I think both could happen very easily, but Kelsey, the better value here than going second in the fourth round, if you agree with that projection. Absolutely. I've got Jimmy ahead of Kelsey. I think he finishes the year ahead of Kelsey, but I would much rather have Kelsey in the fourth than Jimmy in the second, because it's nominal difference in points in fantasy production. The interesting thing for the owner who took Kelsey was the kind of strategy that David was working, where he started running back.

went wide receiver, went quarterback, went tied in. So he took one from each of the major positions. And so it'll be interesting to see how his team ends up when he started with Shady, Des, Breeze, Kelsey, which is a good foundation, absolutely. But what did he fill in the gaps with? Yeah. And for me, in this round, what surprises me is Marty McBry. Yeah. Martavis Bryant goes way too high. Way too high. Way too high for me.

Middle of the fourth round on a guy who, you know, this is my general philosophy. I draft good players and good teams with good opportunities and good talent. Martavis Bryant is a good player. But he's still, I mean, we can assume maybe he gets more snaps, but he was still splitting with Wheaton, and he's the number two. To me, I really like, Jordan Matthews went after him, Andre Johnson went after him, Brandon Cooks goes after him. To me, Martavis is a huge reach here as the six pick of the fourth.

For sure. I like Martavis Bryant. When you say those three things you're looking for, I think he's got all three of those things. But so do in bigger ways, those guys you mentioned. Yeah, I mean, he should never go ahead of Jordan Matthews and Andre Jones. Even Amari Cooper. Okay, so Amari Cooper or Martavis Bryant, Jason. Oh, Amari Cooper without a doubt. Mike? Oh, probably Cooper, but it could be Bryant. Golden Tate or Martavis Bryant? Martin. Really? Both of you? Yeah. Okay.

Just curious. I like doing those comparisons, especially when you see it laid out right here. Matt Ryan goes next after Martavis Bryant. So you got Matt Ryan, Jordan Matthews, Frank Gore, Latavius Murray, Carlos Hyde, and Andre Johnson. A lot of running back value here at the back half of the fourth round. You got Gore, Murray, Hyde, potentially three starters, right? Yeah. In the back of the fourth, how do you get away with that? I was so pissed off.

Because you know Frank Gore is my guy, and he almost came down to me in the fourth where I would have been so happy with him, but I had to get... I'm not...

high on Carlos Hyde, but when I looked at who was left that was kind of leaving a big gap there. So I took Carlos Hyde, but man, I was two spots away from Nab and Frank Gore there. And I think that there's a huge gap between those two. I see Frank Gore. A lot of people don't. No, I realize that. But I, I mean, in my projections, I just think he's a guaranteed RB2. He is going to be a predominant.

ball carrier. He's going to catch the ball. He's going to be on a high-powered offense. He's getting the workload. I mean, he's pretty much a bell cow, and people are just afraid of the age. But he's got the talent, the opportunity, and the high-powered offense. He's got it all. Yeah, I agree. I have Gore as a two as well right now. Latavius Murray there towards the end of the fourth. I imagine that's where he's going to go. And I'm just still not feeling good about Murray.

He's going to be a guy that... Latavius. Yeah, Latavius Murray, where you have to pick and choose your guys, as everyone knows, where you make a deal with yourself saying, I'm 100% fine if I'm wrong about this guy. And he's a guy who, like, maybe I'm wrong, but I'm going to let other people take him. I don't care if I'm wrong. I'm not going to make the gamble on him.

I think you're alone on that one now. I was a little bit worried before the draft, but seeing what they did during the draft, which was nothing to get in the way of Latavus Murray. And I think Amari Cooper opening up a little bit more, you know, maybe not stacking the box so much. I'm getting higher and higher on Latavis Murray.

really think that a rookie receiver is going to change an entire crappy offense. No, no, no, but it just means there's going to be another option. I mean, you're literally, last year, it was James Jones. Right, but James Jones actually had a really good catch percentage. I think he was around 70%. Well, I think the problem here is, okay, if Latavius Murray, you drop him on one of the higher echelon offenses as the starter. He's a first second round pick, right? Maybe, but it changes my opinion for sure. Yeah, okay.

