The Ravens, Lamar. Marquis Brown will be one of the most targeted free agent wide receivers. Yes. He played 12 snaps, Mike. Yeah, that's what I was hoping we would bring up. So is that a good or bad thing, though, because you can spin it both directions, right? He only played 12 snaps, so 4 for 147 and 2, that's an anomaly. The other way is he's banged up. He could only play 12 snaps. Look what he did with it. More snaps are coming for Hollywood Brown, and this team looked amazing. I would say it's great because you know that that's

43:02 ↗

In there, very similar. This is like a, it's like Tyreek Hill. Like Markey's Brown is just going to be faster than everybody. But it's bad from the point of when does he actually going to get serious snaps? Because you can't just do this on 10 to 12 snaps every single week. And people are going to pay huge amounts of money to get him off of the waiver wire. And in the realm of possibilities for Marquis Brown next week, one for seven.

43:32 ↗

And then that's, so that's where it's bad news, is that... Would you rather have Deshawn Jackson or Marquis Brown? D. Jacks. Okay. I assume Brown over John Ross? Ooh. I think that that's a definite for me. Only because John Ross is not going to represent the one in that offense. And there's a time when AJ Green's returning. Markies Brown could evolve into the one. Yeah, he could. You've talked to me into it. T. Y. Hilton, eight for 87 and two on nine targets. Against the...

44:03 ↗

Chargers defense. T.Y. Hilton looking really T.Y. Hilton like in this game. And then you had some of these other anomalous games. We won't spend too much time on them. We'll talk more on the Waver show tomorrow. But Philip Dorset, a couple touchdowns. Terry McLaurin had a big touchdown. Also, and he was one of those undrafted gyms. I know you love him, Mike, as well. Yeah, I do. As kind of like pay attention to him. He got deep, wide open again later in the game. Speed kills, man.

44:31 ↗

And he was open. Case Keenham missed him on the second one. But looked very interesting in this game. And they might be coming back a lot. So there's some kind of like sneaky Terry McLaurin upside. The rookies this week, Marquis Brown. A.J. Brown. Terry McLaurin. There's another rookie, too, who are people who are going to lose their minds for. Or not to his position yet, though. Yeah. Yeah, I know. I know. John Brown?

44:58 ↗

John Brown is 7 for 1, 23 and 1? On 10 targets, John Brown is... He's a big pickup. He is very, very interesting off of the waiver wire. We miss Keenan Allen, but this is what I had talked about. When Melvin Gordon is out, Keenan Allen is going to be freaking outrageous. And if Mike Williams is hurt, Keenan Allen's going to be... Even more outrageous. Even more targeted. Larry Fitzgild will not die. Eight for one, 13 and 1. And this is not just... 13 targets for Larry. If you want to...

45:27 ↗

We didn't even talk about Kyler Murray or that game. Kyle Murray ended up with almost 30 fantasy points. They practically all came in the fourth quarter. The offense looked atrocious, like a train wreck. Like we were weeping, I think, for a large period of time of that game. And then everything switched when he started throwing the ball to Larry Fitzgerald. And Larry made play after play, after play, diving catches, getting loose deep. Larry, are you interested in him on the basis of this, you know, the offense coming alive?

45:57 ↗

Yeah, and I think that he's sneaky. Like these other wide receivers, there's a lot of wide receivers who are going to be very popular on the waiver wire. I think you might be able to get fits a little bit cheaper. And what you're hoping for is when the offense finally clicked and there was a press conference with Cliff Kingsbury where he came out and he openly admitted that he screwed up almost that entire game. He got too cute in the beginning, changed that philosophy. And to his credit,

46:27 ↗

It turned things around for the Cardinals. Yeah, so I think that Larry could be a sneaky pickup. Unfortunately, he's on the road against the Baltimore Ravens next week. Yeah. Evan Engram, T.J. Hawkinson, Mark Andrews, Delaney Walker, with five for 55. Oh! So, real home runs here for our value tight ends. Mark Andrews, 8 for 108 and 1. Love it. Arizona next week. Arizona just gave up 6 for 131 and 1 to T.J. Hawkinson and his debut.

