But the reality is to me, when I'm looking at these running backs, I don't like Ronald Jones. We talked about Damien Harris earlier. James Robbins said there's just so many question marks to all these guys. There is one player out there that I think, for better or worse, he's got the workload. And he's going to get a lot of run. And it's it for me when I look at running back. So I'm taking Mike Davis because,

the wide receiver that I want, if he goes off the board, which he did not, I could have pivoted. I like Robbie Anderson. I think Robbie Anderson is a very good wide receiver. I believe in the coaching staff that is in Carolina. While I don't love Sam Darnold, Robbie was good last year, and he didn't score touchdown. So I'm really loving the way my team is shaping out, and I wish this was a real league. All right. Damien Harris, right after you. Mike, back on the clock.

Three straight wide receivers, Mike. Gallaudet, Lockett, Claypool. Those are three very wildcard wide receivers. Absolutely. But you have a very strong foundation with Henry Gibson Waller. What are you thinking about right now? What's going through that head of yours? That big, gigantic head of yours. Well, a lot of thoughts due to the size. Right. I mean, like to get from one side to the other, that's a continental trip, my friend, as they say, across the neurons.

A neural link implant would cost a lot more for you. Is that what you're saying? Yeah, I have to get a baker's dozen put in there just to be effective. This is what I'm saying. I'm sorry, sir, we cannot help you. You cannot be helped. You cannot link these two sides. Where drafting Darren Waller there, I didn't have a wide receiver one, but Darren Waller is effectively my wide receiver one. And so as long as you can get into that headspace, it helps you out.

So you can actually look at what your team really is. It's not just a tight end there. It's a player who will lead his team in targets, or who at least he should. So wide receivers left. You know, I don't mind juju right here, but I'm not going to double up. You know, I got one wild card on the Steelers. I'm not going to put all of my money on the return of Big Ben in his arm. Tyler Boyd, he's the one to me that takes the biggest hit from the addition of Jamar Chase.

Brandon Cooks. It would make Jason very sad if I were to take Brandon Cooks and you to get back to you. I have cooled on Brandon Cooks quite a bit. Have you? I have because when I initially did my stats, I realized that he is the only guy there. He's always been good. And I think he will get a lot of targets and he'll be fine. But the...

The reality is they're, the Houston, Texas are not going to score a lot of points. They're not coming from Josh Watson. Even if they're down and you go, oh, they're going to have to throw the ball. It's like, well, how many points do you think they score at the end of the game? Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. 14? All right. So I'm looking at running, we're in a range where you're just calling your shots on running backs. And there's two that I have my eye on. And one was featured into the, uh, the hype train section of the news. But in the seventh round, if.

our man from Denver was not lying, and I got the starting running back for the Denver Broncos in the seventh. That would be incredible value. So I will take the rookie Javante Williams. So on this draft, Gordon goes 512, Javante goes 704. I'll keep it short and sweet here. I am going to attempt to achieve something no one's done before, which is to have every single passing yard and passing touchdown for a single team on my roster. I'm going to draft Kyle Pitts in the seventh round.

I'm taking Kyle Pitts. I don't feel bad about that at all. No, it's a huge upside at the position, and I got to wait a long time for it. And I am hoping with seven cubies off the board after I pick that I will come right back to Tom Brady. And Tom Brady is my fourth quarterback, and I got him. So late eighth round Tom Brady, I'm all about it. 40 touchdowns last year. I haven't projected for over 40 again this season.

And Pitts, Brady, seventh and eighth round feel very good about it. I really like what you just did for your team. I was, you know, your team was obviously super questionable to me. Right. Obviously. But the Pitts and Brady, I think that's really, really good value. Again, I'm not as convinced that Pitts will hit his rookie season, but you're not, you know, when you're talking about a seventh rounder, you're not giving up a ton for the chance that he could. And if he does, that's a real difference maker there.

