Tua, limited practices, same as last week. Right now, I think we imagine it's going to be Fitzpatrick. Look, Tua, heal up, man. You got to, the NFL is tough. It is tough, tough stuff. And you don't want to be out there with that thumb situation. This is the worst fantasy versus reality situation that you could have because we all know it's true. It's like the, you know, it's like the James situation where you thought.

162 passagesYou know, James, what he represents for fantasy versus reality. Ryan Fitzpatrick means that Devante Parker is a top option. I'm curious. I'm going to reach out to, like, I only know one Dolphins fan. Like, I'm only friends with one of them because, you know, they're the dolphins. But I'm going to reach out and I'm going to see, like, get up, see if we can get a pulse here on do Dolphins fans want Fitzpatrick starting right now? Sure. You're 7.4. Ask your one friend, Mike. I will.
And that will serve as the example for all fan base. I'll put it out on Twitter as well. Because you're 7 of 4, you could win this division. And I think Tua lowers your chances of winning the division right now. It's really hard, too, because they're pretty good defense. So you ask if you're going to win with a defense, do you want to theoretically?
lower your turnover chance, which is called not playing Ryan Fitzpatrick, or do you want the upside of being able to come back in a game, which Tua's not going to do that either. He just represents very, there's no polarity there, where it's like Fitzpatrick could give you a nine out of ten game or a two out of ten game, and I feel like Tua can give you like a four or a four. I feel like Fitzpatrick, though, has been far more on that 10 scale for, I mean, quite a while now.
But don't you think that that's being colored by the fantasy side of things? I mean, his... Perhaps. Perhaps. I mean, I don't know. I don't know. It's kind of hard. What do you do with other options there in... He's 12 to 8, by the way, touchdown to interception ratio. I wanted to look at that for Fitzpatrick.
But other options there, Miles Gaskin is still not activated. He's in his 21-day activation window. I do expect him to be activated and be the starter. He's a guy that if he is activated, I will start. You've got Ahmed there, but I was reading, you know, a beat reporter for the Dolphins who writes for Sports Illustrated, expecting a big week for Gaskin. That's what I'm basing this on, you know, insider.
He should know more about the health and the split of that backfield than I do from far. Miles Gaskin. He's going to kill it on the field. So he's who I would go. Wait. And he's playing the, he's playing a Tiger team. Come on. Oh, brother. It's all there. That's a guy. By all there, I mean like five layers deep of going through the meme world.
All right, so Carol Baskin is a start this week. Devante Parker is the start this week. Mike Gisicki? Yeah, Fitzpatrick starts. If Fitzpatrick starts, I would start him. Devonte Parker is a can't. If Fitzpatrick is the starter, you can't bench him. He should be a wider shooter one this week.
You don't get layers of meme analysis with other shows. And that's really what we want to bring your way. Jacksonville. That's why you're ranked top six right now in the industry, Andy. Oh, thank you for the shout out, baby. You're ranked top six in rankings is because of your meme work.
Right. And obviously, by extension, we'll move on to the next matchup, but Miles Gaskin would perform well against the Jacksonville Jaguars as well. Of course. On the same logic basis. Jacksonville's 1 and 10. They did win their first game this year. That was it. And then Minnesota, five and six. And to clarify, you don't mean, oh, they just got their first win of the season. They won their.
Very first game. Oh, I apologize. Yes, they stink. Vikings are 10-point favorites. It's a 52.5 point over under. Minnesota's playing very well right now, especially their quarterback. Kurt Cousins has been getting it done week in and week out. Dalvin Cook, yep. We'll talk about Cousins more later, but I like him this week a lot. Jefferson Thielen, okay, no doubt. You play them both.
Really not complicated on the Minnesota side because there's not a lot of nuance. There's not a lot of peripheral options. You're not looking at their tight-in position with Thielen back. Say, Kyle Rudolph, that was fun. Like, I hope you enjoyed that week, but Kyle Rudolph will go back to his, you hope he scores the touchdown because he won't be seeing the targets anymore. Isn't that, that's, you know, seven last week with no Irv Smith and no Adam Thielen. And it's over. You're right. You got you one week.
This is a really easy game to walk through because you have studs and duds. It's, you know, like you said, is that the two different teams? Is that the kind of? Cousins, Dalvin Cook, Adam Thiel and Justin Jefferson, nobody's not going to be starting them already. So nothing to really discuss there. No one else on that roster are going to start. And on the other side, you've got James Robinson. There's one man. Yeah.
And he's in. The only questionable player in this entire game is just DJ Chark, assuming he is active for the game. He missed this last week with injury. If he's back out there, I would take him over the likes of the Bengals wide receivers. Sure. I would take DJ Chark over the Tyler Boyd's and T. Higgins and A.J. Greens. But he's not someone that I'm like, oh, man, I hope he's back because I can't wait to get him in my lineup type of.
type of player with Mike Glennon back there. It's, yeah, DJ Tark is a very difficult read this week because the Minnesota matchup is, they have been improving on the defensive side of the ball, but it's, you can still squeeze some juice out of this matchup. And Mike Lennon was not incompetent the last week. And I mean, you saw, you saw Colin Johnson. Well, that's the name I wanted to bring up. The only name I actually do want to bring up.
