The big ones, the big fish. Dak Prescott is the largest fish of the quarterback free agents. But he's not alone. This is the biggest year of quarterback free agency in modern NFL history. That's bold. But it's not even, I mean, it's bold that it's happening, but it's not a stretch at all because usually there are no quarterbacks on the market. I mean, when Kirk Cousins was on the market, it was this huge deal.

And he had to, just to get to that point, he had to go through two different franchise tags. Yeah. Because good quarterbacks are not available. You're going to want to go to YouTube. And I would say what bolsters your case is the greatest quarterback of all time. Tom Brady is actually a free agent. But before we get to Tom Brady, let's go to Dak.

Do we expect any transition from Dak? He's going back to Dallas for me. Dak is the easiest one to talk about because he's not going anywhere. He's a cowboy. They're not going to let him go away. the side of James Winston will return to Tampa Bay. It's going to be great for fantasy. He will continue to throw lots of touchdowns and lots of interceptions. Things have kind of started to trend, like the stench, the whispers from the bushes have gotten a little bit louder that the team wants to move on. I still choose to believe this is a leverage play by the team, trying to make and take a little bit less money. So I'm still going with James Winston. We'll be back.

in Tampa Bay. Have you been swayed by the Peter Kings of the world? I don't listen to the Peter Kings of the world, but, you know, I, there's, there's a real, realistic path to James Winston not being a Tampa Bay Buccaneer. And that really is entirely up to Tampa Bay. I don't think there are teams clamoring over themselves to get James Winston, but it is, it's also not without.

You know, I think about that because that's like really, really bad. But he's, if, let's say he goes in signs with the Titans, as I've been saying forever. If he were to go to Foxborough and play as a Titan, he will get cheered. He will not be booed. Wow. I mean, if Tom Brady goes back to Foxborough in a different uniform. Will he be cheered or booed? What is your opinion? I think they're.

I think that it would be a smattering of both. I'm going to say the cheering will outperform the booing, but he will definitely be booed by at least 30% of the stadium. You know, it's one thing if you're like when LeBron left Cleveland and he was a great player, but he hadn't done, you know, for Cleveland at that point the first time around, what they had hoped. I'm saying that when Tom Brady signs with good old head coach, Mike Rabel, best friend, and plays for the Titans, then Ryan Tannanhill is a very serviceable quarterback who could definitely do good things with the Patriots. I don't disagree with that.

But I'm just, the QB swap? Yeah, I mean, I look, it's a reality show. It should have a reality show. And I'm sure there will be plenty of behind the scenes on both of those teams. And we could turn it in after the fact to a reality show. Let's talk about running backs. Melvin Gordon, we kind of alluded to it, uh, that he will not be back with the Los Angeles Chargers. He's going to head to free agency. He's going to try and get the bag.

Unfortunately for Melvin Gordon, perception is a bit of reality. He is not the hottest free agent at the running back position. That honor goes to King Henry, to Derek Henry, unless I'm mistaken. Are you with me? You're 100% not mistaken. Derek Henry is the bell of the ball at running back. If a team is wanting to make their entire offense predicated on a running back, which is what you have to do if you're talking about.

paying one of these guys what they're asking. You have to make them a centerpiece. It's certainly Derek Henry. Now, there are certain teams that might say, I prefer Melvin Gordon's skill set because he's a pass catching running back as well, a true three-down player. That's not really Derek Henry's forte. Derek Henry only needs two downs, Jason. That's why. You're not wrong. I mean, this last year seemed to work just fine. So Melvin Gordon.

there's been talks that he could end up back with the Chargers, that he wants to be there and that they want him, which is just crazy to me.

