The blue medical tent enters the injury dryer
The hosts revive the show's blue-medical-tent Halloween costume as appropriate for another mass-injury weekend. Sunday feels like tumbling through a dryer, every player ending in '-uka' receives an apology, and Egbuka's injury takes an unnamed host's last lung and newly purchased cards. This transcript does not label the host recalling the costume.

Two 9–1 superteams sit at 72 and 62 at recording time
Mike and Papa Josh own the League of Record's 9–1, first- and second-highest-scoring keeper superteams, called the presumed 1A and 1B. A normal win is about 135 points, but at recording time Mike sits at 72 and Josh at 62 as their stars fail. Josh is then mocked for already trading every draft pick despite the need for depth; the figures are an in-progress snapshot, not final scores.
moment
Monday Punday flushes the injury board
Jason admits he did not help prepare Monday Punday before the hosts run through a dense set of good and bad player mutations: Scatter-boom, Jackpot Smith-Njigba, Rico Belcowdle, Kendrick Bourne Supremacy, Emeka Egg Big Boo, Quin-Shart Judkins, Toilet Tagovailoa, Kenneth Walker the Turd, Stefon Diggs My Grave, Troy Stanklin, and Puke Nacua.
moment
Wins are skill and losses are luck
The hosts instruct listeners who had a good fantasy week to absorb it as the product of skill, while a loss is always caused by bad luck.
moment
Laser Mayfield powers up as a dog
Baker Mayfield is called Laser Mayfield and the current MVP. Every lost Tampa weapon is expected to be too much, but the hosts answer 'dog don't care,' say he keeps powering up, and an unnamed host declares love for him.
moment
Achane is gold in Mike McDaniel's toilet
De'Von Achane is described as a shining golden nugget inside Miami's toilet. The hosts decide someone has gone number two there and identify Mike McDaniel as the little tiny turd, while insisting the gold is still worth retrieving and washing one's hands afterward.
moment
Cade Otton creates the 250-pound lift rule
Cade Otton's weekly habit of taking huge hits escalates into a body slam, which the hosts still distinguish from legal lifting. They invent a rule permitting defenders to lift players over 250 pounds because the feat shows strength and bigger players can take the fall. Otton measures 247 without pads, then his equipment is counted to move him above the proposed lift threshold; Achane may be thrown only if caught.
moment
Kenneth Walker asks what he is
After three worsening fantasy weeks and extensive commentary, the hosts repeatedly ask Kenneth Walker 'What are you?' He alternates between looking like football's best player and not mattering, while Seattle cuts him to 35 percent of snaps and uses Zach Charbonnet heavily.
moment
Rhamondre earns an unnamed host the Wheel
An unnamed host says he will finally spin the Wheel of Shame on Friday and deserves every bit of it because he predicted 43 rushing yards for Rhamondre Stevenson. The transcript does not identify the losing host.
moment
TreVeyon Henderson's controller is unplugged
TreVeyon Henderson freezes in a serious three-point pass-protection stance while Drake Maye moves away. He shuffles in place, ready to block nobody, and the desk first calls it a stuck-controller moment before upgrading the diagnosis to an unplugged controller; the follow-up explicitly says he may be overthinking after coaching criticism and contrasts that treatment with Guns Mahoney correcting players before building them back up.
moment
Mike takes his deserved Rico victory lap
An unlabeled host declares 'I love Rico,' is answered with 'Yeah, you do,' and receives permission for a deserved victory lap. Minutes later Mike is directly invited to compare Rico Dowdle's rushing total with Saquon Barkley's and immediately answers Rico, corroborating that the celebration belongs to Mike.
moment
Guns Mahoney corrects them and builds them back up
While contrasting Henderson's coaching treatment with Detroit's approach, the hosts revive the Coach Guns Mahoney name and recount a philosophy of correcting players who take plays off, then building them back up and returning them to the field.
