I know it was either a big player wide receiver for the New York Jets. Okay, and a 30-yard catch got hurt and knocked out. He hadn't made, like we had made a big deal about the fact that this dude wasn't getting preseason play. Yeah, he was. Then he comes back this week against New England of all teams and throws up 6 for 103 and 1. 82% of the snaps is a first round pick. And he had missed the four games with the ankle sprain. Now, Garrett Wilson had a down week.

14:00 ↗

Adon, I Mitchell, still out. This was Christian Gonzalez game, which is part of the Garrett Wilson issue and part of the Omar Cooper Jr. issue is like, and Adonai Mitchell was not there. So, and Kenyon Sadiq was. So it's like, he barely played you. This was a great situation for Omar Cooper to just happen to be. However, he is a first round pick. They spent capital, money, and he's a talented player.

14:29 ↗

to bring him on the field. And what he showed in this game was some great play. He also had a touchdown in this game that was called back due to penalty. So, like, his game was even better than this great game he finished with. I mean, when you want to bank on something, you bank on talent and capital spent. This is exactly the Jeremy Bernard of last week. Sure. For me. Like, Will, is Omar Cooper, is it going to keep?

14:59 ↗

going that i can't say that for sure but we we we we like to bank on situations and all the variables are in the right direction for omar cooper look six for one oh three with a score that's it's probably his best week probably but when it comes to the waivers i will absolutely be put some snap percentage for him 82 percent 82 percent

15:26 ↗

Yeah, I mean, the problem is the return of Mitchell. The problem is they play slower than molasses and they were coming back in this game. Like one of the reasons Jason and I are now going to be in a tie-breaking face-off this evening because I took the under on Gino Smith against Christian Gonzalez and this New England defense that had been dominant. Well, they were dominant. And then the jets were put in this position where they turned over what DeMario Douglas on that play. They had a couple extra possessions. They had to throw the ball a ton in the second half.

15:56 ↗

their preferred, now their preferred method may not work, but their preferred method is let's run the football, let's drain the clock. So I don't know if, I wish there was a middle ground between bank on it and don't bank on it. I think the question that we're asking is not whether you can bank on him having 100 yards and a touchdown every week, but can you bank on Omar Cooper being part of this offense? And I think he is. Is that a yes for you? That's a yes. That's a bank on it for me. It's a yes for me as well.

16:26 ↗

it's crazy to me how just how identical this is to Bernard of you had the players like because ad and I Mitchell while Omar Cooper was not the hotness of the offseason ad and I Mitchell was he like he was having his own little drumbeat going on from the New York media but this when you trade up from 33 to 30 you trade back into the first round to ensure that you're going to get the player that you want to get and then he has a great game

16:52 ↗

this is this is where you move forward and you figure it out every like this is now the plan in camp he was behind isaiah williams that's done like he is he's going to be at least the third wide receiver on the field now so you guys are both bank on it yeah and you're like you know the wide receiver three was for them this past week the jets fireball Jones oh okay a oh my tim and Patrick I don't know if I did not realize realized that he had oh he pulled in a catch and they he turned around

17:21 ↗

And it said Patrick. I said, oh, my God. Tim Patrick. Fireball Jones. I'm going to tell you right now I did not know he was still in the NFL playing football. And it turns out he caught two passes last week. So where was I? All right. You guys went bank on it. That was bank on it. Smartly presented by U.S. Bank. U.S. Bank smartly. 18:00 ↗

News and notes from Around the League. There was one other, the Tim Patrick, finding out he plays football. There was another moment that we had in the studio here, Jason, when there was a large, a large, a very large tight end. A gigantor. A gigantor. Mo Ali Cox into the end zone again this week for those that I remember the good old days. It's almost like the tight end position for the Colts could have been good this week.

18:31 ↗

Almost. Almost. Oh, you're bitter. Yeah. That was my prize picks. Yeah, the Warren's surprise and active was his groin, right? Yes, it was. He needs to do the butterfly stretch. I know. I'll teach you. Butterfly strep.com. Come with me. Let's stretch. If you sold a course, would you sell one? Absolutely. Absolutely. If you...

