The two best friends review their own fill-in show
Andy returns after Jason and Mike filled in as the two best friends. Andy says he did not listen; one fill-in says at least six DMs called it the best Footballers show ever, then admits most of the messages came from himself.
moment
Andy chooses self-flagellation as a championship soundtrack
Andy says the prior fantasy championship run needed a Michael Bolton distance ballad. For the back-to-back attempt, Josh Groban leads the suggestions and 'You Raise Me Up' makes sense, even though repeated listening is described as punishment and grobbing himself.
moment
Papa Josh keeps the poop trophy while Matt adopts diapers
The hosts celebrate all three producers remaining present, identify Papa Josh as the current poop-trophy holder, and reveal that Matt now wears diapers. Matt is praised for putting his body on the line so production has one uninterrupted hour.
moment
Andy's replacement tooth is days away
Andy says he missed the previous show for more tooth work, is only days from receiving the replacement, and expects that once it arrives he will pronounce everything correctly.
moment
Andy's hyphen bet forces Jason into a forever vow
Andy is directly identified as starting Nick Westbrook-Ikhine in the League of Record after pounding the table for the hyphenated receiver. Jason, addressed as Jay, says another touchdown will make him donate in the player's name and recommend him as Start of the Week forever.
moment
Jason takes a camera-safe lap
A host says he would pick Jalen Wright and expects a swish for saying 'right.' After explaining the unappreciated wordplay, Jason is told to take a lap, physically circles the table, and is warned not to kick the cameras.
moment
Mr. Moore becomes Parlay Partay's center clown
Two hosts earn crowns, but Jason sits dead center as the clown because Jahmyr Gibbs caught exactly two passes rather than clearing 2.5. Jason's wig is placed with so little heart that it barely covers the front and could leave in one breeze.
moment
Mike confirms the next chaining
The show closes by asking which Fantasy Faceoff contestant will be chained, predicts Mike, and receives Mike's immediate confirmation that it is him.

Episode notes
Andy returns after Jason and Mike—the two best friends—filled in for him; he admits he did not listen, while one of the fill-ins claims to have sent most of the six 'best show ever' DMs. Andy's absence is later tied to more work on his nearly ready replacement tooth, which he expects will let him pronounce everything correctly again. Andy also needs a daily championship soundtrack: after a Michael Bolton distance ballad the prior year, Josh Groban and 'You Raise Me Up' lead the back-to-back attempt even though the desk calls the listening self-flagellation. Deucer's Alley expands its bathroom canon. All three producers are present, Papa Josh remains the poop-trophy holder, and Matt has started wearing diapers so production is never abandoned during the one hour that matters. League of Record produces a named dare: Andy starts Nick Westbrook-Ikhine after championing the hyphen, while Jason vows to donate in the player's name and recommend him forever if another touchdown lands. A Jalen Wright wordplay attempt fails to receive the expected swish, so Jason physically takes a lap around the table and is warned not to kick the cameras. Parlay Partay then dresses Jason as the central clown after Jahmyr Gibbs finishes at two receptions rather than over 2.5; the wig is worn so halfheartedly that one breeze could remove it. Finally, the next Fantasy Faceoff punishment is identified as chaining, and Mike confirms he is the recipient.
Yeah, he will. Berkeley will handle it. It's okay. I'm going to have Kendrave Miller's to the rescue. He's going for records and stuff. I mean, Carolina's defense is dead last. They're giving up 166 yards a game against running backs. Teams run the ball 51% of time of the time against them, which is the highest in the NFL in the last 12 years. So the recipe works and everyone's doing it. It's like you pick the favorite on the menu. Like what's the chef special? It's hand the ball off against Carolina and win. By the way, Sequin's averaging 124.9 a game. Yeah, and the matchup is perfect, so unbelievable. So, yeah, I mean, Devante Smith probably, you know, that's the one that you're terrified of. If he's active, do you play him? Because it's the, it's not that the Panthers passing defense has amazing personnel and they're dominant. It's that you don't throw against them, and so they're sixth in the league against.
wide receivers and then he's coming off an injury. To me, I'm trying to find another. I would agree. I'm hoping Devante Smith is kind of not even there just so you're not tempted to play him. It allows the work to be funneled to A.J. Brown. I feel like A.J. Brown and Saquan Barkley alone by themselves can just beat the Panthers with the best defense in football. I mean, their defense. They had a couple holes last year, and somehow they turned them all into massive strengths. You just can't do much. They just shut down Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens, who only scored 19 points against them last week. And the 19 points includes the garbageiest of garbagey end-of-game touchdown with seven seconds left that was meaningless and worthless. So, yeah, I mean, I'm not excited about any Panthers. I will say.
