Message and data rates may apply. To the fantasy footballers podcast, coming to you from draft.com studios with your host, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright. Oh, welcome in. Jason is smirking. Mike is bobbing his head. Brooks just got off the set, and Baby Josh is here, too. Oh, it's going to be such a good show.

2:21 ↗

Welcome into the fantasy footballers podcast. It's like you had a sneaky surprise for us or something, Jason. You know, I don't. You just fired up. I've got sneaky surprises even for myself. I never know what I'm going to say. I'm so excited to see what happens. He waits in anticipation for his own words. It's going to be so cool. Be like, oh, I said that. It is Monday. October 29th, Studs and Duds on the show, rising stars on the show today.

2:47 ↗

Fresh off another wild Sunday in the fantasy football prairie. I'm probably going to mix in a lot of Wild West terms today. Uh-oh. Too much red dead. I was literally, you want to know what my smirk was. I have ridden a horse for hours. I'm walking a little bow legging today. That's correct. The smirk actually was I'm scrolling through Twitter because I wanted to pull up something for the show.

3:14 ↗

And while I was there, I saw the picture of how you took in the fourth quarter of the Sunday night football, which is you with the Red Dead Red Dead Redemption projector. And then your amazing core strength of holding the phone with the game on between your legs. In between my legs. Yes. People don't even know about the holloway thighs. They're strong.

3:37 ↗

You don't see them below the desk on the YouTube, but they're just like sake. Maurice, Maurice Jones Drew style. That's, yeah, right. I'm surprised your phone wasn't just crushed into a million pieces. Oh, that, thank you. Thank you. You guys have never complimented my thighs like today. Like a rooster. Did you see the other, did you see the other tweet Brooks put up this morning?

3:58 ↗

Yes. Yeah. Apparently you can remote play your PS4 on a computer. I got to figure this tech out. Yeah. Anyways. Anyways, let's digress into the fantasy football talk. So we can get to Red. So we can get to some Red Day. Like I said, studs and does on the show today. A couple weeks ago, I think Jason was out of the office. I had a little fun. Asked the Foot Clan for some. Well, I think at the time I asked them for metaphors about the weekend. And I got like 200 puns. So now I just asked for puns.

4:28 ↗

about how the weekend's gone for you. So I've got some reaction. And we get that one, you know, one liner reaction from the Foot Clan. And they are so great. Foot Clan, you guys are very funny. And gals are amazing. You are such good people out there. Yes. Jason equates being a good human with pun capabilities. 100%. Look, sometimes you got to laugh it out. And you get a bad beat. If you can't make a good pun.

4:52 ↗

You're a terrible person. Yes. So before I get into the rewind, I'm going to share some. First, lots of hate for James Winston. Oh, that was very desperate. Stephen, you win stun, you lose some. There was another one. James Winston, but he capitalized the I-N-T for intercession. Okay. That's more of a visual pun. Well, yeah, James kind of capitalized the I-N-T all Sunday, long.

5:20 ↗

You've got some Injoku hate. For instance, the Injoku is on me because he goosed. Yeah. No points. You've got to be Injoking me. Ah, that's pretty bad. David Inchokyu, Brooks, you put that one in there? Very nice. Rahim Mostert.

5:41 ↗

The Colonel himself, Colonel Mustard on the bench with the clipboard. That is my absolute favorite. I mean, it was really disappointing. Colonel Mustard not being involved in all of a sudden, Burita being able to stay on the field. Yeah. But the Colonel on the bench with the clipboard. Yes, yes. That's good stuff. Colonel Mustard. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then I don't know what's going on with Doug Baldwin, but he's killing my dynasty team.

6:08 ↗

And he's also, he's killing Matthew, Dud Baldwin. That one's so good. Dud, Dud Baldwin. Just right to the point. Yes. Well done. Simple. Dud Baldwin. Effective. And then a player that I'll transition this one probably into a quick question for you guys. But lots of Kenny Galladay sadness. Like Kenny Holiday. Yeah. Took a holiday. Gala Dunn. Holiday. Yeah, he has.

6:36 ↗

Uh, someone went with the very literal Kenny Golanite. It's no longer day. It's the night. I didn't get that one at first. Uh, no, we're going to pass. Um, um, Trey Boohoo again, Trey Burton with a bad week. I John Brown my pants. Yeah. He, he does that though. That's tough. There's poop in my landry. Oh, that's some dirty landry. Some dirty landry. Um, what, what are you guys doing with, uh,

7:06 ↗

Some of these players that have started hot and you've wanted to kind of anoint them, right? Like even they've stepped into the flames, they were on fire. You want to kind of walk up to them and pin on like an RB2 or you want to pin on a wide receiver one. Kenny Gallaudet being one of those guys that you started to wonder, well, maybe I really do have a superstar here and then maybe not. I think, you know, this is, first of all,

7:35 ↗

Even if you have a superstar in Kenny Galdi, if he is the next great player, the great players have bad performances. So you can't overreact to the dud. But the reason why I've been... The reason why I've been hesitant to anoint him the next great player is because he is not the clear number one for his team. And you can't be the next great player if you're not the clear number one. And sometimes he's not even the clear number two.