18:54 ↗

Put the effort in, and it's got to be... But I would only sell it to NFL player. Oh, you don't even let the public buy. No, this is for... Is step one sit down? Well, of course, sit down. Okay. I didn't know if there are extra steps. Is there a pre-stretch before you do the butterfly stretch? No, no, no, you want to go straight into it. You don't want any muscles getting confused that you're trying to loosen them up. There's no caterpillar stretch before the... No, straight to the butterfly. All right, NFL news to talk about we got to get serious for a minute here because... Yeah.

19:21 ↗

The Eagles have placed Jalen Hertz officially on injured reserve. He is expected to miss the remainder of the NFL season. He had a superficial blood clot that became a deep vein thrombosis. Yes. He also has a, some of the clots traveled to his lungs, which can be pulmonary embolism. It's a serious and scary situation. So he will be placed on blood thinners, and when you're on blood thinners, which we saw this with Chris Olabe last year.

19:48 ↗

But we also saw this, wasn't it? We've seen it a few times. I mean, we've seen him in the NBA a little bit, but like you cannot play football when you're on blood thinners. And so he is going to, that's a minimum three months. Yeah, so he's done for the season, done for not just the fantasy football season, but the NFL season, he will, he'll be gone. And.

20:08 ↗

And then it also came out just to dab him up a little bit. Yes, this must be reported. Because I hadn't seen it until. Yeah, when he was in London and kind of diagnosed with some of this stuff, they told him that he can't sleep. Like, it's dangerous to sleep. So he was up for 36 hours and then went and played football. Dog. Dog. And then got diagnosed with a, you know, a very serious condition. So he is done for the season. And honestly, so are the Eagles. Yeah, the Eagles already were dealing with injuries everywhere.

20:37 ↗

Now it's just like, and they tried to get Andy Dalton back. And Andy Dalton said, yeah. Andy Dalton said, no, thank you. I will sign with someone else. Yeah. Which I think we'll get reported in the next day or two. I love it. I believe he's signing with Atlanta. Oh, okay. Oh, because they release Cooper Rush. So there are three losses in a row now for the first time in a long time for the Philadelphia Eagles. The Steelers, we found out before the game placed Robin Wilson on injured reserve. And we had the breakout.

21:06 ↗

performance. Jeremy Bernard is wheels up. Well, what's funny is that playing Aaron Rogers would have been fine again. I mean, yet again, they were down 16 to zero and it looked hopeless. It took a while. I mean, they had three points in the first half. Jeremy had 12 targets. Metcalf had 15. That is insane. Like the passing game had, they basically threw on every play. That's why there were some puns submitted for Jalen Warren or Jalen Boring or whatever they sent in.

21:33 ↗

Josh Jacobs, this was humongous news. Yes. We have the biggest fantasy news of the week. Josh Jacobs is expected to be removed from the commissioner's exempt list today. It was the last hurrah for March on Lloyd and he was like, hey, I'm going to go three for negative two in my final game. He wanted to prove the final stat line. Yeah. My eyeballs said it was terrible, but I didn't look at his actual stats. Your eyeballs were correct. Yeah, the Packers. And your eyeballs translated to three for negative two. Josh Jacobs. They also came out and said that he is, I mean.

22:02 ↗

Not that anyone's surprised, especially after Lloyd, but they came out and said he's immediately the starter. So he'll be the starter coming week seven. The way that this was presented by the NFL is that he is active. You know, it's basically he spent the six games, kind of time served. The investigation will be forever ongoing. They're trying to get the tape. If the tape comes out, they reserve the right to punish him way big time.

22:31 ↗

You know, it seems like right now, I mean, obviously the police would not release the video. So they decided to, you know, take him off the list. He is active and ready to go starting in week seven until the until something changes in the future. All right. Monday night football updates. JCM. Jacori Kroski Merritt ruled out. Stefan Diggs still questionable monitoring that. Same with Mike Evans. Pivots there. Antonio Williams for the commanders. Brandon Cooks.

