You know, we didn't pass for crap today. I wouldn't look much into it. The coverage was rolling over his direction. Yeah, they played against me before. They knew what to do to shut him down. He's just so good. Guys, he's just so good. They scheme him out. Oh, do you remember? I don't know. If you weren't watching this game, you know, if it was just, if you're on Red Zone or whatever, you might not have seen the brilliant moment on the broadcast. We should have taken a picture of this. The broadcast team, I haven't seen it on Twitter, puts up this graphic.

14:42 ↗

comparing json and morvin harrison on the screen just like hey let's take a look at the two ohio state guys and how they're how they're competing and it was like oh no at the moment it was seven for 139 and two for json who put up a third later and zero for marv i mean the fact that they put that graphic up just look i will apologize for that one

15:08 ↗

Because I like the idea that Marv with, the fall process was LaFleur would get him going. And all the reports in the offseason were very positive. But look, I'll eat that one. That one's not an injury. I can't control the injuries. I can control whether I ever mention Marvin Harrison as a start again. I think the junior. Yes. Respect to the old man. The hard part for Marv is, look, we're in our small sample size. We're in our two games. It seems like the chargers might just be very bad.

15:38 ↗

You had the Cardinals upset what the double digit spread. And then they are the, so you're like, oh, well, maybe the Cardinals are okay. And then they, but then they have to play the Seattle Seahawks defense, which is elite. And so moving forward when they're playing bad teams, I guess Marv will still be bad. Yes. Yeah, yeah. That was the summary of it. I mean, it's just. Targets are earned. We've said that so, like targets are a stat that is.

16:05 ↗

important because you have to earn the target. You have to get open. You have to be in the right spot. Quarterback has to trust you. You have to have your head around. Watching him, just watching him every play, he has no, there's no world where you can throw him the ball. Mike, your son is in high school football right now. Is there any coaching strategy to when the play is not drawn up for you in particular, just take the play off at wide receiver? Is that what they teach?

16:31 ↗

Oh, no. Just take the, oh, no. Oh, no, they don't. Does that clue the defense in on maybe where the ball's going to go if somebody just barely runs? Lolligags? Yeah, lollygags down the field. I'm so, I'm so ashamed of him. Yes, we got the graphic on the screen. And they, oh, man, just bodied him right on the broadcast. Why? I love a, I love a good dunk, but why are we doing that? He's our DK Macap. I wish to much.

17:00 ↗

To he who... You wish. So much better. I mean, but a player who has all the physical gifts and abilities, but something in the motor or energy or, you know, something is missing there. I don't know what it is. We've had enough years. They showed Marvin Harrison's first two games each of the last three years. It's a decline. Like, Marvin's not improving. He's declining.

17:24 ↗

The Cardinals had to go pay Michael Wilson. Trey McBride gets all the targets. Kendrick Bourne is more involved on a weekly basis. I'm sorry. I can talk about it all day. I'm honestly just disappointed. 6.5% targets per route run. Ew. All right. So Pooka tonight. Look, if you have Puka and you're riding dirty into this evening, Malachi Fields, Terrence Ferguson, 2-2 Atwell, these are your game day game time pivots. Those are the options. So.

17:51 ↗

You could take a shot. Hopefully you did the smart thing, like we say every week, put them in your flex position before the week begin, so you have the ability to go put in whatever if Blake Corman was sitting out there or Singletary or some emergency player. But I'm going to blitz the injuries here, guys. If you have a thought, jump in real quick. DJ Moore day to day, expected to practice AC joint sprain. Caleb Williams, carted off, hamstring injury. Bears optimistic that they've avoided serious injury MRI today. They have not even...

18:20 ↗

They're not even ruling him out for this week yet, but he'll probably miss a couple. Sequin Barkley missed most of the game on Sunday. If you watched, it was a lot more Will Shipley than it was. Tank Bigsby from a snap count perspective, but it was not Saquan. MRI for a stinger to evaluate his neck. Dadarian Price left with an injury, chest injury, optimism that he avoided significant injury. It wasn't a great day for either of the...

