I am stacked at wide receiver, and I'm wondering right now if I should trade Alshan Jeffrey for Jeremy Hill. The other wide receivers I have are AJ Green, Sammy Watkins, DeAndre Hopkins, Cordrell Patterson, and a few other prospects. So would you do that? Would you trade Jeremy Hill for Alshon Jeffrey? Trade Jeremy Hill, wasn't it? No, it's Alshon for Hill. Right now he has A.J. Greeny, as Sammy Watkins, he has DeAndre Hopkins. That's not overly strong. You're not as stacked as you think you are. That was actually going to be my first point is generally when a player, I'm stacked at this position, and then they explain who the roster is, well, you just cool it. I mean, you're talking one injury or losing one player, and all of a sudden you go from stacked to I'm okay at that position.

which that's what you're talking about. If you're trading Jeffrey for Hill, I think the deal is completely fair. It is a PPR. He said PPR? It's a 12-Team PPR. I don't do that trade. Try to package DeAndre Hopkins with something else for Jeremy Hill. There you go. Yeah, that's perfect. There you go. That's a better decision. I guess than extrapolating what you said we like. But with the keepers I have, and hypothetically, if all the guys above are all on the board, which two would you take? When dealing with the Keeper League, when dealing with the Keeper League, how many teams have to change hands to reboot the league without keepers? Also, how do you handle expansion with keepers? I can speak to the second point. I can speak to the first. And I can do both. Whoa. What?

You're amazing. The hitman. No, he's wearing a man bun. I don't think it's a number of teams required to start over and to reboot. I think what it is is whichever teams aren't leaving have to desire that. So you've got to have the buy-in of whatever teams are sticking around because I think you could have 12 returning and just say, hey, guys, let's reboot. Everybody wants to start fresh.

other than the one guy who's dominating or something. And screw that guy. I think you just really need, you know, the unanimous or not unanimous, but the, you know, good majority of the people who were there last year. So if you got two new teams coming in and there's 10 left, you know, those have to be a majority they want to or four or whatever. I don't think it matters the number. And to your second point about how do you handle expansion with keepers, the most important thing.

to do in that situation is that you need to let you need to decide as a league way ahead of time that you're going to expand with keepers because that's going to require you to make considerations for the new teams in the form of keepers they need keepers to be in a keeper league and so if you want to do this expansion um you need to let people know a year before

Okay, that's one thing we did in our league. And then what we did, I guess that's the best way to say it is we held an expansion draft for the two new teams. All of the players that were back in the pool after keepers were selected, those two teams alternated picks until they had three keepers. Our league was a three keeper league. And then those first six picks were off the board, and then they just joined in at the back of the round for the remaining draft. Yeah. So that's how we did it in my other important league.

you come in and you don't give you don't have keepers that's actually how we do it where the cost and penalty to keep a keeper is is fair so for the teams that come in you just you start with a fresh team yeah that's yeah that makes sense a little brutal especially for those that do have the compensation that you're giving something up depending on yeah most leagues do have the round the round tradeoff so that makes sense true

All right, from the website, Marcos asks. He said he's been doing some research on wide receiver handcuffs. What exactly is your thoughts on this draft strategy? Very few. Very few thoughts. No, very few wide receiver handcuffs that I think are worth. I'm a simple man. The only one that comes to mind right off the bat is Devante Parker.

Or Devonte Adams, yeah. Because I think that if you are the owner of either Jordy Nelson or Randall Cobb, then drafting Adams is a good thing because even if the other guy goes down, I think you can play both. But if your guy goes down, then you're protected. I mean, what other situations are there? Because I don't think it's normally... It's not as cut and dry normally like that. Like, I mean, you have guys like Terrence Newman who you know could step into a bigger role of Deswent down, but he's also playing.

Devante Adams doesn't play as much, but he probably will this year. Yeah, maybe Moncrief in Indy? Yeah, I don't think so, because I don't know. I think our thoughts are that you just don't really pay too much attention to it. Because you'd rather spend what you would think would be this handcuffed wide receiver situation on another flyer. I'd rather have Rashad Perryman on my roster to see what he becomes. I'd rather have Philip Dorset.

over Moncrief to see what he becomes. Don't worry about going and getting a handcuff for your team. The only thing that you do want to do is that when you have a guy on your, when it comes time around the rounds where you're considering some of these high potential, Cody Latimer or Devante Adams. Latimer is a good name. If you have, you know, that's where when it's time and it's appropriate to grab those guys and you would grab them whether or not you have.

you know, Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson or the Marys Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders, if you've got one of those guys, it's not a bad idea. Don't shy away from taking them because that puts two of them on your team. What about like a situation like having Julio Jones and grabbing Roddy White if you can get them in the six or seventh round? The doubling up just on the one and the two? a lot of those lists aren't finalized necessarily by those experts. Essentially, in that game, if you want your rating to be the best, just grab the guy that they always recommend the most.
