They were both absolute rushing leader. What was it, 1,400 plus yards for Nick Chubb? Right around the 1,300 and something? Almost 1,500. I mean, you don't, Kevin Stafansky is not going to just get rid of that. And there's a positive regression in the touchdown category for Nick Chubb. Certainly. Any positive trend in what Stafansky did and what he was able to do with Dalvin Cook in the passing game on first and second down, that gives me enough. I like, Chub is a better pass catcher than Derek Henry.

14:52 ↗

Yeah, here's the thing is that Chubb last year when Cream Hunt came back from Weeks 10 on, he was the running back 15. It wasn't even a running back one, and that's why some people are really concerned. But like Mike said, if you dive deeper and look at how that came, he had a 16-game pace of 322 opportunities. That's phenomenal. He was on a 16-game pace.

15:15 ↗

This is with Kareem Hunt of 1,382 rushing yards. Yeah. That's great. That's a great point. And a 16-game pace of four touchdowns. That doesn't happen for a 1,400-yard rusher. That's just, that's an outlier. Yeah, and he's, hopefully an improved offensive line. We'll see what happens. Definitely an improved offensive line. Definitely, hopefully. Oh, that one I feel confident in it. Okay. Because last year's was, uh,

15:43 ↗

Faroche trash. Yes, that is a new phrase. Packers running back, Aaron Jones said the team is working towards a new deal for him. Sure they are, Aaron. I think they definitely are. That being said, the regression at the touchdown number, I think it happens. I don't think it's severe. I really don't. I don't think it's a severe regression. He gets so much work inside the five. You know, I have them for, I think he can score.

16:09 ↗

12 times again this year? Yeah, I believe he can absolutely do that unless Coach LaFleur says, I'm chilling like a villain and AJ Dillon with his with his Quadzilla action going on there turns into goal line. Thank you. You got to get that in early in case he's just nothing this year. Look, it's in the realm of possibility that AJ Dillon turns into that. And I'm excited to see what happens with this contract situation because this is going to

16:40 ↗

come down, I believe to. How much does Aaron Jones believe he should get paid? I think there's going to be a discrepancy between that and what the team wants to offer. Yeah, there will be. I will be surprised if he gets a big money contract right now, which is what he's hoping for. I'm just blown away. I have not ever heard Quadzilla before, and maybe that's a common thing, but that's phenomenal.

17:04 ↗

I don't think it's a common thing, regardless of whether you've heard it before. Quadzilla? Man, that's good. That's good. It's good. There have been three. Maurice Jones, Drew, Sequin Barclay, and now, AJ Allen. Oh, we need four, obviously. Oh, there's a little meta joke for you. All right. Buccaneers coach, Bruce Ariens said Leonard Fernette will have a, quote, solid role in week one against the Saints.

17:32 ↗

solid like the defensive line he'll be running up against sure in that matchup what do you do with buccaneers week one opportunities here that's easy uh i take ronald jones and i put him on my bench but i take uh i take winter for net i put him on my bench right and then if i've got shady i'm going to bench him for week one but and if i took a flyer on uh kishon vaughn i'm going to bench him

17:56 ↗

I'm probably going to cut him, but if I've got a deep roster, I'll bench him. I'll start all the past catching options, sir. Mike Tomlin said James Connor is the team's unquestioned bell cow. It's what we said a few days ago. Once they got into getting ready for week one shape in camp, he took all of the first team reps, and they had managed his reps. Just a matter of if he can stay healthy. That's exactly right. That's exactly right. Adam Schaefter, oh, this was so sad. Von Miller.

18:26 ↗

ankle surgery, season ending. Broncos fans, I'm sorry. I feel the disappointment. I felt it through the megal bowl drafts. I felt it on Twitter. I felt it everywhere. It sucks. Von Miller is awesome to watch play football. And I had read a beat reporter of just, they said it was the last play of training camp. It is freaking awful.

18:53 ↗

And we were talking last night about Hard Knocks with Derwin James. And such a great player. And you knew on Hard Knocks that that injury was coming. And it was just like, I was even telling myself maybe it wasn't true. I was like, maybe it wasn't season ending, right? Was it season ending? Because maybe it was just three weeks. And oh, he doesn't look too bad on that. Like I know all the results. That's exactly how I feel. Yeah, I tweeted out. I felt like I was watching a horror movie. Because.

19:20 ↗

They were starting to build up into it for the narrative of the show. And my stomach just is like, oh, when's the jump scare going to happen? You would have preferred, like, the ring, a little girl climbing out of a television set than Derwin James going down in that situation. I would have, yes. So, yeah, that's too bad. And then they don't have Bradley Chub back at full strength yet off the ACL. So, you know, you look at week one and, you know, that defense is hurting. No more Chris Harris there either.

