Are they like, welcome home, son. 23% European, 77% donut. Yeah. Just donut. Not even a heritage. It's just what I am at this point.
What is your favorite donut if you have to pick one? Is it easily a Boston cream donut? Really? Not too rich for you? That's too rich for me. That's cute. Thanks. I guess I'm a fool. Mike, do you have a favorite donut? Oh, we've been over this. There is only one donut. Oh, yeah, you're Captain Glazed. Glazed donuts. That's so pathetic. Look, you want to call it basic? That's fine. I accept that, but it's the best.

I don't know what I'm putting myself out there for. You got nothing to do? Yeah. I mean, here's the deal. This is extra content. You know, people have questions.
We're going to answer everything at Foot Clan Help. We're here to help the Foot Clan. Well, that makes sense. That makes sense. Mike, your shirt is throwing me off today. Why is that? I know it's probably supposed to be some sort of style. It's tie-dye. Is it? But it's like a dirt with white tie-dye? It looks like a mechanic wearing a white shirt after a long day of oil changes. And then you're done.
Yeah, no, it's very nice. I guess I do see the tie-dine now. It's interesting. We'll move on. Buy or sell, presented by pristine auction. It's too much for the webcam. I get it. Yeah, that's all I mean. That's all I mean. We actually, Jason and I both, after setting up a studio that looked exactly like yours, we renovated since then. Yes. Yeah. I went through all the trouble to make sure that my shot was looking as cool as possible.
And then you guys just kind of gave up on that and you started using wizardry to transport. I don't know what you're talking about. You know how hard it was to set up this recording and this donut shop during the quarantine. So how dare you? Are those stale? That was probably really stale. Here's the buy sell question for today, guys. We're talking about Matthew Stafford. It's simple. Buy or sell Matthew Stafford as a top 12 fantasy quarterback in 2020.
If you want some context, last year he played eight games before the back injury. He was great. He was the quarterback six. He was the quarterback six in fantasy points per game. We already know what a weapon Kenny Ghaladay is. Stafford was having, you know, one of his best years ever. And 19 touchdowns, five interceptions. So what do you think? He was pacing for 5,000 yards and 38 touchdowns. Now, I'm not saying I think he was going to hold up.
for those types of numbers. But that was the production that he had put up in half the season. He was absolutely outstanding. And it was, I mean, this was almost like we were transported back to early young man, Matthew Stafford, where he was just slinging the ball down the field as far as he possibly could because he was the leader. He was the man throwing the ball deep more than any other quarterback in the NFL because he's surrounded by Kenny Galdane and Marvin Jones. It was a bit surprising.
with the coaching staff in tow that that was kind of the game plan that they were going with. But it's hard to imagine Matthew Stafford not being a top 12 guy. There's no reason to think that the offensive game plan has really changed for Detroit. I know they want to be, you know, we're the tough running guys. But if the run is just going to set up.
Stafford throwing the ball like 30 air yards every single attempt, then Stafford will be great for fantasy. Yeah, if you were to take a look at the last several years, you know.
Let's say he finished this full season. What was he quarterback six? If he finished in the top 10 this last year, that means three of the last four years. He was a top 10 quarterback, quarterback number 7 in 2016, quarterback number 7 in 2017. So I think there's a lot of reason to buy it. And the truth is I would buy it on a points per game basis, but I think you're going to possibly see more of the same. The back injury he's dealing with is significant. So I mean, when you say at the end of the years, he's going to finish.
in the top 12, I think that's a matter of does he play 16 games? So, you know, I would have to go to the judge here and say, is this a top 12 end of season ranking or a top 12 points per game ranking? Whatever, points per game, Jason, answer the question. If it's points per game, I think he will be. He's been that most of his career. Yeah, I'm not really worried about the durability. I know last year, you know, if they were fighting for a playoff spot, he might have come back towards the end of that year. And he's been.
one of the healthiest quarterbacks, one of the more adorable quarterbacks until last year. I'm going to buy it. I think he's a top 10. I really do. Let me ask you guys this question. Because this is not really, this is not fantasy, but Detroit, they are third in the NFL draft. And I have kind of just been thinking about it a little bit more. And I'm of the mindset that Detroit, the team, the team, they would be better off.
If they could somehow, it's probably too late to trade Stafford, but they should have traded Stafford and taken Tua at number three. Interesting. Yeah, I mean, I think that Matthew Stafford is a very, very, very capable quarterback. I think you could take you far into the playoffs if you gave him a good team. I don't know that they're able to do that. That's the problem. So to me, I would trade back from the three and get a haul for someone trading up for Tua.
use, you know, the hall of picks to actually put a good team around Stafford who's 32 years old. And he's, you know, he's that strong-armed quarterback type that I think could play till he's 38. This is one of those situations, Mike. You talked about earlier. You were saying, oh, they want to be this running team. That's out the window. They have to be a win-win-some games team or Matt Patricia is going to be gone. So I think that that would be the thing that gets in the way of...
a reinvestment and a new quarterback and a rebuild. Patricia has to win games or he's gone after this year. So, all right. So, yeah, I think I'm excited to see him back back on the field. That's for sure. As a reminder, buyer sell brought to you by pristine auction. Check them out at pristine auction. Use the code ballers and get a little credit towards your first sports memorabilia purchase. Let's talk some news. News and notes from around the league. We're all thinking about it.
whether we want to talk about it or not, what's going on with the NFL this year? I mean, really, a lot of fear out there, a lot of unknowns. I mean, we're sitting here at the beginning of April, and, well, people want to know, is the NFL going to actually have a season this year? I would like to know that. Yeah, I would too, and I understand it, but...
You know, we can't put our head in the sand and recognize that there aren't a lot of challenges between now and September. That being said, we do have some news. We know that President Trump and a number of commissioners from a variety of leagues had conversations about sports and the leagues getting started back up. We didn't get any negative news out of that meeting. If anything, you could spin it as positive, although ultimately we're grasping at straws as a nation trying to figure out timelines on anything.
That being said, they expect the league to start in September. Adjustments are being made day by day by the NFL to accommodate more and more things in a virtual format right now, including a memo on Monday sent to the 32 teams saying the entire NFL draft will be conducted entirely outside of all team facilities and in a fully virtual format. But it is happening on time, on schedule.
What are your reactions to that news? My reaction is that the NFL, and this is kind of what I've said from the beginning, they absolutely love their money and they're going to keep doing everything they can to make it. And so look, I mean, this is very inconvenient for players, for general managers, for everyone involved.
And the NFL is like, well, deal with it because we've got to schedule and we're going to make our money. So I think that this is great news for all us sports fans out there, all the football fans, just showing the resolve to be willing to bend and change and do what it takes to be on time, to be on track, to have football. I'm very optimistic that, you know, whether or not fans are there.
Which, I mean, honestly, I'm at the studio watching games anyways. You know, I think it'll start on time. I think that the only downside of the draft is just for the players where if they, if this is the moment that they've been dreaming of, I get to go on stage. I get to give the commissioner a hug and stand there because I was drafted in the first round. To me, that's really the only.
downside of this. I think that the GMs and the coaches, those big boards are set. They know what they're doing. I mean, the only things that could come up would be like last minute trades or somebody drafts a player is falling and then you have to do the, why is this player falling down the draft board? Is there something that we don't know about? But I think that they should be able to handle all of that in the virtual format. So to me, this is, I think this is great.
