November 5 activates the wrong Back to the Future day

A host treats November 5 as Back to the Future Day, gets corrected that October 21 celebrates Marty's trip to the future, then salvages the date because Doc Brown invented the flux capacitor on November 5, 1955.

moment

Jason is fifty minutes late for a flying two-story shed

The hosts expose Jason's lateness as Arizona's post-time-change hour becoming '50 minutes earlier,' then reveal the actual interruption: his fully built shed was too large for the gate and had to fly over the wall by crane. The shed becomes Dorothy's spinning house, a forbidden children's ride, a two-bedroom full-bath two-story home, and a place that needs witch legs beneath it.

moment

A Nico update receives a personal shut-up order

An unidentified host hears DeMeco Ryans say Nico Collins will continue to be evaluated and repeatedly orders him to shut up, clarifying that Andy is not the target. The reason follows: the host just traded for Nico and needs him badly.

moment

The Borgogon and Deucers run two invisible live fact checks

The hosts ask 'Kyle or Deucers' to verify whether Joe Flacco is the rest-of-season starter; the named source and qualified quote arrive in the next paragraph. Later they explicitly ask Kyle/The Borgogon for T. Higgins with-and-without splits, and the production comparison arrives immediately. Video never cuts away from the three hosts.

moment

Mike headlines Waiver Wire in two helmets

The Waiver Wire handoff mentions a feared spotlight but never displays one. The actual published bumper instead opens a Gridiron Gazette: Ballers Edition newspaper with Mike in a red-and-blue helmet, then shows Mike in a black jacket and bright green helmet beside the NFL Sunday Ticket logo.

moment

Fifty Five restores the rank the transcript lost

While the hosts recount Elijah Moore's 104-target season, the transcript ends the ranking phrase at 'wide receiver.' Published video supplies the missing number with the recurring FIFTY FIVE cue: both tilted title cards cover the split screen and a black-and-white Mike portrait appears at lower left.

moment

DJ Moore becomes a paid pissy-pants problem

The hosts call DJ Moore a 'pissy pants,' argue that frustration might be allowed if he worked pro bono but not after being paid, note that the Bears can hate the coach without becoming pissy pants, and mutate the label into 'pissy pancers.'

moment

Andy walks Jason into the Sticky Gesicki mousetrap

Sticky Gesicki begins with blind snap-count guesses before the answer lands at 36 percent and the hosts demand that the tape be scrubbed. Andy lays out 'sometimes you can't be picky'; Jason completes 'you can't be picky when you got to get sticky,' imagines Andy's cheese trap snapping his neck, thanks Andy for murdering him, and proposes walking him into bad jokes as a recurring thing. Jason later adds 'used to be icky, but now they're getting sicky' and calls for applause before boos.

moment

Terms and embargoes become a big-ocean contract

The Sunday Ticket disclaimer says terms and embargoes apply, and the desk decides embargoes must mean shipping restrictions. Asked for a definition, a host confidently calls an embargo 'a contractual issue in the ocean,' followed by the clarifier 'big, big ocean.'

moment

Full Stream Ahead puts all three hosts on a toy train

The Full Stream Ahead cue launches the recurring published bumper: photographic cutouts of Andy, Jason, and Mike ride a small red-and-black train across a green field, then the live desk returns beneath a Full Stream Ahead monitor graphic.