The offense doesn't have to go from 20th, 25th to number one. He just has to get better. And if you put Crabtree and Cooper and another year for Derek Carr. And let's actually say put Murray on the team. Because last year Murray didn't get hardly any carries. I mean, they rode, you know, they rode MJD into the ground into retirement. It's a curiosity factor that I think I just don't want the Raider part to bias.

Everything, right? Same issue that I had with Yeldon. I'm warming up on Yeldon because it's just too easy as a fantasy player to go, oh, gosh, the Jags. Oh, the Raider, no chance for the Raiders. Yelden, to me, has the opportunity to be a three-down back. I don't think Murray's going to be a three-down guy when you signed. Roy Hulu. Hulu. Hulu's a spectacular third down back. How do you sign that guy and not put him in?

No, that's a very fair point. And that's why he's here, right? I don't think this is the wrong place. I mean, for me, I probably bump him to the top of the fourth, maybe back of the third. I would be happy and content-taking in there. But, you know, I'm not talking about bumping him way up. But that's a good take. I wanted to mention one thing on Gore, too, in case people aren't aware. Get your ears out on this. I am not sure that Vic Ballard or Boom Herron is going to be the handcuff you want for Frank Gore.

Oh. I think their sixth round pick is a guy they really like Josh Robinson, okay? Five-eight running back. They drafted him in the sixth round. They talked them up a lot. And the thing about Vic Ballard and Boom-Haron is they just seem like guys on the field, kind of the way I felt about Monte Ball last year, where Josh Robinson offers something different. And so keep an ear out, keep an eye out in the preseason for Josh Robinson because I'm not sure. You know what you just said to me? What?

Frank Gore is going to be great this year. You know what? You're right. You're right. Because you just named a bunch of nothing behind him. Well, Boom Heron is actually, he's not a runner to me. He's a guy who needs to get the dump and get it in space. And then he can produce, which is what he did last year. When he's trying to run between the tackles, it just wasn't the greatest thing. So that's why I will.

Could agree with that take. I would have to study up more. I think in a doubt. But, yeah, no, I agree with, I do agree with your. That's more for dynasty players to pay attention to. Dynasty players, he is a guy to grab for sure. I could not agree more with that. So back half of the fourth, we all picked. I took Matt Ryan in the fourth. What are your thoughts on that pick? Too early? No, it's around four, if I'm going to start pulling the trigger on a quarterback who I think is.

Fifth QB off the board. If I'd want a guy who I believe he's going to be a top five quarterback, round four is generally the earliest I would do it. So Matt Ryan there, which I can't remember where I have him, but I have him super high. You've heard his talk up. Sure. The Falcon offense constantly. And I think Matt Ryan is going to have a massive season. So getting him in the fourth, when you've already got a foundation of positional players.

is not the worst thing for me. Yeah, I agree. It's been a while since we've actually talked about Kyle Shanahan coming in and what it's going to do to Julio Jones and to Matt Ryan. But Matt Ryan is a... Julio! He is definitely a quarterback to Target in your draft. And if he's not getting the love come draft season and he's dropping down to the...

fifth round, you grab them and get great value. Here, I think that he's not necessarily a good ADP value, but I still think he's going to return on where you're getting him here. So I don't have any problem with the pick. Yeah, yeah. So one interesting fact about this round, the fourth round, before we move on to go through the fifth, is Mike ends up with Andre Johnson as the last pick of the fourth. T.Y. Hilton was the first pick of the fourth round. I'm not sure I have any problems with that disparity. I kind of thought Andre might.

drop a little bit more. I like his value, but I like him here. I mean, I'm bookending, so it was either him go at the end of the fourth or the beginning of the fifth. Sure, sure. And so in the beginning of the fifth, you went Isaiah Corwell, Cleveland running back. Brandon Cooks out of New Orleans went next. Julian Edelman. Then Russell Wilson comes off the board in the fifth round, fifth pick of the fifth round, sorry, fourth pick of the fifth round. And then Todd Gurley, Todd Gurley goes. Coobes.

here in the fifth and Amari Cooper right behind him. And so we saw Melvin Gordon, we didn't talk about him, go off the board in the fourth. Yeah, which I think that's... Do you think those are going to flip-flop at all? No, I think Gordon's going to go higher. Okay. I think he'll start creeping into the third time. I agree. And I think if you get him in the fourth, you're getting a very good value. He's clearly going to get the workload.

