The Wheel of Shame returns as a beloved punishment ritual, with Kyle and Papa Josh set for a fantasy face-off.
If Wolford's the starter, which is what we're thinking is going to happen, at least as of this recording, Alan Robinson, Alan Robinson, Van Jefferson, Tyler Higby, Hamakers. I think there is a world where your roster would have you starting Tyler Higby. I don't, I mean, I had him going in as a smash start of the week against Arizona. Like you said, those little rollouts from tight ends, they haven't been able to stop it from any team all year. And that seems like a pretty gimmey play if you've got John Wolford as your starting quarterback. He threw for like 230 yards in his rookie season against us, but obviously had a much better offense, offensive line at that time. So I'm not looking to start Tyler Higby, but I, you know, I would start him over Tunyon that we just talked about. Oh, silly goose. You would not? Yeah. After the snaps went way down. Let's water bet that one. Yeah, I mean. Waterbed. I genuinely think the best advice is to.
Higbee's had three straight games of killing your fantasy roster. And so because of that, I'd like to take what I call a Higbee break. Hig break. It was right there. Yeah, I thought about it. And I want them on the bench. And I want to try something new. Like if I've eaten bad food three weeks in a row from a restaurant, I'm getting a new dish. I'm not having the same dish. I'm certainly not having that dish prepared, not by Matthew Stafford, but prepared by... his sous chef because he's out for the game. So I'm willing to try something different on, you know, this week. I completely understand what you're saying and you're right to say that. But one of the things that you're not considering is that the sous chef that is preparing this food has put you at the window seat with the most beautiful sunset view. The location here of the Arizona Cardinals defense, you might not have the best steak, but you might enjoy that steak while you.
look at the surroundings. It's risky to me. Very risky. I agree it's risky. I think Tanya is riskier. I mean, he's Robert Tanyan, aside from one game, it's like 30 yards. Aside of what? Like Robert Tanya had one big game where he had 90 yards, but every other game, he's 30 yards or fewer. He's been a lot better than Higby the last three weeks. Not a lot. Not a lot better. I mean, better. Yeah, better. multiples of three. Better. Right? Let's see. When you goose, it's infinity better. I mean, we're looking at about 14 total points from Tunyon over his last three games. And Higby is at, I lost his page. Three? Yeah, three or four. Yeah. I feel like you guys have a very large amount of confidence in the player that hasn't been playing well. No, no, no, no. We have a lot of confidence in tight ends against Arizona. Yeah.
The Arizona Cardinals are 31st against tight-ins, so that would be why. The Cardinals' offense, Kyler, should be back out there. You could see some limitations on his rushing work due to the hamstring injury. James Connor, 12 opportunities last week, five targets. He will be the checkdown for Kyler if he's not running as well. Hopkins play him. Ron Dale Moore, PPR leagues, you have to play him. Yep, I agree. Zach Ertz is a must start. I have been trying in my dynasty roster. I told Mike this yesterday. It's like I've got Greg Dulcich waiting in the wings. I've got younger players. I have to keep playing Zach Ertz. Like he's the number four tied in in fantasy. Yeah, he just keeps getting it done, getting the simple targets falling down, doing what Zacherts does. But he's done it for a long time and you know he's consistent. He's a must start. Kyle, if you had to start Higby or Tunyon, who are you starting? I'd rather not.
No, you've got to answer. I do, Higby. Okay. All right. I mean, do get watered, too. Los Angeles at 5 and 3, take on the 4 and 4th, San Francisco 49ers. 49ers are seven point home favorites. The overrunners 45 and a half that gives the charges just 19.3 points. Seven points? It makes sense to me. The Chargers snuck a win last week, and they looked bad on offense. Yeah, I had a really hard time picking this one. This was one of the games where when I sat there and I looked at this line, my initial thought was immediately San Francisco, but it's hard to give a touchdown to Justin Herbert. He can make things happen, but he just doesn't have the weapons, and you saw that last week. Without Keenan, without Mike Williams, I think that, and this is a much better defense. I would bench him. You would bench Herbert.
Yeah. I don't blame you. I get that. I never said it, and I never want to say it again. But this is the week that I would bench Justin Herbert. Obviously, who you're benching him for would matter. But I think we've talked about like Gino. Sure. Like I'm willing to take a shot on Gno. Well, let's talk about this game. Jimmy Garabolo. The other side. Yeah. Versus Herbert. Yeah. I'd play Jimmy G. And I don't like saying it. I don't think I could do that. I don't think. I just think that this is a great, great defense. You talk about matches. Herbert last week had the best matchup you could have had with Atlanta. Still couldn't get you fancy points that you needed. On the road this week against the number four against tight-ins, four against running backs, 10th against quarterbacks. Dude, I'm not doing it. I'm going to play Jimmy G. And if...
