Week 4 Matchups, In-or-Out, All Hail The King!

I think you could target him in a trade last week. I believe both Kenyon Drake and Frank Gore in a really weird game. I think they both had like five carries total.

He didn't look great. He didn't do anything special.

Didn't do anything in the passing game, but he has every opportunity on a team that should be very good. So Mike, how are you feeling about Sony? That's exactly why I am confident in Sony as a running back two with tremendous upside. It's opportunity. 10 carries in week two that went up to 14 carries with three targets. Miami is not usually a great team to play your wide receivers against. I mean, it might surprise you.

The hesitance on Hogan and the pass catchers, the Miami Dolphins are ranked 29th in giving up passing yards. So it's, I know they're stopping fantasy points because the touchdowns haven't come through three weeks, but they're giving up tons of yardage. Right. They're giving up a lot of yards to tight ends as well. So Grong is going to feast. Eagles, Titans, both teams two and one. This game's in Tennessee and Tennessee are.

Three and a half point underdogs at home, 41 point over under. Carson Wentz, game number two. Marcus Mariotta is going to get to start for Tennessee. I've been the most bullish about Cory Davis's future. I've had people give me some garbage on the old Twitter sphere about Cory Davis thus far. And I look.

So I think the headlines here, it's going to come down to confidence level on the Philadelphia side for your starts because of everybody's banged up. I mean, obviously Ertz is out there. Right. But Dionne Lewis, where's your confidence level with Lewis and Henry? Lewis and Henry confidence level is very low for this matchup. My confidence level in Dionne Lewis in general,

is actually pretty high. I think he's going to have a very good rest of season. He's going to be a great buy-low candidate right now. And I mean, if he has a bad week, which I expect he will, against the number two ranked Philadelphia Eagles rush defense, as far as not their rush defense, but fantasy points given up to running back. So that includes dump-offs and passes and screens and all of that. It's a tough defense. This is a low-score projection from Vegas. I don't think he's going to have a good game.

And, I mean, Dionne Lewis, owners are going to want to drop them after three bad weeks in a row. I'm benching him this week. I'm benching Derek Henry this week. Yeah, I mean, I think the only piece that I'm willing to play from the Titans is Corey Davis on the flip side. By the way, Eagles cornerback Ronald Darby given up the most receiving yards among defensive backs in the NFL. Right now, the Eagles against wide receivers, they're 22nd in the league. So they have given up yardage to the wide receiver. Right. Yes, they are not elite.

I'm weirded out by the Titans defense. Like, I don't know what to make of the Titans. They keep winning these games. And it's like, here's what they're, here's what I feel like their defense is. Witchcraft. Oh, yeah. It's just like, why does everybody suck against them? You know, you watch certain defenses and you go, oh, man, that defense is just good. They swarm. I feel like everybody just.

The offenses suck when you play the Titans. I see. Witchcraft. Yeah. I picked up the Titans a week ahead. This is one of the strategies I take if I don't have a lot of fab. So you can piggyback off that idea if you got room on your bench. I like picking up defenses a week early. If I don't have a lot of fab to spin, I pick up the Titans. Not to play this week, but to play next week against Buffalo because their defense has been pretty darn good. And Josh Allen, as much as I love him.

He's prone to make a few mistakes. Is that right, Brooks, 49 total defensive points through three weeks? No, I'm sorry. That's a point scored just by the team, only 49 points. Yeah, well, look, you've got to throw out a little bit of what's happened on the offensive side. They have had no opportunity to get into any kind of groove. Your quarterback went out. I'm giving them grace. Yeah, I want to avoid this game.

I just, I don't think there's going to be a lot of fantasy relevance. I mean, change the channel. Yeah, if you have to start Wins, okay? If you have to start Aguilar, all right. I mean, Jay Jai is going to get work. But I don't, there's, there's literally both sides of the ball, including Corey Davis, including Carson Wins. There's no one I'm excited to start in this game. Josh Rosen. Oh, the one and two Seahawks. Take on the O and three Cardinals. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. These two.

