advantage is there. There's no advantage to holding this on until Wednesday. There's no advantage for like 80% of the things that he does. They won this past week? Yeah, you beat the Lions. He's a genius. Four to five weeks. I mean, this is going to be Damien Williams. This is going to be maybe a cursory shot on Khalil Herbert. Yep. Zach Taylor said that the team is viewing Joe Mixon's low grade ankle sprain as more of a day-to-day concern than a week to week one.

27:22 ↗

Honestly, I'm sick and tired of hearing week to week constantly. I'm not sure what week to week really means. So is Zach Taylor. So he switched it. Yeah. Day to day, I mean, it sounds better. I mean, if we can get to hour, hour, I mean, we're going to be gold. Yeah, I mean, minute to minute. Yeah. I would expect him, and maybe this is solely because of what this team did last year, but I would expect him to miss this week. Last year with the foot injury, they're not going to place him on IR. He's.

27:49 ↗

He's week to week. He's going to be back any minute, you know, and then that was week seven. And then he wasn't back week eight or nine, 10 or 11, 12, 13, 40, 50, 16. I think he'll play. I do. I mean, he's got the long, he's got the long wait after the Thursday night game. But I'm just a gut. I mean, you think he's going to be out. I think he's going to play. Who knows? I mean, you have to make plans. Yes, you do. Can't go into, you know, that would be like going into Monday night with just.

28:17 ↗

Josh Jacobs and waiting to see if he's activated. Rob Grankowski expected to miss this week's game against the Dolphins, but they think he'll be back for week six. Really? Which is absolute bananas. The latest report I saw were it was multiple fractures and a punctured lung. Now, was that the official report? That's what I saw, too. I did not hear the puncture. It was Glazer said that.

28:41 ↗

Yeah, a bunch of cracked ribs. How could he go out and play a week from now? He's historically recovered extremely fast from these types of injuries, so I think they were holding out. They just didn't want to rule them out. Like, does that motivate you as a player? Like, genuinely for like rehab. Would it motivate you if a team doesn't rule you out right away? I mean, to be like, hey, maybe he can get back. Sure, if there is something I could actually do about it. I don't know what you can do to rehab broken ribs. That's fair. That's fair.

29:10 ↗

You're like, flex harder. I'm going to rest so hard. I'm not going to move from this chair. Is it humming? It might be humming. I'm drinking nonstop milk and eating bananas. His bones are going to heal. Is that how you treat your bones? Yeah, calcium, man. What's with the bananas? That's the potassium. Yeah, you got to have potassium and calcium. And calcium? Yeah. Okay. Help me, just ship a whole bunch of bananas, see if it gets better.

29:40 ↗

Antonio Gibson, possible rib injury. We're just monitoring it. I don't think he's in trouble. I mean, there has been no rumblings from the team at all about this injury. It's something to pay attention to, though. The team is not talking about it. Let's hear tomorrow or today about some practice reports. He already had the shin, but he took a completely unguarded.

30:07 ↗

missile defender right into his ribs. So just know about it, even though it's not being talked about it. One good strategy thing for fantasy players, it's tough in the streets when it comes. He got ribbled. It's tough in the streets when it comes to running backs, right? Like there's not a lot of options on the waiver wire, and we'll talk about it today. If you are in a situation where you don't have the ability to pick up a running back,

30:32 ↗

you can just ensure certain running backs. I mean, if you want to make sure you're okay, Jared Patterson is going to be the starter if Antonio Gibson misses a game this year. That's just done. He'll get all those reps. And there are a lot of situations like that where if you can't pick up an alternate running back, you're kind of locked and loaded. You're safe. You won't get the buy week, but you'll have somebody to cover you if you're in that boat. Logan Thomas week to week. That would be a point against Taylor Heineke, by the way.

31:00 ↗

getting Curtis Samuel back, but might be missing Logan Thomas for a week or two. And then Will Fuller has already been ruled out, broken finger. They traded Jaquim Grant today. Makes Jaylon Waddle look interesting in PPR formats. Sure. Vonte Parker, if you're desperate. And Gassicki. True. What else is going on? Oh, we thought we'd see Trey Lanes. But Jimmy Garoplo is not a doctor. Hashtag not a doctor.

