Jay Griz silently fills Andy's microphone while being credited with roars

The live opening bills the full-size grizzly cutout as 'Cardboard bear extraordinaire, Jay Gris' and says he is roaring up a storm. The next passage explicitly says Jay is sitting in and Andy is absent. Complete storyboard review shows Jay rigid at Andy's left microphone for the whole show, while targeted audio supplies no distinct roar, voice, theme, or other Jay cue.

moment

Owl backs The Borgogon while Brooks supplies the silent parallel

The hosts announce a Fantasy Faceoff against Kyle The Borgogon and ask Owl whether he stands with his man. Direct booth video shows right-seat Jeremy answer, 'You know I am.' The host then tells left-seat Brooks, 'I know you won't,' but no distinct Brooks reply follows.

moment

The final Friday hands the show to Tuesday and Thursday

The hosts call this their final Friday show of the year, promise they do not go away, and specify a two-show offseason schedule on Tuesday and Thursday. They immediately frame the next cycle around the Footie nomination process, including Poopiest Pants, Nickname of the Year, and Show Moment of the Year.

moment

The Borgogon answers his championship loss from the center booth

The hosts celebrate beating Kyle in the Fantasy Faceoff championship and ask how he feels. Word-level alignment and targeted video show center-seat Kyle answer that he feels indifferent because he did not get to play the frozen transcript's 'Alan Diggs.'

moment

Jason wins his second League of Record championship

After the Bills-Bengals no contest gives the private leagues a final result, the desk identifies Jason as the League of Record champion and says he brought it down for the second time. Jason thanks Mike for the congratulations.

moment

A good Swift game only makes Mike's rage boil harder

When asked whether DeAndre Swift's late success renews his interest for next season, Mike says it only made his rage boil over more and states, 'I loathe him.'

moment

Bryan Ketron's Listener League loss creates the Biggest Loser

The hosts introduce friend and video-graphics employee Bryan Ketron as the Biggest Lovable Loser, then explain that the name comes from losing to Jason in a Listener League championship Bryan should have won. Targeted video confirms Jason is the speaker saying Bryan lost 'to me.'

moment

Bryan manages an abandoned test league into third place

The studio created a disposable Yahoo league to test API tools. Most employees forgot it or left bye-week players active; Bryan alone made about fifty waiver claims, collected the waiver stars, and still finished third. Jeremy, who says he drafted but forgot the league, wins and answers the congratulations with, 'You're darn right. I am. Oh, eat it, Brian.'

moment

The Wheel lands Fish Face and traps Jason behind one hole

A produced green Wheel of Shame spins past Jester, Uncle Sam, Blue Man, and other options before visibly stopping on FISH FACE. Jason struggles a huge dark fish head over himself, keeps it on through the close, and explains that its single hole lets him see either the screen or microphone but not both.

moment

Fish Face realizes the silent bear may eat him

Jason declares, 'I am a fish. I am not a cat,' before the desk notices that Fish Face is seated beside the giant cardboard bear. Jason calls the arrangement bad, especially with a book about eating salmon in front of Jay. Direct video verifies the fish head, grizzly cutout, and a book-like desk object together, while the book's subject remains dialogue-only.