For many years, battled to top the NFC West. And now they're sitting in a home matchup, the Cardinals are, as three-point underdogs with a 38.5 point over under, and I'd take the under. You know, Arizona's defense at home against Russell Wilson, you know, if Doug Baldwin doesn't play, I'll take the under in this game. And where do you really have any confidence? I mean, David Johnson, you know, you want to see him perform.

But you haven't. And then Josh Rose and the rookie gets to start. So, I mean, I'd play Seattle's defense. I would play both defenses. Just like last week when I said play the Bears, play the Cardinals. This should be a low-scoring game because it's in Arizona. The Cardinals defense is a quality stream this week. We had our trainers this morning talking about all their great defenses that they had that have really bad matchups this week. And they're like, do I play them? And, you know, when you've got...

Seahawks defense is on the waivers all over the place. Cardinals are on the waivers just about every place. So you can pick up and stream these Ds. The player that I'm probably the most confident in, I mean, of course, I'm still 100% starting David Johnson. He's, despite how much he's, he's, you know, destroyed your hopes and dreams of what he could become. He's actually had two of his three weeks be pretty fantasy relevant, a touchdown in both. But Chris Carson.

Yeah. I think a guy you should be starting. The Cardinals have been destroyed so far this year on the ground. Adrian Peterson, Jordan Howard, these guys have feasted. And so Chris Carson, 32 carries over 100 yards last week. I think he's going to keep the train running. Let's see what happens with Josh Rosen. I think he could, I think Kurt could end up being one of the hot waiver wire pickups this week. And hopefully he does because the Cardinals are tied with the Cowboys as the only teams where their wide receiver cores have not.

And then, look, you're not going to get a lot of value for him trying to trade him anyway. So I'd make a spot on the bench for him. All right, let's move on. Browns, Raiders, the 1-1-1-1. Excuse me. I'm not used to saying the 1-1 at the beginning. Yes. 1-1-1-Browns take on the 0-3. It's start a raiders. Really.

Now, the beginning is very often won. It's really the end that is different, right? Because there's a lot of like one and two teams, one and three teams. Right. Well, not for the Browns. Yeah, that's what he meant. My point was the Browns that you don't normally start descendants with a victory. That's true. That is absolutely. And look, they're playing the winless Raiders. The Raiders are two and a half point home favorites in this game with Baker Mayfield's debut as the full-time starter now in Cleveland. A lot of opportunity for obviously Jarvis Landry and Antonio Callaway.

by getting him a lot of work in the offense. He gets better with more touches, he was saying, and Todd Haley has a history of using a single back and watching them get stronger. So, I mean, Carlos Hide. 22.3 touches per game right now for Carlos Hide, which is six in the league, so that backs up that statement. Yeah, Carlos Hyde is. He's a good running back. He is a good running back. He's in a good system. He's 28, so he's a couple years away from the 30 mark. I don't think they're going away.

from Hyde at all this. If he doesn't get injured, he's going to be the guy rest of season. Nick Chubb is not going to be encroaching in the second half of the season. You know, it's almost a shame that Hyde had the multi-touchdown game because he's a trade-for target, but some owners are probably going to be like, I don't know, I need to wait and see. It's really the opportunity for Hyde. That's all I care about. It's the opportunity. I mean, he's not been good this year.

Oh, he's been good for fantasy. Right. But he's 3.3 a carry. And that's only because last game he was 4.3 a carry. He was 2.8, the game before 2.7. We'll see what he does with Baker. I mean. But as soon as Baker came in, Carlos Hyde, he was getting things done. Yes. No, I look, I traded for him. I agree with all that. It's just one of those things that I remember the refrain was Tyra Taylor helps running backs. He's going to be great with Tyra Taylor. And then he was bad with Tyrod Taylor. So, but it's the opportunities. 23 carries, 16 carries, 22 carries.