He just dumps the ball to McCaffrey 10 times. I will get more fantasy points out of that. Well, that is absolutely true. I think he'll be handing the ball a lot to McCaffrey in this one because the Chargers have not been able to stop the normal regular run game. And I mean, McCaffrey should have like the number one fantasy week of the year on paper. It's hard to beat his last game. That is very true. Jimmy Garoppolo's pace. over the last four weeks. Pretty good sample, right? 70% completion, 4,600 yards, 34 touchdowns. Yeah. Which I wasn't sure. I was, like, going to pull him up and look at him compared to Herbert. I feel like he's been the king of like 17, 18 points. But he's had two touchdowns in each of those weeks, and they are, they're getting Debo Samuel back. I think Jimmy's a sneaky start this week. I agree. CMC play him. Debo, yep, Iyuk, probably.
George Kittle. Yeah. Yep. Yep. I mean, there's no benches. That's five starts. Yeah, well, the Chargers defense can make that happen. And then on the other side, Herbert, we talked about him, but Echler. Echler will go in. Josh Palmer, you would play. Like, the place that the 49ers get beat is at the wide receiver position, so I'm still okay playing Palmer. And just on notes, I think we talked about it, but just, making sure people realize Isaiah Spiller has taken the number two job. So if you're looking, if you're at that point of your roster where you're starting to put insurance running backs on or you're just putting high upside insurance running backs on from other teams. Or you're the Echler manager. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. At this point, looks like Isaiah Spiller would be that guy. DeAndre Carter, Gerald, Everett, I don't really want to mess around in this matchup. Yeah, I don't either. I, I,
I would play Gerald Everett over Higby. And then that's like the line. He's a low end tight end start for me. I don't love the matchup, but he is needed and he still has Herbert. Obviously, that didn't come through last week. It's still target. He had eight targets. Five catches for 36 yards. I think he was five for 30 something the week before. Five for 63. I mean, any one of these tight ends can be the tight end 10. All you need is just an accidental touchdown. Washington is 4 and 5 on Monday night football taking on the 8-0 Philadelphia Eagles, the Draft King Sportsbook line here. Philadelphia minus 10 and a half. The over under is 44. Boy. Oh, you want another one? You can have two this week. What? I don't blame. Why? I, why? Andy's almost upset of the wig. Okay, why? I get it a little bit.
Okay. So here's why. Their defense has been playing very, very well. Chase Young is expected as of this recording to come back. It is a divisional game that a lot of times those things surprise you. It's on the road for them. A 10.5 point game. They've also been. So almost upsetting is just covering the 10 and a half. Making this a close game on Monday night football. For the reason that Jason said, I'm going to put on top of those, they were. They were a whisper away from beating the six-and-one Minnesota Vikings. They had won three games in a row before that, like Jason said, divisional game. And there's, look, everybody thinks the undefeated team's never going to lose. It happens all the time the undefeated team is out there. They always lose all but one, right? And so I think it happens, right? It happens at some point you don't get it done when you think you should. And look, on paper.
Ten and a half point favorites. I just think it might be a more interesting game than we think. Doesn't mean it affects whether you're starting your core ego players. I think Miles Sanders is going to have a good time. I think he's going to have a party. Jalen Hertz and those wide receivers that I'll be interested to see what happens on Monday night football. Yeah, Dallas Goddard. He's the one player that I think it matches up. poorly but there's nothing he's in a yeah he's in no matter in no matter what so you start him um earlier this week you i i rode with a high line on devonta smith i think that you can start him in this matchup he lines up pretty well um but i do think that this could be a closer game which sometimes that's you know a dragged out defensive battle but
Maybe it's just back and forth. Just to illustrate what Jason was saying about their defense playing better over the last six weeks, they've given up 14.9 fantasy points to the quarterback position. So they have. On average. Yeah, on average. They have tightened it up. And they're number one against tight ends in that span, adding to what he said about Goddard. And what was that time span? Last six weeks. Okay. Terry McLaren, eight targets in three straight weeks with Taylor Heineke. So if you've been playing him, you keep playing him, you hope things work out better against the Eagles. You know, last week wasn't a good match for Damian Pierce. Damian Pierce found away against the Eagles. You know that the Washington commanders are going to try to find some balance in this offense. I think Gibson, based on the line in this game, should have opportunities in the passing game. Yeah, us being able to.
