offense in points per game in 2021. And for those who say, wait, what? 2020, points per game, they were 14th. They were eighth in plays, third in rushing yards, fifth in rushing touchdowns. Only 24th in passing yards. But this is an emerging offense. You have superstar Nick Chubb, who people are taking in the first round. Kareem Hunt was incredible as a backup running back.

You might say you have the ghost of Odell Beckham, but he's at least going to help in the offense of the Cleveland Browns, maybe not so much your fantasy team. But you have a lot of good players over there, Jason. Are you going to buy the emergence second year with Kevin Stefansky jumping into the top 10? Can the Cleveland Browns of Baker Mayfield do it? Yeah, I think it's an important question because obviously fantasy points come really on the back of...

scoring offenses. So we have statted out every single player on every single team for the ultimate draft kit. And so I actually have the data as to my opinions. This is not just a narrative. I think they're going to be good. I currently have Cleveland down as my number eight ranked.

offense in total points scored by offensive skill position players. And yeah, so I do think they're, I mean, this is me. I've been the kind of anti-Odell Beckham one of us. He is ranked a little bit lower in my rankings than in yours. A little bit. And Andes, but even including that, right? Like, including what I have him down for and what I have Jarvis down for and Chubb. I mean,

I still see them according to my rankings as a top 10 offense. I think the defense is going to be much more improved, but this is a running team. This is a team that if they could run the ball 50 times a game, barely pass the ball and win the game, I think that's what they'd want to do. And I think they're going to be able to do it, you know, a handful of times this year. I love the Cleveland Brown's outlook from a real-life NFL standpoint. I think they will be contending for that division.

And we wanted to highlight this because while Nick Chubb is a first round pick back of the first, after that, I mean, sixth round is where Kareem Hunt and Odell Beckham are, eighth round is where Jarvis Landry is, Baker Mayfield and the 13th. If you feel like this is going to be a team that performs to the level of a top 10 offense, that's some really low 80Ps that you can scoop up and just get a piece of that offense and see if your player hits.

Yeah, I mean, it does make sense. I think that makes sense for specifically a player like Kareem Hunt, who was good last year. And if you're projecting this to be, like, the thing is, is if you're projecting them to be a top 10 scoring offense, that's not necessarily.

great for wide receivers if you're projecting that coming via winning games and running the clock out and all of that but there are there are teams and we've had this in the past where um you know you've got three highly ranked wide receivers on a team but yet the quarterback is lowly ranked or vice versa where it's like you're you're drafting this quarterback high but none of his weapons those things can still

match up. You know, right next to the Cleveland Browns, I have the San Francisco 49ers as my number nine scoring offense. And that's a team that I'm not really excited about, you know, I'm not drafting the running max high. Right. I'm not personally going after Iyuk and Debo for injury concerns. I would want George Kittle. But it's kind of a similar thing where you know there's going to be fantasy points scored. But now in fantasy football, you have to say, well, what's the reliability?

the startability of those points, how they're going to come in my redraft or keeper or dynasty league. Baker Mayfield was much better for fantasy over the second half. You had a month stretch from weeks 12 through 15 where he was a top 12 quarterback, including a number three overall finish and a number two. And I'm looking at remembering, so week seven, Baker Mayfield went out and threw 300 yards.

and five passing touchdowns, and was the QB6? What happened in week seven? Where my man's throwing five touchdowns, and he can't even break into the top five. News and notes from Around the League, presented by Sleeper. We got a report out of ESPN that Damien Harris is the Patriots number one running backing, quote, it's pretty decisive. Yeah, they were able to look at Sony Michelle this year. Okay, that seems unfair. Right, they saw him play, and they said, Damien Harris, he's pretty good, huh?

I mean, I have Damien Harris as the clear leader in the rushing attempts. I've got him at 232 rushing attempts. Sonya Michelle's next up with 88. So I've already before this news assumed. I mean, when they were all healthy last year, it was Damian Harris's job already. So this is really, to me, a question because he's not involved in the passing game, is just a question about quarterback.

Who's the quarterback? Because if Cam Newton is the quarterback, then the goal line opportunities, which is really the only way Damien Harris has a lot of value because he's not a pass-catching guy, that just goes poof. I mean, Cam Newton had double, did he have double-digit rushing touchdowns last year? It sounds right. I want to say he did. He was just scoring touchdowns all the time. But then if Mack Jones takes over, that is much, much better.

for Damien Harris. Which is, it is also being reported that it is a legitimate competition between Cam Newton and Mack Jones. How are you feeling about that competition right now? Do you think Cam Newton really has the leg up or is he simply the veteran? He's getting the veteran bump right now and that Mac Jones can steal this job and be the weak one started. I think Cam Newton has a legitimate leg up.

This is a team that wants to win football games. The only thing that matters to them. They're not giving a veteran bump. They just want to win games. And their defense is going to be great. We forget how many players, how many important pieces opted out for COVID last season and all the improvements that the Patriots are going to have.
