And, well, I need to switch drinks. And I'm off camera here. So I'm just going to throw back that last drink and switch to my wonderfully delicious LaCroix. And there's something in my coffee. Oh. There is a big chunk of something that is in my coffee distracting me because someone put an almond in my coffee. I did. I put it. What?

It was brewing on the cake up maker earlier and I dropped an almond into it and I forgot about it. Yeah, well, now it made it on the show. Did you choke? No, it like hit my teeth and I was so grossed out in that moment. Trust me, when you're drinking a coffee, I didn't know what it was. I completely forgot about it. What is this in my coffee? It just seemed like the right thing to do when I was in the kitchen. Yeah, well, it was. Well, it was. I appreciate that, Andy. Back back on track. So the yards after catch for Mike Evans was, was poor.

And maybe that's, you're like, oh, he's not getting separation. Wasn't it like otherworldly poor? Yes. The fifth worst in the last 10 years out of anybody at that level. It was like two years ago when DeAndre Hopkins, where it was, when you heard the number, like that's, that's literally impossible. Right. That's his yards after catch. But D. Jacks, I mean, now you can't, if you're going to run a single high safety, you can't just have him cheat over to Mike Evans because you have to respect the speed of Deshaun Jackson.

So I love this move. If they can get a good running back in Tampa Bay, then this offense is going to be extremely potent. You know who's two years younger than Terrell Pryor and three years younger than Kenny Brett? Who's that? Josh Gordon. I only say that because I looked up Terrell Pryor and it shows Josh Gordon underneath him at 25 years old. Oh, Josh Gordon. Oh, the potential. Why would you go? We'll get into it. Never mind. All right.

Let's talk a couple bits of news for the Bengals. Now, they have re-signed Brandon LaFell. Yes. You know Jason and Brandon LaFell. It's an intense love affair. They also lost Whitworth on the offensive line who signed with the Los Angeles. There you go. Rams. I think that's a big signing. I think that's a huge signing. For the Rams, yes. For the Rams.

And that offensive line. I mean, one of the better tackles in the league. One of the worst offensive lines in the league last year. So I agree with it. Bodes well for both the quarterback and that Todd Gurley guy I like so much. Let's talk about Brandon LaFeld, though. I mean, last year, kind of a surprise production year. A.J. Green was injured. You had a lot of injuries. You had Eifford out. You had Geo Bernard out. So headline news here, just a good stable presence there for Andy Dalton. I like it.

I think it's, I think he's an okay wide receiver. I know he has his, sure he has his false, but they, he's a veteran. He knows how to play the game. And it, I, I don't think, I don't think it's a bad move. He's okay at best. And, and this is coming from the guy that always sees the, at least the, the, the fantasy relevance, uh, of the oft maligned Brandon Lafell, which is still not all that relevant, but.

I was disappointed by this news because, you know, I think Andy Dalton can be a really good quarterback if he's got the right pieces. And this says to me that they're less likely to go out and sign a or even draft a really good wide receiver to be opposite AJ Green. That was one of my hopes for the off season. I couldn't imagine they were going to do that. They spent, what was Tyler Boyd, a second round pick? I'll look it out real quick. But I mean, 64 catches, 862 yards, six touchdowns.

and about a third of the money that Kenny Stills cost. It's interesting. That's where I say. For Brandon LaFelle? That's where the replaceable type of terms is because Kenny Stills is a third of the age of Brandon LaFelle. Absolutely. Absolutely. Yep. I mean, you're trying to lock up a talk to your guy. Yeah, Tyler Boyd's second round pick. All right. Tyrod Taylor. He's staying in Buffalo. A restructured contract will keep him with the bills this year. Do we are we? Sanity wins.

sanity wins, but does Sammy Watkins win? Yes, Sammy Watkins, I believe, wins. And I went back and forth on this prior to the signing. Really, like, I was diving in and saying, what's better for Sammy Watkins value? Is it better that, you know, they sign a different quarterback who's more of a pocket passer who's going to, maybe they turn the offense into a more prolific, air-ed-out offense, which would be better for Sammy Watkins.