19:49 ↗

It's going to be interesting because they're known as a good defensive team, but they could be struggling. All right. We're going to get into our Thursday night preview. Thursday Night Breakdown. Oh, it's good. It's good to hear you, old friend. It's like a salve to an open wound. Feels good to know football is coming and we get to preview a game. All right. And it's going to be a good one too. Yeah. I'm excited. We've got new money, new money in this game. Houston Texans taking on the defending Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs.

22:56 ↗

in Arrowhead. Chiefs are nine-point favorites. This is a 54.5 over-under. The Chiefs, both quarterbacks in this matchup got paid this off-season. Patrick Mahomes, Deshaun Watson. In many ways, there are very few question marks on the Kansas City side of the ball. They are one of the teams with the most offensive continuity in football.

23:22 ↗

bringing back the majority of their weapons, adding Clyde Edwards a layer to the backfield. But on the other side, you have Houston with some question marks. You have the first time we see Deshaun Watson without DeAndre Hopkins. You have an injury to Brandon Cooks. He did not practice on Tuesday. He is limited. And, you know, they have the highest vacated target percentage of any team in football. So we know Deshaun Watson is elite. He just got paid like he's elite.

23:49 ↗

And we don't know exactly where he's going to throw the football. So that's going to be part of the fun of week one. And I'm going to make a bold prediction right now. I don't think Will Fuller would catch every pass. And if Brandon Cooks is banged up. Yeah. Then who's catching the ball, Jason? Randall Cobb. Or Kenny Stills. Yeah, Randall Cobb. And the thing is, is I predict that whatever wide receiver breaks out in this game, not named Will Fuller.

24:19 ↗

In prime time, the debut of football 2020, that could be one of those. Traps. Week 1 illusions on the waiver wire if Randall Cobb comes out and sets the world on fire in primetime. But let's look at the quarterback position. I mean, you drafted both of these players to start them. I would play them both, Andy. You're a brilliant man. Yeah, Watson is at QB7 right now, Mahomes QB1. In this matchup,

24:47 ↗

We know that Kansas City struggled against the pass last year to begin the year. Do you still view them through that same lens as you did last year? I do not. So it'll be interesting. Will Fuller, you're going to play him, especially if Brandon Cooks is going to miss time. He's going to be the number one wide receiver for this team. And we've seen enough history with Deshaun Watson and Will Fuller that when both aren't healthy.

25:13 ↗

magical things can happen. I know last year was quite a disappointment. Sands one game or whatever, however many Will Fuller actually produced. But I'm going to play him. I'm going to play him with a decent amount of confidence. And David Johnson here, we are, for, look, tomorrow starts of the week. David Johnson is my running back start of the week. Is he really? Yes. I love it. And here's what I like about David Johnson.

25:41 ↗

I like the over under here. It's the highest of the week, nearly 55 points. And again, I stand by the, it's really hard for Vegas to accurately put an over under on it, but they're very sharp people working there. They don't want to lose money. No. So they have said it, they've set it very high. The Houston Texans are tremendous dogs in this matchup. You're talking an implied team point total of under 23 points compared to the Chiefs.

26:10 ↗

Vegas projecting them to come back, those vacated targets. David Johnson is going to be very involved in the passing game in this particular matchup. So you drafted him, and I am starting him with full confidence. I think David Johnson can come down with five plus receptions in this matchup. When you asked me who's getting, so if Will Fuller doesn't come up all, who's getting the receptions, I went back and forth in my head between Randall Cobb.

26:35 ↗

And David Johnson and the reality, it will be both of those guys. I think David Johnson gets off to an amazing start this week because, look, if he stinks and he gets five receptions, he's going to be good for fantasy football. At the end of the day, that's all that matters is do they score points? If you're in any kind of half PPR, full PPR, you're getting yardage.

26:58 ↗

plus reception totals. And then you've always got the, you know, the chance at a touchdown. And then on the flip side, what if he doesn't stink? What if he actually is just, you know, a healthy David Johnson who's been great? So I do think that the floor is rather high this week in this matchup. On the other side, Clyde Edwards Allaire, Mike, you're the highest on him this week. How many touches do you expect for him making this debut at home? We know Daryl Williams will be involved.

27:26 ↗

They're not going to give every snap to Clyde Edwards-Ler in his rookie debut. But when we saw Kareem Hunt in his rookie debut, that was a kind of coming out party. Oh, man, that was really, really fun. That Thursday night, if you just remember the emotions of that game. Kareem Hunt does not fumble in college. Comes out his first touch of the game. He fumbled. And all fantasy players.
