Do you sign multiple defenses to keep them away from your opponent? It's going to depend on what's available out there. As of right now, I feel like there's too many good options to successfully play keep-away. But if there's only one of these guys out there on the waivers because, you know, you had a lot of teams in the playoffs picking up multiple Ds and, you know, the chargers and the bills are the only two Ds out there, then sure. Then I would pick up both and, you know, drop a guy I don't need to make sure that neither of those Ds gets played against me.

106 passagesprobably too many options this week to be successful at it. All right. Let's go ahead and talk about quarterbacks. Full stream ahead. Sean Mannion. I cannot say that I like the quarterback streaming options. So my confidence level is not extremely high for these guys. The majority of the guys that I like are just plain owned in too many leagues. And there's a lot of the streaming options like James Winston, 73% owned. Bad matchups, too.
I went with Tyrod Taylor. I just said it. You know, this is a 7-7 team. I know they ran all over the opponent last week, but I don't think they're going to be able to do that against that Miami front as easily. I think Tyrod Taylor is going to have to do something with his legs through the air. It's nice that he runs the ball. It gives you a baseline. If you need a streaming quarterback, that might be available on your waiver wire. I'm okay with Tyrod Taylor.
End of my story. Right. I know. You're exactly right. This is a very difficult week. And hopefully people looked ahead. You know, we've been telling people pick up Jamie. Maybe that's why the ownership percentage or high. Philip Rivers, pick up these guys that obviously, they can't be streaming candidates now, but they are, they're better options. So hopefully you're set. If you're not set, I'm going to throw out a really gross name for you. But I looked at it and I actually do believe. Pop the emotium. Get ready. Pop the emotium. And that name.
is going to be a guy who is surprisingly, he's the quarterback 13. He's almost QB1 on the season. He was a quarterback one until last week. And this is Blake Bortles. Yes, I know. He has had a terrible season. He has regressed to the point of collapse. But again, he is the quarterback 13. He has plenty of games. You know, Indianapolis put up 34. Tennessee, he put up 39. He has.
It makes a last surge there at the end. The flush that won't give up. He has the ability to put up points. And he's playing against Tennessee. You can't, you're not wrong because he's 13. And he's got the weapons. It's ridiculous. Yeah. It just makes me sick to my stomach. And Tennessee this last week had a great week against Alex Smith. Before that, before that. Before that.
Right before they're by, I mean, they give up 28 points, 25, 35, 35, 29, 37, 28. I'm happy with 20 from Blake Bortles. If he's off the Gus bus, maybe those fumes aren't in his face anymore, maybe he can do something. Yeah, air it out. And keep in mind, the last time, I know it was a lot. They do need to air out the stench. You're right. I know there was a lot of garbage time. But when Blake Bortles played Titans last, he put up 39 points. He's the king. He is the garbage time. He's the king of the garbage. Mike.
What disgusting name do you have to emit into the... Sean Mannion. There's a couple names I've gone back and forth with. I'm okay with Matt Barkley against Washington. But I'm making my official guy. Colin Kaepernick gets to take on the Rams. Their passing defense is not terrifying in the least. Colin Kaepernick, he had a... We know the collapse. Everyone knows about it when he just...
failed everyone miserably in that game against Chicago. But since then, he's been trending back up. He can always run. He had 183 yards and two touchdowns last week against Atlanta. I just, I think that he's a fine play against the Rams. So he's, he's my guy this week. All right. All right. Um,
A reminder, we will have the footy awards coming up again. Nominations. Nominations for those awards, including last year's Garbage Man. Yeah. I mean, last year. It's tougher this year. It was pretty easy last year. You knew it was Blake Bortles. Well, yeah, Jordan Matthews, too. Oh, yeah. He was in consideration. Wait, did Jordan Matthews win? I think, I can't remember. Maybe Matthews beat Bortles. No.
It was between those two guys. We'll have to bet that. We'll refresh your memory on the last year's footies. Next week, footies. Don't miss it. Yeah, we'll get the nominations out there.