But I think in reality, there is not a capable weapon to do that with. There's not a quarterback to replace Tyrod Taylor with that could succeed in doing that. And we have had stretches. We've had an entire. Whoa. Breaking news. I pooped a little bit. Tori Smith has signed a three-year deal. Is he back? With the Philadelphia Eagles. Oh. What? Yeah. Al-Shon. He was leaning for the Ravens, but.

ended up going to Philadelphia. Man, that is, that is poop. That is, I'm just saying, I think, three year, three year, $15 million deal with the Eagles. I know Matt Harmon. I know Matt Harmon and others still believe in Tori Smith. I have not been a believer in Tori Smith. I think he does one thing and does one thing well. And I, I don't think it's the thing that is needed for Philadelphia who has a desperate need for a wide receiver one.

They need a guy. They got him. Philly doesn't need like 20 receptions from, uh, from a toy Smith. So, uh, man, that, that is disappointing news for, I think for. It muddies the Philadelphia Eagle wide receiver. They already had one of the lowest cap spaces in the league. So they don't have room to go out and, and, uh, that's why they did this. I mean, three years. Oh, what is the. This is madness. The Los Angeles Rams have signed Robert Woods, formerly of the bills. I like it.

to a five-year, $39 million deal, including $15 million. Good for you, Robert Woods. Congratulations. Robert Woods, I like him. I always have. Apparently the Rams like him. So, yeah, I'll try to keep the news coming, guys. Well, I appreciate that. I mean, we need to get back to the bills a little bit. Yeah, so let's do that.

Yeah, I believe I was in the middle of saying that we've seen Sammy Watkins have an entire half a year with the bills with Tyrod Taylor where he was a top five wide receiver, not just like, oh, hey, he was really fantasy relevant. Two years ago, the second half of the year, he was great. And he had obvious injuries all year last year and all career, right? I mean, my issue with drafting Sammy Watkins is the same issue I have.

with drafting Keenan Allen is not talent, is not system or opportunity. I think they're fantasy studs, but they're super duper injury prone. I have a hard time believing that I'm getting 16 games out of either of those guys. But should you get 16 games out of those guys, they're great. And so with Tyrae Taylor back, he can throw the deep ball. He's already got the rapport to succeed with Sammy Watkins. I like the move for both Buffalo and for Sammy Watkins.

We talked a little bit about the Eagles signing Tori Smith just now. There are reports right now that the Eagles and the Colts are both still making a strong push to sign Alshon Jeffrey. The Colts? The Colts and Eagles are making a strong push to sign Alshon Jeffrey. Talks continuing with the Bears. I'll let you know if I hear anything else. Matt Harmon just tweeted too. The Colts got to chill with all these wide receivers, man.

But, but, but we have said this before, right, with Aaron Roger's situation, with different elite quarterbacks. Do you put them in the position to succeed? Now, we would all say putting Andrew Luck in a position to succeed means maybe you go sign Andrew Whitworth instead of Alshon Jeffrey and you fix offensive line. That being said, I think we all have realized that Philip Dorset is not, is an ancillary replaceable.

number four wide receiver in the NFL. He's not an elite receiver. You start to look at Alshan Jeffrey with T.Y. Hilton. And all of a sudden you say, okay, you're putting Andrew Luck in a position to make Andy smile for his dynasty team. Well, you better hope Alshan gets his young man Berners going in because Andrew Luck continues to just get pummeled. Yeah. Wow. Moncrief. Hilton. Jeffrey. Come up. Bring it on. That would be unbelievable.

But so back to the bills, an underrated piece of news I wanted to bring up was they signed Patrick DeMarco, the fullback. They did. Who graded out pro football focus. He was the third best pass blocking fullback. And so, I mean, it's that's a, that's a huge upgrade for LaShawn McCoy. And then they had to go and crush some of my hope immediately when they signed Mike Tolbert.