just say the words that this could be a closer game than we think doesn't change the fact that the line is 10 and a half. It should be a blowout for the unbelievably great Eagles. And if that happens, Antonio Gibson will inherit the past catching role of J.D. McKissick and should be an okay flex here. He's on 72 target pace on the year, regardless of the McKissick injury. Let's say the, I'm trying to find something. I'm not getting any McKissick updates. as of now, but the neck injury. He's not going to be out there. Yeah, it's the Monday night game, so injury news has always pushed a little bit forward. But Antonio Gibson this past week, 58% of the snaps. He hasn't seen a snap count like that since week one. So that was his second highest snaps turned into 14 opportunities. It wasn't the target floor that you would hope for, but I think that that will return. And he's a sneaky low-end play.
And I do love the Eagles defense here, just because Taylor Heineke, I mean, he just, he literally closes his eyes when he throws the ball. I was just going to ask you a Gibson question about Jeff Wilson. Would you start Jeff Wilson or Antonio Gibson? So Jeff Wilson against Cleveland, I, man, I think I would go. I'm on the Gibson side of that one. I think I'll go Gibson. I'm on the Wilson side. It is very close. I don't blame anyone going either way there. You're searching for a touchdown. I think that the floor might be higher with Gibson because of the receiving, but Jeff Wilson has a higher odds for me of getting a touchdown than Gibson. If you would like to see the breakdown, the starts it tool on the website, the fancy footballers.com, all of the rankings are on the website each and every week. At the beginning of the week, we put the waiver rankings up there as well.
to try to make life easy on you. And it's time, unfortunately. Fantasy Face Off, presented by Draft Kings. Well, well, well, here we are again, oh, Wheel of Shame. I still don't really know how I lost last week, but all the numbers said I lost big. Yeah, because our teams were awesome. It was due to our teams being incredible. It didn't help that I had spent a lot. on Aaron Jones, who went out injured it last week. And so I get to spin the wheel. Let's do it. Wheel of shame. All right, spin that wheel. Let's do it. Let's do it. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Blah. Blanana. Minecraft. Rainy Day, Joe Dirt. Oh, what is this?
Nun chucks. How can nun chucks be a costume? I don't understand. What would, well, I see, you're going to need to take your hat off. I see some, easy enough. I see some num chucks. I mean, did you call them numb chucks? Yeah. I see some nun chucks. What is this? Well, that's a nun outfit. That might be a habit. Because you are. How does one, yeah, what, how do you put that on? Yeah, just like that. Doesn't the white thing have to? Yeah, the white thing goes up. Yeah, there you go. Okay, so the hood goes like this. Yeah, there you go. And where does this go? That goes around your neck.
This is great. So yeah, this is like a bib. Just like a bib. And the black shirt works so good. Oh, the nunchucks. You got to pull the bib down. Yeah, there you go. Oh, you got to swing those nunchucks, baby. Let's go. All right. Are we ready for these fantasy rosters? Jason, this is the stupidest one we've ever done. Thank you. I look pretty ridiculous though. I mean, this worked out. Why don't I kick it off? Rattle that chain. Why don't I blow your minds? I chose a different quarterback than the one we all thought we were going to choose in the end of the week. No fields for you. Can I guess? Yeah. Tua. Yes. All right. I took Tua, Tungaviloa, Miami takes on Cleveland. He's actually ranked number one in terms of our Draft Kings rankings. It's a good pick. He's 6,700. And I, you know, you guys let it leak that you were going fields in the office today. And I just didn't want.
us all having the exact same quarterback, so I'm taking a risk. Yeah, it is a risk, but I will say this. I love the fact that we have different quarterbacks, and I did have a little bit of fear with Fields that because they're playing... That he's going to be too good? That because they are playing the Detroit Lions... Yeah, that running game might get into the end zone. The running game might get into the end zone from not Fields, because obviously Fields running game can get in there, but that David Montgomery and or Khalil Herbert could get in there. So...
