He's pretty much at the ground floor with the other wide receivers. I will say this. He's a winner and a loser because you're right, his ceiling is not what it was, but his draft cost is going to be nothing now. Whenever a team comes in and drafts three rookie wide receivers, you're not going to say, oh, Krish Kirk's the one. But there's a good chance this year that Krisha Kirk is...

is the one as the, you know, the only veteran under the age of 34 on the wrong. Are there similarities to, like, how you viewed Geronimo Allison last year with the three incoming rookies in Green Bay and how you might view Christian Kirk this year and the three rookies coming in in Arizona? I think it's a fair, fair point. Because, I mean, it's, it's, I guess, a little bit different where we hadn't. We haven't seen Murray and Kirk together. Right. Well, you hadn't seen a lot from Geronimo.

So, Kim coming into the situation, it felt like the rookies could easily overtake him, and then he, in my opinion, took the job. So Kirk is a little bit more established, is what I'm saying, than Allison was in that scenario. All right, before we move on to the Rams, I will say this. We kind of come at it from three angles with Arizona. We have our own personal fandom just being born and raised out here, Cardinal fans. My own personal fandom has not been a Josh Rosen fan.

I wasn't happy that we drafted him. You've heard me talk about it on the show. Then you have the fantasy perspective, right? And fantasy-wise, I wasn't a Josh Rosen fan. But as a person, he impressed me through this situation. People don't know this. I thought I'd mention it. After the trade, he was sent to the Dolphins, after he was traded, he still stayed out here in Phoenix, participated in the charity event for Larry Fitzgerald's softball game, and the fans out here gave him a round of applause as he left, posted a really...

kind of funny, nice, respectful, classy video. And he was not complaining through this whole thing. I hope he has success in Miami. I really do. I think this could be one of those wins for Rosen where he doesn't have to come in now, week one. Like it fits magic down there and Miami's got a plan. They're going to trust the process. And Rosen can spend a little bit more time. You don't think Rosen ends up week one starter? No, I do not. You think Jason? I think he will.

Yeah. All right, let's move on to the Rams. There is one big storyline to talk about with Los Angeles in their draft. Obviously, we're focusing on offensive players. Jason knows what it is. And that would be the fact that the Los Angeles Rams traded up to pick up at the very beginning of the third round. At the top of the third round. A really good player. One of Mike and I's, I think, favorite running back in the draft, Darrell Henderson out of Memphis.

If you are a Todd Gurley owner, it is impossible not to call this a loss, a loser situation for Todd Gurley. Coming out of the draft, obviously Malcolm Brown, big loser, if he was the perceived handcuff. But Todd Gurley, this is some high draft capital insurance for an MVP level running back. How do you feel being, you know, you have Gurley in our Dynasty League, Jason? Yes. Please talk about that.

Look, I feel negative about it. The reality is, you know, we just say you don't want to follow coach speak, coach saying all the great things about getting girly the ball. What you want to follow is transactions. What is the team doing with their money, with their capital, with their draft picks. And what they chose to do was bring back the backup Malcolm Brown and then trade up for a third rounder and grab another running back because they are going to.

probably Batman and Robin this thing. Let me set that table a little bit more for you. They brought back Malcolm Brown. They matched an offer. He went out and was desired by another team and the Rams said, no, we can't possibly lose you. They traded up in the third round. This was only their second pick in the draft. So it's not like it was their third pick. They already, they already addressed some needs. They had a big need, apparently. That was a running back. Yeah, don't say big knee.

Because big me, that's a different thing. Here's the thing. We just put up our dynasty rankings or rookie rankings. It is very difficult. No matter what side of the fence you are on with Gurley's health, it's super difficult to rank him in dynasty formats right now. Yes. Because you just don't know what's true and what's false. I was staring down. And maybe you know more now? Or maybe they're just ensuring themselves with a more dynamic player, a pass catcher in Henderson, in case Gurley goes down.

I was staring down Todd Gurley and Joe Mixon in my dynasty rankings, just going, can I really move Gurley below Mixing? And I couldn't do it, but I know, Andy, you did do it. It was, I think Gurley's at seven in my dynasty running back rankings. And there is a difference. So fantasy owners, here's the two scenarios that I see for Todd Gurley. You guys tell me if you agree. Scenario one is that Todd Gurley isn't back to full health and won't get back to full health and will play a platoon role.

The other situation is simply that Todd Giller is now a higher injury risk in general, but is back to full health, will be the lead dog, and they needed to invest in a running back because of the risk. I lean that direction. That he will be back. He will be back to who he was, but millions of dollars in the wallets of their owners. I hope that's true. What's crazy about that for fantasy, and this, I'm talking redraft, when you're sitting there at pick number three.

And Todd Gurley is there, and you actually have hesitance about drafting him. And I won't blame you at all. That's going to be a very difficult thing to call your shot. Say, yep, Todd Gurley's fine. He's going to get all those goal line carries yet again, especially when they added Daryl Henderson. People, Daryl Henderson is really, really good. Please draft as late as you can in a redraft league.

If there was ever a situation where you need more information for as long as you can. This is it. Existing receiving core wasn't affected. They didn't take any wide outs in this draft. Didn't need to. No, they don't. Cooper Cop coming back, Robert was Brandon Cooks. All right, let's move on to the 49ers. The 49ers spent their first pick on Nick Bosa and then went wide receiver, wide receiver in the second and third rounds, top of each round on Debo Samuel. And then, yeah, Debo Samuel, Jalen Hurd,

Those are two really good wide receivers. Yeah, go ahead. Keep in mind, Debo Samuel was the third wide receiver taken in the draft. They could have, they had their pick of just about anyone out there, and they saw what a lot of people see, which is Debo is a great player. I mean, that's more draft capital spent here than what they spent on Dante Pettis. So the question is, is this negative for Dante Pettis? It's negative for Marquis Goodwin. Certainly.

