We've seen quarterbacks with dislocated fingers, and it just does not end up well. I will say this to support your issue, and it's not a guarantee that these are the causes. When Carson Palmer hurt his finger last season, it certainly seemed to affect him. Derek Carr has had a couple of bad games. I don't say that that's because of that pinky. But since that pinkie, was not a good game.

14:22 ↗

What about that surprise and active for Theoretic we didn't expect? Just his injury was a little worse than we thought. Yeah. I mean, he'll, he should be back next week. I don't want to have to watch Dwayne Washington play football anymore in his stead. I mean, that's, well, it's either Dwayne Washington or Joyick Bell, pick your poison. Zach Zinner. Give me Zach Zener was, I think he had a concussion scare as well. He did. He left. Surprisingly high amount of positive feedback.

14:50 ↗

over our Val Kilmer Mark Twain discovery. I know that's not news. I'm about to get into the stud muffins, but I, I've seen a ridiculous amount of positive, like Val Kilmer apparently needs to be a slightly larger focus on the show. Hey, more Val. I love Val. I'm fine with that. He had that, like, run of movies where he was everything. Yeah. And then poof. And then poof. And then poof. He ends up in McGruber.

15:19 ↗

That's funny. Last piece of newsworthy information. Alshan Jeffrey is returning from his suspension. He's only owned right now in 63% of leagues. So he is available on a lot of waivers. Granted, he's got Matt Barkley throwing him the ball right now. It doesn't matter. I'd pick him up. This week's fantasy stud muffins. We'll start with the good. We'll start with the good. And that was Mr. Matt Ryan.

15:51 ↗

Three touchdowns carving them up. Yeah. Didn't need Julio. I doubted you, Matt Ryan, and you made you prove him. You doubted him? I did. A lot of people. I did not. Oh, see. I think as soon as Julio was ruled out, a lot of people looked elsewhere. No, Julio, no sinew. No, I was asked that a lot, and I actually took the other approach. I just, I basically just said he'll make his hay through the running backs. Yeah. Which he kind of did, kind of didn't. I had, when I was explaining it, I said, I mean,

16:18 ↗

of any year. This year is far more different for Matt Ryan, that he's not force feeding one target. But the couple years back when Julio Jones, or Matt Ryan was a fantasy force, Julio Jones goes out for the year with his foot, Matt Ryan just fell apart. San Francisco next week for the Falcons. Then Carolina, New Orleans. I mean, that looks great regardless of Julio Jones. Yes. Aaron Rogers and Ryan Tannehill is in this segment. I mean, Aaron Rogers, it should have been in the news that, I mean, he left hobbled.

16:46 ↗

He has a calf situation. It's not expected to be serious, but it's a situation to pay attention to it. I found it interesting that Brett Humley was throwing the ball as much as he was at that point in the game. I found that that could have been indicative of giving him reps and running plays in preparation of a possible start. GIC. But they won the game. They're fighting for the playoffs. I can't imagine Rogers not playing. Not playing.

17:16 ↗

You're right. It's worth bringing up, but he had three touchdowns and carved him up in three quarters, basically. Yesterday, a couple of times, Jason was sitting there watching the games with me, and he's telling me, do you know who the top five quarterbacks in fantasy are right now? And it was like Sam Bradford, Trevor Simeon, Ryan Tannahill. It was gross. I told you at one point because I was really worried my start of the week was Matthew Stafford, and my stream of the week was.

17:42 ↗

Trevor Simeon. Trevor Simeon. And I'm like, man, these guys are sucking. I feel so bad. And then I'd look them up. I'm like, oh, they're the number five and number seven quarterback. The whole league is sucking. I wanted to say this at the beginning. And I hope you understand this out there. We all have our teams that we're rooting for here. I can tell you there is nothing like the pressure. And it's good, right? But the pressure that I feel in delivering for you guys as listeners of the show.

18:11 ↗

during the playoffs, when Sammy Watkins caught the touchdown, that was the single most jubilant moment of yesterday for me. Because I hung so much on him having a good game. And he didn't, you know, he didn't take blow up. But he had an all right game. But for me, like, if you're doubting out there that we care about your teams, do not doubt it. You should have seen the trepidation. Jason was just saying he felt bad about his starts because he's sitting there and we're all doing the same thing. We're all going. We're rooting for these guys that we've.

18:40 ↗

planted a flag on, you know, and when one goes wrong, you know, Russell Wilson's terrible game, I'll take the lumps and I'll weep with you because I, you know, you didn't see that coming. Yeah, we want 10,000 hashtag footclan titles out there. 10 million. Let's start with 10,000. Sorry, billion. You guys are weak. But look, Ryan Tannahill was one of the best quarterbacks of the week with three touchdowns. Yeah, number three on the week. How many people started Ryan Tannahill against the Cardinals? I imagine it's two people.

19:09 ↗

All right, the running backs, stud muffins. There's its own tier here. I, yeah, there's Lev Bell. 38 for 38 carries. And that is correct. That's correct. Yeah. That can't even believe it. He had almost 300 all-purpose yards. That's real? As a running back. 38 carries. Because it was, he wasn't even, it's not like he was.

