That Peyton Barber game might have actually damaged Josh Jacobs moving forward. Man, I thought we were misquoting. So Josh Jacobs came back. Limited. It limited. And then Gruden's like, yeah, I love Peyton Barber. I mean. That's correct. I love John Gruden. He's quite the character. Yeah. He was right, though, right? Yeah. Peyton Barber was outstanding.

14:22 ↗

Jonathan Taylor limited on Thursday with a knee injury. Again, Darrell Henderson remained limited on Thursday with the rib injury. We'll see if he plays. Dalvin Cook, back out of practice, limited with an ankle. What are the other big headlines here? Deontay Johnson, practiced in full. Yeah, that's a big one. So going to siphon a few of the 650 targets heading. Deiante, practiced in full. Meanwhile, the other two guys, Juju and Claypool, were limited.

14:51 ↗

Yeah, that was pretty ironic. Also important, I think, is the Seattle situation. Tyler Lockett didn't practice on Thursday, and D.K. Metcalf was limited on Thursday. And not to be outdone in that matchup, as soon as we saw the news about the two Seattle wide receivers and said, wow, you know, like 49ers may end up, you know, winning this game. They're like, hold on a second. George Kittle didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday. And Kyle Shanahan came out this morning and said there's no guarantee he's playing.

15:21 ↗

Gross. Mike referred to him as a very disrespectful George Brittle. Look, I stand by in my statement. I mean, it's right there. I feel like that thing, the paperwork has been drawn up for that nickname, but you shouldn't sign it until he misses the game. You know what I mean? That's fair. Put the pin in your hand. You're sitting over the paper. Just, just.

15:45 ↗

lick yeah i got to make sure this ink is flowing yeah but but just don't sign it unless he misses the game okay but that would be a huge disappointment and that was one of the things that potentially separated waller from kiddle in draft season was if you were making a decision between them and you were worried about injuries which that's that seems like it's a san francisco thing at this point yeah the the 49ers have not been able to stay healthy uh eliza quarterback eliza mitchell

16:13 ↗

was also limited again. Kyle Shanahan said status is in limbo. I don't know how you could trust. I mean, I would expect Elijah to probably miss that game. I mean, if you're looking at a desperation pivot at tight end at this point, do you just pivot to his replacement? Like would Ross Dwelly end up with enough work to make you happy? Would you go to a Will Disley with Everett may be missing the game? Would you go to...

16:39 ↗

Somebody else like Evan Ingraham? I would rather go with Evan Ingraham or Will Disley. Okay. What if I mention that Jack Doyle has missed Wednesday and Thursday's practice? That's big. That's gigantor. It's gigantic. Oh, my God. Oh, Ali Cox, done? Probably not. I know. Yeah. But he's huge.

17:01 ↗

Hey, Brooks, anything else big that you want to talk about? Well, we do know. Elijah Moore has been ruled out with the concussion, and Jason ruined it. The news that Jameson Crowder was limited in practice. Do you want me to act like I haven't heard it before? Yeah. Yeah, let me go back. All right, tell me the news. So Elijah Moore is out. Yeah, okay. Opening up some slot snaps for Jameson. What? Wait, he's playing. He's back. Jameson? I think he might play.

17:29 ↗

He is expected to play. You want to know who else is expected to play and be active? Denzo Mims. So, uh, okay. Mims the word on that interest. I mean, we're not, we're not. Are you playing, uh, Crowder? I would totally maybe play him. I would not. I'm still hesitant. I know Braxton Berrios has certainly been, uh, a heavily targeted player. Um, and they could use Crowder. I just, I'm, I'm taking a wait and see approach on that. I think Crowder will take.

17:57 ↗

Everything that Berrios was getting instantaneously. Yeah, and... Which I wasn't playing Berrios, so there is something to be said there. Sterling Shepherd, Darius Layton did not practice on Thursday. The one thing, the last thing I'll say in the news before we move on, we talked about Darrell Henderson remaining limited. The matchup against the Cardinals is very, very good. So if Sony Michelle would be a smash star. I would start him over really good options if...

18:27 ↗

Darrell misses that game. Also, I don't know if you guys knew this, but James McRowder was activated and is going to be available. What? Whoa, man, this week? What? Join thefoot.com. You can get the injury blitz podcast that comes after the practice reports on Friday from our very own Matthew Betts. He's a heck of a guy, isn't he? Oh, heck of a guy. Oh, he's the Betts. The birthday boy. Yesterday?

18:54 ↗

I'm pretty sure it's yesterday. Yes. Well, not his birthday anymore. Thanks, Brooks. Where were you yesterday? Hey, guess what? It's not my birthday today either. Oh, me too. Jason, don't you celebrate birthday a week? Yeah, but it leads up to the birthday. It's for Jason, though. It leads up to it and it's exclusive for me. Happy birthday, bets. Yesterday. That was today's news and notes presented by Sleeper, the leader in breaking news alerts. You know, you get Brooks a new microphone.

