Week 16 Waivers & QB Streamers, Platform Cleats

So are you going to roll into your championship week then? With David and Joku. Yes. Versus the Bengals. Okay. Jimmy Graham. No, no, no, no. Versus the chess. So you would. Okay. Let's say you had Jimmy Graham or you had Kyle Rudolph. Okay. Now are you looking at the wave of wire? I'm looking for Evan Ingraham. And I'm saying, please be there. Evan Ingram.

Come on. Matt LaCost, Denver Broncos tied in. He gets to play the Oakland Raiders who are amongst the league worst. Blake Jarre winning for the Dallas Cowboys, gets to play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And he's come on the past two games, I believe back to back weeks with seven targets. We're not talking about world beaters here, but you don't want. So you don't want goose eggs. You don't want that Austin Hooper zero in your tight end position. Tight ends take a while.

You know, rookie tight ends don't ever, it's very, very rare for them to pop. Except for Evan Engram, and then they decided that they didn't want to use them for the half the year. Well, they're like, you got too quick ahead starting your rookie year. We're going to slow you down sophomore year. You'll be back. No, but my point is I want guys, so you've got the Ian Thomas's, Matt Lacoste, Blake Jarwin's out there starting to get more involved. I would much, much rather have the guy who has been more involved in Chris Herndon.

Chris Herndon would be the next guy up against Green Bay at home. He's been involved getting more and more involved. That's the tight end for the New York Jets. You know, that would be tough for me between him and Gates. Going up against the Ravens, I feel like I might go Chris Herndon over Gates. It would probably go Evan Ingraham Chris Herndon and Antonio Gates. That would be my list. And what about new hotness Ian Thomas? I can't. Carolina Panthers. I can't trust a Panther.

unless they were to replace Cam Newton right now. That's the way I feel. And look, if he gets healthy, figures out something good this week to help the shoulder. But it's been my understanding that the shoulder will probably be something he gets surgery on this offseason, but he can play through it. But it's not getting better. It's getting worse. And so the only thing I have to go off of is the past. And the past is a downward pointing arrow.

And if it's pointing down from last night's game, that's, that's very down. That's, that's just in the turf. That's a spiked football. All right. You get your wish, Jason. We're going to talk about defenses. The top plays, even, ah, whatever, the Patriots versus the bills. They're not available. So let's, let's talk about teams that are actually available. The dolphins are taking on the Jaguars. They're widely available. Cody Kessler.

You know what's funny is as soon as Cody Kessler started his first game as the starter. I remembered Cody Kessler from the Browns and thought to myself, he was better than I thought he was going to be. And I think maybe he'll be able to do something. Never mind. He's Cody Kessler. That was about how long that lasted. The Jaguar offense was better with Blake Morales. Dude, they need a snake, man.

That's not fair what they've done to their fans. They need Blake the snake. I got a snake, man. Yeah, but they're not. They threw the towel in. Oh, yeah. It's done for Blake Bortles. He will not be back. What do you do? Let me ask for a friend. Okay. What is your hope for Blake Bortles in a dynasty league? Because he's, I started, I went into this season.

With a three-pack that I thought could, I mean, granted, I'm in the championship here against Brooks, but I thought my quarterback situation was going to be a plus because I had Matt Ryan, Carson Wins, and Blake Bortles. And now it's like, stay healthy, Matt Ryan. Blake Bortle's future is what? Wow. Who can sign him as a starter? Goodness. I mean, you'd have to really be desperate. Where could Bortles actually get a starting job?

I don't know off the top of my head. That's a tough one. Anyways, I derailed us. The dolphins against the Blake borderless Jaguars, Cody Kessler leading the way. Leonard Fournett looking like he's forgotten how to run. I think the dolphins at home are a good defense, but I would rather, if I'm looking out there at the waivers, I would rather have the Tennessee Derek Henrys against the Washington Redskins. The Redskins are, we've said this for the last couple weeks. They're on their.

third string quarterback who's really like a 17th string quarterback and he's been he's been admirable for what he's had to try to do sure but i mean this is a guy that's been out of the league for half a decade and he's playing behind a mashup offensive line with a 30 hundred year old adrian peterson running back like this offense not good can't score didn't the their defense scored last week right

I think Washington Redskins scored a defensive touchdown or something, and they still only scored, like, I got to look that game up. But, I mean, their offense is not going to put up points on the Titans. It's just not happening. The Titans are only available in about 50% of leagues, but I agree that they would be of defenses available in about half of leagues. The Titans are at the top. I do really like the Dolphins against Cody Castle. I think that's a safe matchup.

The Cleveland Browns against the Bengals is also very intriguing. The Bengals are going to be without Tyler Boyd. As soon as they lost Tyler Boyd this last week, they have nobody. They could not move the ball. It's Joe Mixing and bust. Yeah. And you can just put 10 in the box. I mean, the only other player they have is a top 10 drafted wide receiver in the NFL. John Ross, fastest man alive.