Markey's good one has gone from fringe relevance to probably irrelevance at this point. Debo Samuel is a good wideout. We neglected him in our rookie show. He was in our show, Doc. We just... Time. Time we ended up, I think, talking about Isabella at the end, didn't talk about Debo. A lot of people projected Debo to go well below guys like D.K. McCaf that went way after him. But I know he's a favorite of many.

Uh, Jalen Hurd is much, he played in the slot a ton in college. He also played running back, only played one year at wide receiver. Um, there's a, there's some opinion that I've read about Hurd being used in a kind of, uh, Cordero Patterson type of role in this offense. So, kick returner? Well, no, no. I mean, gadget player. I mean, we're talking, it's just funny when I hear people use that cop, you're like, it.

It did not work out very well for Cordill. No, I'm not talking early career Cordero. I'm talking about last year with the Patriots where he had the opportunity to take handoffs, to take little this and that. So I believe that Dante Peders is an elite talent. And there's always a balance between putting more talent on a team and taking away from Pettis. I think it comes down to what is the confidence level that Jimmy Garampalo and the team has in Dante Pettas.

And if you believe, let's substitute, right? Like if, I don't know, the Giants when they had Odell had drafted Debo Samuel and Jalen heard you wouldn't think twice about the science. Not at all. Because a great talent demands great targets. It's very similar to, excuse me, Christian Kirk. I mean, Christian Kirk was the second round pick last year, showed enough to the team and on film. You're like, this is a good player. He's going to be able to do things. He's interesting for fantasy.

And then the team just came in and replenished the war chest with wide receivers. And I saw that as it's a negative for Christian Kirk. To me, this is a negative to Dante Pettis. I mean, the team could be better, but you...

For me, I'm moving Pettus down a couple of weeks. It's not to say that Pettus can't succeed. I think he has a talent to succeed. I think he will succeed, but the opportunity he has now is more difficult. But the big winner. He'll be the one. He would have been the one before the draft and he's the one after the draft. That's the only part to me that I'm, if he's on the field the same, you have some talent, more talent around him, but he didn't, he's not losing his wide receiver one spot.

I think the biggest winner in the whole situation, though. Jimmy Garoppolo? It's Jimmy Garoppolo. Because Debo Samuel and Jalen Hurd. Yeah, that's where we need to focus. Those are good players. And maybe it doesn't happen year one in their rookie year. But future-wise, I think Jimmy Garoppolo has some great weapons with Kyle Shanahan there. I really like what San Francisco did as far as, you know, you get the elite pass pressure and then you focus on your offense. Would you move Jimmy G out based on this draft?

If there's one thing that we haven't had any clarity on, and maybe that's starting to drip over into wide receivers, we don't know if it's Matt Barrett or Jerich McKinn or Tevin Coleman. Sure. We might not know of his Debo, Samuel, Dante Pettis, or Jalen Hurd or Marquis Goodwin, or George Kittal. But we know it's Jimmy Garoppel. I mean, Dynastie, I'll move him up. But short term, I mean, these are still rookies. So I'm not going to go crazy for the handsome one. Before we move off the team, though, we got it.

Do you know how old that punter is? Mitch Wisnowski? No, I am not aware of the punters. He was the punter selected in the fourth round. He was the fourth round selection. Oh, he's in Utah. Oh, I know he went on his mission. He's probably 28. He's 27 years old and he got drafted. Mitch, you're my hero. Are you telling me we can go back? Can we enter Brooks? 27 was a bit of go now. Look, I can put up. I can punt the ball at least 15 yards.

Impressive. Jason was our punter on our flag team. Yes, I was. He got up to 30 yards. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. With a forward roll, with a nice forward roll. I've seen some shanks. Purposeful shanks. More shanks than a prison cell. I don't give some more. I don't give a catchable ball. All right. Let's talk about this. This is on purpose. Let's talk about the Seattle Seahawks. Winners and losers from this draft main. Their weight room.

The big winner. DK Metcalf and Gary Jennings Jr. Two wideouts drafted in the third, or I'm sorry, the very end of the second round for Metcalfe and the middle of the fourth round for Gary Jennings Jr. out of West Virginia. They also drafted a running back, did they not, in the sixth round? But who are the winners and losers on the Seahawks? I mean, I think we do disagree about this the way that we're seeing the rookie drafts go.

I think Metcalf was a loser as far as rookie selections going to a low-volume passing team. They're our run first team, Schottenheimer. We've covered this ad nauseum. I think it was a not the best landing spot for what Metcalf could have become and what everyone wanted to, what the draft Twitter wanted him to become. Yeah, we're going to disagree there, dog, because I think while he dropped, and that's not good for your.

Your capital. I can't imagine. He's Randy over here. I can't imagine a much better landing spot because D.K. Maccalf, I don't see him being a hundred reception type player. If he pans out, you know, one of those guys that's getting 150, 60 targets, he's not a possession guy. He's a deep threat, an amazing talent on what he can do. And so, you know, that's where I think you've got a player.

who's matching up perfect with Russell Wilson. You saw how valuable on low target volume Tyler Boyd was. If you're running around buying time, I can't imagine a better target to throw it over the mountains to than DK Metcalf. So touchdown-wise, I think that's where D.K.'s fantasy value is going to come, and I think he matched up well to go to a team that might be losing Doug Baldwin. I don't have the same opinion of Metcalf as...
