But it's still not a terrifying matchup for running backs, especially for,

We're going to go through a couple more names, obviously, but with Spencer Ware being an unknown at this point and waivers are going to run tonight, are you going to go in on Damien Williams or would you prefer to look at, take a trip to the Bellagio, grab Kalin Belage, rookie for the Miami Dolphins, or go with the rumbling stumbling. We've got to get this in here. Jamal Williams. There he is. I see him.

I see him. He's at the 20. He's still running slower than Aaron Jones. He's at the 22. Aaron Jones is on all fours and winning the race. He's got a sprained. Aaron Jones is now on his back scooting along faster than Jamal Williams. Look, Jamal Williams, we can make phone of him, but he got it done 12 for 55 and a score 4 for 42 through the air. Yeah. Take the risk for Damien Williams, who I think has more upside than these two guys, Canel Blas and Jamal Williams, or would you go with the shorefire starter that Jamal Williams looks like he's going to be? I'm going to trust the offense. Now, in, what does that mean? Does that mean Damien or Jamal? What do you mean that means? The folkland listening, at this point, this is week 16, which offense do you trust? The Kansas City Chiefs.

or Aaron Rogers' Green Bay Packers. It's Pat Mahomes. I mean, even in Seattle, I'm going to trust Amy Williams. Now, he's amazingly, he's still available in like 33% of leagues, but he has mostly owned. But if he's out there, he should not be. And I would be picking him up with the complete confidence that he's the full-time starter. I would not be worried about Spencer Ware, even though Spencer Ware could come back and you have to pivot off of Damien Williams, because I think the upside there,

is, you know, the touchdown opportunities for Kansas City running back are going to be very high, even in Seattle. Okay. So the other two guys who are actually widely available, Kalin Belage, Jamal Williams, how do you rank those two guys? Kalin Belage will get the matchup against the Cody Kessler-led Jacksonville Jaguars.

or Jamal Williams against the New York Jets. So, and I wanted to circle back as quick as we could because all jokes aside on how slow and plotting Jamal Williams is by comparison to Aaron Jones, Jamal Williams is a great pickup this week as well. So it's not to, look, we have fun. He would be my top pickup. He would be your, so even over.

Damien Williams. No, not over Damien Williams, but of the guys who were actually widely available, he would be my top pick. Mine as well. You have to assume Aaron Jones is completely out based on the fact that they're picking up Capri Bibs. And based on the fact that it's Capri Bibbs, this is going to be the Jamal Williams show. The New York Jets are a middle of the pack team against running backs. I wish it was at home for Jamal Williams. I would like that far better than on the road. But look, he had.

Basically 100 yards last week and a touchdown. This week, I think Jamal Williams has a, you know, he has a very good week. And if it's someone that you must play, like something happened where you don't have another option and you're deciding between Damien Williams or Jamal Williams. In that situation, Jamal Williams is more secured. Yes. Because he's going to be the full time back this week.

Otherwise, Kalin Belage. He's interesting. Yeah, I mean, if it wasn't Jacksonville, and I know Jacksonville's kind of phoning it in right now. And did you see the report that Dolphins head coach, Mr. Behole, said Canyon Drake's limited role has nothing to do with injury. Sure it doesn't. Adam. Sure it doesn't. Adam Gase hates Kenyon Drake.

That is true. We are at the point where I can firmly say that he, there is a personal vendetta against Kenyon Drake for some reason that we are not privy to. Yeah, I mean, there's no alternative theory that would make any sense. No, none at all. He hates him as a man, as a person, as, as an employee, even. No, but I do believe it's injury related. I mean.

He doesn't want to go out and say, yeah, I'm worried about his shoulder. Please don't hit him hard. No, he's going to go out and say he's healthy. He's fine. Because guys would take that into account. They're not going to try and hit Ken you Drake as hard as they can regardless. That's the problem with Mr. Bhole. He plays these games. He plays these games from the backside. I'm surprised that Mr. Bhole doesn't do the who's going to be the quarterback starter every week. Oh.

I mean, if he could. If he could, he would. There's, there are still NFL rules with regard to injury and, and what you have to, you know, make known. But the only thing worse than Mr. Bhole is a dirty Mr. Bhole. And he usually is.

Let's be honest. This is ridiculous. Now, that being said, Frank Gore is done. Yes. Frank Gore is not going to be playing this week. Rest the season, we probably won't see him again. So with Kenyon Drake, either in the doghouse, or I guess we should call that the toilet, he's either in the toilet or he's injured or both. Kalon Belage is interesting.

He's definitely available. He's got the juice. He's got the speed to break one. I mean, when I was anti-Kalin Belage coming into the draft, Andy was super high on Kalem Blage. You know, and even then when I was bad-mouthing him, I said he'll break a couple long runs because the dude has top-in speed. Weight-adjusted speed is unbelievable. But what I said then over and over kind of pissed Andy off the amount of times I said it was.