18:49 ↗

Notre Dame running backs that came into the into the league that played each other. It was a great day for Emmanuel Wilson. It was. J.K. Dobbins exited with an injury. Oh, no, it's just, it's just a little. He said he was going to play 17 and this one counts. Yes, it does. So if he gets back for week three, he can still be a man of his work. But I will say that it gave opportunity for Jonah Coleman, who looked great. Jonah's probably the number one pickup stole, you know, the Broncos won the game. He got a touchdown.

19:19 ↗

Yeah, I think we got waiver show tomorrow. We'll work through all the rankings. I think Jonah Coleman's near the top, but I think Josh Downs is too. Sure. With the Alec Pierce injury and the fact that Keenan looks absolutely donezo. Like Josh Downs got a huge target chair. I, you know, Pierce is going to be out for a while. I mean, he left with an ankle foot injury. X-rays were negative, but he left on crutches. But it's a surgically repaired. It's a nightmare. And he just got paid.

19:49 ↗

This one sucks too. I mean, there's been a bunch of them. Jonathan Brooks reagravated his groin injury, went to the medical tent, was getting consoled by Chuba Hubbard. I mean, not good. For a guy with the injury history that he has, yikes. Jaden Daniels. Yeah. Left with the dislocated left elbow. It looked like it was the same exact thing. I don't know how he doesn't have a brace on. I just don't. Yeah. From what I understand, they said this on the broadcast, he doesn't have a ligament in that elbow anymore.

20:18 ↗

so I don't it can just flop around well I mean or whatever whatever happened whatever that happened I don't know it's like sometimes people live without an ACL like Papa Josh back there I don't know maybe maybe I didn't get the surgery and I don't I don't know we need to go I don't know it's exploded maybe I miss heard okay if he didn't have surgery I don't think the ligament disappeared but that's what somebody said and

20:43 ↗

Clearly this thing can flop out of place any time he puts his left hand on the ground. How are you not in a brace? I don't know. It's a non-throwing elbow, and we don't know how long the prognosis will be. It's a bummer. He was playing very well. We'll get more news soon, but I would expect he's going to miss a month at least. Yeah, it seems like it. J.K. Dobbins, we talked about Rico, turf or toe injury. Sorry, it could be turf toe. Returned in the second half. Jaden Reed. This was scary. Left on a stretcher, neck injury, compression impact.

21:13 ↗

to the top of the head, did have feeling in his extremities, very scary one, probably going to miss time in concussion protocol, I would guess at least a couple of weeks. But don't know yet. So, DeMarcus Robinson, high ankle sprain. He's out for a while for the 49ers. They're going to have to sign somebody because Mike Evans exited with the hip injury as well. Again, doesn't appear to be serious, just like everything they've said about every injury has had all offseason so far. I will say that they were.

21:41 ↗

trouncing them by the time he left. So I can't imagine. Like if he had a non-serious injury, he would probably not come back. And he didn't. So there is a chance that this actually is not serious. And by the way, he does have, this would be Jaden Daniel's left arm. He does have a ligament. They're just all completely torn and unrepaired. So that's what it was because they, he had the basically the Tommy John injury in the left elbow.

22:10 ↗

But they chose not to do surgery. It's not his throwing arm. But structurally, seems like a problem if those things are meant to be, you know. Yeah, not doctors. Seems like he should have had the surgery. Perhaps. Caleb Douglas, walking boot. It's offense rookie. There's an offense that doesn't look good. And a schedule that looks even worse. Yeah, they're going to be really up there for the number one pick. I mean, I believe they play.

22:40 ↗

Oh, yeah, Kansas City this week. And then Minnesota and then Cincinnati before the buy. Who, but if you haven't been paying attention, Cincinnati's defense looks fantastic. My Bengals. We're looking good. The Bengals defense. You might look better than the offense. Really does look like they're a regular NFL defense that can shut someone down, which we haven't seen that in a minute. So Jayden's prognosis is can rehab for a few weeks and return with the brace for the rest of the year or you can have surgery in the off season or you can have surgery now and the season's over.

23:10 ↗

Oh, man. So, I'm sorry, Commander's fans. It's going, it's not going well. No. Dallas Goddard, right knee injury, right after he was performing well. I'll say, like, if Sequin missed his time and Goddard misses time, they were real close to losing that game to the Titans. They should have. They looked so bad. I mean, the Eagles looked. Only Devante Smith looked good in that game, too. Yeah. Where's lemon?