summary

Episode notes

Complete published-video review shows the full-size realistic Jay Griz grizzly cutout occupying absent Andy's left host station and microphone for the entire episode. Jason is centered in a black T-shirt and black-framed glasses; Mike is at right in a gray zip hoodie over a pink shirt and a dark cap. The opening calls Jay the cardboard bear extraordinaire and claims he is roaring, but word-level audio review supplies no distinct Jay voice, roar, or sound drop, and the cutout never moves. Live Deucers Alley cuts show Brooks at left in a backward cap and gray outer layer, Kyle centered in a backward cap and red cardigan, and Jeremy at right in a dark cap and dark top, all wearing headsets behind monitors. Kyle is introduced with the normalized character name The Borgogon. Jeremy/Owl distinctly answers, 'You know I am,' when asked whether he stands with Kyle; Brooks is then addressed but gives no attributable reply. Kyle later visibly says he feels indifferent about losing the Fantasy Faceoff championship because he did not get to play Allen Diggs. The final Friday show announces the year-round Tuesday/Thursday offseason schedule and previews the Footie nomination process, while Foot Clan Friday awards Laura Crother a $100 Fantasy Champs gift card. After the Bills-Bengals no contest resolves private fantasy results, Mike congratulates Jason as the League of Record champion for the second time. Mike's DeAndre Swift rage also survives one late healthy performance: he says it only made the rage boil over and that he loathes Swift. The close produces unusually rich crew and Listener League lore. Roster-matched video-graphics employee Bryan Ketron is called the Biggest Loser because he lost to Jason in a Listener League championship he should have won. A Yahoo API test league then exposes an even stranger result: most employees abandoned it, Bryan made about fifty waiver claims and managed it alone, yet finished third; Jeremy won despite forgetting the league and celebrates offscreen with, 'You're darn right. I am. Oh, eat it, Brian.' The green Wheel of Shame visibly spins and lands on FISH FACE. Jason pulls a huge dark fish head over his own, keeps it through the close, and explains that its single viewing hole forces him to choose between the screen and microphone. Kyle delivers another live center-booth lineup answer during the punishment. Jason declares, 'I am a fish. I am not a cat,' then worries about sitting beside the giant cardboard bear with a book about eating salmon in front of Jay. A book-like desk object is visible, but only dialogue establishes its salmon subject. No Megalabowl detail occurs.

Jason was the big loser. And this week it is me versus Jason versus Kyle slash owl. Wait, you just brought up the big loser. Oh, do we have? Are we sharing this story right now? We've got to share this story because it's too good. It's too good. The biggest loser. Oh my gosh. The biggest lovable loser. We're doing this? I'm doing this. I'll take full blame because Brian Ketran. This is the most shameful fantasy football story to ever be told of all time. Best friends for life love Brian Ketran. Good dear friend. He works on some, he does like video graphics and things for us. And, and loses. What a loser. I mean, what a absolute loser.

55:17 ↗

he's called the biggest loser because he lost to me in the listener league championship of which he was in when he should have won he didn't because again loser right so we found out yesterday we we found out that there was a test league we you know we needed to make some yahoo tools and get their API working for some of our stuff so they are our guys around the studio They needed people with Yahoo accounts to come on and just draft a test account to do some testing. And Brian Ketra was gracious enough. He hopped in there. Jeremy, our programmers, you know, 12 people. Right. Hop in, draft this league. It was just a test league. Goes on. And some people that like, Jeremy, did you draft your team? I did. Okay.

56:05 ↗

Okay, so I think there was some people auto drafted. Some people did a real draft. I hadn't done a lot of mocking at that time. So that was my mock. Sure. So you just took it as an opportunity for a mock truck. Now, you didn't do anything with this league because it was just a fake test league, right? No idea. Did you remember that you did this test league? Nope. Yeah, not all about it. There was one person, though, that played it out. One person, it was Brian Ketron. He made like 50 waiver wire claims and played in a dead league. He picked up all the waiver wire stars. And he lost. He didn't win. He got third place. And we just found this out yesterday.

56:44 ↗

He got third place playing against nobody. Also, Jeremy. This is a league where people left their bi-week players in their starting rosters. Also, Jeremy, congratulations. You're a champion in that league. You're darn right. I am. Oh, eat it, Brian. I love you. So shameful. I have to shame. I have to shame someone before I get shamed. Speaking of shame. Will of shame. Let's go spin that wheel. Spin that wheel. What are we got? Let's see. The jester, Uncle Sam, Blue Man. Oh, no. No! How did I not see this coming? Fish face? What's this? Oh, no. You son of a gun. Not the fish face again. Oh. Good. Dead. Put it on. Come it. Let me see your fish face.

57:47 ↗

Get in there, ladies and gentlemen. The fish is being put on. He can't even get it on. It's so ridiculous. Oh, we're back, baby. Let's go fishing. All right. Let's get our lineups out there. Welcome back, Jason. Welcome back to the shame. I'll kick things off. My quarterback is Joshua Allen at 8,400 at home against the Patriots need to win. Kyle, who do you got? I got Gino Smith, 6K. They need to win as well. Okay. Okay. Fish face. Fish face going fishing with Josh Allen. I've got him as well, Mike. Thank you. My running backs. I'm glad you pivoted out. I'm staying not scared. Kenneth Walker at home against the Rams, 6,400. He will be riding alongside Mr. Najee Harris against the Cleveland Browns and their run funnel defense at 6100.

