Brooks, I've noticed we haven't had as many voicemail questions since you decided to air somebody's messed up voicemail question. Because there's some nerves out there, I think. How do you feel about that? That's just a one-time thing. Okay. We're not going to do that special moment. I hope not. Don't worry. You're safe. You're calling. It's a safe space. Well, now, why are you winking while you say that? Yeah, that doesn't make sense. You know the people can't see you, right?

All right, on Twitter, let's start here. Zach writes in and says, I have the 102 and I plan to take Dalvin Cook. Jefferson is around the turn. Is it a bad idea to take two players from the same team with my first two picks? I would be taking Jefferson over Waller, Keenan, McLaren, Carson. Very common question, right? People want to know, they want to know, is it okay? Am I going to be okay if I take two players on the same team? Right. So when it comes to two players from the same team,

A quarterback and a wide receiver, that is the preferred way to go about it. Don't force the quarterback stack. Like you're drafting them, you know, two rounds ahead of their ADP just because you really want to have this stack and that explosion of points. Don't force the stack. Yes, don't force the stack. Let it, let the stack fall to you. Come to you. Let the stack. I mean, stacks fall down, right? Sure. Sometimes. If they're too high. But anyways, the point, back to the real question. A little bit, a little bit it was in my head.

But a running back and a wide receiver, they're not going to score on the exact same play. You're capping your upside on a weekly basis, and it's difficult when you're talking elite players like Dalvin Cook and Justin Jefferson. That's going to be the majority of the Vikings points, at least the way that I'm projecting. I know Adam Thielen is there, but you have the same thing with the Cowboys Zeke and C.D. Lamb and Amari Cooper, do you put those guys together? To me...

In those early rounds, I don't prefer it, especially because there's other good players there. Waller is a great pick this year. Keenan Allen is ranked just right around Justin Jefferson for me. So if I could pivot to a different team, try and capture.

Their touchdowns on both teams on any given week, that's the way I'd prefer to do it. Yeah, in those early rounds, it's not like if you avoid Justin Jefferson, you're ruined. You're the only guy. You know, when you're drafting Dalvin Cook, Calvin Ridley is a lot of times there for you in the second round. That, I mean, I prefer Calvin Ridley, but, you know, that's a great pivot so that you don't have that stack. Or.

Alternatively, if you are someone that is like, I just have to have Justin Jefferson, I want them bad, but I'm at the two and I'm worried about that stack, you could go Alvin Camara at the two if you're worried about that stack. But I think the right thing to do is just look at other options in that second round because all the players there are very good. And obviously, if you have a stack of players, that offense can't have an off week.

or you're going to have an off week as a fantasy team. So the only times that I do that, you know, without fear is an offense that I think won't really have more than one bad week on the year. Yeah, you'd rather do that with the Chiefs offense. Right. The Vikings defense first, not a prolific offense. I guess there really aren't, when you think about it, other than the Cowboys with like Zeke and one of their wideouts.

And this situation with Cook and Jefferson, like you're not going to end up with Devante Adams and Aaron Jones. You could end up with Alamacemar and Michael Thomas. Yeah. How do you feel about that? Fine with it because I know Michael Thomas is coming in the fifth, six round at that point. Right. So, all right, let's move on. Let's move on. Twitter Grant writes in and says first time in a 14 team league, which is a larger league. What should I do differently for my draft?

Well, first, if you did make it into the fantasy footballers listener league, this is the time where you turn off your podcast. It's a 14 teamer, and we don't want you knowing any strategy that will help you win now that they have left. When I am in a 14 team league, I am much later with quarterback and tight end. I feel that the depth that running back and wide receiver.

It dries up quick, and as the season goes on, it is hard to find quality options in a 14-te-te-team league. Quarterbacks, we know they're replaceable. I think the real question comes at tight-end, whether or not you really want that advantage because it is so hard and there's so few tight-ins. The way I look at it is the entire league sucks at tight-end.

other than the three teams that got the three big guys. So most of my matchups, I'm going to be about the same at tight end as my opponent, almost every single week outside of those top three matchups. So I would rather have an extra running back and extra wide receiver from those early rounds. Yeah, because those thin out so quickly. If you flip it the other way and you go to a 10 team league, like 12 is the standard. But now you shrink it up. That's when I'm more prone to grab, like even.

Like we've been aggressive about the top three tight ends. I'd be more aggressive in a 10 or even an 8 team league. People play in those. We always say I'd rather play in an 8 team league with seven other managers that actually care than forcing my league up to 10 with two guys that ignore the roster and don't play. But do you agree with that? Would you kind of force the issue in those ones? And would you force it more at quarterback, I guess, is a question. Because.

Tight ends maybe you do, but do you do that with the quarterback position as well, knowing that if you have the top two, top three quarterback, you do have a big advantage. You do, but we've talked about the safety of early round quarterbacks and that it's not a guarantee that you take Lamar Jackson in the third round like last year. There's no guarantee that he's actually going to be the number one. There's no guarantee with anybody, but I'm saying we've seen the history.

of the hit rate of early-round quarterbacks, and they're not necessarily that safe. Meanwhile, Travis Kelsey has been basically the safest player in fantasy football for the past five years, and so I move him up. In a 10-teamer, probably pick 105, and you could even talk me into him at pick 104. I think if I was really in it, I would take Zeke.

over Travis Kelsey, but that's a fair argument. And one that I'm fine. If you want to take Kelsey right there to have the advantage, where quarterback, the depth is massive. When there's only 10 starting quarterbacks, you have even more players on the waiver wire to choose from for matchup streaming should you miss on your quarterback. All right. Let's move forward to this question from Philip. Hi. Is he a poet? I'm from Austria.

Bonjour. Makes a clarity point here that says it's not Germany. Oh, okay. Bonjour then. I heard Australia. So, and that is also not Germany, just in case people are curious. Right. Big fan of the podcast. Have a question regarding the management of our league. How many commissioners do you recommend to have in a fantasy football league? Currently, we have only one and the dude is a very lazy one. So maybe we can discuss leadership in leagues.

Co-commissioners, do you have a treasurer if you deal with a money league? Somebody that organizes hangouts. I have found that in a lot of our leagues, I mean, pretty much every league we've ever been in it, there's a commission. There's one main commission. That's how it starts. But over time, the leagues that we've been in longer, there tends to be like, hey, let's give commission powers to another person or another person just so that transactions can get.

made a little bit easier. I have no problem adding another person, especially maybe this person is super lazy and maybe he's the worst. Or maybe he's just super busy. And you can help him by adding another. I know, Andy, you used to be the commission in the league of record and you have handed most of those duties off just because we've been busy. And I think that's a good solution for any league that is struggling with like,