19:36 ↗

just getting smashed every carry. I mean, he would have a light jaunt and then maybe run out of bounds. He actually walked into the end zone once. Yeah, he did. 38 for 236 and 3, 4 for 62 through the air. Maybe one of those rule changes isn't to take him out, but he counts as two running back spots. There you go. With that many carries, it's like, unbelievable. What's crazy is that, you know, I believe he even finished where the second highest.

20:03 ↗

Fantasy producer, if you doubled his score. Are you all right there? Not really. If you doubled his score, then you get Levi-on-Bel. So if you had Levi-on-Bel, you basically won. Yeah. Yeah, it was a heck of a game for him, and the game stayed close enough to where they didn't need to pull him. Right. The game just was teetering on that line.

20:22 ↗

Balal Powell had a monster game after 14 went down. 29 carries for 1.45 and 2. And on the other side, talk about efficiency. Carlos Hyde. Man alive. He looked. 17 for 193. And just in case you want the math on that. Did we? That's a solid 11.3 of carry. That's a first down every time you touch the ball. Did we mention the Matt Forte injury? Yes, I did. I did mention the Matt Forte injury. He went down with the knee injury. We'll talk about it even more in just a couple minutes.

20:52 ↗

He heard a crackling popping, and he was in his knee. Yeah, he's going to be having an MRI today. I think he'll miss some time. He was one snap away from Rice Krispies. Okay. That's not good. That's not good. I got you. I was with you on that. All right. Yeah, Carlos Hyde, every time we looked up, we were watching these games together. And, you know, when we looked over to the Niners game, it was just Carlos Hyde was running free. It seemed like every play he had about 11 yards, and he did.

21:21 ↗

Yeah, I mean, and I've been saying this for, you know, I don't know, about two months. I think he is an absolute RB1. Next week he gets Atlanta. Their defense is looking better and better. But I'm starting Carlos Hyde against any matchup right now. Jeremy Hill had a good game against Cleveland, 25 for 11 and 1. We did? This is Cleveland. His two best games of the year. Here's a bunch of players that did not let you down. Shady.

21:45 ↗

Got it taken care of through the passing game and scoring at the end. Lamar Miller. There's my boy. Big game. Not a lot of confidence in the injury concerns. And it had a great game. Blue was running a ton. I felt like every time I looked up, it was blue. I'm like, oh, crap. Kevin Coleman, Latavius Murray, Ty Montgomery, Todd Gurley got it done. So, Robert Kelly. Yeah. Doug Martin.

22:10 ↗

A lot of good guys. I mean, for running backs, running backs were not the position that lay you down. Your stalwart running backs for the most part did their job. Yeah, they did enough. Is there anyone in that list who you think, eh, this won't continue. Time Montgomery. Okay. Yeah, time on. So you're not all back in on Monty? Well, I mean, I think it'll be all right. But I'm not, he had the least amount of carries of this group.

22:37 ↗

Yeah, I believe C Michael had 10 carries. So Starks have a couple. If they would make Ty Montgomery just their lead back. Yeah. Because he looks great as a running back. When they hand him the ball up the middle, out to the side, he looks great. I think he kind of is, but they just don't want the workload. Yeah. I don't know. Before we move on to the wide receiver, stud muffins, I do want to thank today's sponsor. You know him. Harry's, look, guys can be very hard to shop for.

23:07 ↗

And these, I mean, I have three of them in the office right here that they sent us. They have these gift packs and they look great. Like it's a great thing to receive for Christmas. What do I love about Harry's? I love everything about Harry's. The cost, it's low. The quality, it's high. Absolutely love it. Close shave. Comfortable shave. They're great.

You've got to use those little pinching fingers. Pinch. Zoom. Is it how it sounds? Pinch. Zoom. Yeah, that's what I. Well, that's what I say when I do it. So Mike and I.

25:43 ↗

We're going to talk wider series. Mike and I are in a listener league playoff battle right now. We are going mono e mono. What do I need? I need the Baltimore defense to not score what seven or something? Five or six. Five or six seven. What do you think, Jason? What's the, you're going to handicap this one for us? You need the Baltimore defense to not score six. This is Patriots. I'm going to say 55% chance they do not.

26:08 ↗

So you're in my favor? I am in your favor. But the score is 69.5 to 76.4. We're good. That is not. Yeah, I had a lousy week. One touchdown from the Ravens and all. Thank you, I'm on the bye. So I'll see one of you guys later. Yeah, maybe next week. So wide receivers that delivered, man, T.I Hilton looks good right now. And you know what else? Dorset looks so bad. He is so bad right now. And I want to bring this up because.

26:35 ↗

Remember how bad Devante Adams was last year with the Hall of Fame quarterback throwing on the ball and he dropped it all the time. You heard it here first. MVP, 2017. Not MVP. Philip Dorset. But I agree. I have this temptation when I watch Philip Dorset drop these passes. I just want to, I want to just write him off. Bury him. Cut him out forever. You should. Yeah, you should for this year. No, you should for next year too. And maybe you're right.

27:01 ↗

But I'm going to stay open to him next year. The only way that next year matters to me is if Moncrief for Hilton are injured. I don't see why you would bank on Dorset coming back into the fold as a wide receiver three. Randall Cobb and Jordan Nelson are not injured. Yeah, they're the one and two. That's what I'm saying. They're the one and two. Well, they were hurt. Cobb was out. What? For a game or so. For a couple games. All right. Well, all right. No, fair enough. I mean, it's a thought. Just saying don't bury him yet.