19:22 ↗

Yeah, what is this? He can do whatever he wants. Ridiculous. All right. Download Sleeper, get their breaking alerts channel, and beat everybody else in your league to the latest news, which unfortunately is crazy important in fantasy football because things are happening all the time. Shall we enter the forecast? Let's go. Fantasy forecast. Yesterday's show? Washington, Atlanta, the Texans, the Bills.

19:57 ↗

The lions, the bears, the Panthers, the Cowboys, the Colts, the Dolphins, the Browns, the Vikings, and the Giants Saints games. So we have eight games to cover today. And let's begin with the Tennessee Titans at 2 and 1 taking on the New York Jets, O and 3. Draft King Sportsbook Line has the Titans six and a half point favorites on the road over under a 44.5 points, so it's not up there. We know the injuries on the Tennessee side. Ordinarily, this would be a really strong matchup for Tana Hill.

20:27 ↗

on the road with those guys active, neither practiced on Thursday talking about A.J. Brown and Julio Jones. I mean, what do you really, do you just look another direction than Ryan Tanyhill without his weapons? Yeah, I think you need to. It's not to say he can't get stuff done, but this is this is one of those games where, I mean,

20:52 ↗

How can the Jets stop Derek Henry? I mean, let's say that the Titans come out and say, man, we're missing our wide receivers. We're still going to throw the ball. There's still some options there to catch it, but that's not where you're special. What if we told the other team, where we're going to hand the ball off 100% of the place, if they told them that and the Jets exclusively game planned for that, I don't think they could stop it. What if their plan was they just get out of Derek Henry's way?

21:21 ↗

every single time and try to see if he will actually get tired like if they let him run in empty the gas tank four 80 yard sprints to the house does derrick henry then get tired so he can't do it anymore these are great strategies i will pass them on to the o and three jets he really is the battering ram running back of football where you're trying to break into the castle and you just keep

21:47 ↗

Yep. Just keep doing it eventually. They get tired. The doors come down. Henry, you obviously play. What about if you were facing Tannahill or a pivot to like Teddy Bridgewater against Baltimore? Would you stick with Tannahill and figure he finds a way? I would stick with Tannehill in that situation. If you could pivot to Kirk Cousins versus the Cleveland Browns, I think I would do that one. Yeah, or Derek Carr. There are options that I would play over Ryan Tannahill. Would you play any Jets?

22:18 ↗

Would I play any Jets? Sorry, you were probably saying something about Ten Hill. Go ahead. No, I don't think I would play any Jets this week. I mean, you've got the Revenge game narrative. What about he's here this week? That is incredible news. No, I wouldn't. If I were to play anybody, it would be probably Corey Davis. I'm not playing anybody. I'm O-U-T. I'm out. They will have to pass the ball, though, because I think the Titans are going to.

22:45 ↗

run them out of town. This stat on Derek Henry is unbelievable. Did you see this in games where Tennessee was favored by seven or more points since 2018? He has averaged 24 carries, 142 yards, 1.4 touchdowns, including three 45 plus point fantasy performances. But they're only favored by six and a half. Oh, did the line move?

23:08 ↗

Oh, no. Completely disregard it. Throw it out that half a point. He's going to stink this week. On the ten-hill question, you see this, the Jets' defenses are giving up so many points to running backs. They're only giving up 12.8 points to fantasy quarterbacks. Classic. Which is second lowest? They are unneeded. They are.

23:29 ↗

completely unnecessary. Once you're up by three scores, you don't need to throw the ball. This is why I'm not playing Tanna Hill. I do think, you know, if AJ Brown and Julio Jones are out, you do have last week's sensation. Oh, I want to hear you pronounce it. Oh, man. Let's hear it. You don't know how. Believe it is Nick Westbrook Akeen. Yeah, that's what I was just about to say. I know, I know. And I just, I jumped in front of it before you. Thank you.

23:58 ↗

Yeah, I'm with you. I'd probably just avoid the passing game there. It hasn't exactly been a well-oiled machine through three weeks anyways. Maybe the Jets aren't giving up as many fancy points to those positions because they give up about 7 to 14 to the defense every week. Before we move on to the very exciting Chiefs Eagles matchup, I want to thank today's sponsors for keeping this show going. 26:37 ↗

The Kansas City Chiefs, the one and two, Kansas City Chiefs travel to Philadelphia to take on the one and two Eagles. Sounds like they're both the same. Nope. The D.K. Sportsbook line. Kansas City Road favorites by six and a half points. The over ander is 54 points. That's what we like to see as fantasy players. Yes, we do. Give us them points. The Andy Reed revenge game in Philadelphia, the return of Andy Reed, two straight losses.

27:05 ↗

I don't want to bet against this Kansas City offense in this one, especially when we saw, you know, some of the early season Eagle defense, I don't know, I think the Mirage might have come down after this last week against Dallas. They're also on a short week compared to Kansas City. Look, I know we came out and we thought that Kansas City was going to dispose of Baltimore. Yeah. And they didn't.
