At home will be the New England Patriots against the Buffalo Bills. So now is the time where I'm starting to look forward at. So you're willing to hold that second defense rest of the season? If I have three losses or fewer, I will hold on to the Patriots. I will take up the bench spot. I'm calling my shot of believing I can get to the playoffs and get there. Yeah, my 6 and 1 League of record team, I paid for the Broncos today because I'm going to hold them through the season.

116 passagesYeah. They were on my short list, but they're tough to believe in. Yeah, I really, really believe in them at home. Fair. Against Cleveland. Yeah. And then facing Oakland with no players. Yeah, it's not a bad stash at all. Especially if Bradley Chubb starts to build it up. But let's go with another trade question here, and then we'll jump into the Thursday night preview.
What do you think of this one from James Leonard on Facebook? He traded as Keenan Allen for Josh Gordon and Evan Ingram. Keenan Allen for Josh Gordon and Evan Ingram. I think that's a fine trade. You shore up your tight end spot. I know it was a bad game for Evan Ingram this week. I'm going to chalk it up to his first game back from the injury. You saw there was a little bit of miscommunication. Looked a little rusty. But Josh Gordon is ascending. He's.
He's not the wide receiver one of that team, but he's the wide receiver 1B behind only Julian Edelman. And the touchdowns are going to come. He almost had one this past week. If you didn't see it, the big play got taken down on the one of the two yard line, almost a monster touchdown play. So Josh Gordon is on the way up. Yeah, I'm fine with this if you need the tight end help. I mean, you can argue that...
what Keenan Allen is as far as, you know, the order of targets. Is he really the number one target? Yeah, he kind of is, but it's really split. We've seen a lot of valuable targets going to Tyrell Williams or Mike Williams or, you know, Melvin Gordon out of the backfield. And it's very similar with Josh Gordon, right? Josh Gordon.
Is he the number one target now? He's certainly playing the snaps. But no, you know, Chris Hogan is involved. Gronk should be there, Julian Edelman. So if those things are equal, and both offenses are great, you can make the argument that the more valuable targets are going to Josh Gordon. He's getting down the field deeper. And so, you know, who would I rather have from here on out if I could just have one of those guys Keenan? But if you need to show up your tight-in spot, Josh Gordon and Evan Ingraham, I'm...
Totally cool with that. All right. Make sure you keep your eye on your league's trade deadline plan ahead. A couple weeks of thinking earlier, you know, think, think a couple weeks out. Right. And it can make a big difference compared to your teammates, and it can save you a lot of fab. Thursday night breakdown. You guys stoked for this one? Yeah. Four and three dolphins. They're both four and three.
I will say this. We are both four and three. Four and three Texans. This game will be so much better than last week's Thursday night football. Fair. I think the Broncos fans had a pretty good time watching that game. I think the Broncos fans bored of that game. They were like, oh, this is awesome. Oh, stop it. It's like when you're watching it. Now we're just being mean. Stop. Stop. He's already dead. Throw in the towel. He's already dead. He's already dead. He's already dead.
Yeah, well, the Dolphins face the Texans. Mike's right. Both teams are four and three. Texans are seven and a half point. Home favorites, 44 and a half point over under. Brock Tober continues. And what do we make? Oh, the NFL's so fun. Yeah. What are the big starts hit decisions that fantasy owners need to make this week? Because you're without Ryan Tannehill, Kenny Stills, and Albert Wilson on that offense. Frank Gore returned to.
He's infinite. He's infinite, but he was a bore last week with only like three fantasy points. And King and Drake had the big run. You've got an opportunity with Danny and Dola. Are you making, are you making any Miami starts on the road here? Yeah, I think you can make a couple of starts. First of all, you cannot start Frank Gore. Frank Gore, his skill set does not match up well against the...