22:59 ↗

Most likely Jacob Cowing as well for the 49ers. Could be Christian Kirk. Last I saw he was questionable. I think I'd lean. I would not go to Kirk in his first game. If Evans plays, because he is really banged up, I mean, I think right now I lean that he's not going to play. I don't. I'm on the other side. I think if he plays, you just have to start him. I don't. Those other pivot options, Brennan Cooks.

23:24 ↗

Antonio Williams. If Evans was out there, I would just throw Evans out there and hope that he gets a seven-yard touchdown. But it's, oh, good Lord, the risk. He's a dog. He is, but he's a broken dog. Yes, he is. He's an old broken dog. The Colts fired Chris Ballard. Colts are circling the drain right now. They lost to Tennessee, which we know is a great kind of benchmark of your season. The Cardinals blew it last year and lost to Tennessee. Their only win.

23:53 ↗

We had another injury. Devante Adams left in the fourth quarter, a left leg injury happened on the final drive. Looked like non-contact. There's a little bit more to it because there was a play, the immediate play before he had kind of been rolled up on or hit on the leg, knee. Thank goodness.

24:12 ↗

And, yeah, the first thought, if you just see a play like that, you think ACL, MCL, Achilles, Achilles. But we don't have an update, and nobody asked Sean McVeigh, probably any questions at all because he was probably. He was angry. They lost to the Cardinals. The Cardinals are 2 and O at SoFi. Yeah. That's more wins than the Chargers and Rams have combined at Sofi. What is happening? We should just, hey, L.A., you want a team? Dude, you could use a third team. Take them.

24:42 ↗

Oh, thank you. I thought you were swapping us. I'll swap them. For the Rams? Yes. No, don't you do that. Don't give me the charges. That's what first popped into my head. It's like, why? Curse for a curse. Don't do that. Ladd-McConkie, who cannot possibly stay healthy. This is a third different injury, by the way. I am cursed this year. Concussion in the first quarter has the ribs and also has the, what was the other injury?

25:09 ↗

It's head, shoulders, knees and toes. Yeah, knees and toes. And this week he goes to the buy, which means he can't hurt you this week. Put him in a chamber. Yeah. Just let him recover. Honestly, after week one, I feel like they should have, they should have just given him a week or two. This is like the example of really feeling like you need a guy and rushing him back. And then he's one injury leads to another, leads to another, because he's just not ready.

25:33 ↗

Let him heal up. You need them so badly. In incredible other ways that I lost to the worst team in the league this week, Romeo Dobbs exited the game, which I faced him. But he did the thing. He did the thing. He got a 42-yard touchdown. The injury was on a big play for Jason. Needed that. And then left with an AC joint sprain. I mean, he could have done a lot more. You know who else could have done a lot more? Oh my gosh. AJ freaking Brown. What happens? If you are.

26:02 ↗

Number two. If you are not aware, you look at the box score and you see, oh, you hold like, what was a three for 30 or something like that? Something around there. He had a very down game. And then you're like, whoa, he had 10. Three for 27. He had 10 targets. He dropped the touchdown. He dropped five passes. Yes. And he did. One was a touchdown. One was a bomb. You know, sometimes you run too fast and then you're like, oh my gosh, you kind of outrun it.

26:31 ↗

No, he was the opposite. He looked like he had slowed down to make the catches or was just slow to begin with. It was a horrific showing this week. And I can tell you, like I, he's my start of the week this week. Prime time. A.J. Brown got 10 targets. You just loved what you saw. No, no, no. I just, do you think he's going to drop 10 passes a game? No, I don't. But I also was just not impressed with him in general in terms of like.

27:00 ↗

what he looked like out there. And then he almost gave the Jets a chance at the end. Like he screwed up the onside kick. Yeah. Like he was, you couldn't have had a worst game than he had. No, he was awful. Rashob Bateman exited with his shoulder injury. Jacobi Lane was 4 for 40 by the way. Dalton Kincaid evaluated for a rib injury. He came back. Yeah, but I mean, see, here's the problem, Mike. Okay. And I know you're living in a different headspace than we are. Okay. You're like, he's back.
