The Christmas Eve show opens with holiday outfits in Deucers Alley and a fantasy-league betrayal: Mike beat Papa Josh for a title last year while Al is now trying to win and denying involvement. The hosts call Week 18 a recorder concert they must attend even though it is terrible. They compare fragile players to a shared brace supply, joke that Al could be manslaughtered by Lamar Jackson while watching Houston-Baltimore, and describe Dalton Schultz as moving like a monster with tied shoes. The closing turns to the hosts' wrapping habits: Mike plans a late-night whiskey-fueled underwear marathon while others confess to Frankenstein packages.
When you say you watch him. And it's frustrating. He's got a lot of rookie play. It's awful to watch. But I also. See. I actually enjoy watching it. I totally get what you're saying. But. He's shown me a lot of. Like. I believe in his future. Completely. I don't. I haven't watched Caleb. And said. This guy can't get it done. He looks like a rookie. Struggling with rookie things. With a lot of tools. That are working. And. And in the end. I mean. He's been putting up. You know. Pretty. Pretty large counting stats. Um. Where are you with Metcalf. This week.
I'd still play him. I would. Prefer to pivot away. The Bears. Defense. Is pretty good. Against wide receivers. JSN. Is still the one. For this offense. You're going to need. The one big play. Yeah. I mean. You're going to need. The touchdown. And I don't know. If it comes against the Bears. Would you play. Devontae Smith. Yes. Assuming it's Kenny Pickett. Ooh. You got. You. You like. Jabbed. And then there was. The right hook. Clearly you didn't remember. That. That hurts. Has a concussion. Um. That's where I'm saying. Like DK Metcalf. He's a wide receiver. Three type. Yeah. And I guess that's probably.
Where Devontae Smith moves. If Kenny Pickett is in. Like Darnell Mooney. With Michael Pennix. I would play Mooney. Mooney looked good with Pennix. Okay. Man. You know what? I realized. Tell us. I'm going to watch Die Hard tonight. Yeah. Okay. Fantastic. Making Mike happy. I like to hear it. Have you watched it this season Mike? I have not. That's very off brand. It's. Will it come over? Normally it's the Christmas wrapping. Movie. But we wrapped on Sunday. And. I had to watch that Sunday night game. There was too much at stake. I'm planning on wrapping. From about. Oh gosh. You know what?
10 p.m. To about 4 a.m. That's. That's the usual for. For me and. In my household as well. The usual for Jason. I know that. It's every year. Yeah. You should live stream. You're wrapping. Oh no. For six hours. That would be so boring. Oh no. With. Sip after sip of whiskey. Yeah. There'll be too much whiskey. And too much. Just me and my underwear. Have you ever had the kids come in. To the room. On Christmas morning. While you're wrapping. And just take in the presents. Like no. You gotta go back to sleep. I'm not done wrapping. We got another one ready.
See you in five minutes. Oh my God. I'm so slow at wrapping. Oh. I believe that. It's unbelievable. Do they look good at the end? Very good. Oh yeah. I can do an excellent job wrapping. I am so fast at wrapping. Yeah. And mine look like butts. Yeah dude. You just literally get a big sheet. Bend it over. Twist it. Dude. I had so. Like. I forget how to wrap every single gear. And then I was handed. A fresh roll. That it was double sided. I didn't have my grid. Oh. You want that. From the straight lines. And they undercut.
Five pieces. And that. That they had to turn into something else. So. So that. Gift now has about. Three X too much wrapping paper on it. I'm surprised you didn't just cut like a little strip extra. And like. Oh. I do. I do that. I do that crap. And I hide it on the bottom. Dude. You guys. I have Frankenstein so many packages. Brother. I've done such a bad job wrapping. I'm not asked to participate anymore. Oh. That's. That's the problem. Well. That's. I didn't do it on purpose. I just tried my best. That's how it is with me with speed.
It's like. You just go and do something else. Because. I can wrap 30 presents at the time. You wrap two. And so I. And. But I've still got to like. I'm in charge of carrying them. Yeah. Me too. You know what I mean? Yeah. I got to do the setup. I got to do the move. Yeah. I got to move them from the hidden closet. All right. Well. I got to start wrapping pretty soon. All right. Well. Merry Christmas everybody. Enjoy the holiday. We will not be with you tomorrow. But some of these big questions you brought up. Let's just be honest.
We're not going to know. More information until we get into Thursday, Friday. Heading into the weekend. Stuff like Charbonnet, Connor, and we'll keep you posted. And. Congrats to everybody that's made it through. That's a hard thing to do. It is. And there's a lot of you that. And every single person in this room has done it. Right? Josh. Did you get. You did. You got in on your. On your. Toe plan league. All right. Look at that. Good for us. And the Falcon. We got. We said he can't be here this week because I assume he's not in a championship.
Yeah. And he doesn't come to work very much. Right. He's probably on the toilet right now. Enjoy the holiday, everybody. Thanks for. Following along. Enjoy the families. We'll catch you Thursday.