Yeah, so those are my number four tight end on my projections and my number four quarterback in the seventh and eighth round. Back to you, Mike. Nicely done. The other running back I had my eye in, or eye on. Oh, oh. Hey. I love my. Spalunkin. There is no light. There is no light. There is no light. Holding darkness. He made it back.

Through the gauntlet right there. I'm going to take the quads. I'm going to take A.J. Dillon, who I believe has standalone value in Green Bay. It was the name I just wrote down for the next round pick for me. Oh, well, he is gone. But standalone value apparently has nicknamed both of his legs, which we have not addressed it on the show, but you can't take both of those nicknames. We've already been calling.

uh, Sequin Barclay, the quad father on this show for, for many years. So look, man, you can't, it's, it's done trademark. If you don't end up, Mike, with either Najee Harris or AJ Dylan on a team of yours, do you even want to play that league? I mean, I was done. I rage quit. You rage quit. I leave the draft out of here. Yep. Okay. So Jason, right on the clock here. Tyler Boyd went after AJ Dylan. Um, I don't think I read off the draft picks after Kyle Pitts, but like James Robinson. It was a highlight there, 7.06.

Take a shot on him, sure. Four Nett, 7-Eleven. Jalen Hertz went at 712 ahead of Brady. It's also worth noting Dallas Goddert, Noah Fant, went off the board. I probably would have been looking at tight end. With those guys gone, and this is something when you're doing your draft, if the tier of tight end that you believe in is gone, don't just be there. Like, I'm at the eighth, and I'm like, oh, no. Like all the tight ends that I really like are gone. So don't just draft a crappy one. If you're going to draft a crappy one, draft it late.

You know, don't just be like, oh, everybody's got them. You know, people are going to stop drafting them eventually. I'm looking at a two pack of wide receivers here. There's one that I really want that I'm confident is going to come back to me because there's only two picks away. So if I were to grab that player, I was between Curtis Samuel and Jerry Judy. Okay, that's where I was trying to decide. He's already been named a best friend of Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Yes, Curtis Samuel. First name basis. Well, I thought him and Jerry Judy were close. Close. But instead of Jerry Judy, Andy, you got Jamar Chase in the fifth round. In the ninth round, I'm going to get the actual rookie number one wide receiver. And I'm going to take Devante Smith. Yeah, he was, I mean, he was the next off the board for me. No question. You guys have stolen Dylan and Smith.

Nice. On this quick turn. Go back to your board. Hollywood, I'm surprised you didn't take him, but Hollywood went next. Mike, you're back on the clock. Your last five picks, Gawaday Lockett, Claypool, Giovante Williams, and AJ Dillon, who you take it? So if my calculations are correct. It appears that Team 9 is the only other team that does not have a quarterback. And we are at the remaining guys are Burrow, Stafford.

Tanahill gone? Tannahill is still there. That was where I was going to get to. Matt Ryan Baker. So you're at like, you're at lower tier type of guys, except Ryan Tannehill is still on the board. Ryan Tannenhill is inside of my top 10 of my season long projections. So to have waited this long, I'm not going to dance with team nine. You don't want to dance with team nine? Oh, no. Team nine, not a good dancing partner. This one, this takes one to tango. Me.

Drafting Ryan Taniel. Dude, I, I was, I love my team right now. And I'm happy that I took Kyler in the fifth. But your two picks of quarterback prove the point why I, you don't need to. You don't, you, Tom Brady in the eighth and Ryan Tanahill in the ninth allowed you to get better running backs, better wide receivers, whereas I took Kyler Murray in the fifth. And, and I think it worked out well, but man, I love your two quarterbacks for value. Thank you.