The Thelins and David Moors and those, in a PPR world, they're going to have to be thrown at a lot in this game. Then I want to throw out the name. Dallas Goddard is not expected to play. Oh, yes, yes, yes. Grant, Calcutara, that name has been mentioned earlier in this season, but it's, you know, in those games where he was getting actual real snaps. He was seeing like 16 or 70% of the targets, so. In desperate times, I think that he could be played. What were those numbers you just said? He was getting what? 16 to 17% target share. I heard 70. Oh, no. No, and Dallas Goddard. He had one game this year where he was 4 for 67 and he looked pretty good. Yeah, and this is a perfect matchup. Schedule adjusted, their 30th the Panthers are against tight end. If Devante Smith is out and Dallas Goddard is out, Grant Calcuttaire is a very nice, you know, cheap option.
And I mention them. We'll mention it really quick. If it was stealing or legate, if we have to put one in, the name for you is. This week, specifically, it would be the PPR upside of Adam Thielen. The Browns are three and nine taking on the nine and three Steelers. We've talked a little bit about this game already earlier with Jason start of the week of James Winston. The drafting sports book line here. Pittsburgh minus six and a half. The overrunners 43 and a half. Cleveland beat them in week 12. That was the fun game where... You know, James finished it in the snow, bumbling and tumbling and flipping into the end zone. Nick Chubb scored twice in that game. The Steelers, listen to this stat. If you want a shocking stat, they have won 20 consecutive home games against the Browns. Wow. 20 straight games at home against the Browns. You know, you said you were praying for more pick sixes. I do think that there's a balancing act there, right? Like you've got to be.
I think two, I think one to two is the right number. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And beyond that, you're not going to give them the chance to throw. You still get negative points for interceptions. So they've got to be, I want them early and let's cap it at two. He is, I think, and you admit this, he has a risk to some degree in this specific matchup. Yes. But the upside potential is there where other quarterbacks don't. Have it. He's not for everyone. He is a situational. He is a situational need when you are. James is not for everyone. Up against it. But if you want to have a good time. Yeah. I mean, you can have a really bad time. I'm better than this. I'm better than this. Yeah. This is a 50-50 lottery ticket. Russ is my stream of the week at home playing great football. You know, you want to just another feather in the cap for Mike Tomlin. Like nobody. Nobody believed in the move.
Nobody in the media. Probably half the players in the locker room secretly who would never admit it to Mike Tomlin. The players actually came out and really, the way that they supported fields when the change was made, it was, they weren't coming out and saying I disagree with it, but they were saying that. They're now five and one. They are scoring a million points. Russ is having, I don't know if you realize this, Russ is throwing for more yards per game for the Steelers than he's ever done in his entire career. This is his record. More yards per game for Russell Wilson. Wild. So if it's me and I'm looking at this game and it's Russ versus James, Russ is safer to me. James could have the wheels completely fall off. But I think, you know, both guys can score a bunch of points. I mean, Russ put up a lot last week. You need the game to be what we want it to be. Now the overrunners, 43 and a half. That says it's not going to be. Yeah, no, it's not expected to be. There's also a chance of a little bit of rain in this.
So if weather becomes an issue, pay attention closer to kickoff. And that could hurt the upside. But, you know, I think that there are a lot of pieces in this game on both sides that I want. Najee Harris has been outstanding as far as opportunities, 20 plus opportunities per game. He has the best odds in this game at an anytime touchdown on Draft Kings. Russ. You know, your stream of the week is fine. George Pickens with the moonballs has been great. How do you feel about Nick Chubb? Not as good. I wouldn't do it. He had his best game against these Steelers, but last week looked bad. Yeah, and. You saw Ford. Jerome Ford was on the field a ton and especially, I know they won last time, but I don't think that's what I'm going to project. So I would be afraid of Joe. Would you play Jerry Rice in this one? Yeah, Jerry Rice, Judge Judy.