46:57 ↗

T.J. Hawkinson is a very good football player. He will be on the field for 100% of snaps. That is all I'm going to say. We'll talk more tomorrow. Oh, really? Do you believe, Mike, I get the impression from you that you believe this is less indicative of the season. DJ Hawkinson, the rookie tight in. He is extremely difficult because he has a great player. He's got that top 10 draft pedigree. He's great.

47:28 ↗

But the Cardinals defense is so bad. The two big plays, it's hard. I'm not trying to take away from my Hawkinson did, but the two big plays were so broken by the defense of the Cardinals. His touchdown, Hawkinson had time to sit down. He built a campfire. Yep.

47:50 ↗

He built one of those, like the real hard to put together tents. This wasn't just a pop-up. No, no, no. A whole bunch of those stick pieces and you had to stretch them. He went to the crowd. He got like five Eagle Scouts to come help him set up camp in the end zone. I don't think it's a credit to Eagle Scouts if it takes five of them to build a tent. Well, he just wanted to give him the experience of being on the NFL field during an actual play because most people in the crowd don't get to do that. The Cardinals defense gave, there were four players that couldn't stop the play. Hawkinson.

48:19 ↗

Though he also had a huge play down the sideline. He's got speed awareness, past catching capabilities. Yeah. And Matthew Stafford's going to fall in love with him. That's what I believe. Okay. And so when you look at Hawkinson and potential upside, is 6131 and 1 going to happen every week? No, not even close. Because you should also throw in then in the same breath. Danny Amandola went 7 for 104 with a touchdown. His teammate. And if you're like...

48:47 ↗

Looking at what Danny Amandola did and said, well, that's impossible to do. Then you at least have to be aware of what happened with Hawkinson as well. All right. We talked about the studs. It's time to talk about the duds. Stinkers of the week. Presented by odor eaters. That's right. Footclair. This is not a drill. The stinkers are brought to you by odor eaters.

49:18 ↗

The stink was so bad for some of these players this week that I think only odor eaters and a high dose would be enough to protect you from what happened. But I will say this. If you need to breathe a little bit, if you need to calm down a little bit, if you're tilting, I've gotten Twitter messages about do I sell, sell, sell. Somebody sent me a roster that was great. Had Sony and Michelle in it.

49:47 ↗

Do I sell everything? Do I, is it all over for me? Go look at our consistency charts, okay? It's the best play. Devante Adams, are you selling Devante Adams, Mike? No. Okay. Did he have a good week? No. Okay. It's never, it's never 16 for 16 other than maybe one or two guys every year. You know, Sequin didn't score. He was fine because he's Seekwon. The rest of these players, you're playing probability.

50:15 ↗

This whole show is predicated on we try to analyze the matchups, bring you as many good players as we can that we like, that we're playing. You know, and we go down with the same ship. I mean, I bench to Sean Jackson because we sat on the show, I'm worried about the finger. Is he going to be active? An hour before game time, it was like, okay, he will be active. And I played the lizard king. You played the lizard king, and I don't have him to play. I won.

50:40 ↗

Only because of him because the rest of my team. Yeah, we're going to talk about the rest of your team in a minute. Yeah, we are. Stinkers. Let's start with my quarterback. Stinkers of the week at the quarterback position. Cam Newton. Oh, yeah, I had him. James Winston. Jared Garth. Who looked so bad. He looked. He looked. He looked. He looked for Biskey out there. He really did. That's, I was going to say the same thing. Baker Mayfield. Three picks. Uh-oh.

51:05 ↗

This offensive line looks like it's in trouble. Yeah. And then Big Ben couldn't figure out who to throw the ball to outside of Juju. This offense looks troubling. So Cam, Winston, Gough, Mayfield, Big Ben, who are you most worried about? I'm cutting James. I'm moving on until I see some sort of actual hot streak from Winston where it looks like Bruce Ariens and company has things under control. Because for him to go...

51:32 ↗

up against San Francisco and the performance that he put up. To his credit, he did throw two touchdowns to Cameron Brate, neither of which counted. But James was bad. He was really bad. San Francisco secondary looks a lot better. I will give them that. They look like a much better team than the team that give up 25 points a game and 105 pass rating. And that's the thing that, you know, turnover year to year. They look like a better defense. I tweeted that.