Yeah, I was just thinking about it for a second, because in dynasties, you see Gurley going ahead of Gordon in a lot of mock dynasty drafts, rookie drafts, that is? And so I think I've been used to seeing that over and over again, it makes sense that Gordon should be the starter from day one versus Gurley. But, again, that's something that Gurley's going to rocket up the boards if he starts looking healthy and he's not, or if he just doesn't end up on pup. I mean, if he doesn't end up on pup, how high does he climb? Even still. Or does he go from the middle of the fifth to where? I think he goes into the third. I don't know about that. If he's not on the pub list, I can...

Yeah, I can see that happening. Top of the third. Maybe. You're saying top of the third as in close to the second? If he's healthy? He's still playing in the NFC West. He's still on not a very good team. And he, even if he's, I mean, you say, quote, healthy, but I mean, he's not going to be as healthy as he'll be later. Stronger offensive line. Top 10 pick on him. I agree with that. I agree. And that's two things, right? How he'll perform versus how he'll be drafted. Right. I think perception might move him up. But.

Amari Cooper goes off the board here to six pick, six pick of the fifth round. He's ahead of Sammy Watkins. Who'd you rather have, Watkins or Cooper? Oh, Amari Cooper, hands down. Okay. Same with you, Mike. I'm thinking about it. Maybe. I'm going to take Watkins. Okay, Julian Edelman or Amari Cooper. Cooper. Cooks or Cooper?

Cooks? I would say Cooks. Obviously, I drafted him ahead of... Yeah, you drafted. That's a very interesting question. I think I would go with Cooks, even though he's not kind of the... Is Cooks the top option now? Yeah, Cooks is the clear. No, no, no, no, no. No, he's not. He's not the clear. You're saying Colston? You have other options there. I'm just saying... Okay, so who's the number one? I think it's still Colston in my mind. I wouldn't draft Colston head of him, but I mean, like...

Depth chart, not in the slot, outside receiver. Yeah, I think all year Cooks is going to be the number one there for Drew Breeze, and I love that. I still, I was actually a little surprised, I will admit, when I put together my numbers and I actually went through and statted out every, you know, all the quarterback numbers, all the wide receiver numbers, and how many receptions, how many yards per reception, how many fumbles, and did the whole kit and caboodle, I was a little surprised that Cooks was a,

lower, he was lower to me than I thought he would be, but he's still going to produce very well on that office without. Nothing wrong with Cooks. Did you, did you stat butt fumbles? No, I did not stat butt fumbles. Those are a lot of points. You know, they didn't draft a wide receiver. So Cooks is going to be great. Jimmy Graham's gone. Kenny Sills is gone. Cooks will be great. Pretty good value. Josh Hill is there. Yeah, pretty good value for you in the fifth round, considering he could be a number one producer under.

That Drew Brees guy, he's all right. Yeah, he's a decent quarterback. I like this run coming up here. What, the quarterback run? Two of my favorite guys. Oh, my goodness. Back to back. Back to back. Back half of the fifth round. We've got Sammy Watkins, Cam Newton, Matt Stafford, Golden T.J. Yeldon. Great pick. Yeah. And Big Ben. You're talking about Cam and snapback, right? Oh, of course. Matthew Stafford. Two guys you do not like at all. As you say, were you just...

Was it really hard for you to pass on them at the first pick of the fifth round? It was. I saw them. They were still available. And I thought, there is a steaming pile of crap that I do not want on my fantasy team. All you probably wanted to do is draft at that third to last pick of the fifth round where you were getting both those guys off the board ahead of you. Well, we've got a water bet on cam. So we'll see. Because the fantasy footballers as a whole does not agree on the cam take.