All right. And I don't like complimenting either of you. No, you don't. You hate it. I've got three whiteouts, Ridley, Chase, and Samuel. I could add some depth here. One of the hard, I don't know if we've ever done a show, Brooks, hardest players to draft. I'm going to take one of them right now. He's the clear number one on this team, and he's super hard to draft. I don't want to, but I'm taking Cory Davis. Oh, yeah. Middle of the ninth round, Corey Davis is the number one.

for a rookie that likes to throw the football. And so I'm going to take the shot of adding a little bit of depth there. But I mean, the reason is he's had a chance to be a number one wide receiver. He was the number one wide receiver for several years. And then he excelled once he finally became the two. And now he has a rookie throwing him the ball. So that's why it's so hard.

Dept chart number one, Mike. That's all it matters. Dept chart number one. I get it. And also players get better over time. And I think he got better than when he started in this league. All right. I was taking a gamble. There were two players I wanted at that spot. I wanted Corey Davis. I wanted the Gus bus. Oh. The Gus bus waited. He did not go. Beep. Beep. And so I'm taking the Gus bus here in the 10th round. You know, people talk about the efficiency of J.K. Dobbins in that offense.

Gus Edwards is just as efficient in that offense. They just gave him an extension. You know, what was the price for J.K. Dobbins in this draft? Third round pick. I get Gus with basically an end of the 10th round pick. And part of that is, look, if one of those guys goes down, that other player is going to have a real opportunity each and every week. They'll probably share the load right now, but at least I know it's somebody I can play that will get points. And we're talking 10th round here. There's only three picks left.

So I'm feeling pretty good with Gus Bus in the 10th. All right, excellent. I had a wide receiver I had my eye on. Perennial All-Star was a fantasy football league winner for many years. I mean, he got to his team, you know, halfway through the season, took him some time to acclimate, but then over those final three weeks of the season was a top 10 guy twice, scored three straight games, and he's playing with a quarterback who Andy is projecting will easily throw over 40 touchdowns.

Back of the 10th round, this is where we have landed in 2021. I will draft Antonio Brown, which is absurd to say Antonio Brown in the back of the 10th round. Yeah, it is, and he was pretty solid, man. He was not a bad player last year. I think that is good value. Full off season now? I mean, it's like Antonio Brown has the room. To be much, much better. When you were watching him on the field, you weren't like, oh, wow, he's.

He's definitely lost something. No, he's still good. All right. I am up right now. I'm looking at a couple of different running backs. You got two picks pretty quick. There was one that I really wanted to get back to me. And I'm not going to take him here because I don't think, I think he'll be available in two more picks. Whereas Jamal Williams, I believe would have gone. So I'm playing the gamble. Okay. I paid and I won. And I'm taking Jamal Williams and Michael Carter. Dang it.

Yeah, he won't get back to you in the 10th and 11th round. So if I look at my team, I realize I'm the best. So that's great job drafting, Jason. And it's to you, Mike. Congratulations. That is the normal post-draft talk that fantasy players give. Well, it's one of two, right? Like you either leave the draft feeling great or you're like, what have I done? We have three picks left. One of them is going to be a defense. So really two positional picks left, Mike.

You are back on the clock. Look, man, we are in. And I will cross Michael Carter's name off of this list. We are in. I had it right there. We're in just Sleeper Town now where you're just trying to find the upside. Let me make a point here while you think about that. This is the zone, too, where at least for me personally, I like taking players that I am going to see evidence of whether I'm right or wrong on that sleeper choice.

early in the season. If I take somebody here, like, let me give you an example. If you took Rashad Penny, like you're probably not going to really know whether he's integrated and important. That is correct. And you'll just cut him after week one for a waiver pick. So I like taking players that I'm going to see, not that you have to, obviously, but for me personally, I like taking players that I'm going to see evidence of really early. No, I like that strategy. And generally speaking, I would. I don't know that this is a player that you're going to know week one or not.

But we know that this player has hit 1,000 yards. We know that he has hit 10 touchdowns, but he has not put them together into one season, the man who gives narrow worry or concern for his body or well-being. But I'm going to take Mike Williams. I'll take the wide receiver 2 with Hunter Henry out of town tied to one of the good young quarterbacks. If Herbert gets any better, man, Mike Williams.