8:05 ↗

That's the problem with all three of these guys. That's why a couple weeks ago when the question was posed, who would you rather have? I went with Golden Tate. Because I feel like he is the de facto one. If he's not the one, he's the two. And Marvin Jones and Kenny Galday can switch with I'm the one, I'm the three. No, I'm the one. I'm the three. Yeah, Tate is the floating two at all times. Yeah, so I would rather have the consistency there. All right. Let's get into the rewind. Weekly Rewine.

8:38 ↗

We got a floater. I don't know. I don't know how that happens. But, yeah, I'm not going to use the floating, too, is an explanation anymore. You got to carry the one. Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Tyreek Hill suffered a groin strain. In week eight against the Broncos. This stinks. Yeah. Because this affects two people. Yes, it does. This is, this will be very interesting.

9:06 ↗

Not only, I mean, a groin strain is rough. It takes a few weeks to get back from this injury. What happens with Patrick Mahomes? Now, I'm not saying he will not take. Patrick Mahomes is still going to be great for fantasy football. But Tyreek Hill changes the offense for every single player out there from Travis Kelsey to Cream Hunt to Patrick Mahomes. Completely agree. What?

9:33 ↗

happens to this offense now that they don't have the fastest man in the NFL. So they're going to be fine because of the schedule. Their upcoming next two weeks is the Cleveland Browns, followed by the Arizona Cardinals. So if Tyreek he'll miss. I really wish he had Tyreek for those games. If he misses time, he's going to be fine. I would hope, you know, if this is one of those reoccurring type of injuries that you need to rest up, that they would take the two weeks off. If you've got.

10:02 ↗

Tyreek Hill and Pat Mahomes, you're probably off to a pretty good lead. You can withstand some victories without Tyreek Hill, as we say. Right. And this, I almost made Sammy Watkins my rising star today because not only did he have a great week, but there's in line for guaranteed targets. Exactly. He'll be the one if Tyree Kill is out. But since we don't know the injury intimately yet, I did not. Yeah. And I agree. Watkins should get a huge target bump.

10:32 ↗

but a name to pay attention. I'm sure we'll cover him tomorrow, but we'll be Chris Conley who would step in. And Chris Conley is also very, very fast. He's never really popped or broke out. I mean, he was a third round draft pick. We just, we haven't seen it from it, but he will be given an opportunity. Well, and if there's one thing we've learned about Pat Mahomes is he throws it to the open man, whether it's, you know, Harris or Kelsey or Watkins or Hill, it doesn't matter. Right. You just threw it to Hill a lot because he's open.

11:02 ↗

Yeah, pretty much. David Johnson was evaluated for a concussion, but later returned and played. After the game, they said Johnson was fine. Okay. We expect him to be fine. I will say this. As of today, he's RB 20 on the week. So a new offensive coordinator playing San Francisco. It has not. Didn't work out. Didn't translate into anything special. Do you mean on the season, Andy? Nope. Oh, you mean on the week? Yeah, I mean on the week. Okay. Sorry.

11:30 ↗

It's all right. He is higher than that on the season because he had touchdowns those first few weeks. But yeah, I mean, there were a lot of people. So we were saying, hold David Johnson, not necessarily go and get him because, you know, it's tough to. At one point, I think around the third quarter, we brought up in the studio how happy Mike McCoy is because the Arizona Cardinals were just looking putrid with their new offensive coordinator. There's some problems in Arizona.

12:00 ↗

They won. They did. That's a problem for that draft pick. Ronald Jones suffered a hamstring injury. Ben Rothersberger suffered an injury to his left index finger in the second quarter. Tomlin said he didn't know the severity. I know the severity. He doesn't use his left index finger to throw. He was just fine after that injury during that game. Yeah, but pointing at people is difficult. That's right. No finger wagon. Hey, you dad. No matumbo.

12:28 ↗

Oh, yeah, you can't wag. Can't Matumbo. No, he's got to get some penalties as he has to use a different finger. That's true. That's true. Sonny Michelle. It's hurt. Out. Yeah. Sonny Michelle out tonight. But, I mean, we didn't have a show to cover this. Sony Michelle was spotted at practice. So I know it gave him. Hiding behind the bushes. I know getting out. I know getting people a glimmer of hope for this week, which was he should have been considered ultimate just incredibly doubtful for this week.

12:58 ↗

But perhaps next week Sony Michelle is already back. We shall see. Gronk is going to play. Hopefully as a decoy. Jason says that because in our dynasty matchup, where I benched Marvin Jones for Carlos Tide. Whoops! I thank you, my friend. Yeah, I need 18 points from Gronk to beat Jason. I hope you get 16.

13:26 ↗

I don't think you help that. No, I don't. Because you will be pooping your pants at the end of that game. And the other big news for tonight, LaShawn McCoy, he cleared the concussion protocol. He will play. So if you held on to play shady tonight, hopefully he will reward you with at least eight fantasy points. Is that what you need? Because that's what I need. If you ever, we had some friends. We are selfish. Well, I didn't say we had some friends from out of town that were watching the games of this yesterday.