Let's go, baby. Did you just do a double up? A double up. Jerry Rice, Judge Judy is, I mean, you have to start. You have to start. Yes, you have to start. Do you know he went from 30th and yards to 5th in yards? I did see that. 235 will do that. The Cedric Tillman didn't practice again on Wednesday. That one is. Yeah, Jason's faces. Is that what that was the reaction to? It wasn't. Oh. Oh, okay. What was your reaction there, Jason? I just looked at the five games played with James to see what the yardage pace is. He's averaging 112 yards a game. He's on pace for 2,087 yards. But Tillman not practicing this long after the concussion. That's very troublesome. But then the.
The window opening would be Elijah Moore, who's averaging almost 10 targets a game. And especially if Tillman is active, Elijah Moore is still, I think, a flex consideration. But if Tillman is out, then you should feel very confident playing more. Nojoku, yep, get him in there for sure. He is a great play down the stretch. Let's turn. To the parley partay. Oh, I couldn't remember. I couldn't remember what I was this week, but apparently. What, a crown again? I'm putting a crown on this week. All three of us have got the, oh, wait a minute. Oh, there's a clown in the room. Oh, dead center. Dead center. Yeah. So last week, I took Tua with 225 plus. He had 365. Mike took Rico Dowdell, his hero, his champion.
Thank you, Rico. Prince, if you want to keep the courtroom. Wait, where is Rico on the, is he into the top 20 yet? No, he's not. No? But we're going to get there, baby. I had Gibbs drop the, he had towards the end of the game. He had an easy pass that he dropped. I'm going to tell you, the way you put your wig on, there's no, there was no heart. In the way that you put your wig. Really? It looks good on camera. I can't see your entire hat over. It's the front side. They can't. Oh, it's just one slight breeze and the wig goes flying. Thank you. So Mr. Moore took Jamir Gibbs over two and a half receptions. He had two. He dropped one with seven minutes in the fourth and ended up a clown. But two out of three ain't bad. We'll jump into the week 14 parlay. I'm going to take Trey McBride.
The machine, the PPR monster, the touchdown, it don't matter because I'm taking 60 plus receiving yards against Seattle. He's averaging 71 per game. He's got 12 catches in two straight weeks. I like the 60 plus. I'm going to take Aaron Jones over two and a half receptions against Atlanta. Atlanta is one of the teams I try to target for running back reception overs. They allow the fourth most per game at 5.8. Aaron Jones is averaging three receptions in wins and three and a half receptions at home. He's hitting the over and five of his six home games. So I think this is a good, I said it in the matchup, but I like both running backs overs on their receptions this week. And I'm going, Mike Evans 60 plus receiving yards. Normally, I'm like, great. Mike Evans against Las Vegas. But I'm also legitimately factoring this in. Mike Evans can still get to his 1,000 yards and keep that streak alive. And I know.
deep down in my heart that that matters to Mike Evans. For sure. And it matters. It will matter. And so facto, it will matter to Baker Mayfield, who is going to try his best to get him there. All right. That was fantasy forecast presented by Draft King's Pick Six. Download the new Draft King's Pick Six app now and use the code Ballers. One quick aside since I missed yesterday's preview of the game and with the news this morning of Dobbs that we're reporting. I will be riding on Super Buy Week with a Don Tavian Wix in tonight's game. There's nothing wrong with that. With a high overrunner trying to catch some lightning in a bottle. You putting him in over Westbrookicini?
I have them both in my lineup. Oh, okay. I'm sorry. That's how bad my week is going. But above, like, I was looking at Josh Palmer. I was looking at some of these, you know, with Ladd-McConkie may be missing, but then he's going to play. Wix was in on 89% of the snaps. It was his highest of the year last year. So if you want a little dart throw for tonight's game, you talk about a game where you can't run the football well. Jacob's banged up. Detroit's good against the run. Look to Wix, Watson, and Reed to be the weapons.
And we'll close it out on that. More matchups tomorrow, the delicious and wonderful fantasy faceoff. Got to figure out which one of you guys is getting chained. I think it's, I think it's Mike. It's me. Goodbye.