23:39 ↗

I mean, he slithering somewhere, Mikey Lemon. I actually think McKay Lemon, from what I understand, I think he ran more routes than Dantavian Wicks. It's just all the tar- I got a snake, man. All the targets went to Dantavian Wings. That is correct. David Najoku and Charlie Kohler to add injury to insult. Who both left. Gaston's back. Both left early against the Raiders. Kohler was with an arms sling after the game. Nijoku was carted off. So, yeah, Arronda Gadsden, who scored, right? I mean.

24:09 ↗

back into the conversation. And my goodness, there you go for the news. We'll take a break. We'll turn it positive and talk about the studs before we hit the duds. All right. Man, what a week. Let's get into it. This week's fantasy stud muffins. Like I said, waivers show tomorrow. And if you want custom waivers for your league, that's in the ultimate dashboard at jointhefoot.com if you want to get in there. Top five scores of the week.

24:49 ↗

The top two were on Thursday. Josh Allen and Jared Gough one and two. Dak, Mahomes, and Purdy finishing it out. Purdy was one intentional grounding throw. I think from the first 100 perfect QBR in the history of the NFL. That's how efficient his game was. I think he was 15 for 16 and absolutely just carved him up. It seemed nonchalant. But look out next week for Brock Purdy. It's the Arizona Cardinals.

25:19 ↗

Oh, man. Purdy's really good. And he got to play the dolphins whose defense is as good as their offense. Yeah. Well, look, Purdy was the start of the week. Dak was the start of the week. Nice to see those guys in the top five. You know who looked like maybe behind Purdy, maybe the second best quarterback of the week? Or on the Sunday at least. Bryce Young looked. Yes. He was sizzling. Bryce. And he looked like he was having a good time.

25:47 ↗

This is unbelievable. This would be so good for fantasy. If we can have, you know, a young quarterback that was supposed to be great, be good. I mean, two weeks in, you can't ask for more than he did. I know that both matchups were easy-ish. You know, he hasn't faced a gauntlet schedule yet. The first two weeks, you'd hope that he could do what he did, but he did. And so that's great for Coker, for Tett McMillan. And of course.

26:15 ↗

The walrus. Yeah. We even have that? We do somewhere. There's somewhere. Thank you. But their pass rate over expectations, like their neutral pass. It's very high right now. The Panthers and Bryce Young. Best two games. I didn't think it could be done, but this is incredible. Incredible. Uncrustable. This is incrustable. Tyler Shock got it done, 252. Oh, man.

26:44 ↗

Had a rushing touchdown and a passing touchdown. Leads the NFL and passing yardage with Bryce Young just behind. Yeah, he does. Gets the Raiders and the Falcons for the next two weeks, which is great. And then maybe, maybe. Maybe you get Jordan Tyson back. But Valet has looked good. Joanne Johnson has looked good. Oliva is a machine. So this is a very exciting offense. And, you know, he rushed the ball nine times. So for fantasy football.

27:13 ↗

And they won on the road. This is a team that was like a play, one place from being 2 and 0 on the road against the lions, on the road against the Ravens. With one of the worst halves of football I've ever seen a quarterback play. Right now the game goes on and Chuck has gotten better over the back half of these games. They were down 176 at one point. Baltimore, I thought like the Saints are lucky they caught Baltimore with the diminished weaponry.

27:42 ↗

But they also played well. They did the thing that I don't understand it, but it happens so much over the last 10 years where all of a sudden the team that has Derek Henry loses a game that they were winning because they stopped giving him the ball. It was like he was dominating them. And then they gave him like five carries in the second half. And lo and behold, it was worse. Yeah. And a shout out for a competent performance by Cam Moore this week. Kirk Cousins was great. He was on the

28:12 ↗

fantasy face off on Friday. And then Drew Locke also, where credit is due, really just executed the offense to perfection. It was. It was five carries for Derek Henry in the second half. That's not okay. What are you doing? He was so good in the first. I mean, I guess that game got tied up pretty quick, but still, it was just, it was too much on Lamar's shoulders. Well, the top five running back scorers of the week were familiar names. It was all the big boys. Jonathan Taylor, Kenneth Walker, with no touchdowns.