31:28 ↗

He thought he'd missed a few weeks when he was in his press conference. Now it's being diagnosed not as a craft strain, but as a contusion. So that is a significant difference in even the way like Matthew Betts was evaluating the injury. It had been reported a strain. He's not been ruled out for week five, and he may practice on Wednesday and play in Sunday's game. Interesting. As a Cardinals fan, I would say let's heal up. Let's get out there. Do you want Jimmy out there? Yes, I want to. No, I would much rather have Tray Lance out there.

31:58 ↗

A rookie quarterbacks have struggled this year. George Kittle day to day with a calf injury. And then Elijah Mitchell, Lemissel himself, may be back. He's going to practice without a non-contact jersey. People getting ribbled all over the place. It takes time to get back. Is the McRib back? Oh, gosh. Is they just siphoning from the players all the, look, give me your marrow. Anything else, Judge? You got anything for us?

32:28 ↗

That's all for now. All right. Make sure you grab the Sleeper app. Subscribe to the breaking news channel. They are the leader in breaking news alerts. And when these updates come through, you'll hear a little sound and you'll be sitting pretty. Head of your league. Yeah. Put me in, coach. Is the McRib back? Yeah. It's an honest question. Oh, it's a question that some people ask, yes. Yeah. Delicious. There was one more piece of news that.

33:02 ↗

Brooks didn't want to share for whatever reason. But Big Ben, hip injury. What? Seems right. I mean, that's according to Mike Tomlin. Oh. So it just came through. Did he just say that from watching film? He has to have a hip injury. My, by my guess. That's not nice. It's not nice. And neither is the play of Ben Rothlessberger. It's true. Tip for tat. Yeah, that was a sleeper alert that just came in. Oh, nice.

33:30 ↗

I mean, is that a situation where it doesn't matter if he misses for the first time in his career? I think it does matter because I would feel more confident playing Deante Johnson with Big Ben than without. And right now he's, you know, the two players you're confident in playing are Najee and Deonti Johnson. And both of those players' confidence levels go down, even if it's better for the Steelers, which it very well might be better for the Steelers to get Dwayne Haskins in. Think about the sentence that was just said.

34:00 ↗

It might not be better. It might be play calling. Sure. You know what I mean? It might just be, yes, Big Ben is kind of toast, but he also can't execute an offense with no inventiveness whatsoever that is checked down oriented. Yeah, that could be it. But I'm just, I would be surprised because this offense looks 100% identical to last year.

34:19 ↗

What's the commonality? They had a different offensive coordinator. It was Big Ben doing what he wants to do on the field or what he can do on the field. They change the offensive coordinator because they didn't like what last year was. And it looks the same. So yeah, the commonality here, I think, is Big Ben. So James Connor, to be clear, four touchdowns this year. Naji hears he has zero rushing touchdown. Is that accurate? No, I thought he got one last week. Did he get a rushing touchdown? He got a touchdown. Was it rushing or receiving? I thought he's only had a receiving touchdown. I thought he's only had a receiving touchdown. I could be wrong. That might be his first one. Yeah, he got a rushing touchdown.

34:49 ↗

You're talking about RB 9, 5, and 11 last three weeks? Yeah. Noggi domination. It's hard to watch, but it works. He gets the ball a lot. All right, waiver pickups at the wide receiver position. I don't know if the pickups are more difficult than the drop decisions this week. I mean, it is kind of draw a line in the sand, final straw time for a lot of players.

35:14 ↗

And some of them, I don't know if you have the intestinal fortitude to drop, to be honest. And when I say you, I mean me too. I mean, like the fantasy community may not be able to drop certain players because of the pain it will cause you. I see this list of five player names you're going to go through. And I feel like I'm pretty confident on where I stand on them. So let me go through them with you then. Okay. And Alan Robinson. I would not drop Alan Robinson. Robbie Anderson.

