Fantasy Football 2017 - Week 1 Matchups, In-or-Out, Kareem the Dream

They use him a lot of times against the tight ends. And if there's a team that, you know, utilize, when I think of what team utilizes the tight end the best, I think of Philip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers. So a keep to leave being out would be a pretty big deal here to me. Yeah, we'll see if. Just look and see if he practices today. Otherwise, other storylines there. How about the tight ends? Anything just note there. Hunter Henry was drafted as a starter.

I drafted him. You're rolling him in a few leagues, and I'm putting him out there. And, I mean, Antonio Gates says he is what he is, where you're just, you're hoping for a touchdown to go his way. And the touchdowns will be there. This may not be the matchup, though, that you're excited to put Gates out there. All right. Yeah. I mean, I, you've got to wait and see on this one, but I'm just worried to start any of them, including Gates and Henry. I'm not, I would look elsewhere.

All right, I'm excited about this week of football. It's going to be a lot of fun, unless you're a J.E. Ajai owner, in which case you've got to wait another week to have a good time. But it's coming. It is great unless you're eating it, in which case is very bad. Mike, you went with Levion Bell. With the number one pick, Levon Bell versus the Browns. Child, please. I took Karim Hunt.

No, I went with David Johnson. I doubled down. I wasn't paying that much attention. The second that you said anything other than David Johnson, I was like, oh, yes, I get him. Sorry, buddy. I'm going to take Russell Wilson. Russell Wilson. And got to go with Shady. He's just going to put up.

Getting in on those incentives. Yeah. Those cash incentives. I'm going to go ahead and grab Julio against Chicago. Love the matchup. Love the opportunity for a big play. So I've got Julio and David Johnson. Man, I was hoping that Julio was going to drop to me. So here on the turn, I'm just going to grab some studs here. I'm going with AJ Green. And then I'm going to look to fill out my running back situation.

And I'm going to get Devante Freeman against the Chicago Bears. The matchup is delightful. And Freeman, Freeman has proven himself worthy. I am back on the clock. I'm going to double up my wide outs. I'm going to go Julio. I went Julio. Now I'm going to go Antonio Brown and pair him together. Not bad. Not bad. In a three-person draft you get some good players. This is the second time I've ended up in the non-turn situation in these drafts. I'd like to be on the turn. Well, I'm going to pair up as well. I'm going to go Doug Baldwin.

because the only way I win is if, you know, if Doug Baldwin's going to get some touchdowns here, I'll get that Russell Wilson, Doug Baldwin combo. You're going for the stack. And then same game. I'm going for a high score and affair. I'm going to take Jordy Nelson. Horty Nelson. I mean, last time you said it, last time they played Seattle in Green Bay, two touchdowns for Horty. Matchup's not amazing, but I'm going to pair David Johnson with Ezekiel Elliott. And so I took him. Man, my decision here is do I?

go with a quarterback and a running back because I like Matt Ryan a lot. And that's what I'm going to do because he's my number one quarterback for the week. So that means that all I need left to fill out my roster is either a wide receiver or a tight end. I'm going through here. And I'm going to take Michael Thomas. Michael Thomas? Michael Thomas? All right. You took Michael Thomas. I'm going to go with Aaron Rogers at home. I'm not going to.

I'm not going to get cute. I'm not going to try to go grab Carson Palmer. I'm going to just take Aaron Rogers. That's the right play. And now I am deciding between Jordan Howard and Melvin Gordon. I like both backs. Obviously, the better matchup is against Atlanta. But I think that you're going to need Melvin Gordon to succeed if you want to win against the Denver Broncos. So go on Melvin Gordon to pair with Shady.

And Jordy Nelson, Doug Baldwin to pair with Russell Wilson. And then Mike's team is Matt Ryan, Lev Bell, Devonta Freeman, AJ Green, and Michael Thomas. And my team is Aaron Rogers, David Johnson, Ezekiel Elliott, Julio Jones, and Antonio Brown. So Studville, USA. And look, that's the fun of this game, is that even if you don't own these super stud players in your league of record or your season long, you get the opportunity to root for them or have them on your roster.

in playdraft. And I am, I'm in a healthy league, a lead in a footballer's 10 team week one league because I had Mr. Corrie. The thing about play draft, they have other modes too. So which we may have to pivot to next week. Like we could have done a five quarterback. Woo.