He is great at running in a straight line. Yes. And that's basically what he did. And I 100% agree with that take. That's what he did. He ran in a straight line this last week and nobody could catch him. But he could do that again. I mean, Derek Henry says what? About that Jacksonville defense? So, yeah, Kalim Blage this late with an injured toilet-ridden Kenyon Drake and no Frank Gore. I think Kalan Belage is injured. Those three guys to me.

are the three pickups of the week. I wanted to throw out one more name before you decidedly said who the top three guys were. Too bad. I already did it. But Elijah McGuire is not in the top three. Okay. He's available in about 70% in leagues, 18 for 42 with a score on the ground, three for 29. Isaiah Crowell, the starter for the New York Jets is on the IR. He gets to play against Green Bay at home. So you would go for the jackpot.

at the Bellagio over Elijah McGuire this week. Yeah, I mean, the volume will be there, and I think McGuire is fine. I'm not anti-Maguire here. I'm just pro those three guys. But Elijah McGuire was very inefficient, and it wasn't the best matchup last week, but if he didn't get that touchdown, everyone would have been very disappointed with his performance. I think he was averaging like 2.3 yards of carry.

and did not look that great. And I don't believe a lot. I've never believed Elijah McGuire is a very talented running back. So at home, against Green Bay as the full-time back, he should be owned. He's a worthy flex. But in the championship, most people have better running backs. You know what I mean? Well, a lot of players went down this past week. Yeah, I mean, a few did, but some are coming back. I mean, you get Melvin Gordon back this week. So I.

I feel like Damian Williams, Jamal Williams, those guys can crack into playoff lineups. Elijah McGuire, if he's cracking your playoff lineup, then everyone's rooting for you because you're the Cinderella of the playoffs. You don't belong there. Are you picking up John Kelly backup for the Los Angeles Rams perceived starter if Todd Gurley is to miss any sort of time? We know that Gurley is day to day. I would expect him to play, but...

You just, you never know at this point. Here's a helpful tip. Every player that is not worth playing this week for you or for your opponent does not need, assuming this is your championship week as it should be, and you're not week 17, if you're week 17 take this advice for next week. Every player on your lineup that, you know, that you don't think your opponent should play or you shouldn't play.

does not belong on your roster. There's no reason for other than keeper considerations if you're in that league. So don't be afraid to drop a ton of guys to pick up. You know, look, if you're going up against the girly owner, you should absolutely pick up John Kelly and drop your Randall Cobb or whoever is on your bench just as a backup player that you're not going to use because it should the knee get aggravated further this week?

Yeah, I think John Kelly, though I would much rather have that type of a player on my lineup than a middle tier wide receiver that you're not actually going to start this week. Let's talk about some tight ends. Oh, one other name to throw out there, Alford Blue. Lamar Miller hurt his ankle. The report on Lamar Miller, though, is that the arm, that the ankle injury isn't serious. Okay. So I was going to talk about him. Less exciting. But he gets the matchup in Philadelphia.

Jeff Wilson also was in consideration to be talked about because Matt Barita aggravated his ankle injury. Brita will be back. He'll probably be back. And also, Jeff is playing the Chicago Bears. My name is Jeff. We are stupid. Oh, all right. So can we move on to the tight ends or do you actually want to talk about the Buffalo bill's running back? No, I would actually like to move on to defenses. If we can skip tight ends, I would be a happy week. Did you guys mention Smallwood?

Do you think he's right? We didn't. No, look, all right, Brooks. You're, you're right. Let's talk about one. He had two touchdowns this past week. It's just one week. I know. All right. Let's talk about Wendell Smallwood. Josh Adams starting running back for the Philadelphia Eagles. He was forced to leave on two separate occasions, but he did come back both times. And, yeah, I mean, they, it's a monitor. Wendell Smallwood would be behind Damien, Jamal, Belage.

McGuire. McGuire. Probably if Jeff Wilson is alone in the backfield, even with the matchup against Chicago, I would play him over Wendell Smallwood. If Alfred Blue is alone, I would play him over Wendell Smallwood. How does that make you feel Brooks, knowing that we'd play everyone we talked about over Wendell Smallwood. You never know. That being said, if Josh. Is Wendell Smallwood on your team? No, Wittles Smallwood is on my team. Oh, and I have Josh Adams. So if Josh Adams were to go down this week because he's dealing with injury.

If he's ruled out, then Windows Smallwood is absolutely valuable, as is Darren Sproles. If you're in a PPR league, Darren Sproles, if Josh Adams is out, he'll be a sneaky PPR machine. That's all I'm saying. He's worth an ad in some leagues. But as of right now, I don't see any reason that Josh Adams won't be out there. They just won. They're in the hunt. This is a get up, get out, get healthy, get in the game, Josh Adams situation. So I don't think they're resting them.

All right, let's talk about the tight ends real quick. No, don't make me do it. I mean, here's one, Evan Ingram. That's it. End of list. He's available in like 30% of leagues. He's not available in your league. I get it. Evan Engram would be the top pickup. But Antonio Gates, if Keenan Allen is going to miss the game and your love for Mike Williams. Yeah. Do you know how many targets Antonio Gates had last week? Five. That's right. Do you know how tired he is?

Do you know how tired Antonio Gates? Thankfully it was a Thursday night game. Yeah, he's got extra rest. Here's what's crazy. Antonio Gates would be the next man up. He would be next best of widely available owned or widely available unowned tight ends. I would choose Antonio Gates over Gerald Everett over Blake Jarwin and Matt LaCoss and Ian Thomas. Really? Don't do it, man. All right. I mean.