summary
Episode notes
The injury-heavy opening revives the show's blue-medical-tent Halloween costume as seasonally appropriate, compares the weekend to tumbling through a dryer, apologizes to every injured player whose name ends in '-uka,' and turns Emeka Egbuka's injury into the loss of an unnamed host's last remaining lung after a weekend of buying his cards. League of Record provides the episode's strongest personal consequence: Mike and Papa Josh own the two 9–1, first- and second-highest-scoring keeper superteams, yet at recording time Mike sits at 72 points and Josh at 62 as their stars fail; Josh is also teased for already trading every available draft pick. Monday Punday returns with Jason admitting he did not help and a full board of mutations including Rico Belcowdle, Kendrick Bourne Supremacy, Emeka Egg Big Boo, Toilet Tagovailoa, Kenneth Walker the Turd, Stefon Diggs My Grave, Troy Stanklin, and Puke Nacua. The desk then states the universal fantasy doctrine that wins come from skill and losses from bad luck. Mike receives permission for a Rico Dowdle victory lap after declaring his love, then immediately answers Rico when directly asked to compare his rushing total with Saquon Barkley's. Baker Mayfield becomes Laser Mayfield, the MVP, and a dog who keeps powering up as Tampa loses weapons. De'Von Achane is a golden nugget in Miami's toilet, where Mike McDaniel is imagined as the tiny turd. Cade Otton's habit of taking huge hits becomes an invented rule allowing defenders to lift—but not slam—a pass catcher above a 250-pound threshold; Achane may be thrown but must be caught. A general Kenneth Walker discussion reaches an identity crisis as the hosts repeatedly ask 'What are you?' while Seattle gives Zach Charbonnet the goal-line work. An unnamed host accepts an upcoming Wheel of Shame spin after predicting 43 Rhamondre Stevenson rushing yards. TreVeyon Henderson then freezes in an empty pass-protection stance like a disconnected controller, ready to block nobody while overthinking coaching criticism; the diagnosis is contrasted with Coach Guns Mahoney's correct-and-build-them-back-up approach.
guys that you want that you expect, like Tyler Warren, Trey McBride, Laporta. Like, yeah, good. Let the good tight ends go do something and be great. I think Tyler Warren sticks out the most to me from this list. He has been really dominant. He's been more dominant than like right now. He's the tight end two on the season, I believe, behind Dallas Goddard, which we should talk about, even though I don't know what to do with them. It's been long enough now for Goddard's involvement. I mean, you're talking you're not just talking about the occasional touchdown. You're talking about sort of because 11 targets, nine targets the past two weeks, but 33 yards,
37 yards, 19 yards, 110. What if I told you that downs and all of those? I don't know. We're how many weeks in here? Six weeks in. Yep. He has his career high in touchdowns. No, and he did. He already did before this week. I mean, we mentioned that last week he had five and that was the most he's ever scored. I don't understand why we can't be in on that if we were trying to hang on to like, I don't know, Juwan Johnson and some of his other tight ends. It's over for Juwan. Two out of three weeks, you're number one.
You need a tight end, man. Yeah. We need tight ends. You say don't chase it, but he's scoring a lot of touchdowns. But to get back to Tyler Warren, Tyler Warren very well might finish this season as the number one target for this team. Ahead of Pittman, ahead of downs. You know, he had a 30% target share in this game. The targets have tightened up the last couple weeks. It's really, I saw a tweet about it where it's like Downs, Warren, and Pittman are all within one target or so of each other. Yeah. Downs got involved early in this game.
Pittman had a tough one. I think he was only like two for 20 in this game. He should be in the duds. Trey McBride into the end zone. Sam Laporta, another touchdown for him. Oh, he hit the man. That was a really great touchdown. That was a man catch. Back of the end zone. Harold Fannin was seven for 81. Tucker Kraft saved the start of the week with a nice touchdown run. And Jake Ferguson can't stop scoring after he's spent his whole career not scoring. But just three for 33 in this game. A little bit disappointing. Very surprising. Travis Kelsey, six for 78.