summary

Episode notes

Complete review of all 43 storyboard sheets plus targeted direct-video frames shows Mike, Andy, and Jason as the only live people: Mike sits left in a black-and-teal cap and white hoodie, Andy center in a black cap and glasses, and Jason right in navy. Jay Griz, a bear, a fourth host, a producer-camera cut, the Wheel, a punishment, Listener League canon, Megalabowl canon, and League of Record business are absent. November 5 first becomes a Back to the Future correction: October 21 marks the future trip, but November 5, 1955 is the flux-capacitor invention date. Jason is then roasted for arriving '50 minutes earlier' after Arizona's time change and for the real interruption: a fully built shed too large for his gate had to fly over the wall by crane. It becomes Dorothy's spinning house, a forbidden children's ride, a two-bedroom full-bath two-story home, and a place needing witch legs. The published video never shows Jason's private crane photo or shed. A Nico Collins update becomes personal panic when an unidentified host orders DeMeco Ryans to shut up, exempts Andy, and admits he just traded for Nico. Crew work is clearer: the hosts ask 'Kyle or Deucers' to verify a Joe Flacco report and receive a sourced quote in the next paragraph; later they ask Kyle—The Borgogon—for T. Higgins splits and immediately receive the comparison. Video remains on the hosts, so no producer or answering voice can be identified safely. The Waiver Wire transition mentions a spotlight but instead runs a real Gridiron Gazette bumper: helmeted Mike appears on a newspaper, then in a black jacket and green helmet beside Sunday Ticket. During Elijah Moore talk, the transcript drops a numerical rank, but video supplies the recurring FIFTY/FIVE cards and a monochrome Mike portrait. DJ Moore becomes a paid 'pissy pants,' then 'pissy pancers.' The richest chain belongs to Sticky Gesicki: 88- and 60-percent guesses crash into a 36-percent snap count and demands to scrub the tape. Andy baits Jason with 'picky'; Jason completes 'can't be picky when you got to get sticky,' imagines Andy's cheese trap snapping his neck, thanks Andy for murdering him, and says walking him into bad jokes should become a thing. Jason later adds 'used to be icky, but now they're getting sicky' and requests applause before boos. Finally, 'terms and embargoes' becomes shipping language and an embargo becomes a contractual problem in a 'big, big ocean.' The same paragraph launches the published Full Stream Ahead bumper, where photo cutouts of all three hosts ride a toy train.

On the play where Gisiki is wide open for a touchdown. It's like he already had the ball and they were going to tackle him. I mean, he's just out wide. Chase is out wide to the left. The ball is snapped and two defenders run at chase like they're literally about to launch and tackle him. And all the while Gisiki just leaks and goes for a hundred. He averages more receptions total without Higgins. But his production, his production is a. 1,700-yard pace with T. Higgins or 824 without because the defense focuses on you. Circling back to tight ends, I'm going to throw the name out there. He's a rookie. He's capable. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And he's on an offense that needs targets. Jatian Sanders. Both of them. Well, Jatian Sanders. Both. I knew you were going, Theo, yeah. Yeah, Theo Johnson, maybe no Slayden. Theo Johnson, here's what I'm talking about. It's the opposite of the Gassiki.

55:30 ↗

His snap counts, 89, 90, 97, 85, the last four weeks. He's been an 84% snap count player on the year. And if he earns more trust, he got into the end zone, is Daniel Jones. If you want to stay away, I get it. But both him and Giusehabian Sanders, both rookie athletic tight ends with upside. It's not, you know, it's kind of the opposite of putting Zach Earth on your roster. This is a dangerous thing to say, but the tight end waivers this week are. They're all right. They're okay because there's also Hunter Henry, who, like, Drake May's been playing fantastic. Targets of, if Hunter Henry is out there, that's a great. They used to be icky, but now they're getting sicky. Yeah. Look, 30 hit the applause button. Okay. Oh, the people loved it. I got you. Here comes the boo. Boston. Yeah. Hunter Henry, our numbers are 39% rostered.

56:27 ↗

Targets the last three weeks, nine, six, and eight. Oh, that's outstanding. I mean, that's, you got to get in on that. Defensive options this week, the Giants who I picked up last week for this week. Yeah, that was a good move. They're going to sack the crap out of Bryce Young. Yes. Atlanta's playing New Orleans and whatever they have left. Arizona's at home against the Jets. They're favored. I'd be terrified to play that one. I don't love the Cardinals. Honestly, I don't think there's a bunch of great pickups, but the Giants and Falcons are the two that are widely available and great pickups, great matches. I think Detroit's going to do pretty well against Houston if Nico's not back because they shut down. Hey, watch your mouth. Don't say that. I'm right next to you. If Nico's not back, on top of that, like I think that the Lions are a, they're a fine play.

57:23 ↗

This week, they don't have the upside as the Giants, but then the next week it's Jacksonville. And then the next week it's the Colts. So I think that you might want to just pick the lions up for a three-week stretch here. It's worth noting Zadarius Smith. Yes, yes, yes. At the trade deadline, the lines did acquire him. So they lost Aidan Hutchinson. Their defense has still been pretty good, but they obviously, when you lose one of if not the best pass rusher in the league, that hurts. Getting Zadariah Smith from the Browns is a great move. for the lines and will help their defense. So it's a good pickup for the future. Patriots play the Bears. Bears play the Patriots. So both sides of that might be okay. I'm curious what the over under that game is. I would love. I guess it's 37? I think the Chicago defense would be great against the Patriots office. Drake May has looked very good to me considering the situation. 39 and a half. But it's bad. Like his situation's bad. I don't expect the Patriots to be good.