51:59 ↗

James Winston sucks at football and Bruce Ariens can't do anything about it. And it's not an unfair statement, unfortunately. But you can suck at football and be great for fantasy. Sure. So don't, I wouldn't be. I mean, look, you drafted James Winston so late that you don't need to keep him. There's no need. But streaming Winston, once we figure out what defenses are vulnerable this year, I'm fine with it. Okay. Because Bruce Arons is going to drive the ball down the field. So.

52:27 ↗

as much as hard as it was to watch fade away interception James Winston again, he's sucked his whole career. Let's be clear. He's never been good at winning. He's not your franchise savior. He's not the player that's going to take you to the fantasy promise land. He's never been that, though. This didn't just change in week one. Oh, my gosh. He's still had huge fantasy weeks before, and he's got Chris Godwin and Mike Evans, and they'll probably be better in the future. Yeah, and to be fair for James, I mean,

52:56 ↗

O.J. Howard was, like, he had some really big blunders. Bad drops. A really bad fumble that cost the Buccaneers a lot. And Mike Evans, who, look, there was no way I was benching Mike Evans, but he showed up on the practice report on Friday with an illness, and it looked like Mike Evans was not at 100%. Maybe he had watched James Winston throw the ball on film. Maybe that's what had him feeling that way.

53:26 ↗

It was a bad game. 25 for 38, 239. I'm going to give him a pass. He's coming off the ankle injury. Right. Newton has a way of looking bad at times. He's coming off of his shoulder injury. Sorry, yeah. Well, the shoulder injury you're talking about on the off season? Yes. Yeah. But in the preseason, we didn't even know if he's going to be active. So he's coming off of a couple things. He still has Christian McCaffrey, which solves a lot of problems for him. Jared Goff.

53:53 ↗

on the road has not been as good. We brought this up last week. He's just not that... He's not a trustworthy fantasy quarterback on the road. Now he has to come home but play New Orleans defense next week. It's going to be interesting to see what he's got. If he can bounce back. I would expect better things from him next week. I would too. Even though it was New Orleans D. Baker Mayfield, Rutrow. Yeah. You saw the kind of get down, have to force the ball, try to be the savior.

54:23 ↗

Nick Chubb couldn't get going. The game script wasn't nice. Probably better days ahead for Baker Mayfield, but this was really embarrassing. It certainly was, but on to next week. Big Ben. I've already been out on the Steelers. I'm not in on them after that performance. He needs better weapons. It will be interesting to see what the Steelers do to change things up because they cannot, you can't give Moncrief another 10 targets. Like, Dante Moncrief. He doesn't deserve it. Was.

54:52 ↗

was partially responsible for this loss. He was bad. He was real bad. Now, there'll be at home against Seattle, and Seattle just made Andy Dalton and John Ross look pretty good. Sure. So bounce back opportunity, but those were the stinkers at quarterback. You get Stinkers of the Week time at running back, and there were several. Are you hitting the panic alarm on any of these guys, Mike? Devonta Freeman, eight for 19. What is most troubling about Devonta Freeman?

55:20 ↗

is the offensive line play. The Vikings, now the Vikings are great up front, but the Vikings controlled the entire game because their defensive line was manhandling the Falcon's offensive line. Freeman did have a fumble. It seemed like he was getting punished for that. Game scripts. It seemed like this isn't we can actually come back. So it...

55:45 ↗

Maybe. Maybe it is just right back to the old 50-50 timeshare with Devon to Freeman. I'm still optimistic that this was just a game that got out of control. I think I am too. James Connor against New England. 10 for 21, 4-44 through the air. I get to water you and Jason this week. Unfortunately, you do. So Seattle next week. You were on the one-yard line, Pittsburgh.

56:10 ↗

Let's throw a fade to Moncrief. Great idea. Even Kurt Warner was burning the Steelers for that decision. But even if he scores a touchdown there, yeah, he salvages the day. But Seattle, San Francisco, better days ahead for James Connor? Yes. Carry on Johnson. I'm not hitting any buttons. Well, no, I can hit a button for it. 16 for 49.