He's been serviceable. And there you go. We'll take a break and we'll jump into the duds. This episode is brought to you by NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube TV. Well, we're done talking about the studs. It's time to talk through these guys. We did have an update. Todd Bowles, Buccaneers head coach, wanted to let us know ahead of time,
that Bucky Irving and Chris Godwin are not in play for next Monday night's game. So Mike Evans, maybe. Yeah, I mean, by that rule of thought, Emeka Abuka, maybe. Who knows? It's getting imaging right now. But no Bucky, no Godwin. And we'll see if he has a starting wide receiver room of Tez Johnson and Sterling Shepard and Kate Otten, right? Yeah, Kate Otten's going to be... You ended up starting him, right? I did. I started Kate Otten. I was happy with that. What did he end up with? Because we didn't talk about him in studs, but I saw him a few passes.
He was five for 51. That's very usable. At the tight end position from what I've been getting, I think I had zero last week. And in true Kate Otten fashion, did you guys see the... Because I talk about how every time Kate Otten catches the ball... Oh, he always takes a huge hit. Did you see him get body slammed? Yeah. Yeah, he got lifted over somebody's head. Dude, every week. Every week. That's legal, right? So you can't... You can't do the slam, but you can lift him? No, you can't lift him. But he jumped. He was the one who jumped.
He jumped, and then the guy... He was on his shoulder, so he raised up. Because at the time, I was like... It looked like a fine play. You should be able to lift him if they're over 250. That should be the rule. I think that's appropriate. That's fair, right? Yeah, because it takes... Well, one, it shows your own strength and skill. I mean, not everybody can do it. Two, they're big. They're going to be able to handle this fall. Oh, but the bigger they are, the harder they fall. That's what makes it awesome. That's what makes it an awesome play.
If you were to take Devon Achan and suplex him, that feels wrong. You can throw him, but you have to catch him. Guys, Kate Otten, 6'5", 247. Oh. Illegal play. Because I said 250? Yeah. Should be 225. He's probably... Yeah. Do they weigh him without the pads? Yes. Yeah. Then he's over 250. Well, that's a good point. When you... You got to have at least three pounds of pads, right? But I'm not... Like, when you go to a fight, they're not like, hey... This is the dumbest conversation. You got to fight, you weigh in, try to be as low as possible.
Yeah. Justin Fields. 9 for 17. He's so hard to watch. I'm watching this game. I had traveled this weekend. I'm out in Los Angeles. I'm trying to eat a breakfast. And I'm having to watch this. Nauseating performance. I don't know how many times I exclaimed, I hate the Jets. It was a lot. Because I have Brees Hall. Like, I want them to do well. I like seeing Garrett Wilson have success. I believe, statistically, this was the worst performance of any quarterback on the season. No. Outside of Jake Brown. Yeah, it was the second. Had one performance. It was the second.
He took nine sacks. His average time to sack was almost four seconds. That is so long. It's ridiculous. And he will be so back next week. Against Carolina? It will. At home? I've never had the courage to play him because this is the possibility all the time. It's not, oh man, he only got you like 15. It's like, he put a blindfold on and then took a crap in the backfield. In four-point scoring, it has been 29.5, four, 27.1, 25.9, 4.9. There you go. So do you want, it's roulette. Well, yes, but the horrible games, Buffalo and Denver. Like, you put them up against Pitt when their defense was really reeling.
Oh, I'm sure he'll be fine against Carolina. He will be. I'm not going to sit here and tell you that Justin Fields is, it's going to be awesome quarterback play. It should be awesome fantasy points. This will be the end of him as a starter. Yes, he is. This will be the end of him as a starting quarterback. He is one that you don't want to watch, though. You just don't. I really wish, I genuinely, and I know it's insulting to him and he would never accept it, but he should be a running back. He would be so good. Well, he could go Terrell Pryor, who became a wide receiver and was versatile.
