Week 6 Matchups + In-or-Out, Oh Yeahhhhhhhhh!

Right, yeah, they've been rolling out a third string guy where there's nothing you can scheme up or do. It's kind of like having Devlin Hodges. So I think that Donald looks rusty, comes out in a tough matchup and struggles for his first game back, but it's nice to have him. On the other side, I think Lev Bell is the key for the Jets here. The explosiveness, he's averaging 17.2 touches per game. You need to play Philip Lindsay. Yeah, I mean, look, he was a top 12 running back last year and literally other, I mean, they had a change ahead coach, but nothing has changed with the team. It's the same split he was having last year with Royce Freeman. He's back, he's healthy, and he's been very good. Two of the last three weeks, he's been a top 10 running back. He's at home. Now, this isn't a great matchup for him necessarily.

But when you've got the speed that he has and the little itty-bitty body, he doesn't need much of a hole. You know what I mean? He just... Well, like a mouse. Right. Doesn't need a big hole to go through. You're always surprised by how fast mice are. And he is just like, whoa, that little guy can go through there. You're always surprised about that. Whenever they run. Yeah.

I don't know how Philip Lindsay really feels about this train of thought. We give him praise. He's an awesome mouse. He ain't that little. He's Mickey. He's averaging 4.7 per carry, and very explosive. They throw him the football. They did it a lot last week. So I certainly think he's startable. Emmanuel Sanders, the last three weeks, two fantasy points, 12.9, 1.4. Sutton has been better. Sutton's better on the year.

Emmanuel Sanders has trade rumors surrounding him, which you never know how that factors into the way that you're focusing your offensive game plan. They're still tied with one another in red zone targets, not been a lot of them. And what do you do with Emmanuel Sanders? And you brought up Terry McLaren and you brought up Muhammad Sunu, Calvin Ridley. Are you starting Sanders over any of those three? Oh, man. That's a really tough decision. The matchup is so poop.

for the passing attack for the Broncos. I lean the other options, man. Yeah, I mean, Malcolm Butler is who's kind of projected to be the guy on Emmanuel Sanders. He's got a big name, but he's been beat. He's not, you know, I think, I think Emmanuel Sanders can beat him. You know, Cortland Sutton in this game is going up against Adori Jackson. I never know how to say Adori. Yeah. Adderi. No.

If you had just gone with what you started with, you just sounded super smart. All right. I don't want to go off brand. Not that smart. I don't want to go off brand, you know. So to me, I actually like Emmanuel Sanders at home in this matchup. I didn't like him last week, but this to me seems like he's going to be great. And it's worth noting since we dive a little deeper.

My opponent is actually, he traded for Emmanuel Sanders. So he's playing him. Oh, crap. Play Emmanuel Sanders. So he's going to explode. You're talking about him in the context of Tyler Eifert, Jordan, Ankins, Vance, McDonnell, Jason Witt, and O.J. Howard. Yeah. Look, I'd still play Howard over Fant for the big game. I'd still play Cook.

But when you get into Eifford versus Fant, I'm fine going Fant with the matchup. Tyler Higby. Yeah, I'd go Fant. Okay. Yeah, I think, you know, the process, like you said, it's correct. That's the one area the Titans can be beaten. Tenth most routes run and no offense. A player, too, is all you need. And he's athletic enough. You know, like I said, I don't want to go after the tight end that I have to hope catches one for one in a touchdown. I want to go after the guy that can break a 42-yard touchdown.

And fans in that category. I agree. It could be a no fantastic week. Oh, please. Please. And that would be good for the show. Yes. All right. The Steelers Chargers, Sunday night football, Chargers seven point favorites. Devlin Hodges is likely to start this game against Philip Rivers. Chargers's heavy favorites. I think that's a good line. I think he's going to be right around the 20 touch mark, and this is a defense that is not built to be able to stop the run. So even if they're going to scheme against the run more in this game because of Devlin Hodges, I just don't think they've got the personnel to really get that done.

So that's why I think you could start Connor with confidence. It's not that he's going to explode and have a bunch of touchdowns. Exactly. It's not a ceiling play. This is a volume play. And he can catch the ball. And the best friend of a constantly backpedaling quarterback is the Austin Eccler type of situation he had last week. Echler, Gordon on the other side. If you have to choose him heads up, I'm on the Gordon side.

I'm still searching for a water bet for week six. So if either of you are on the Echler side, I'd be happy to take that. I don't think that Echler is going to see nearly the passing volume this week, and I think Gordon's going to have an okay day. That narrative makes a lot of sense. I mean, you were surprised last week when the Broncos were down, we're needing to pass a lot. You'd be shocked this week against Devlin Hodges if that same situation holds true. Keenan Allen, Mike Williams. I don't want to play juju. I don't either. I'm looking desperately. If I have juju, I'm really trying to find a way to not play him. It's a tough name to bench. Poor decision to try and strip the ball out, and he was the last guy, the last line of defense and Juju scored on that play.