58:21 ↗

especially on the road in Chicago. Tennessee put up 11 fantasy points against them last week in our league against New England, so you're right on that. That was today's waiver wire, brought to you by NFL Sunday ticket on YouTube TV. We're excited to announce that right now you can get NFL Sunday ticket for the rest of the season for only $209. Visit YouTube.com slash fantasy footballers to sign up today, terms and embargoes apply. No cancellations. Full stream ahead. I feel like embargoes are just like for ships. That's all it is. This is, is, is that what that means? That is what it means. Yeah, it's saying terms and shipping embargoes. Exactly. There are terms. And then if you're, if you're traveling from an ocean from free. There's, there's going to be some embargoes you've got to deal with. Right, right. Which is, of course, what is an embargo again? An embargo is a contractual issue in the ocean. Oh, okay. Yeah, big, big ocean. I'm going to stream.

59:23 ↗

Justin Herbert this week. Justin Herbert's been throwing the football quite a bit. They've up their pass rate. He was only averaging 23 pass attempts per game in the first four weeks. Now he's averaging 22 completions a game over the last three weeks. 287 passing yards a game is quite impressive. And with Quentin Johnston back, Ladd McConkey, I'm going to put Justin Herbert appropriately into that streaming category. And I feel like I'm doing something nice. You know what I mean? Took in the brunt of the head coaching change problems. Yeah, he deserves this. He deserves it. He's a good quarterback. Stream that man. This is a tough matchup, but he is a good quarterback. I'm going to go with Kirk Cousins, who's been on a heater. He's the quarterback 12 on the season. He's a quarterback one if you haven't paid attention. And since week five, he's completing 72% of his passes and on pace for 5,000 yards and 44 passing touchdowns. Over the last month, the Saints are 25th and scheduled adjusted fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks.

60:22 ↗

And if you're paying attention to the back and forth, Bijon running back market share, this is his down week. So Kirk Cusset. You're not worried about the coach one week bump here for the Saints. That is a real thing that is, I think we looked this. Why did we look it up earlier this year? One of the coaches, I don't remember who, but we were like, oh, it was the Jets. Yeah, it was like, do teams actually get better? rest of season after they fire the coach and it was basically for about a game it was like the next game their record is actually it was like above 500 I think and then after that the rest of the season it collapses so what's the situation though because I'm sure there's like 50 examples of coaches getting fired and also having Derek Carr is a quarterback the next week yeah there's there are several of those yeah I'll have to look up the I'll have to look up the data but there's at least four I don't think I know one

61:21 ↗

I know one man who is not picking the Saints this week. For sure. And it's Michael Thomas. Oh, man. That dude. That dude hates Derek Carr. I mean, with a pat. Like, there's a video of Michael Thomas driving around New Orleans talking to strangers about Derek Car. Right now. I tweeted out the moment that that pass that was way too high and put Chris Olavi in a position where he couldn't protect himself. And he got knocked out. I tweeted. that Derek Carr should be fined for basically throwing him a hospital ball and being the sole reason he's concussed. And Michael Thomas retweeted it. Almost instantly. Yeah. And then went on a rampage. I think Michael Thomas might blame Derek Carr for the injuries. Uh, yeah. And he's very bitter. Very, very better. The third streamer here.

62:17 ↗

It's gross. I was going to tell you. Everybody held their nose. I'm not holding my nose. I was going to pick this name, but you had him in the dog first. He's playing against the Carolina Panthers. It's Daniel Jones, who. How'd that go for Derek Carr last week? Derek, I will be in more with Daniel Jones and Derek Carr. Daniel Jones has four top 12 performances on the year. He's averaging 27 rushing yards a game. That's the nice four. And you know that it. Any given week, Daniel Jones can have a ton of rushing yards. Carolina 31st and schedule adjusted fantasy points to the quarterback position. You're not buying into the Carolina winning streak beginning here? No. That game will be weird. That'll be a weird one. Okay. There you go. We will get into Hungary for more of the TNF preview mailbag tomorrow. And a reminder. Go get the app. Go pick up the in-season app. Get access to the ultimate dashboard.