35:39 ↗

I would not drop Robbie Anderson because looking at him compared to the other options on the waivers right now, 11 targets last week. I think he is a fine play this week. Brandon Ayuk. He's gone. You can't roster him. He's got a buy week next week. He has done pretty much nothing. And you're not going to be able to trust him with either a hop-hold Garoppel or a rookie quarterback this week. So yeah, he's backster off the bridge. Sorry. Rondale Moore, Cardinals wide receivers. I'm letting Rondell Moore go as well.

36:08 ↗

I'm willing to drop Rondale Moore, but he is one of these rookie-wide receivers that as time goes through the season, his role can certainly change. And if he does start getting more snaps, he will be very valuable. It's so hard because I am staring down this decision in our League of Record with Rondale Moore. I've AJ Green on the same team. Like, I literally just grabbed them both. And I was like, let's see how it shakes out. It's so hard because I don't.

36:38 ↗

You're right. It could happen. But right now I don't see the path of where like Target shares going. Chase Edmonds is higher. Hopkins, Green, Max Williams is higher. Like that's where it gets hard with Rondale Moore. So I think if you have a better option, I'm comfortable letting them go. And then it's amazing. We said it might be a Robbie problem. You know what I mean? Like Robbie Anderson and Robert Woods.

37:03 ↗

and Alan Robinson. Oh, I didn't even think about the Robin. Robert Woods, though. What do you do with him? You keep Robert Woods, but you completely change your expectation. If Robert Woods was... Big Bay was talking about him this week. Yeah, I mean, he needs to be a little bit more involved, but... Is that how he was talking? Yeah, he was saying it's on me. I got to get Robert Woods the ball. All that being said...

37:25 ↗

It's just a matter of the disappointment from draft value. He has not been good. He has not been what you thought. But if he was on waivers, if he was Tim Patrick, you know, Tim Patrick, we're going to talk about. He's been relevant last year. This year, the last three games, four targets, five targets, six targets. Robert Woods, the last three games, nine targets, six targets, six targets. The targets are there for Woods. Sure.

37:47 ↗

The offense is better for Woods. You're super disappointed. Act like Robert Woods is someone you just got off of waivers. And then use him moving forward like that. You just got to cut him mentally and then re-sign him mentally. And now. Oh, it's like a fresh zero-dollar fab. A mental cut. A mental cut. That's right. I like it. I like to work up a mental sport. Those five names, I know you said you'd cut Ayyuk so he would be a no in this category. I'd say him with more.

38:11 ↗

Are you buying low on any of them? If you're not cutting them, are you buying low? Because they're cut candidates for a reason. So all those teams that have them, if it's not you, they want to cut him, maybe they'd rather get value for him. If you don't, you're looking strong. You're looking 3 and 1, you're 4 and 0, and you don't need this player in your starting lineup.

38:31 ↗

I would still try and trade for Alan Robinson. I would do that with Robinson and Woods. Those are the two from that list. Yeah. And I would throw in a dynasty buy of Alan Robinson because.

38:42 ↗

Is this because you want someone to trade for him from your team? No, I would not sell Alan Robinson in Dynasty right now because the value is low. The reason I'm suggesting the trade target is because the value is so low. He is still an absolute one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. I don't think that there's doubt from just about anyone out there. He's been bad for fantasy. So in Dynasty, he's on the franchise tag. He might go to a new home next year.

39:11 ↗

I still think he's got much, much, much brighter days ahead of him. For someone that drafted Robert Woods, you're probably not getting him because he scored that late touchdown and gave him fantasy points. All right, likely rostered options to just take a glance, make sure they're not sitting there. But Leviska-Cenault, wide receiver for Jacksonville, he's going to have an opportunity.

39:29 ↗

because DJ Chark is done for the year. So both Shannalt and Marvin Jones will be heavily involved in the passing game. And then Emmanuel Sanders is heavily involved again every single week. It seems like he's going to be a part of the game plan. He's probably going to go absolutely nuclear against Kansas City this week. So if he's out there, pick him up. If he's not out there and you have him, start him, main waiver wire pickups to look at. Mike was ahead of it, told people on Sunday live in the morning. He said pick up James and Crowder.
