If you listened to the press conference last week, the previous week, the first name out of Shanahan's mouth was Jeff. He said, we're hoping we have Jeff back. And then he used them and put him in. The first thing that happened this week in the press conference to start the week was we're hoping we have Tevin Coleman back. Yeah. Michael Pittman, designated to return from my R.

Fantasy players really don't need to care about this. What else is going on? We have trade rumors. I talked about AJ Green. I think that there is the possibility that they are showcasing what's left of AJ Green with the target totals. This is a team that's looking towards the future, right? Michael Gallup, Dallas is reporting they're not willing to trade him. I wouldn't. I would be trying to trade.

Amari Cooper's contract if I was to Dallas Cowboys. I don't think they're going to do that. Good luck. There are also rumors about Will Fuller, who's on his fifth year option right now. It seems doubtful that he'll return to Houston next year. And there's been rumors about Green Bay with Will Fuller. Green Bay has at least inquired about Will Fuller. The fact Green Bay would even make a move seems so foreign. It seems like they're a team that just doesn't do that type of thing. However,

They should do that type of thing. Absolutely. This is a team that they realize they just need one or two more pieces on offense to help. They're so close. And so they're like maybe we could use a first or second round pick as trade since we completely refused to use a first or second round pick to help our team going into the season. By the way, the Minshew injury. Jacksonville didn't even know about it until this week.

Yeah. So he didn't even tell him. Well, his thumb was sore. And apparently they're like, okay, we need to x-ray this thing. They asked him, is your thumb sore? Is it still bothering you? Because it looks like it's still bothering you. No practice on Wednesday for Aaron Jones, Joe Mixon, who both missed last week. No practice for Miles Sanders or Mark Ingram, who both, well, Sanders missed last week. Ingram was banged up in the previous game.

No practice for Michael Thomas. Everything about Michael Thomas is this was a serious hamstring injury. So I don't feel like he's going to play this week. No way. I don't either. But these are all names that you will have to pay attention to. It's just Wednesday at this point. But when a player misses the previous week and they're not out there on Wednesday or for Mark Ingram had a buy week, it's definitely troublesome. I also see a couple names not in here that I want to mention. Deontay Johnson did not practice with the toe injury.

So we'll have to monitor him. He may not play. I mean, he missed a week two weeks ago due to injury. And Juju didn't practice again, but he's been missing every Wednesday. And also missing. He showed up last week. I know. I know. I'm not dead yet. No practice for Austin Hooper. We don't expect him back. And then Alan Robinson, Philip Lindsay, both in the concussion protocol along with Andy Dalton. So a reminder, take your Thursday night players out of the flex spot. We remind you every week.

So it's always fun when you're playing fantasy football to go look at radars and Dopplers. Yeah, this is the first week of the 2020 season where we will have a lot of.

You're going to have to pay attention to that. Follow, you know, our social media will be tweeting out anything that's relevant. Because while we will tell you in the game matchups, we're going to give you a heads up, this is what the expectation is. We're four days out. You know, it's hard to predict the weather that's coming up in about.

you know, 45 minutes, let alone four days from now. And to keep with the theme of shooting your shot, like you have to make a judgment call on some of that weather stuff. You can't overreact to it because we've had more than enough examples of players performing well. I mean, Mahomes didn't play well last week fantasy-wise in the snow, but then like the previous game in the snow, he was great. He tore the opponent apart. I was just watching the graphic, the YouTube graphic for the fantasy forecast, which is, you know, it's a nice graphic. It's put together and it highlights, you know,

trying to make us think, you know, we're going through these matchups. And I saw flash flood come up there because we talk about weather. But have we, I mean, have we seen the flash flood on the field? No, not yet, but that will be an amazing. The run game and the passing game will be affected by a flash flood. Unless you're Miami could benefit Miami.

Because they're dolphins? That's right. All right. The New England Patriots are two and four take on the Buffalo Bills, who are five and two. Just saying that sentence feels strange because it hasn't been said in 20 years. 2020, bro. Yeah. The implied points total for New England, 19. For the bills, it's 23. They are four point favorites. It's a very modest 42.5 point over under.

And, you know, the bill's offense, it has not been what it was the first four weeks. And the same goes for Cam Newton and the New England Patriots. He has been really, really bad. And so this is a tough, a tough situation. You look at the defense for Buffalo, and you've seen some running backs take advantage of this defense.

They are currently in the bottom half in terms of fancy points given up to the running back position. Now, I say all that not to highlight a possible James White start because don't. A Rex Burkhead, no. Damian Harris, if desperate, maybe. But I'm saying it because Cam Newton runs the football. And so if this is his opportunity to stay as the starting quarterback, he's going to need to do it with his legs as well as his arm.

I'm just very, very hesitant about any decision regarding starting Cam Newton this week. We know it can be really bad and we know that he could get pulled. Both of those things could happen in this game, divisional game, on the road. Do you guys have a different level of confidence in rolling Cam Newton out there? I have exactly what you just described. I mean, you can put him out there because he can booty scoot. And, you know, if he's going to come on, Cam.

Come on, Cam. If he's going to run, he's absolutely fine for fantasy. He didn't run last week. He wasn't good for fantasy last week. This is a low-scoring projection from Vegas, one of the lowest of the week, which is surprising to see with the Buffalo Bills. Their offense had been very high on the over-unders for Vegas for the first couple of weeks. And this is also another one of those games with projected poor weather. It's not one of the three worst.

But it's still not good. You know, 15 mile an hour winds should be rainy. So I, outside of Cam, running the ball, there's not another patriot. I wouldn't put James White in there. No, Julian Edelman. No. I cannot trust him. He's been awful for three weeks. Mikhail Harry's in concussion protocol. So I guess in some ways that makes it very simple. I would just avoid New England this week.

Yeah, I would stream if you have cam. The biggest question of this game is Josh Allen. Absolutely. Everybody wants to know is excellent. Hopefully. Josh Stallion, will he come through. Now, I will say this. I don't think this is a Josh Allen game. I don't think this is going to be one of those first three weeks. I think it's going to be one of the previous three weeks. However, his previous three weeks that have been super disappointing.

You know, in our scoring format where we have six points per passing touchdown, he's pretty much scoring 20 points a week. He has a baseline due to the rushing, due to Beasley and Diggs. Diggs. But I don't think you're going to get a ceiling out of this game. If that's what you need in your matchup, I feel like you're going to want to look elsewhere. It is concerning. This is one of those games where in the studio, we've talked about various pivot options.

We have a lot of Josh Allen in a lot of our leagues from, you know, just hyping him in the preseason. You know, I'm looking at Ryan Tannahill this week over Josh Allen in a league. There are some other possibilities. You know, Mike mentioned yesterday he would play Teddy Bridgewater. So Josh Allen is a player that if that's who you have a quarterback, you can put them in there. You're not going to get destroyed this week, I don't think. Because I do think Buffalo wins this game. I just don't think that New England is going to be able to put up enough points.