And they signed him allegedly as a running back, but this sounds like more goal line vulturing. If they're going to have Gillisley and Tolbert to steal all my Shady McCoy touchdowns, I find that very unfortunate. You know, it's funny that Mike Tolbert is thought of as a goal line vulture. I think he did that once upon a time, but it's been a while.

I want to say in the last two years. Well, it's just why would you sign Tolbert after you just gave a good contract to a fullback? Because you wanted to have a fullback as exciting as fullbacks are. Let's move on to talk about some tight ends. Sure.

Jack Doyle's talking about the fullbacks. Jack Doyle signed a three-year $19 million contract and the Patriots traded for Dwayne Allen. The Patriots basically repeated exactly what they did last year, trading a draft pick from Martell's Bennett. This year they did it for Dwayne Allen. Doyle lost. Got him a title. This year, it'll get him a title. Jack Doyle, three-year, $19 million contract. Jack Doyle is a tight end number one. One, for sure. Wow.

He's absolutely in the top 12. I mean, with that offense, the way that Andrew Luck has always used tight-ins. I also think it's wise, if you're in a dynasty league, I know, Andy, you already did this. I did. You know, go out and pick up Eric Swope. Just in case. Yeah, well, just in case. They've always used two tight-ins in past catching roles since Andrew Luck has been there. And we saw Swope come on the scene and be relevant. I think that's why you could get rid of the contract with Dwayne Allen. Yeah.

Yeah, so Dwayne Allen in New England, are people, is he worth a flyer there? Because he, look, is he going to score a touchdown in the first game of the year like he always does? And then nothing else. Book that. But it'll be exactly like Martellus Bennett, where it just keeps getting your hopes up until then you actually play him and you get one catch for five yards. Yeah, I mean, he's going into the exact same role as a very similar player. I mean, I don't think he's as.

quality as Martellus Bennett is, but he can, he's complete, right? Just like Martellus Bennett. He can pass block. He can run block. He can catch the ball. And so you're going to have him play that role where you could not predict last year. There was no fantasy analyst last year that could predict the Martell's Bennett games. Because when it seemed like they were going to happen, they didn't, when it didn't seem like it was going to happen, he would go out for three. And so.

He will have a decent season as a whole, but I think it's going to be difficult, speaking of Duane Allen, I think it's going to be difficult to know when and where, but he is good gronk insurance. Brian Hoyer, Pierre Garz signed to the 49ers. Reunions with Kyle Shanahan. Yes. Also, Marquis Goodwin, formerly of the bills, going to the 49ers. Let's talk 49ers, gentlemen. Is Brian Hoyer the starting quarterback for next year? If Kirk Cousins doesn't go, yeah. Yeah, if they don't make the move for Cousins, which could.

still happen. It's, to me, it'll be Brian Hoyer. They'll have him bridge. They did not give him starter level money, but I think he'll be the guy for at least a year unless they spend their two pick on a quarterback, which I don't think they will.

Yeah. Do you think they would jump in on the guy? No, no. The reports are that there's just no way they're taking them. I don't think they like a guy at that spot at the number two. I would be surprised. Maybe it's smoke the reports. But I think going out and signing Brian Hoyer says that they are bridging the gap until Kirk Cousins is their starter the following year. I mean, too much to happen between now and then. But 10 million for two years, 10 million a year, basically, for two years for Brian Hoyer says.

We can have him start, and we can have him be a backup. Either way, the team's going to be fine. I think Brian Hoyer is a good fantasy quarterback. He's one of those guys that he'll throw a bunch of interceptions, but he'll throw a bunch of touchdowns. He'll air the ball out enough. He is familiar with Kyle Shanahan. Yeah, it didn't go very well when he was Shanahan's quarterback in Cleveland. True. But, I mean, change of scenery, Pierre Garsohn.
