy. Yeah, but he's... And on top of that, he just was not good. His numbers are majorly inflated by inferior talent. And then when he plays anybody of note...

Garbage. Yeah, but there's so many variables in college with those type of numbers. Your offensive line, the strategy and way you're playing. I mean, he got drafted in the third round for a reason. I mean, the teams didn't go, oh, no, we drafted him, and, whoops, oh, he had some bad games in college. I mean, I just think the way they're talking about him in camp makes you need to, do I think he's taking Alf's spot this year? No. But that's what the concern is growing into, though. Right, right. But I think you should pay attention to him, especially in Dynasty Leaves, because if they move on from Alf for whatever reason, Alph's the kind of guy at least,

to me, that could stop quickly in terms of being a very valuable back. Yeah, because if he doesn't have that role... Because he doesn't catch the ball. Yeah, then I doubt he leaves the team and goes to another team and immediately gets that role. Which means his role's just over. But yeah, no conclusions here. Just sharing the news. Charles Sims...

They keep talking about him in Tampa. Go ahead. Keep talking about him. As Lovey Smith's guy and the guy they drafted and the guy they want to be there between the tackles carry guy. But, you know, he didn't show it on the field last year. Some people say injuries is why. But what are your thoughts on Charles Sims and the possibility that he's the guy to own in Tampa? I think he's the guy to own in Tampa. But I don't know that I want to own anybody that's in Tampa in the backfield particularly much.

Yeah, and Brad Evans tweeted out that Charles Sims gained 48.6 yards after contact last year. So 48.6 of his yards were after contact. One point something. That means he gets hit and he's down. Yeah. That in Tampa Bay, he's not going to be. Well, that's what Andy was saying. It's like the excuse for his poor performance last year was the ankle injury and that that's the reason that, you know, essentially he sucked after contact.

But really, I mean, it's one of those things where is it the injury or is he just not that talented? Well, and I think for us, his hype is going to build is the problem. Whoever's the starter is going to have production in a backfields. Maybe. Maybe. Well, I mean, generally, you get some type of value out of a starter. So is he the guy that's the starter right now? I think that's the answer is yes. Yeah. I think his hype is going to inflate.