58:48 ↗

I have Najee Harris as well. And then I have one of the nasty boys. Oh, Jonathan Williams, because Brian Robinson also not practicing today on Friday. Wait. Kyle, did you know that we run a fantasy football informational news program? I just broke that news. To be fair, he did just break the news. How long have you been sitting on that? About two minutes. Liar. Liar, I see through your lies. All right. At running back. I'm trying to see it. Talking to the mic, Mr. Fish. Well, I've got to, I only have one hole and I need to look at the screen, which is not my microphone. If I talk into the microphone, all I see is a microphone. All right. I think I've got Delvin Cook at running back. Ever heard of them? Yeah, he's let a lot of people down recently. Yeah, he's going to let me down this week. And I've got Cam Acres.

59:43 ↗

Okay. Cam Acres is a price on drafting. 6,600. Thank you. Against the Seattle Seahawks at wide receiver. I will be shocked if you don't have it, Jason. I have Stefan Diggs to go along with the Josh Allen stack. I'm going with Drake London, the target machine for the Atlanta Falcons at home against the Tampa Bay team that is not going to play for anything. 4,900. And, oh, by the way, Stefan Diggs on drafting sports book, his TD is, uh, it's, uh, I can't even think of the right way to. His T.D. Prop. His T.D. Prop. Thank you. Minus 110. It's in the minus. A touchdown prop. I mean, that's, that is wild stuff, meaning that they expected to happen far more than they do not. And then my start of the week coming in at 4,200, Mr. Rashid Shaheed, with that need for speed against the Carolina Panthers who just got torched by Mike Evans. Kyle.

60:39 ↗

I have Stefan Diggs as well. So to mitigate somebody else, Josh Allen. I have D.K. Metcalfe to stack with Gino Smith. Okay. His receiving line is 65 and half. And then this kind of goes against your Rashid Shaheed. I have my boy Chris Olave at 6200. Oh, I figured. Fight, fight, fight. Um, I have, uh, Drake London and Stefan Diggs. So we're the same there, Mike. Okay. Well, we're not the same right now at all. You're a fish. I am a fish. I am not a cat. I am a fish. I'm ready to move on. And then I do have the dork. Oh. I'm going full PPR hoping he gets, you know, five receptions for 50 yards. Oh, we did 3,800. Jason, we just realized what is your level of concern being a fish next to a giant cardboard bear? Oh, that's not good. With a book about eating salmon in front of him. Oh, man. At tight end.

61:37 ↗

You asked Jason, am I okay with it? And I said yes, because Trey McBride is in my lineup against the 49ers at 3,300. My flex cam acres, so we wash out there. And my DST, to make all of this happen, I went with the Arizona Cardinals against the San Francisco 49ers at 2,100, just hoping that maybe there's a little bit of a rookie letdown for Brock Purdy. There probably won't be, but, you know, here we are. At tight end, I have Tyler Higby, 4,400, the best matchup for tight ends. Miles Sanders is my flex. That's a good one. At 5,900. And then I have the Broncos defense gambling that that game won't mean anything. So they're super cheap. All right. Close us out. Fish face. All right. I've got Tyler Higby as well. Good matchup start of the week. And I've got the Jets defense against the Skyler sister at quarterback.

62:30 ↗

And then I'm going, I'm going fishing here. Okay. With Elijah Mitchell. Oh. Doing some projecting here. That was your pivot on the show? That was my pivot. I was worried, apparently, about Kenneth Walker missing practice. So I went with a guy who hasn't played and we don't know if he's even going to be a starter or if the starter is active. The Ford or Niners did just update and say he is expected to play. Yeah, but what about Chris McCaffrey? They said, quote, if he's not right, we won't have him out there. Want him right for the playoffs, but if healthy, he'll play. Let's go, Missal. That was Fantasy Faceoff presented by Draft King Sportsbook. Download the Draft King Sportsbook app now.