What? Who is saying this? That's everywhere. I mean, I'm not hearing this. You have not heard that the Chargers want to sign Melvin Gordon. I've also, but I've been asleep for 48 straight hours. Yeah, I mean, look, I don't, I don't take it as much more than just simple responses to questions put on the T by reporters. You know, would you want Melvin Gordon back? Sure. Yeah. That sounds great. That's fair. But the reality is you just had this whole cycle where you couldn't come to a.

an agreement on a long-term contract already, same team, same player. A year later, where he performs worse than previous, why would they come to an agreement now unless Gordon's just willing to take less money? They drove down his value. Yeah, they had a plan, they had a master plan to save money. So where do you have Melvin Gordon going? I have Melvin Gordon going to Houston. I think that the Houston Texans are, and it's a sensational spot for fantasy value. Melvin Gordon and Houston.

becomes very, very interesting, high-powered offense. They don't necessarily throw to the running back all that much, but Carlos Hyde was able to have a resurgence. I mean, he rose from the ashes like a Phoenix. Nobody wanted Carlos Hyde. He went to Kansas City. It seemed like, uh-oh, all the Damien Williams owners were freaking out about Carlos Hyde, who got cut? And then, I mean, just ends up down in Houston. So,

I think Melvin Gordon goes there. I'll be interested in drafting him. If he's a Texan, running back what? I think he can be a low-end one. So for fantasy, you're saying running back 10 through 12. Yeah. 10 to 15. 10 to 50. Like 10 to 30-ish. Oh, okay. Bold, bold take there. I'm here to be accurate. Yeah. I have Melvin Gordon much to my.

Shagrin. Oh no. Going to a team who was rumored to be interested in the trading market last year has plenty of money. I believe can make poor decisions as in paying a running back a lot of money. Desperately wants to be a team that runs the ball more and hasn't been able to do it because the guy they brought in to be their main running back who is awesome has been injured.

Carry on Johnson. Carry on words. I think Melvin Gordon has a realistic shot ending up in Detroit, which would suck for fantasy. It would suck for Melvin Gordon. Yes. It would suck for Carry on Johnson. It is. I'm pretty upset that you're even speaking this into existence. Yeah, I don't want it to happen. This is not where I want him to go. Andy kind of agrees with me. He has him going to Detroit as well.

But in the notes it says, or Houston or Tampa Bay or Washington. So if Melvin Gordon doesn't end up on one of those teams, Andy, you took the shotgun approach and still missed if he resigns with the chargers. But you've got a pretty good list there of teams who have the money and want a running. I'm also just realizing now that in our league of record,

where we have to put, we have our franchise player that we get to keep, and then we get to fill a pool of three players. Randomly two of those people will be selected. And they can't be the same position as the franchise player. Right, but heading into the off season, I thought, you know, I've got a lot of running backs here. I can fill up the pool. It's going to be great. Two of those players would be Melvin Gordon and Kerry on Johnson. Oh, man. My keepers will get kicked right in the gooch. Oh, man.

Like big toe first. Well, at least there's a bright spot. Because I don't want him to go to Detroit. No, the bright spot is that your team gets trashed. And that makes me very happy because I am not your team. I am your opponent. Kenyon Drake, he came over from Miami Dolphins. He was hot fire for the Arizona Cardinals. He had the fourth highest yards per touch among running backs through the first five seasons in the league. Canyon Drake.

Extremely talented. Keeps getting buried by teams. Now, he was finally freed by Arizona. We really saw what he got to do. But 26 years old, he's a very interesting free agent at the running back position. I have him going to Atlanta. I am buying in that the Falcons are going to release Devon to Freeman. They're going to get him off the books. They need kind of like a high profile.

running back to make that offense really work. Kenyon Drake has the skill set that Matt Ryan needs, which is he can be a two-down runner. He can also catch the ball. We disagree where Kenyon Drake is going to land. Yeah, I think he does come back to Arizona. Now, he is an unrestricted free agent. He can go anywhere he wants. And if any team wants to pay up based on what he has shown through these first five seasons, especially the second half of this year with Arizona, then certainly someone could outbid them.

But this is really based upon my belief that Steve Kime is going to make the wrong decision for the Arizona Cardinals, their general manager. Steve Kime already kind of made the wrong decision, I believe, in trading away, what was it, a fifth round pick for Kenyon Drake for a couple of games. Sounds right. And then he was going to become an unrestricted free agent. So they rented on a bad team.

that was not playoff bound. They gave away an important draft pick to rent a running back for a few games and then he becomes an unrestricted free agent. Steve Kime, I think, is going to double down and want to prove that he was correct to bring him in house, pay the man a lot of money, whether or not they're able to get rid of David Johnson. And while I don't like, as an Arizona Cardinal fan, I don't like spending all of that money on running back. They do have a lot of cap room.