He's just so good in open field. You are such an amazing athlete, and when you get in the open field, no one can tackle him. He pulls away from people. If they had Jacoby Brissett at quarterback, they'd be way better off him. Yeah, yeah, as a team, for sure. As a team. I mean, he's such a great athlete. I want to watch him do what he's great at, but the problem is he keeps trying to play quarterback. Jordan Love, 19 for 26 and just one touchdown. I know that Papa Josh was deciding between Jordan Love and Drake May this week, and it
was such a tough decision. I would have played Love, too. You played Love, right? Yeah. And Drake May scored double the points. I mean, Jordan Love and Matthew Stafford. Yeah, Stafford. Humongous disappointment. Stafford was a huge letdown after being a pickup. And then Bo Nix, man, you watch this game against the Jets. He's weird. He is weird. He makes plays that look like he's really great, and then he feels like he, I don't know, he almost gets overconfident. And can't see the field. How much do we, like, I feel like these London games, it's not a guarantee that they're going
to be bad, but so often we are seeing bad football. Anecdotally, it feels like they're all bad. Yeah, and so it's like, should we be a little bit more concerned going forward of just like the chance that these teams are playing bad football? Well, we'll get another one next week. And then we get another one after that. Oh my gosh. Do we get another one after that? Oh, Rams, Jaguars next week. Yeah. Yeah, we're going to get them forever, Jason. Bo Nix, though, really on the fringe of the start category at this point, he's really been disappointing. Like, when you looked at the late round shot on him versus like a Drake May, I mean, his
best two weeks, he was the quarterback 12 in week two, quarterback three in week four. But other than that, he's been outside or 15 or later with some real duds in this season where, I don't know, he should be able to perform against a good opponent, like a good matchup, you'd think. But he is a matchup play. I would agree with that. Saquon, 12 for 58. Judkins, 12 for 36. The Judkins responses were very strong. Strong. And I don't really understand the offensive decision making. What in the world are you doing? I know you're down early. And so- 12 carries?
You had to keep throwing it in the second half. And I'm all about throwing it. It's more efficient than running it. But you also look at your personnel. Look at your team and say, what can we do well? Because Judkins has been awesome. And Gabriel is not very good. And you're putting the ball in the wrong player's hands over and over. I couldn't- I kept thinking when I was watching the games, I was talking to Mike, I was like, where's Judkins? Like, why aren't they using him? His previous three weeks, 20, 25, and 25 opportunities, right? It's not like they were winning all those games.
In this game, he got 13 total opportunities. He didn't catch a pass. Like, to your point, Jay, okay, maybe it's more efficient. Get him the ball in the screen game. Do something. Like, very frustrating. Yeah. I'm certainly not going away or worried. No, but- No, we got to Miami next week. It's kind of the way it is. Like, the Javante performance was really- It was a bummer. That was a pretty big bummer because you talked about Carolina's defense. I mean, 13 for 29. He did catch five passes for five yards. Hey. That's kind of what he does. Saquon, Judkins, Javante.
Gibbs had kind of a down performance. Yeah. It started strong, but I don't know. A bunch of people were saying, Jameer up the middle, Gibbs. Like, what are they doing? Like, Brees Hall, he tried his darndest. I watched this game. 22 rushing attempts. You got to hold on to the fact that I think his running back opportunity shares like 93% the last two weeks. He should be okay. You talk about Carolina next week, and then no targets in the game. Not one check down in this game. Fields. Yeah, it was awful. It was trying to stop the sacks is what it was.
