But I think we were one year off, and we haven't been talking about the fact that this is now that luxury year two for the quarterback and wide receivers in a Kyle Shanahan offense. Put it this way. The years prior to last year, Matt Ryan averaged 28.6 touchdowns per year.

And that's not just a few years. That's six years. Six years, and it was almost always right around that 28. And last year he threw 21 touchdowns. It just seems weird. But I think you had a brand new, you know, offensive coordinator coming in. One extra year of rapport, I expect him to just, you know, I'm not predicting that he's going to come out and throw 35 touchdowns. But if he doesn't throw 28, I'm going to be surprised. I think he'll throw 28 touchdowns this year, which would bump him up.

drastically because he had the yards, he had the attempts, everything else was there. Is Julio still your number one? Julio... Oh, no, it was Beckham. It was Beckham. But Julio's my number two in all four minutes. There you go. And I'll finish Matt Ryan with this. Third in completion. Finish him. Third in completions. Sixth in completion percentage. Fifth in yards. I mean, those are great numbers. He threw a little too many of the interceptions. So if he can cut that down... I think about...

half of those were in the red zone. You saw him make plays last year that were Jay Cutler-Iroll-esque, where you just sometimes people don't want to mess with Jay Cudler because it's so emotional. You're just, what are you doing? That's what he did. And look, I think like Jason said, second year in the offense, those interceptions come down, the touchdowns go up a little bit, and we're not predicting on Matt Ryan a top five guy, but he's being very overlooked and undervalued right now.

All right, we're going to talk about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers right now. I'm going to be honest with you guys. I think if there's a place where we could miss as a show and we try not to miss. We have a lot of Foot Clan titles last year. We're trying to, trying not to miss for you. If we miss in Tampa, we miss big. If this team is not successful. Because I think, you know, Mike is a big Winston guy. Yes. We all really like Mike Evans. I like Doug Martin. So we're saying a lot of.

positive things about this offense and the potential with Dirk Cutter there now as the head coach. You know, is this a mirage, a perception mirage? Because this team is in a difficult division with New Orleans, with Carolina, with Atlanta that we just talked about. Tough divisional games. Not a great team last year. Yeah. So I don't know that New Orleans would be a tough divisional game. That seems, I mean, from a...

From winning the game, sure, but from being able to score and put up a lot of points. Those games were great last year. They were shootouts. To me, it was... Jason's the biggest on Austin Saffarian Jenkins, by the way. I just want to throw that out there. Yeah, I'm the highest. In fact, if you were to tweet him about Austin Saffarian Jenkins and how much he loves him. Not going to happen this time. I think I've got Austin Saffarian Jenkins at like 25. No, I know. I took him off the list. I basically should. Look, James Winston, it was a rough...

It was a rough opening half for James Winston. Everybody remembers week one. The Mario to Winston. Debacle of James Winston. It was so funny. I think his first pass was an interception. And he had four turnovers or something in that game. And look, it was rough. I completely agree with this. But if you look at his numbers over the course of the season, there was a noticeable statistical bump up.

in the second half of the year. You bring in Dirk Cutter, I think, a more offensive-minded guy than Lovie Smith, and they want him there to keep the James Winston development going. Plus, you had Mike Evans, who was an absolute target vacuum among the league leaders in yards. What are you shaking your head about? Well, the picture of a vacuum, maybe like with bad suction. I was just saying he sucks up the targets, but then they

They bounced off a lot last year. Yeah, the drops were whatever. And I'm fine with the drops. Exactly. I'm fine. The drops are going to happen. But he was among the league leaders in targets. But when you're number one, it only has, what do you have, three touchdowns? Yeah, three total touchdowns. When your wide receiver one only has three total touchdowns that's going to reflect in your quarterback ranking and your quarterback stats.

I think that's the anomaly. I think that he'll be closer to what Evans will be closer to what he was, his rookie year, which is a huge bump for James Winston. So just to play devil's advocate for the sake of argument here, no one's going to complain or assume that Bridgewater and his total touchdowns to his one are going to naturally change, or it's an anomaly. Could this offense be just leaning upon Doug Martin like they did last year? Is this a running...

Offense. I mean, they paid Doug Martin. Doug Martin carried the load last season. Charles Sims is there. We all like Charles Sims. Why the natural inclination that it's all going to change? No, I'm not saying everything is going to change. I'm just saying that the team as a whole will improve. Their offense will be better. Yeah, I think there will be change a little bit in that. You're going from a Lovie Smith team, right? Lovie Smith was defense run the ball.

One of those, you know, classic ground and pound, have a great defense, win a championship that way. And now you've got Dirk Cutter coming in. And, you know, this actually scares me, but Dirk Cutter is saying, we're going to start opening it up for James. I'm like, no, let's just. Keep it close. Keep it tight. Just tighten it. So he, but he wants to open it up. That to me says, look, we're not going to be the same kind of ground and pound defensive-minded team, which, of course, Dirk Cutter never has been. I don't.

think he's a great head coach we've we've talked about that before sometimes good offensive coordinators make lousy head coaches mark trussman yeah mark trussman that's a good one if they get the reality though is if you're going to open yeah wizen hunt too if you're going to open the offense up great

But you don't just say it, and it happens. You have to have an offensive line that protects James Winston to allow him to do that. He will be mistake-prone if he's under pressure like you was last year. They gave up 109 quarterback hits on Winston last season. They need to improve in that regard. Part of that was Winston, man. He holds the ball. For 109 quarterback hits, they only allowed 27 sacks, which was fourth best in the league. So the line is doing something. Sounds like a Ben Rothesberger situation. Yeah. It does.
