And his name is Blake Bortles, and we talked about it earlier. And I'm starting him this week. He was 273 and two last week. Listen, Butler, Brown, and Chung, the D-Bs for New England, are all poorly rated on pro football focus. Jason talked about it earlier. The passing D for New England has not been good. And so basically, I'm taking the same standard that Jason did with Alex Smith. I believe you're shooting for the 202.

138 passagesnumber to get kind of adequate to good production from your quarterback in this situation. I think Bortles is a guy that you can throw in there. I would start him over Joe Flacco this week. I would start him over a lot of other players that you might not expect because I think he has a potential, especially in a shootout to just be throwing the ball all game long. I really like that pick. I think he's going to get 275 and two with a clear pick. That would be basically like last week. And so Blake Bortles is a surprisingly
athletic guy. I mean, he can run. Yep. He's running for at least 25 yards per game. In fact, Bill Belichick said that him and Tyra Taylor are not that dissimilar in his preparation for them because they played Taylor last week and Blake Bortles is who they're facing this week. So very interesting thing there. So let's go ahead and get into our mailbag section. We're going to answer some listener questions. Mailbag. Mailbag.
All right, let's get into the mailbag and go to the website, the fantasy footballers.com. Click on the submit a question button, send us your question. We put some on the show. You can also call us at 302-464 TFFB and send us a voicemail question. Josh in Mesa, Arizona. Howdy, neighbor? Neighbor. I have Antonio Brown and was offered Levion Bell. Should I do it? Oh, that is an interesting question.
So his other wide receivers are DeAndre Hopkins and Keenan Allen. For running backs, he has C.J. Anderson, Forset, Dionne Lewis, Allington, and David Johnson. No, I don't. I hold on to Brown. Yeah, you don't have the wide receiver core to lose Brown. Okay. I levy on Bell's the man, but Antonio Brown is the man. We're going to go as far from Mesa, Arizona as we can. Tom in Hong Kong. Connie? No. What?
Yeah, bonjour. We've been pulling out a few of the international write-ins lately. I love it. Hey, guys, love the show. It has kept me sane while staying up until 6 a.m. to watch the Sunday night games, because he's in Hong Kong, since he's moved out to Hong Kong. So, question regarding his flex position. He has Amir Abdullah, Dionne Lewis, Brandon Cooks, Stevie Johnson, and Mike Wallace. Who's the start there for you? He needs one? Yeah, yes. Dionne Lewis for me. You know I'm going to go with Amir Abdullah.
And I want that water bet. Oh. Dionne Lewis versus Amir Abdullah. Waterbet. Hey, I'm all about backing up your rankings with the bet. And you can go see those water bet videos, by the way. They're on our YouTube channel. And subscribe on YouTube. It means a lot to us. And Tom. Tom, I hate to do this to you. But I go with Stevie Johnson. So we have helped you.
Not at all. Not at all. So start Brandon Cooks. Obviously, if he's listening to the show, he has a favorite, that's probably me. So he'll go with Stevie Johnson. There you go. Jimmy, Mass. There's so many letters. In Canfield, Ohio, Andrew Luck has been struggling in the past two weeks while Palmer has been on fire right now. Luck is predicted to get more points. This is a great question. Okay, so it's Palmer Luck. This is tough. It's extremely tough. Palmer at home is, he is in Fuego.
At home. Palmer versus, you know what this is. You find the Titans, right? Yeah. It was very similar to the question, I believe it was yesterday, between Ben Rothesberger and Palmer. Don't you think this comes down to what you really need from your team this week, where luck has the higher ceiling? Yeah, I can agree with that. I think luck has the higher floor as well. I would go luck. I mean, it's just a matter of if the touchdowns get ran in by Arizona. But the last two weeks, that's what makes this hard is the last two weeks have said that's not true for luck.
Yeah. If Andrew Luck craps his pants against the Titans. My goodness gracious. All hell will break loose. I think Pagano could be Pagano. Pagano. All right. Shannon in Texas. First, y'all seriously crack me. She's really from Texas. Y'all really crack me up while I'm at work. So thank you. I am two. Thank you. Yeah. I am two and oh because of your advice. My question is this. She has Kelsey and.
Eiffert. Ooh. Do I try to trade one of them for a better wide receiver, or do I keep them both and play one as the flex. I do not believe Eifford is flex-worthy, and I don't really believe Kelsey's flex-worthy. So I would absolutely trade one of these guys. And I would trade either of them. I'd prefer to trade Eifert. But you've got to trade one and strengthen your team. But make sure whenever you do trades like this and say, okay, I want to unload this guy.
You shop around. You don't just talk with one guy and see what you can get. You talk to everybody and see what the best deal is for Eifford. Her wide receivers currently are Antonio Brown, Alan Robinson, Crabtree, Cook. So she's not desperate or struggling. So do not make a move unless somebody's blowing you away with an offer. All right. That's it for today's show. But listen.
Just because it's Friday and we don't have a show coming out on Saturday and Sunday doesn't mean we're not here. You can visit us on the website, the fantasy footballers.com, and you can get involved with us on Jointhefoot.com and be asking questions through the weekend on there. So check it out. Jointhefoot.com. Get involved with the show. We're very thankful for everybody that has been supporting this show. This show is...
made to be a community show, to be a show about the listeners, not about us. It's about the NFL. It's about getting you equipped to win your league. And it's been very excited. It's always great to hear when a listener has had a great start to the season or they make a trade or a move that's just incredibly in their favor because of something they heard on the show or something that they talked to somebody on Join the Foot with. And so we're very thankful for that. We're looking forward to the games this weekend. We'll be back here on Monday.
Sound good, guys? Yeah. Do you have any other parting thoughts? Let's go watch some football. Cardinals go to 3-0? I think the Cardinals are going to be 3-0. Oh, yeah, baby. David Johnson! Goodbye.