Texans defensive line. He's a bruiser up the middle, and usually he can, you know, he can wear those defenses down. But JJ Watts, Davy and Clowny, they will, I don't see Gore gashing the Houston Texans defensive line. I think you need to beat them over the top, get behind that defensive line. I would rather play Kenyon Drake in this game because while I don't think either are going to do much on the ground... You'd rather play Drake over Gore, but do you actually really want to play Kenyon Drake? Like,
Running back three. You're running back three. No, a running back three. I'm talking, you know, he's going to be one of those guys you can start at your flex. You can, you know, if you're in a PPR, you can hope for, you know, the seven receptions for 40 plus yards mixed in with whatever he does on the ground. So he's not by any means of must start, but you can start Kenyon Drake this week, especially with those wide receivers being out. Speaking of the wide receivers being out, I think you can probably in a pinch.
Yes. I think if you're in a pinch, if you are in a pinch, you can play him wide receiver three level with some upside. The past couple weeks with Brock Tober, 18 targets combined in the past two games, 14 receptions had the bigger game last week against Detroit, 6 for 84 with a score. I don't want to do it. Right. We're not recommending you do it, but there are teams out there that's like, man, I've got nobody. Danny Amadol is probably on your waiver still.
Are we excited about Will Fuller in this matchup with Kiki Kuti being out of this game most likely with the hamstring injury, which they don't consider long term, but probably going to miss Thursday. So are we renewing our faith in Will Fuller? Yes. Yeah, Miami this year against fantasy-wide receivers, the point total is lower because they're giving up points to running backs and tight ends.
But yes, I'm far more intrigued with Will Fuller. See if we can get those target counts back up where nine and 11 targets his first two games of the year. Both of those over 100 yards if Kiki is out. And I think that Kiki has been the primary reason for Will Fuller's disappearance. Lamar Miller. He's been solid. We talked about Deont de Foreman and how long of a road he has to recovery.
Is Lamar Miller being undervalued and does he need to be rolled out here? Against the dolphins, yes. Yeah, he's a confident start. An RB2. With upside. Yes. The dolphins are allowing the third most rushing yards, fifth most running back receiving yards in the league. Lamar Miller, we got worried, what's going on. And it looks like they were being really honest that he was banged up. He needed a week of rest. They gave him that time off.
And then he goes back to being the workhorse role. So he's a confident start this week. And what are our adjusted expectations for Deshaun Watson rest of season, including this game? Right now on a point per game basis, he is nowhere near the top 12. So, you know, you've got players above Deshaun Watson right now, Matthew Stafford, Andy Dalton, Jared Goff. Right. Mitchell Trubisky by a lot.
I see Deshawn Watson as a top 10 option this week. He'll probably be somewhere in that 9-10 range on my rankings when we get those finished later today. So I'm absolutely fine. You're feeling good. Yeah. Yeah, after four straight 300-yard weeks, 300-plus, his last two weeks, 177 and 1, 139 and 1. And the not running. The painful part is, yeah, he was two for two.
running the football in Buffalo, and he was 7 for 13. So right now, the problem with Deshaun Watson is that the rib injury and the lung injury, the long injury, which if you had not heard this, he, last week he played Jacksonville. The team, per usual, got on an airplane and flew to Jacksonville to play an NFL football game. Pretty far away. Yeah, because you don't want to ride in a bus. Except Dishon Watson.
It was reported he rode a bus for 12 hours to get to the football game because they were concerned about his lungs on an airplane. They were concerned about his lungs on an airplane and they said, go be chased down by 300 pound men with 0% body fat. It does give me pause tonight. Yeah. Or tomorrow. For tomorrow. With Deshaun Watson because the Dolphins defense is all right.
And if Deshaun Watson can't run for more than 15 yards in a game, you're going to be disappointed. You might be bummed out unless he throws two or three touchdowns. Yeah, I was going to say that the baseline is lower for Watson without the rushing. It's still the upside is still possible. Yeah, two Will Fuller, DeAndre Hopkins bombs and he's great. But I do think he is slightly riskier. So when I say top 10, that's where I expect him to finish. But he's not one of those locked top 10.
you know, must start types. I'm going to start DeAndre Hopkins. Yeah, good call. Yeah. Genius, right? But, but Andy. What? The voice of public opinion. We've been missing. What about Zavian Howard? Isn't he so good? Yeah, Hopkins is better. Yeah, Hopkins, you start him every week. Hey, Fooglan, before we close out, the show, want to tell you about the what really happened podcast.
