It is possible. You know, the way they talk about him. You want to put trust in the Patrick Mahomes Clyde-Herzellar talk from years ago. He's talking about McCaule Hardman. You have MVS, you have Juju, you have Skymore. Obviously, Travis Kelsey is the right answer. But it's crazy that there are four potential shots and they're going to go very, very late in drafts. They're going to go late. And Patrick Mahomes is going to throw for over 4,040 touchdowns. And the most realistic option is that it gets split up.

55:05 ↗

and there isn't one of these guys. It's a superstar. We're all hoping for a Tyreek Hill replacement, but he's probably going to spread the ball around, and they're all going to be decent, not great. Give me one word to describe drafting from the 12th spot, Jason. Scary. All right, Mike, one word to describe drafting from the nine spot? Uh, delightful. Oh, you enjoyed it. I did. Okay. I would say I'm content at 104 or happy. That'd be my description.

55:34 ↗

Yeah, so my team, my final team here, Alva Camara, Devante Adams, James Connor, Michael Pittman, Cortland Sutton, Miles Sanders, Rashad Penny, Zachertz, Alan Lizard, Derek Carr, and Marquez, Valdez, Scantling. All right, Cooper Copp, Mike Williams, Hollywood Brown, Jameson, Williamson Williams, wide receiver, Aaron Jones, E.J. Dillon, Chase Edmonds, Ronald Jones at running back. Herbert's my quarterback. Komet is my tie-in.

56:00 ↗

I've got Trey Lance at quarterback, Joe Mixing, Clyde Edwards, Alleyer at my starting running back, Stefan Diggs, T. Higgins, in the wide receiver, George Kittle at Tide-N, and then a bench, or I guess a flex of Cream Hunt, bench of Darnell Mooney, Juju Smith-Schuster, Melvin Gordon, and Sky Moore. What's going on for, Clay? If you know anything about this show, you know we're all about making leagues amazing. And part of that, as a commission, a lot of the times, I've set up websites for the different leagues that were in, all of the teams and the players and the records and things like that.

56:28 ↗

Love doing that for your league. It makes it better. Or maybe, maybe you're not the commission. Maybe you're not making a site for your league. But you got a new side hustle. And you don't want to lose sleep over building a website for it. You can launch a business. You can make it official in minutes with Wix Harmony. To the season, we'll be given tips, insights, observations, and the like for bestball on underdog fantasy. It is growing in popularity every single year. And so, Jason, I will hand you the baton. You can take today's...

57:47 ↗

Underdog Fantasy Bestball Breakdown. Yeah, I think today is really... Well, just give a quick over. We mean to have some new players here who are not familiar with the format. Sure. So we've been playing best ball forever. It's such a great format. With Underdog, what you do is you can draft a lineup.

58:03 ↗

Each lineup is 18 spots. You can be in a three-person league, a six-person league, 10, 12. You can use them as, you know, a way to practice for your league because there's a little bit of money on the line. Or you can join like a massive tournament. There'll be a lot of money on the line. The best ball mania three. We're crowning millionaires over there. You've got a 450,000 entry tournament with 417 week 17 final.

58:29 ↗

And you're playing to make it to the playoffs and ultimately win a lot of money if you do. And we want the Foot Clan to take down the Best Ball Mania 3. That's our goal. So we're giving you tips so that you know how to construct your roster to compete the best, and it's a blast to do it along the way. So here's some data from last year's Best Ball Mania that we thought was worth highlighting the importance of roster construction. There are boo-boos you can make that just basically...

58:57 ↗

say you're not going to be in contention. So we're going to be talking about advance rates, basically how often a player or a construction got you to those playoffs that you're trying to get to, how often those things win. So you've got 18 players. Let's start with quarterbacks. At quarterbacks, you want two or you want three. That's your goal. Two or three quarterbacks, those are the highest win rates. Teams with two total quarterbacks had the highest advance rate last year, 17 and a half percent.

59:26 ↗

For frame of reference, 20% is Godmoat. That is fantastic. If you draft later, like, let's say you go four. You go four quarterbacks. Well, that really means that later in your draft, you're like, oh, I don't know, it's late. Drew Locke is there. He could be the starting quarterback. I take him. Maybe he is the starting quarterback. But what you're sacrificing are more important positions. Grab two or grab three and then be done. Get out. At running backs.

59:54 ↗

Five or six running backs had the highest advance rate. Both roster constructions had a 17.1% win rate. Running backs get injured. So if you got four studs and you think you're good, you're probably not. Get five or get six. But wide receivers, I think, are the most important best ball. This is very, very important. Six wide receivers is the minimum. And I would personally never.

60:18 ↗

stop at six. No teams made the best ball mania finals with fewer than six. Yeah, you just can't do it because wide receivers aren't consistent. And best ball, what happens is you're not putting a lineup together. It's just taking your best lineup from every score on your team and plugging in what would happen. So if you shotgun the wide receiver position, eight or nine wide receivers had the highest advance rate last year.

60:42 ↗

then you've got more chance for just those rando hits of a big bomb touchdown week getting in your lineup. So stack a lot of wide receivers on your team. And with tight-ins, teams with three tight-ins, they had the highest advance rate to the playoffs, but two tight-end teams had more upside to get to the semifinals and finals because, not because, oh, two is better than three, but because they probably.

61:05 ↗

had an extra wide receiver. So two or three quarterbacks, two or three tight ends, five or six running backs, and then fill them with wide receivers. It's going to be an exciting year. Very. Run that back again, the summary of the spots. In summary, you've got 18 spots. You want two or three quarterbacks, two or three tight ends, five or six running backs, and then the rest stack them with wide receivers.