Though check downs didn't happen because they were keeping Brees Hall in to try to chip, and that helped him only suffer nine sacks. It helped him get sacked later in the play. Right. He was allowed to hold the ball longer. J.K. Dobbins, 14 for 40. His first real dud of the year. First game under 11. There were a lot of running back duds. I mean, Travis Etienne, 12 for 27. It was the week. It was not just injuries. It was also a lot of low scores. I mean, there were lots of Ken Walker commentaries because it's been three bad weeks now, and it just keeps getting worse.
What is he? What are you? Ken Walker. Sometimes you look like the best player in football, and other times you don't even matter. Yeah, and Charbonnet as well. You play 35% of snaps. You realize this? Yes. Yeah, the snaps were way down after two weeks, even though the fantasy performance the last couple weeks is not there. What are you? But 19 for 81. That should be good. 10 for 86. That should be good. You're talking about the past two weeks? Yeah, for Walker. I know it didn't turn into huge fantasy points, but this week was bizarre. And the Seahawks have to be saying, what are you?
Yeah. Because they don't know what they're doing as far as with these two backs. 60% of snaps for Charbonnet. Charbonnet played 60% of the snaps. I think they had like three Charbonnet runs in a row at the goal line. Just stuffed every time. Yeah, it was just, they were moving the offense great, throwing the ball awesome, get down the field, get near the goal line, and then they're like, let's screw this. Well, both of them. Let's give the ball to Charbonnet three times and then kick a field goal. He's 2.6 yards per carry on the season, and they still are just like, that's fine.
They gave him the ball 12 times for 24 yards. Yeah, they could not run on Jacksonville. Yeah. Which Jacksonville does have a really good defense. Was that 22 for 58? Yep. Okay. Speaking of not running, couldn't have looked more pathetic. Honestly, just a perfect, there were some like little nuggets of extra pain during the weekend. The Buka injury on top of, you know, the Harrison injury. And then like Ramondre Stevenson, like I am the wheel of shame on Friday. I finally, I've broken the ice. I'm finally going to spin it. And I deserve every bit of that wheel of shame because I expected Ramondre to get 43 rushing
yards. They didn't beat the New Orleans Saints, did they? They did. Oh, easily. Oh, they beat them easily. Okay. 13 for 18. Now, I mean, Travion Anderson, 9 for 27. Travion's never going to happen. That's how it feels. Yeah. I wouldn't give up, but it feels like it. I mean, you realize the snap count. Remember, the whole argument for me saying trade for Ramondre Stevenson is that I think he's going to get a ton more work. Do you know what his snap count was? Yeah, looking at 72%. Yeah, I see. 72% in this game. That is a wonderful number for a running back.
A running back, you want like 60% is good. They're going to have a great fantasy game if they're up at 60%. 70% is you're like a bell cow. And Travion was 50% last week, so it's going down for Travion. Did you see my controller stuck moment for Travion Henderson? Yes. Oh, my God. What in the world? He was in this pass protection. I missed it. And he's just, he's in the pass protection stance, and he's real serious about it. Yeah. Three-point stance. Three-point stance, hands out in front of you, doing the little shuffle feet. And Drake Mays running like, he's running like out of the pocket to the right, and Travion's
just like stuck in the position. But he's. And not moving. He is there, ready to block no one. Yeah, go watch that clip. There's no one in front of him, and he is ready to block him, though. If there was someone there, he would have blocked the crap out of him. Well, he was. My controller's unplugged is the moment. He is, he's looking at, there's a guy on the outside, and he's not sure if Mays is going to run or throw. So I can see what he's doing. I know what he's doing, but it just looks so stupid. He kind of looked like maybe he got reamed for some pass protection problems.
Honestly, I think that. And so he kept zoned in. I think it's a part of the problem for Henderson is, this is how people use players. And it's like the, you know, we can go to the Detroit, how they are like uplifting their players. There was even an interview with Guns Mahoney, and he was like, we don't accept guys who take plays off. And then he was, you know, there was a follow-up. He was like, okay, well, what do you do? He's like, well, when we see it, we correct it. We build them back up. We get them out there.