Mike, are you Fields as well? Yeah, Justin Fields. 6,500. You guys still went with it. Yes. So Tua was just 200 more. Justin Fields forever. I could not have afforded Tua. Okay. Nor could I. So at running back, I've got two monsters at the running back position. Sequin Barclay, 8600 against Houston. And then Travis E.TN against Kansas City for 7100. I'll be honest with you. I was really hoping. on this segment that Sequin Barclay's name would not come up. He was stupid. He was in my roster forever. Also, neither of you have. But I had to make a pivot. No, I have Travis E.T.N. at 7100. And I have across the field from Sequin in a much worse matchup, Damien Pierce, who is 6300. By the way, Justin Fields' rushing prop is at 58.5 yards. So that that's what they're.
they're setting as their baseline. It is funny because Barkley, I think both times I've put him in my line. So you guys did not have him with me. Yeah. He's at a 93.5 rushing yard number. Yeah. Yeah. He's such a good play this week. I have Travis E.T.N as well, 700. But my other big name, I went with Alvin Camara, 7400 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a name. I had him in and out and out. Jason's just living with regret today. Defend yourself. You had control. This is like the coach thing. Where it's like, we wish we gave him more carries. You could give him the carries. I'm going to look at the tape. We don't know how he didn't get in there. Yeah, well, the reason I wasn't able to go that direction is because... Hold on. Wait, your turn. Oh, I didn't realize we had to stay in... We stay in order. Okay, well, that's very... The nun is very orderly. That's very orderly. I'm going to hit my wrist with a ruler. I will. It won't be a ruler, though. It'll be a nuttuck.
They would be more intimidating with Nunchaus. Oh, absolutely. Wide receivers, I, of course, he's a staple in my lineups of late. Jalen Waddle is in my lineup in 7600, stack with Tua. George Pickens. I'm going with Pickens at 5,000 against New Orleans. I think this is his week to shine. And then at 4,200, I'm going with the Mac Attack. Mack Hollins, 4200. Darren Waller, Hunter Infro on IR. The nun has spoken. I get it. I like it. We have a lot of similarity. Just like last week, your great pick of Jalen Waddle. I have Tyreek Hill. The number. So expensive. He was so expensive. This is why he 9100. Have Alvin Kamara. Yeah. He was in fact, 9100. That is. Yeah.
Probably the most expensive player I've ever put in my lineup. But in full PPR, he is just so unstoppable. We talked about his touchdown upside. Yes, he is. But you got to fill a bunch of other positions. Is true. I have George Pickens. Do you? As one of those other positions at 5,000. And I went back and forth between the Mac attack, but I went with Zade Jones, 4,400, just 200 more. And I think the matchup is much, much better against the Chiefs. Jalen Waddle. George Pickens. So my differentiator is Mr. Chris Olavet at 6,800 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. I like their offense. I think that he's going to be just fine. All right. I do have Zay Jones on my roster as well. He is my flex at 4,400. The spot starter. I was actually having trouble with Matt Collins and Wondale. That was actually the one I was making a tough decision with. Went with Matt Collins after the injury news.
For my tight end, I went with Robert Tunyon, of course. After our debate today, Robert Tunyon in there at 3,700. Had looked at Cole come out a little bit. Went with 3,000. That's right. Wow. I saved $300. I was going to finish. Okay. You keep trying to talk before I can finish. Sorry, Mrs. Holloway. I went with the Cardinals defense at 2,700 against the Rams. Yep, that's a good defense. at tight end, went with Greg Dulcich, 3,400. He's been on fire as my start of the week, so I figured I'd stick with him. At Flex, I've got Jamal Williams, only 5,900 in a really good matchup against Chicago after they've gotten rid of their defense. That's impressive to that. You got to squeeze him in there. And for my defense, I went with the Minnesota Vikings.
all the way down at 2,200. They were priced down because they are playing the bills, and this hopes that George Island is not playing. I mean, come on. What defense do I have, Jason? The Vikings. Of course, I have the Minnesota Vikings. Me and Greg D. also chilling at 3,400. And my flex plate to get all of those high-priced guys in there. Here it is, fellas. Samare. Tori. Oh, wow. Green Bay Packers. Yeah, it's not bad. Here's the situation for the Packers. We'll get some targets. Watson probably out. Al-Lisard is, of course. There are Sammy Watkins, bumps and bruises. Romeo Dubs is out. So he's going to be on the field for 3,900. I think you could do worse. Same reasons I like Tunyon this week. You need some targets. By the way, I did you guys a huge favor today.
Oh, that's nice. Wearing the black shirt. Yeah, no, the black is full nun. I look real dumb. There was a robe that came with it, but I was like, well, we can't do the whole robe. Don't need the robe. This was all adjacent creation. Yeah. The idea of combining the nun trucks with the nun. It's so stupid. It's pretty dumb. Yeah. Nunchucks. Get it? Yeah, no, we get it. Play on words.