But Colin Johnson only played because DJ, or he only saw the snaps because DJ Chark was out. If you look back, that was his first game action really ever, other than, you know, averaging maybe 20% of the snaps before that. And that turned to, for Colin Johnson, it turned into eight targets, four for 96 and a touchdown because they had the really big play. But, I mean, he, if DJ Chark is active, I'm not even considering.
the crazy help Mary play that is Colin Johnson, but does the success of Colin Johnson give you some DJ chart confidence against this matchup? Not me, no. I think Colin Johnson is a real, is a desperate play, but one that will receive a ton of targets if Char is out. You could have seen Chanel have take advantage or Cole take advantage. It wasn't them. It was the rookie, which, you know, is interesting to me. But no, I don't really want to mess around.
Let's not mess around with this, this passing game on a third string quarterback. Can we make that pledge? Can we leave them alone? Yes. Why mess with them? You can flex, Chark. I don't know about that. All right, the Raiders, 6 and 5, the Jets, 0 and 11. Raiders are 8 point favorites after getting just destroyed by the Falcons. 46.5 point over under. That's 8 point road favorites, by the way. And here we are again. By the way, the bear should go get.
Sam Darnold. That's what they should do. They should, because the Jets are going to have Trevor Lawrence and Sam Darnold's going to be done. Jason's shaking his head. No, Sam Darnold is nobody's answer. I think Sam Darnold's career's been ruined by the Jets and... You're sticking a fork in Sam Donald? You don't think you can be resurrected by another franchise.
That's correct. I don't think he can be resurrected. I think he's developed too many fears, too many bad habits. You know, when you spend the first couple years of your life scrambling for your life and having no scheme to help you and no players to help you, you just develop bad tendencies, bad habits. I don't think anybody's rescuing him. And certainly not the Bears. If he goes to the Chicago Bears, there might be a worse offensive line. He would just start running.
Back to the end zone. Back to college? Yes. Take me back. You're underestimating. He's only 23. He's only 23 years old. Oh, that's a good point, Mike. And so, you know, he came into the league so young. Like the gap between him and Trevor Lawrence is two years. So I'm not going to bury him yet. I'm not going to bury him. Maybe the Bears is not the place that you want him to go. But my point is some team should potentially take a shot on Sam Darnold.
100%. And Adam Gase breaks the players down so that somebody else can build them back up and turn them into superstars. But let's break this game down. On paper, you should be able to play Derek Cart. Will I hit the drop? No, I won't. Will I allow Al to do it without firing him? No, I won't. What kind of paper are we talking about here?
The paper that tells you that the Jets defense is the worst in football over the last six weeks against the opposing fantasy quarterbacks. The paper that says he's ranked inside of my top ten quarterbacks to play this week. And if you want to play him, you can look at my rankings and you can make that decision. You're not endorsing him.
You've just put him there. It's on you. It's what I believe, but I'm not going to personally, this is not a personal endorsement situation. Actually, our rankings this week, it says he who shall not be named in place of this quarterback. So, okay. So beyond, if Derek Carr is going to throw the football to another player, it's probably Darren Waller. Yep.
Yeah, we can play that. But in the Jets defense, 38 fantasy points given up to opposing fantasy wide receivers over the last six weeks. 38 fantasy points to break down between Nelson Aguilar, Henry Ruggs, and company. Are you willing to, like we've been at the bottom of the barrel with the Bengals wide receivers and DJR, is Aguilar above all of those? Because he is to me.
I would put Aguilar above the Bengals. This is what I was saying when we were talking about Cincinnati, is that there's other options out there. I would rather play, you know, where you have an opportunity for real fantasy production. You don't have that opportunity with a third string quarterback.
And Derek Carr, if he has a bad game, a horrific game, you're not going to get much. You know, Nelson Agilor wasn't good last week because Derek Carr was atrocious. But even still, he had six targets, five receptions. He's the leader of this wide receiver core against the Jets. It should work out. And I would start him, you know, he's again, not one of those guys who are saying you got to get Agalore. He's a start of the week type of player. But he is someone you can turn to in this win and get a situation over the likes of those Bengals.
I would play Chark over Aguilor. I would as well if he's active. Josh Jacobs. If he starts, you start him. He is still working through the injury. Didn't practice on Wednesday. If he's out, are you confident with Devante Booker in this matchup? Yes. Elite pass catcher on the field a lot. And the way you said that is frightening. It's emphatic. Of course, I'm confident about.
he would be the only running back left, and this is the Jets team. And yeah, over the last six weeks, they've been, you know, top 10 against running backs because they've been so bad against, you just, it's hard to be bad against everything because there's just not usually that many fantasy points to give up to every position. But on the course of the year, they're bad. I don't think they fixed anything. I think the fantasy points just haven't come against them with the running back. And if he's the only man in town, I would, I would happily start Devante Booker.
Frank Gore, eat your prunes and play Frank Gore this week. Who was the original, now that we're getting to show 1000, people have been posting their favorite memories of the show, which reminds me of the salad. Was it Shondrone? No. Yes. He was the big salad. Yeah, he was the big salad. Because he was getting like eight targets a game. I mean, Frank Gore is your fibrous salad in your team right now. Activa.