Has not been good. Here's another defense I would definitely play. And I know that the matchup is one that a lot of people stay away from. This is a matchup I lean into. It's the Dallas Cowboys at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Interesting. Yes, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers put up a lot of points, a lot of yards. You've got to know your scoring system. But a lot of scoring systems aren't just dependent on yards. It's it's turnovers. It's defensive touchdowns. It's sacks. It's things that James Winston specializes in. The Ravens were not a strong play.

against the bucks. I would still be willing to do it. I mean, the Cowboys defense has been good. I mean, look, Andrew Luck didn't do much. I know Marlon Mack had a nice game, but that was on the road. I would be willing to play them in the championship. All right, let's talk about quarterbacks. Full stream ahead. All right. There's really only one streaming option. I mean, there might need to be more for the people, but there's, I think there's a best, right?

If you're looking at the waivers and people that are still available in the majority of leagues somehow, some way, Josh Allen is available in the majority of fantasy football leagues. Here's how. Here's how he's available. Let me read you his yards since he came back from the by week. Passing yards? Okay. 160. Not good. 231? 206? How about 204?

No. Okay. Well, at least he's thrown an average of a touchdown a game. One. So one for 200. Okay. Well, yeah. So one for 200. Can I interest you in that? QB 19, QB 20. Right. Oh, no, no. He's also averaging a pick a game. So less than that. Take off two points. So obviously this quarterback just he stinks. Except.

Over the last four weeks, he's been a top five quarterback because his rushing yardage of 99, 135, 101, and 16 with three rushing touchdowns in that span and fantasy scoring being broken for the quarterback position. Josh Allen going on the road against New England, yes, they're a great defense that schemes the best option away, and Josh Allen's rushing is the best option. But Josh Allen's rushing is not a, it's not designed.

It's not scripted. They're not calling him out on Lamar Jackson designed runs. They are having plays breakdown. Every play. And Josh Allen going, I'm more athletic than you think I am. And I beat you with my legs. And all it takes is that one, literally, that one play. It doesn't take, you know, oh, he rushed the ball 15 times for 100 yards. He could rush the ball.

10 times for 10 yards, and then once he just beats a guy that you don't expect him to beat, and he takes a 60-yard jaunt, and it's like he threw for 200 yards because fantasy football. Since he came back, since Josh Allen came back from his injury, week 12 against Jacksonville, so these four games, in points per game, he is the number two quarterback. Overall, though, in just fantasy points total at the quarterback position, number one. Yeah.

Number one. I was going to say ahead of Deshawn Watson and Tom Brady, but everybody. When you're number one, name a quarterback. He is better than him since the by week. So, yeah, I mean, you can stream him. Goodness. Now, we read a lot of the bad stats that say, I don't want to trust him. If I've got a great option, you know, if I've got a really good quarterback, I mean, what about the same matchup, right? Same game. Tom Brady on the other side of the field against Buffalo.

Who are you starting in that game? Tom Brady, Hall of Famer. Why couldn't you start with like some softballs of saying Drew Breeze versus Pitt or Cam Newton versus Atlanta? Wait, wait. Drew Breeze versus Pitt versus Josh Allen. Who are playing? I think I would play Josh Allen. I would play Drew Breeze. I know it's a bad. Oh, man. That was a softball. These are all hard. When it comes to Josh Allen in your championship, do you want?

Do you want to roll with the devil? I mean, I feel like you are playing with some dark magic to throw Josh Allen. And we're recommending that you do throw Josh Allen in, but I don't feel, I don't feel clean about it. All right. So you draw the line at Drew Brees, but Cam Newton, you'd play Josh Allen over here. 100% Josh Allen over Cam Newton. Okay, let's Kirk Cousins versus Detroit. Where are they? They're at Detroit.

I think I would play Josh Allen. Oh, my goodness. I think I would play Josh Allen. Dak Prescott versus Tampa Bay at home. I think I'll play Josh Allen. Oh, no. I think I'll play Josh Allen. And then back to where we started. Tom Brady. Tom Brady. Touchdown Tommy. The Golden Boy. Also known as the destroyer of fantasy playoffs historically. These are the weeks for many years running.

He destroyed me last week. Tom Brady or Josh Allen. I can't even say it. I think it's Josh Allen. I think it's Josh Allen. Look, here's the deal, Foot Clan. We are, we're digging in deep on our rankings today. They'll be up in a couple hours. I will pay special attention to these matchups in the quarterback and where we place Josh Allen. But the point here is that the point here is Josh Allen should be on your roster.

Even if you don't play him, make sure your opponent doesn't have that dark magic and play Josh Allen. I got one more nasty one for you. Josh Allen or Jared Garf. Jared Barf. Jared Garf. Somehow you survived and you're in the title game. Are you playing Jared Garf against Arizona? I have seen people that. Jared.

Garf that has said, and they showed me screenshots, that people are in the championship having gone back to back bad weeks with Jared Garf. And I could tell you, I would play Jared Goff. Against Arizona. No way. Not me. Yep, I will. I'm not doing it. I will. I will play Jared Goff over Josh Allen. But I guess that is where we draw the line, where you should draw the line.
